//-------------------------------------------------------// To See The World Within Her Eyes -by StormHoof32- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// To See The World Within A Moment //-------------------------------------------------------// To See The World Within A Moment CHAPTER 1 Driving along the long asphalt road had become something of the norm over the past two years for Michael and his wife. It had become something they did every year on the eve of the anniversary of their wedding. They would drive this particular stretch of road from Reno to Palm Desert to spend their Anniversary down in Palm Springs. This year however was different. This year they had a third passenger, their soon to be born daughter. "Sweetheart we're going to need to pull over soon. It's starting to get dark and you know how I feel about driving the pass in the dark." Jennifer said to her husband who at the moment was focusing intently on the part of the road that was viewable. The fog had rolled in and had become quite thick as they drove the frigid mountain pass. "I know hun but it's still about 5 miles until we hit the Donner Lake, we can stop there for the night." Mike replied. Squinting now Mike could barely make out the road through the windshield even with his fog lights on. As they turned what he could make out as a corner they where side blinded by a truck that had swerved into the barrier between the roads, slamming them into the Cliffside to their right. The last think Mike saw before blacking out was his wife being crushed against the side of the car. * * * Mike bolted upright in his bed as sweat dripped from his body, the remnants of the nightmarish memory still fresh in his sleep addled mind. Rubbing his eyes with his thumb and his forefinger he swung his legs over the edge of his small bed and stood up. Stretching his back and looking out the window to the lively bustling city he sighed. It had been the same nightmare for the past ten years. The same one that had haunted him since the accident that had taken his wife and unborn child from him. Frowning he walked into his small dilapidated kitchen and opened his fridge. His frown deepened at the distinct lack of alcohol present. Closing his fridge he went back to his bed and opened the box next to it, retrieving his pants and sweatshirt. This particular sweatshirt was black through and through and was his most cherished one. It had been a gift from his wife when they had been dating. She had saved up for it and had presented it to him on their 3 month anniversary. Slipping them both on he walked out his door, leaving his keys inside. He descended the stairs and stepped on to the rainy street of downtown Tacoma. He knew that tomorrow the landlord would be coming for the rent he wouldn't pay. Walking down the street he headed for the bar, knowing full well his goal. Upon entering the door to the bar he was immediately grabbed by the bouncer who resided at the desk just inside. "Sorry buddy but you're not welcome here anymore. You're gonna have to leave." he said in a gruff voice that came with many years of smoking. Sighing and nodding in response Mike turned and left. He continued on down the street a new destination in mind. After walking the rest of the night Mike came upon the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, a twin suspension bridge. His mind clearer than it had ever been was dead set on his destination. He moved himself to the center of the bridge looking out over the water. Closing his eye's he climbed up onto the edge of the bridge. He opened his eye's and looked out to the horizon and knew that he had had enough of life. He had almost taken the step when someone had grabbed him and yanked him back. Falling to the ground with a thud and grunt in pain he looked about for who had pulled him down. When he looked up he noticed a rather tall woman with Rainbow Colored hair that seemed to come down to her shoulders in waves. "What the Tartarus is wrong with you! You could have died!" she yelled, her tone filled with equal degrees of shock and disappointment. "That was the point." Mike replied in a sub-monotone voice. He didn't care anymore. If anything he could wait until she left to try again. This time he would succeed. "Why on earth would you want to kill yourself?" she asked, seeming perplexed. "Why does it matter to you, just be on your way so I can end my life and move on." he said. "I'm sorry but I'm not moving from this spot until you explain to me what in the world could be so bad that you would take your own life." she said crossing her arms over her rather oversized chest. "Lady listen, I don't care who you are or who you think you are. You have no business with me or the things that happened in my past. So please just go." he said, sighing in annoyance. The woman was done, she'd had enough of his stubbornness. She stepped forward and placed her hand upon his head and immediately he began reliving his entire life from birth to now. Everything was moving at super speed and was forcing him to feel everything just as fast. When she had reached their current point she removed her hand. "J-Jesus fucking Christ lady what the fuck did you just do to me!" he yelled, clutching at his head as he dropped to his knees. "I read your memories. I wish I didn't have to but you gave me no choice." she responded. "W-Who the fuck are you!!!!" he screamed backing away in terror. "Please Michael Rivenburgh do not be afraid. I am Celestia, Princess Of The Sun." she replied in a voice that had reminded Mike of his mother. "Wha- What?" he said, quivering. "H-How do you know my name?" "Michael Rivenburgh I know your name because I have seen it in your memories." she replied. Michael was dumbfounded and still slightly frightened. Only her tone was beginning to calm him. Who was this woman and how was she able to view his memories. "So Michael. I now understand your sorrow. But how would you feel if I told you there is another way." Celestia said to him, a graceful smile upon her face. "What are you talking about? Why me? I just want to end it! Please go away!" he said, having calmed down to a certain degree, though his heart still raced. "Michael I offer this chance to you now, come with me to my kingdom, to Equestria and I you can start a new life. I can even wipe your memories if you so wish, though I would rather not." she said, offering his hand. "Yeah okay lady, and what then huh? Am I suppose to just believe you? I mean sure the whole memory thing was weird, but come on, a Kingdom called Equestria?! That's a load of Bullshit and you know it." he said standing up as he shoved his hands into his pockets and walked away. "Yeah not happening lady." "Michael I can prove it to you if you wish." she replied. Michael stopped and turned around. At this point he was sure that she was just blowing smoke out her ass. "Alright lady listen, I'll follow you okay? But if this turns in to a robbery at gunpoint, i'll have you know I have no money and would rather you shoot me now." he said. He had thought about her offer for only a second before he had realized that he had nothing better to do and nowhere to go. Not to mention he was just about to kill himself so he figured he'd humor the lady. "I intend nothing of the sort." She replied. "So? where we goin?" he asked. "Nowhere. I shall show you right here." she said as she raised her hands which had now begun to glow an unnatural white. Michael watched in awe as a singular white lined started from her fingertip. she drew her finger from the air to the ground and withdrew her hand as a doorway opened up in front of him. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Within the doorway he could see trees and grass and flowers. But what through him off even more was the cartoon look everything seemed to possess. It was ethereal and Michael had to rub his eyes a few times to make sure he wasn't dreaming. "I-I-I don't...I can't..." he said, stammering at the impossibility of it. "So Michael, or should I say Mike, what do you say?" she asked, holding out her hand. Mike stood their, jaw hanging as he thought about her offer. He could start over, a new life. He really didn't want his memories wiped, he was fond of his memories, but everything else seemed so perfect. After mulling it over for a good fifteen minutes he reached out and grabbed her hand. "Fine. Please let me start over." he said. She smiled and pulled him through the doorway as they where surrounded by a blinding light. * * * //-------------------------------------------------------// To See The World In Laughter //-------------------------------------------------------// To See The World In Laughter CHAPTER 2 When Mike opened his eye's he found himself staring at a very cartoony looking sky. Gazing up in amazement he drew his first breath in this land. And with even more surprise found his raspy breath was gone. The air here was fresher than he could ever imagine and it made him smile for the first time in many years. "I'm glad our kingdom makes you so happy." Celestia said. Mike turned and found something he wasn't expecting at all. Before him stood a gorgeous pure while mare with a horn on her head and wings nestled at her back. He also noticed that her hair no longer hung down but waved behind her as if a breeze where blowing through it. The same could be said for her tail. He looked and noticed she wore a golden tiara with a point larger than the rest at its crest, as well as a golden breastplate and golden shoes as well. "Y-You're a horse!" he exclaimed. "Not a horse no, I am a pony, more specifically I am an alicorn. A combination of the three races that inhabit our fair kingdom." she replied. "Three races?" he questioned. "Yes, our land is populated by three races. Earth ponies who manage the land. Pegasi who control the weather, and Unicorns who control magic." she explained. "A-Are there any other races here?" he asked. "Many many more live in our lands and beyond our borders. But there is time for that later. There is somepony I wish you to meet." Celestia said. "Ok, so should I bow to you then? after all you did mention that you were a princess." Mike asked. "You need not bow unless you wish to stay here. I have decided to give you a grace period with which to get acquainted with our land. Should you decide to stay here, Then I will have paperwork for your citizenship written and signed." she replied. "Oh. Thank you I guess. So who is it you want me to meet?" Mike asked. "The pony I wish you to meet is a student of mine and a fellow princess. You will be staying with her in Ponyville for the time being whilst you get settled. Follow me." she said as she trotted past him toward what Mike could make out as a small village. He followed quietly as she lead him to the village which he guessed must be Ponyville. She stopped before they entered the town. "Before we enter I must warn you, the ponies of Ponyville are an easily startled and curious bunch. So should they freak out upon seeing you, you need not worry, for it is how they are. Do you understand?" she asked. "I guess. Yeah I understand." he responded albeit hesitantly. "Good then follow me please." He did as he was told and followed her into the town, marveling at the sight of Pegasus ponies flying and pushing clouds. He could see Unicorns lifting things with magic and Earth ponies pulling carts. It was all so much to take in and had caused him to not notice that half of them had stopped what they were doing to either bow for the Princess or gawk at him. He could hear them whispering saying things about who this strange new creature was and why it was with the Princess. Noticing the attention he was accruing he looked down and chose to stick close to Princess Celestia. Before he knew it they had come upon a large castle made entirely of crystal. It's enormity and beauty had him once again awestruck. The Princess giggled and asked him to follow her inside. Doing as he was told he followed and his jaw dropped at how beautiful it was inside. "PRINCESS CELESTIA!!!!!!" a voice yelled out in excitement. At the sound Mike yelped in a very unmanly manner and jumped behind Celestia, hiding as best he could. "Hello my dear Twilight. How are you today?" she asked. "I'm great!!! I didn't know you where stopping by! Luna said you were on vacation!" said a purple alicorn who at the moment was hopping up and down in front of Princess Celestia. "I was but I have returned, which is why I must speak with you. Twilight, this is Michael, or Mike as he seems to prefer. I would like you to watch over him during his stay here. And, should he decide to stay, help him find a home." she explained as Mike coughed and moved from behind her, a blush adorning his face, causing the Princess to giggle once more. "OH MY GOSH!" Twilight yelled, running up with a quill and parchment out as if to take notes. "Twilight, I do believe that is not how we greet guests." Princess Celestia giggled. "Oh o-of course. Silly me. Hi I'm Twilight Sparkle. It's nice to meet you Mike." She said extending a hoof. Not one to forget his manners, Mike went down on one knee and kissed her hoof with a bowed head. "It is a pleasure your Highness." he responded as Twilight's face exploded with a blush. "O-Oh you don't have to call my that. Please Twilight is fine." she said as she took back her hoof, rubbing it sheepishly. "Of course." Mike said. "So might I ask, did you come from the mirror?" she said, quill at the ready. "Mirror?" he asked. This mare was quite energetic. "Twilight I brought him here from another dimension. He is not from the Mirror. Well I'll leave you two to get aquainted. I must return to Canterlot and let my sister know of my return." she said as she teleported in a bright flash. "Ok, so, if you aren't from the mirror, where are you from?" she asked. "I uh. I guess I'm from a place called earth." Mike said. "Uh huh. So this earth, tell me about it." Twilight said quill at the ready. At that moment Mike's stomach decided it was tired of being ignored and it released a guttural growl, letting it's displeasure be known. "Oh, I'm so sorry, you sound hungry. Would you like something to eat?" Twilight asked. "Um, sure." Mike replied, unsure of whether or not they had anything other than hay. "Ok good, follow me and I'll take you over to SugarCube Corner, and you can meet my friend Pinkie while we're at it." She said with a smile. 'God that's cute.' mike thought to himself as he followed her out of the castle. What they eventually came upon Mike could only describe as a giant colorful gingerbread house. How they managed to make it look so delicious would forever elude him. They walked inside only for Mike to be bombarded by a super speedy pink blur. When he looked at who was sitting on him he found himself face to face with a pink mare who had the widest smile he had ever seen across her face. "HI!I'mPinkiePieYoumustbenewbecauseidontknowwhatyouareandi'veneverseenyoubefore soyoumustbenewandbecauseyournewineedtothrowyouawelcometoponyvilleparty!!!!Doyoulikecake!!!!!" she said as supersonic speed. Mike was barely able to catch half of what she said, responding with a "Um...What?" "Pinkie give him some space and talk slower, we've been over this, not everypony new can handle your super speak." Twilight said with a giggle. 'Is giggling just a thing here?' he wondered. "Oh, sorry. I just got so excited that I couldn't help myself." Pinkie said as she backflipped off his chest. "So what was it you said?" mike asked as she stood back up. "I asked if you liked cake." Pinkie said with a smile. "Um yeah I like cake. But you said all that just to ask if I liked cake?" "Of course not silly, I said I was planning your welcome to ponyville party." She said as she zipped behind the counter. "So what can get for you two?" "We'll take two cupcakes Pinkie." Twilight said as she slid two gold coins onto the counter. "Alrighty, two super delicious yummy fantastic cupcakes coming right up!" she said as she ducked behind the counter, only to pop up with two cupcakes in her hooves. She placed them on the counter as she took the two coins and placed them in a pouch that she pulled from her mane. Mike only stared in shock. 'I think something is definitely wrong with this mare.' he thought. "Mike just remember like the rest of us, It's just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie. It took me a while but you get use to it." Twilight said as she grabbed both of their cupcakes in her magic. She handed one to him and they left the shop, heading back to the castle. As they ate their treats, 'it's so fucking delicious', Twilight explained where Mike would be staying within the castle. Apparently he would be in a room next to somepony called Spike. He figured it would be her pet or something. When they where back in the castle Mike explained he was going to take a nap, having not gotten much sleep that night. Twilight smiled and showed him to his room where he promptly laid down on the fair too oversized bed and closed his eyes. 'This place...it's beautiful...' was his final thought before he drifted off to the land of dreams. Author's Note alright thats the second chapter everyone. I hope you all enjoyed it. More to come at a later date and I must say it is so damn difficult to write pinkie when she is speaking super fast. It's goes against my brain's automatic need to correct things lol. Let me know in the comments what you liked or disliked and let me know if there are any errors and their locations and i'll fix it as soon as possible. With love, -StormHoof //-------------------------------------------------------// To See The World In A Starry Sky //-------------------------------------------------------// To See The World In A Starry Sky CHAPTER 3 When Mike opened his eye's it wasn't the dilapidated and water stained ceiling that he had come to know from his old apartment, no what he found was the twisting turns of beautifully arching crystal that made up the roof of the guest room he was currently staying in. He laid there as he followed the swooping curves and turns that the light took as it traveled along the surface of the crystal, giving a lightshow that few would ever experience and one that Mike would never forget. 'So yesterday wasn't a dream then.' he thought to himself as he swung his legs over the edge of the bed. Breathing in with a deep good morning breath he noticed a disgusting smell had decided to greet him. He leaned his head down and took a few whiffs of his hoodie, nose crinkling in disgust. He couldn't really remember the last time he had washed his clothes, and the fresh air here had revitalized his senses. He could now smell his own horrid odor wafting off his clothing and it brought him near the brink of vomiting. He took a look around the room and found exactly what he was looking for, a bathroom. He stood up and made his way inside, expecting it to be large and extravagant. What he found was a simple bathroom with a toilet, shower/bathtub, and a sink. Ignoring his brief shock he stripped down to nothing and placed his clothing in a pile on the toilet seat. Staring at it as well as the shower, he could only wonder how they had plumbing considering that the whole village looked like something from the middle ages. 'Maybe it's only because this is a castle for a Princess' he thought as he stepped into the tub. Looking at the spigot and handle he could see that it was simply labeled hot, and cold. Mike loved hot showers, so he turned the handle as far as it would go. Mike stood there as he felt the water begin it's cascade down his back. Now that he thought about it, it had actually been a while since his last shower. How he had not been able to smell how bad his odor was only made him realize just how bad earths air had to be compared to this place. After standing in the water for a good five minutes he decided to start cleaning himself. Looking around he found a bottle of shampoo, a bottle of conditioner and a bar of white soap. They bottles read Lavender Scented and the bar of soap smelled like what Mike could only place as the scent of spring. Shrugging he began to wash himself, getting everywhere he deemed too dirty to not clean. He avoided his feet, figuring the water and suds that ran down his body would take care of it, and moved on to washing his hair. As he scrubbed his hair he thought back on the last time he had even combed it. He had been getting ready for date night with his wife at the time and had spent extra time trying to make himself look nice. Once he finished showering he stepped out and grabbed one of the four white towels that had been hanging on the metal rod near the shower and began to dry himself off. Once he was dry enough he wrapped the towel around his waist and tucked it so it would stay. Picking up his dirty clothing he walked out into the room and stopped, realization smacking him the face. 'I don't even know where they wash their clothes.' Frowning, he looked around the room only to find a large empty closet. His frown deepened as he peeked his head outside his door. He looked to the left and then to the right, making sure there wasn't anyone (anypony?) around. Gingerly he took a few steps out and began tip toeing through the hallway. He looked around and became even more distraught over the fact that none of the doors in the hall he was in were labeled. Sighing to himself Mike walked to each door, taking a small peek inside. Many of them were bedrooms much like the one he had slept in. He continued down the hall until he came to the intersection that led to what he figured based on the sun rise, was a North Hall. To his left was the hall that lead to the foyer he had met Twilight in the other day. Figuring that that might be a good start be turned into the hallway and continued his journey to clean his clothes. What he didn't expect was to find Twilight at the bottom of the stairs. She looked up at him with wide eyes and a curious look on her face. Mike felt his face heat up as she stared. "Um...Hi?" he said in embarrassment. "Y-You're completely hairless without clothes?" Twilight responded. At that, Mike could only mentally facepalm. Of course she would say that, especially if the way she acted yesterday was of any consequence. Mike could already tell she was a mare who enjoyed learning new things. "Uh. Yeah, we humans don't grow much hair. If it's not too much trouble, could you maybe show me where you clean your laundry?" He asked, holding his dirty clothes out. "Oh! Of course, follow me." Twilight said as she walked past him. "We have washing machines in the North Hall." 'Score one for me' Mike thought as he did a mental fist pump while they walked into what he had deemed the North Hall. An hour and a half later Mike was dressed and smelled cleaner than he could remember, and he distinctly smelled of Lavender and Spring, which in his opinion wasn't necessarily bad. Grinning he followed the stairs back down to the Foyer. While his clothes had washed and dried, Twilight had given him a tour of the castle, which appeared to be much larger than it seemed on the outside. Once he got to the Foyer he maid his way to Twilight's study where she said she and this Spike of hers would have breakfast waiting. When he opened the door he found Twilight sitting at the table with three books floating in front of her along with a piece of parchment, a quill and a fork that at that moment could be seen bringing bites of food to her waiting mouth. Smiling Mike went to take a seat at the table, until he noticed who else was sitting there. His eye's went wide as he found himself eye to eye with a Purple and Green dragon the size of himself, with leathery purple and green wings folded against his back. "Hey, you must be Mike. Twilight was telling me about you, I'm Spike." He said as he held out a claw to him. Shaking off his shock he grabbed the Spike's claw and shook. "Um, yeah, nice to meet you Spike." Mike said, still slightly surprised at seeing that even Dragons existed here. Mike sat down and looked at his plate, He found eggs, hash browns and two delicious looking pancakes that were covered in syrup. As soon as he eye'd the food his stomach grumbled. Smiling he grabbed his fork and knife and began to dig in. To say the taste was amazing was a disgrace to the food. It was as though sweet amazing delicious nirvana had graced his tongue. It was a good five minutes before he had finished his food. Sitting back, he rubbed his stomach and let out a burb and an excuse me as he allowed his food to settle. At that point Spike let out a burp of his own. But what surprised Mike was that Spike's burp was followed by a green flame about two feet long. When the flame dispersed there was a scroll left behind, one with a golden seal. "Hey Twi, you got a letter from the Princess." Spike said, patting his chest. Twilight immediately dropped her books and snatched the letter in her magic. Breaking the seal she opened and read the letter, her facial expression going from worry to excitement. "Mike, Princess Celestia wants to give you a tour of Canterlot. And she also want's you to meet her sister, Princess Luna." Twilight said, her smile even wider. "Maybe you can be Luna's next friend!!" 'Next friend? She must not get out much.' Mike thought to himself. "Ok, so uh, when do we go?" Mike asked. He wasn't in any rush as he had nothing to do anyway, but it was his understanding on earth that you didn't want to keep royalty waiting. He had been told that by an old friend who had been from Britain. "Well we have a few choices. We can take my old balloon, the train, or we could teleport. I'd advise we take the balloon or train as teleporting is always disconcerting for first timers." Twilight said as though she was reciting from a script. "Well, I mean I wouldn't mind trying teleportation. Sound's interesting." Mike said. He frowned slightly, knowing that at one point his wife had wondered the same thing when she was alive. "If you really want to then I guess we could. I'll need to get my crystal. The crystal allows me to perform spells that would normally take way too much magic, and it helps with long range teleportation, as it usually leaves me feeling exhausted without it." Twilight said as she moved toward a door behind her. "I'll be just a moment." * * * Mike stood uneasily on a balcony of Canterlot Castle as he tried to quell the nausea that had come about from the teleporting. It had felt like he had been stretched and squeezed through a drinking straw, and that didn't feel too great. Twilight looked at him with worry as he tried to control his dry heaving, his face green. "Mike are you ok?" she asked. "I-ugh-I'll be fine in a-blegh-second." He replied. After a good five minutes he stood up, the green from his face had receded a great deal and his nausea was beginning to cease. Teleporting was now on his list of worst ways to travel. Sure it was fast, but geez at what cost. Once he was good to go he followed Twilight into the castle, his jaw once again dropping in much the same way as it had when he had entered Twilights castle. This castle was built for the eye's. Everything from its lush, soft gold and purple carpets, to the dual night and day tapestries that where strung about the hall ways. What struck Mike the most was the windows. They where stained glass that would usually depict great feats. And so they did, but what confused Mike was that they all showed a pony that looked a hell of a lot like Twilight, and she was surrounded by other ponies who were depicted with a glow coming from jewelry that they were wearing. 'Maybe Twilight's a lot more important than just being a Princess.' Mike thought. Before he knew it they had come upon a large set of double doors. One side showed the sun, shining bright and glorious. The other showed the Moon upon a starry sky, where it's light beamed down on a small village of ponies happily staring at it. He had to admit, the artwork on the doors was a Masterpiece. Twilight however had seen the door multiple times and continued moving forward, opening the door using her magic. What Mike noticed upon entering what he figured was the Throne Room, was the Two Thrones at the back, one was occupied by Princess Celestia, and the other Mike guessed was Princess Luna. What had stopped him though was Princess Celestia herself. Princess Celestia had said she was the Princess of the sun, so Princess Luna had to be the Princess of the moon, and what he could see was exactly as such. Princess Luna's coat was a deep shade of blue, the same color of the first darkening hours of the night. Her mane shimmered and flowed behind her much like her sister's, but her's looked to embody the night sky itself, with dozen's of twinkling stars, and the same could be said for her tail, which he could see shimmering just behind her. It was a rather beautiful sight to Mike, but despite is love of the night, he far enjoyed the light of day, unless said light was waking him in the morning. "Is something wrong?" Celestia asked, her eyebrows raised in amusement. 'Crap she can read my thought's can't she.' Mike thought in panic. "U-Uh n-no, nothing's wrong." He replied, his face heating up in embarrassment. "Oh? So you weren't just staring at me for the past five minutes?" Celestia said with a small laugh. Mike's face heated up even more. He wanted to apologize, but at that moment he locked up, and could not say a word. "Well, seeing as Mike can no longer speak, I shall do so. As my letter stated, I would like to have you take a tour of Canterlot. Sister, how about you give him a tour hmm? I'm sure you would love to stretch your wings for a bit." Celestia said. "Of course dear sister. If that be thy wish then I shalt do it." Luna said, trying to contain her curiosity in the creature that was standing before her. "Well Mike, are you okay with my sister giving you a tour of our fair city?" Celestia asked. "I-I guess. Sure." Mike said, trying to mask his still flushed face. * * * It was later that evening when they had returned from the tour. There had been so many place's she had shown him, places Mike would love to visit if he had money. The entire tour itself however was more awkward than anything Mike had ever experienced. They barely talked at all while Princess Luna had shown him around. How was he suppose to be her "New Friend" if she wouldn't even speak to him. And even his attempts at small talk where dashed against the rocks as she continued to ignore him. These were his thoughts as he stood on one of the highest balconies of the castle, the moon shining down on him as he gazed at the stars that he could no longer recognize. "It's such a beautiful night out." Mike said to himself, unaware that he was being watched. "Tis truly magnificent is it not?" Luna said as she stepped up to the railing from behind him, startling him in the process. "P-Princess L-Luna!?" Mike stuttered. She had come out of nowhere, making him jump. "We are sorry. We didst not mean to frighten thee." Luna said. Mike had noticed earlier but now he was curious. "Why do you speak like that?" He asked. "Ah, we see that thou hast noticed our speech. Tis been a thousand years that we we're locked away within the moon, thus we have not hadst as much time to acclimate ourselves with the language ponies of today speak." Luna replied, staring up at the moon with a forlorn look. "We are curious Mr. Mike. What seest thou in our sister?" Luna asked, turning her gaze to him incredulously. "Y-Your sister? I-I'm not s-sure what your talking about." Mike said as he turned away. What most wouldn't know is that Mike, when afraid, bashful or otherwise embarrassed, he would resort to a stutter that he could have sworn he got rid of. "Oh? So dost thou not find our sister to thy liking? We had hoped otherwise. Though we hast been gone for many a moon, we still findeth time to enjoy the comforts of our mate. Said mate t'would be Twilight Sparkle, your, what did Tia call it again? Roommate?" Luna said. "Irregardless, our dear sister neglects said comforts of the flesh and heart, seeking to please herself with the running of Equestria, or in this previous case, Vacationing in your world, with which she hast grown so fond." "Sooo, you're trying to set me up with your sister?" Mike asked, he himself returning the incredulous look she had given him. "And ya know, somehow I'm not surprised Twilight would fall for you either, she seems the type to be obsessed with learning, and here you are, a great figure from the past." "Thou would'st be correct, though it hast changed this past year. I am rather fond of her." Luna replied with a smile. "So, if say, I decide to ask Celestia on a date, you're not going to mind? I'm sorry but I kind of find that hard to believe. I had a sister growing up, and any time she had a boyfriend, which would be I guess mate or coltfriend here right? I'd get pretty damn protective. It usually involved threats of bodily harm." Mike said smiling. He had always had good memories with his sister. "Nay Mr. Mike. We would not mind if thou decideth to pursue our sister. But, thou hast not said what thou thinkest of our dearest sister." Luna replied, a small small on her face as she looked about Canterlot. "W-Well, She's g-gorgeous to be honest. P-Probably the m-most beautiful w-woman I've ever met." Mike said, a blush rising to his face. "Woman? We dost not know what thoust means." Luna said, tilting her head much in the same way a puppy would. "Ah, I forget, it would be Mare wouldn't it. Haha, I feel like I may just have as much trouble with how you ponies speak just as much as you do Princess." Mike laughed. "Hmmm, T'would seem so. So, art thou going to ask our sister on a date?" Luna asked, giggling as Mike's face flushed red once more. "W-Well that depends. Consider me a friend, and I'll consider asking Celestia on a d-date." Mike replied with a smile. "Thou wouldst be friends with us?" Luna asked. "Sure, I think being friends with the Princess who creates the night sky would be pretty cool." "Well, then Mr. Mike, Friends it is." Luna replied with a smile. "Ok first things first though? No more Mr. stuff. It's just Mike." Author's Note All right, and thats the third chapter done. Sorry if that took so long everyone.
