Discord's Joke Shop

Discord had been laying in his thinking tree for several days now. After helping save all of Equestria, again, with Trixie and Starlight, not much had happened. He had tried to entertain himself with pranking the residents of Ponyville, but it was difficult to do so when Fluttershy could easily put a stop to that. Not wanting to be alone, Discord had moved his tree to the center of the Park in Ponyville. He simply resigned himself to shoot flaming arrows at a nearby wall he had conjured up.

“Discord, what are you doing?!”

“Bored,” he replied, not caring enough to find out who was interrogating him.

“What?” the unknown pony asked.

“Bored. Bored! BORED!” Discord shouted as he shot arrows with each word, and he strangely said this with a British accent. “I have nothing to do and I AM BORED! Also, who is this and why are you here?”

“Uh, I’m Lyra, and I was going to relax with my lyre in the park, but I’m slightly concerned that if I stay I might get shot with a flaming arrow.”

“Well unless you can find a way for me to entertain myself without fiery projectiles, I’m afraid that I’m going to be awhile.”

“Sweet Celestia, why don’t you just conjure up some chaos clouds?”

“One, that is really good name and now I'm keeping it. Two, if I did then there would be a Discord-has-gone-rogue-again angry mob to deal with, and I would rather not have to deal with such a mob."

"That is true, yeah. Though I do know that there were some good things from your chaotic rule. Those chaos clouds for one, and I'm pretty sure those giant apples would have fed a lot of mouths."

Wow, thought Discord. I haven't even considered that. I usually just used my abilities for whatever I wanted, but they could be used to help ponies.

"Wait a minute!" he exclaimed, "What's in it for me? This sounds like something Sunbutt would say."

"Well," Lyra responded, "Why don't you just sell chaos?"

"What do you mean sell chaos?! Chaos isn't something that can be bought and sold!"

"Why not?"

"... ... ..."

"So then I thought, why don't I just sell chaos!"

After having a chat with Miss Heartstrings, they came up with a plan to create chaos ponies love.
