"... So... this is what it all came down to... isn't that right, Dark Sun?" Was heard from Princess Celestia, wearing her golden armor, with the symbol of the Sun on every piece of her armor, as she also held her golden halberd with her magic.

The bipedal being in front of her, wearing armor that looked to be made out of platinum, with an emblem of a darkened sun with two bolts of lightning and fire crossing on it, on every piece of the armor as well, nodded to Celestia's question, but the being's helmet, which had spikes on the back of it, showed two, mismatched eyes... with one being a fiery red, glowing, and the other being an electric blue, glowing as well.

"It appears so, Celestia... but now, I must ask... why do you not surrender, when you know what you are losing and fighting for a dead cause? It doesn't... it doesn't make sense!" The being said, it's voice demonic, yet angelic, chaotic, yet orderly, and holy, yet unholy, as it clenched its weapon (a dull red, dull white, and dull black mechanical scythe) tightly.

Celestia stared at the being and said "Because I will not go down without a fight... and I certainly won't be defeated by your hooves."

The being, Dark Sun, stayed silent at this, before it growled and said, readying it's weapon, "So be it."

Celestia readied her weapon, as well, before they both charged at each other, clashing their weapons together, glaring at each other as they tried to push the other back.

Dark Sun then knocked Celestia away with his foot, only to then dash towards her, clashing his weapon against hers as she tried to block his attacks, only to leave herself open to a kick or a punch.

She was then knocked to the ground by Dark Sun, as he stood over her, his scythe's blade pressed against her throat.

She glared at him and asked "Who... who are you, Dark Sun? Who actually are you?"

Dark Sun chuckled, before he removed his helmet, revealing a face that made Celestia gasp in not fear, but disbelief...

... for Dark Sun was actually Equestria's former guardian... Lord Metarex1.

She stared at him in shock, as he then spoke, his voice the same as before, but it was more... electrifying and... deep, than before, "I know what your going to say, Tia... how could I have done this?"

Celestia stayed silent in shock as Lord Metarex continued "How could I, the Guardian of Equestria- no, EQUIS, do all of this," as he then motioned around to the area below them2, where soldiers of both Celestia's army and Lord Metarex's army were fighting, before he continued, "when I had protected the Faust-for-saken planet for this. Fucking. LONG!", as he pressed his scythe closer and closer to Celestia's neck, getting more and more angry as he spoke.

"Well... go on, guess. Guess why I did this, Celestia." He said, his razorsharp, steel teeth showing as he eerily grinned.

Celestia didn't speak, making him smirk at this and say "Because... you've become a tyrant.", making her eyes shrink, before she growled and blasted him with a bolt of fire, sending him backwards a few feet.

"Metal Sonic-" She began to say, only to be shot in the hoof by something, cutting her off and making her yell in pain.

When she looked to the source of it, she saw that the scythe that Lord Metarex was using had transformed into a gun, as he was growling and huffing in anger, before he said, pissed off, "Do NOT call me that anymore, Celestia."

She flinched at his tone, venom in his voice, as he began to walk toward her, his weapon transforming back into a scythe, before he said "The alliance between me and Equestria is over, Celestia... and it's time that you pay for your crimes."

Author's Note

1: His real name is Metal Sonic. He went through two names before finally stopping at Lord Metarex. The two names were Metal Sonic 3.0 (M.S.3.0, which he was called the longest for) and King Neo Metal Sonic 3.0 (King N.M.S.3.0, which he used when he was a temporary owner of a dojo- true fact!). And yes, he is Equestria's guardian. He has been for at least a year and a half before ending his alliance with Equestria.

2: They are currently fighting on top of Twilight's Castle of Friendship. Well, technically. They are above it, but they are on a large, circular, magical platform created by Dark Sun/Lord Metarex and Celestia.
