The Day Before Christmas
"It has been a while, huh, Charms?"
Metro, gazed of the window, commented nonchalantly.
"You mean, since I saved your butt?"
Charms teased.
Metro is the red pegasus with rainbow wings and a bionic eye, while Charms is the grey unicorn with white mane. It's been a year since that train wreck that reunited the sisters and gave Metro her now bionic eye. Today is Christmas and the weather is pretty average for a typical Ponyville winter, that is, snowy and cold.
"Say... Metro, why haven't we started decorating the house yet?" Charms asked, looking around the place. The walls are barren and a peek outside the window reveals the equally dismal front porch.of the house.
"I don't know, why can't we just, you know, stay home and we warm and fluffy..." Metro grumbled and sipped on her hot chocolate that she made after getting out of bed. "I just want to stay home and enjoy my day off..."
"Aww, c'mon, lazybones."
And then they went around Ponyville in search of decorations, sweet treats, and Charms slipped a branch of mistletoe into her saddlebag without her sister noticing. Christmas Eve is gonna get interesting.
