The three alicorns were standing in the balcony overlooking their subjects. Today was National Cutie Mark Day.
“I’m sure everypony is aware of National Cutie Mark Day,” Radiant stated in her Royal Canterlot voice.
“And remember, this day is dedicated to helping Blank-flanked foals find their cutie marks,” Moonlight added.
Starry smiled wide, “on behalf of the Royal Sisters. I wish you a Happy National Cutie Mark Day!”
The sisters then turned and left, leaded by four stallion guards.
“Captain Crunch,” Radiant said. “What is it this time?”
Crunch frowned, “we had a attempted terrorist in Quills & Sofas.”
Starry’s eyes widened, “what happened.”
“The pony claimed to have set off a bomb, but it wasn’t set up right… they have been instituted to the mental ward.” Crunch explained. “They still need a punishment, right?”
Moonlight bit her lip, “I disagree. Nopony got hurt, and whoever did that is getting treatment.”
Radiant furrowed her brow at her sister, “that pony TRIED to kill innocent ponies. What if they didn’t fail? Then what? How are our allies going to take us seriously, if all we do if through bad ponies into the nut house?”
Starry turned to Moonlight, “I agree with Radiant. We need to start punishing our terrorists.”
Moonlight wouldn’t meet her sister's eyes as they walked in her office. The door light up and swung inside. Radiant sat down behind the desk, levitating a blank scroll, ink bottle, and quill on her desk.
On behalf of all the Royal Sisters,
I decree that...
Radiant turned to face the Captain.“What’s the pony’s name?”
“Loose Screw,” Captain Crunch said.

“15.” Starry said, fluttering her wings.
And 15 years of community service.
“Seriously,” Moonlight said.
“Yes.” Radiant said flatly, she dipped her quill in ink and signed the Royal Sisters signature. She then rolled it up and tied a golden ribbon around it. Crunch took the scroll in his hoof and trotted out. Radiant collapsed onto her desk, “princess work is soooooo exhausting…. Why do we have to do this for eternity!”
Starry stroked Radiant silky smooth mane, “it’s fine. We have each other.” And the all embraced in a group hug.
