Chapter 1- A strange beginning
“Another day come and gone…” sighed Thomas or “frisky Hope” “well… look at the bright side…” said Daxton. “At least we don’t have homework. For some, maybe at least. I got my work done instead of goofing off, unlike the rest of our class.
Thomas was 12 with brown hair, blue and orange glasses an orange watch and brown eyes. Conner also had brown hair but he had hazel eyes.
This day had almost been the same for Thomas as he did all the same things his class would always do like math French gym and all the other boring subjects like those. Truth is, he didn’t have interest in them for one reason, he didn’t have a clue on what he wanted to do with his life.
“Fire fighter? No too risky. Teacher? Nah too much work.” He thought.
As he waited for his bus he contemplated all his options for his future, but kept brushing the aside for one reason or another.
“893!” a teacher called. Shit, his bus!
He dashed on and sat down near his brother who, oddly enough, looked the similar if not the same, to him.
His brother was sitting with his friend playing an emulation on his friend’s computer.
“*sigh*. Same old bus ride” he thought.
You see, unlike most kids Thomas was different. He wanted an adventure, unlike any other! The catch, he wanted a different kind of adventure. An adventure in a different world or at least one where he was something else, not a human.
This was impossible. He knew that, but he didn’t want to admit it.
“Thomas” oh. He was home.
“Coming!” he said as he sprinted for the bus’s door.
Instead of running down the hill to his home, like he normally would, he decided to walk down instead.
That is, until he heard a voice in his head.
“Frisky.” The voice said.
“w-who are you.” He asked.
“That is of little relevance, as my world needs your help.” She said, or thought? I don’t know it’s confusing enough.
“Wait what world?”
“No time to explain, do you accept my call?”
He wasn’t sure what to think. Sure he wanted an adventure, but this was just strange.
“Um… sure, I guess?”
“Very well. You have made your choice. No turning back now.”
“Wait wh-“
All of a sudden, the clouds all spiraled and formed a… Tornado? And sucked Thomas rights of the ground!
“Help me!” was the only words he could get out before everything went black.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
“Oh my head. W-where am I?” he finally got up from that traumatizing experience.
Right away he noticed something strange. He didn’t feel the same, and, he was in so much pain.
“Ow did a tornado suck me up or somethi- oh wait that did happen.”
“But why do I feel so strange?”
Then he noticed. He didn’t have his glasses, but he could see just fine.
In fact he could also see where he was. On a hill near a lake with a tree to his left and the lake near his right.
There seemed to be some kind of dirt path underneath him that people would walk on.
“Great, on a path. Where am I though? This doesn’t look like anywhere on earth. To cartoonish.”
Then he realized. He was hungry.
He looked to his left to see that the tree had apples on it.
Now, he didn’t like apples but he was hungry so he needed something to eat.
“Ok. I need to stand up… ow that hurt. Just reach out and- what is that!”
He instantly freaked when he saw what his arm looked like. It was cyan and he was missing his hand.
“I-it kind of looks like an h-hoof. B-but how! Why?!”
“Someone’s overreacting much” that voice!
“Y-you did this, didn’t you, you sick being.”
“Yes and no. but, don’t you think you should see what happened to the rest of your body.”
“Wait what do mean the rest of my body?”
“Just see for yourself”
He dashed over to the pond and looked at the waters reflection only to see…
“W-what!? H-how?!”
By some odd chance he was turned into a pony.
“Why am I a pony?! You did this didn’t you?”
“Well… kinda. You see I did send you here but my magic sort of… turned you into… that”
He didn’t know how to feel. Mad? Happy? A mix of both?
“well I guess… welcome to equestria!”
