Rebirth of Darkness
She didn’t know why they loved her sister more? Was it because she controlled the sun? Was it because they thought she was more beautiful than her? Were they afraid of her night? Wasn’t she worthy of such praise? Why should she be treated any different than her sister Celestia?
‘I may have been defeated, by your student sister of mine, but I swear I shall return to bring eternal night upon Equestria!’ Nightmare moon thought to herself as she looked down on Equus from the moon. After being defeated by the Elements of Harmony, she was imprisoned on the moon and whatever magic possessed in her homeland was almost diminished. All she could do now was wander the emptiness of her moon, alone in isolation.
Nightmare had no one to talk to but her other half that still lived within her, but there wasn’t anypony for her to interact with. The moon was a wasteland… or so she thought.
“I refuse to be defeated like this!” The Lunar princess stomped her hooves on the moon’s surface, cracking the ground. Before she knew it, the surface began to collapse beneath her, taking Nightmare into a dark cavern of some kind that was buried under the surface.
“Where am I?!” She growled, looking everywhere with her teal eyes, but out of the darkness a raspy voice began to whisper to the lunar alicorn.
“Who are you my dear?” It asked as Nightmare felt a cold chill run down her spine.
“I’m Nightmare Moon!!! Show yourself you coward!!!” She shouted, waiting for a response from the voice. But before she could say anything, a frail bipedal being wearing a black coat with a white cane with pale white skin approached the mare slowly.
“There is… No need to rash now my dear… I’m but a weak old man whose only desire is to leave this wretched place.” The being answered as sarcastically before glaring at the Lunar pony for her disrespect. “If that’s how you treat the elderly, I’d hate to see how you treat kids.”
“Hold your tongue mortal! Do you know who I am?!”
“You’re a child compared to me… And who are you calling mortal?! I was a god! A Void Dweller whose power was unparalleled! I was responsible for the displacement of over two million souls! But I was imprisoned by those who saw me as a threat and locked me within this dusty old rock!” He said, slamming his cane against the ground in rage as the lunar alicorn looked at him with curiosity.
“Prytell, who are you exactly?” She asked, before the creature turned to her before chuckling as he placed his hand over his head.
“I’m the one who created a curse on an online message… I was the being who brought pain and despair to galaxies… I am the frost demon… Shadowblade!” He replied before approaching the mare with a intrigued look as he scanned her body. “You are the mare in the moon aren’t you?”
“Why do you ask creature! If you’re here to take over my kingdom, My rightful place in Equestria, than by the gods I shall smite you!” She declared as her horn flared, but before she could do anything Shadowblade raised his hand, before bowing to her.
“I merely ask, because our meeting has been long overdue… You see your a lot more special than you think my dear… You see eons ago I was young and powerful… I was treated as a god and was rightfully feared, but my fellow Void Dwellers didn’t approve of my decisions and challenged my rule… Even though my power rivaled most Void Dwellers… I could not overpower all of them and was defeated because of it, but I vowed that a being whose heart was black as night would free me and fulfill the prophecy of my glorious return.” He explained his tale and how he ended up in the same predicament as Nightmare, and eventually she began to put the pieces together.
“You mean to tell me that I’m the one who's suppose to release you from my moon?” She soon began to laugh at the frail Shadowblade as her wings opened up and was about to take flight.
“But don’t you desire to conquer Equestria?” Nightmare paused for a moment before looking back at him with a scowl. “Don’t be fooled by my appearance… This form you see me was created by those who imprisoned me here… I’m more powerful as well as handsome in my purest form.”
“Even if what you say is true… What do I get in return?” She asked.
“If you free me… I shall grant you power beyond your wildest dreams… And of course with by my side as my student. We shall have this universe under our fingers or hooves if you prefer my dear.” His offer was one that no one could refuse and even though she’d rather conquer the world on her own, but to have the whole universe at her hooves was much more pleasing. She would be seen as a god and everypony would worship her.
“Your offer is… Exceptional, but what do I have to do?”
“You must chant my five times while within this ritual circle that I’m currently drawing. From their the real fun can begin and the promise of ultimate power as well as the universe shall be within your grasp.” He answered with a smirk, licking his lips as he finished the ritual circle with three triangles. Nightmare hesitated before looking up at the withered old creature, before entering the circle with her final decision.
“Shadowblade… Shadowblade… Shadowblade.” Soon the ground itself began to shake as the circle glowed bright orange with Shadowblade smirking at the mare in front of him,
“Shadowblade… SHADOWBLADE!!!” She roared, but what happened next wasn’t what she expected. She felt all the magic within her drain as all the color from the ritual began to seep into the creature she had helped. What he had said was true that the seal containing his true form had been broken. His body was soon warped in both Nightmare’s magic the energy coming from the ceal.
“YES AFTER EONS OF WAITING… GATE BETWEEN WORLDS HAS OPENED ONCE AGAIN… AND THE EVENT THREE EONS PROPHESIED HAS COME TO PASS… THE DAY HAS COME… THE MULTIVERSE SHALL FINALLY BE MINE!!!” He shouted in joy as the entire moons blank color had morphed into a dark shade of orange and what Nightmare saw was no longer an old frail creature, but a young, strong, strapping bipedal demon holding not a cane, but white sword instead. Nightmare felt like she had been betrayed as the creature turned towards her with a blank expression. She expected him to finish her off with a swing from his blade, but the attack never came, but a hand extended out to her.

“Now why would I do that?” He voice didn’t sound dreary or depressing like it was before but young and cheerful that sounded smooth to the alicorn. “True… I had to use your magic to break the (Said chains) Containing my true form, but everything I promised you will be granted to you as promised… I only ask for one thing in return.”
“O-of course… Name it?” She said fearfully, she could literally feel the negative energy flowing from him as his grin widened by her words.
“It’s very simple my dear Nightmare… All you simply need to do is be…REBORN!!!” With a flick of his fingers black tendrils grabbed hold of Nightmare’s legs and wings, hoisting her up to eye level with Shadowblade. “I can promise you that you’ll enjoy this very much Nightmare~”
But before she could respond, Shadowblade planted his lips over Nightmare’s, causing her blush intensely as her eyes widened in shock. Never in her wildest dreams would anypony or being would ever kiss her. A part of her wanted him to cease his actions, but her body began to betray her as she felt a strange sensation flowing through her. Eventually they parted lips as she began to gasp for air while Shadowblade chuckled.
“Now that you’ve had a normal kiss from a god… I can begin to transfer my dark powers into you hot stuff~” He soon kissed her again, but this time his tongue slipped into her mouth, but what happened next something unlike anything she felt before as magic began to flow through her once again. After ending their kiss Shadowblade observed as Nightmare’s body began to change as she moaned from the sheer pleasure transformation. Soon a smirk was plastered across her face her helmet fell off a her limbs morphed into humanoid like hands. The tendrils that held her in place began to evaporate into a light blue mist that began to form armor and lingerie on her body.
“This power… It’s magnificent… This sensation is driving me insane!!! I can’t stop this feeling of lust… Please ravage me! Fuck me!” She growled while Shadowblade smirked at the new Nightmare before him.
“Than come here and I can show you what true pleasure from a god feels like~” He smirked as he motioned her to come with his finger. One thing was certain that both Shadowblade and Nightmare were going to have a very long night together on the moon, before moving on to the next phase of Shadowblade’s plan.
Ruins of Canterlot
Celestia never thought he would have broken free from his imprisonment… Twilight and her friends were defeated as four of her greatest advisories stood over her triumphantly. King Sombra, the tyrant of the Crystal empire, Queen Chrysalis of the Changelings, Lord Tirek the ruler of Tartarus and the one leading them all… Discord, the master of Chaos and disharmony himself.
“Oh, this has been so much fun! Don’t you all agree boys and gal?” They laughed in agreement as they watched Celestia try to stand up against her foes, but soon collapsed to the ground as they laughed once more. She looked back at her student with sorrow as tears began to escape from her eyes.
“Forgive me… Twilight… I have failed you as both your mentor and Princess.” She said, while Twilight reached for her hoof and smiled back at her teacher for the last time. Celestia could tell that this was the end for all ponykind.
“Urgh… Enough of all the sappy boredom… Tirek, I believed I promised you could have Celestia’s magic all to yourself?” Discord reminded the centaur as he trotted towards her with his hands cupped.
“I’ve waited a long time for this Princess… This time, there isn’t anypony here to save you or your precious ponies.” Right before he could start absorbing her magic, the sun was soon blocked by a black sphere in the sky, shrouding the land in darkness as only a beam of orange light was shining in front of Discord’s cohorts. Soon two figures landed across everypony as Sombra and Chrysalis glared at the duo that had suddenly arrived unannounced, but Discord looked unfazed the two strangers that had entered his chaotic world.
“I thought you said that their wouldn’t be any interferences here Discord!” Sombra barked at the draconequus who simply ignored him as a familiar face smirked at him.
With a loud gasp Discord grinned at the sight of Nightmare Moon herself, in a new form. “If it isn’t little Lulu… It’s been such a long time since we’ve last encountered each other… Oh, who’s your friend? A new lap dog you managed to follow you out of pity?”
“Your so very funny… You remind me a lot of that God of Balance that has gotten on my nerves in the past. Although I’m a bit surprised to find that four of Equestria’s greatest villains have all assembled here in one place. Saves me a lot of trouble searching for them.” Shadowblade remarked with a light chuckle as everypony including Celestia looked confused, she couldn’t take her eyes off her little sister.

“Ah, a fellow comedian, it’s a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, but if you two don’t mind, we’re in the middle of destroying Celestia and the elements of harmony. Perhaps we could take a rain check.” Discord smirked before snapping his fingers as rain clouds formed over their heads and lightning and rain tried to strike the two down, but Shadowblade simply waved his hands and the clouds dispersed and the lightning soon struck Tirek, forcing him to release Celestia from his grasp. An teal blue aura formed around Nightmare’s hands as Twilight, Celestia and her friends were teleported next to Shadowblade and herself.
“I shall deal with all of you personally, but first Master Shadowblade has a few words to share with the inhabitants of this world.” Nightmare explained before looking up at Shadowblade as he began to levitate himself off the ground.
“Urgh… One thing I truly despise the most about unwanted guests is the fact that they ruin all of my chaotic fun!” Discord snapped his fingers ordering Sombra and Chrysalis to attack the frost demon, but before they could even get near him, his hand unleashed a black mist that struck down the Changeling Queen and The Shadow King with ease.
“You know… Discord was it? I have to admit that I never thought you of all beings here in Equestria would assemble some of the most ruthless, heartless, freaks of nature on the planet with ease. How did you do it?” Shadowblade asked, trying to humor the draconequus who simply held a smug grin.
“Well I would tell, but I think Tirek has a few things to say about it?” Discord smirked as a large, massive red hand grabbed the frost demon and pulled him away from the draconequus who waved his hand goodbye.
“You were a fool to come here and challenge us… Now you’ll pay the price with all of your magic!” Tirek warned as his horns glowed, trying to take his energy, but for some odd reason, it wasn’t working. “WHY CAN’T I TAKE YOUR MAGIC?!”
“Fool? The only fools here are you and those other two that attacked me! My magic is that of a deity and you are in no position to threaten a GOD!!!” He roared, unleashing a wave of energy from his body, freeing him from the centaur’s grasp, before striking his stomach with his fist, causing Tirek to spit out blood as he was sent flying into one of the floating houses created by Discord’s magic. The Draconequus could only smile in amusement at the sight of the frost demon’s display of power, but that was only the tip of the iceberg.
“Bravo! On core, On core!”
“Master Shadowblade, can I possibly eliminate this fool for mocking your very presence?!” Nightmare asked, bowing to her new lover and master.
“It has been far too long since I’ve had been in my true form and it’ll take time for me to regain my full power and I would like to try to get back into the swing of things again. Now as for these bastards… I think I can make use of these three.” Shadowblade said, cracking his knuckles while Discord tilted his head in confusion before letting out a hearty laugh.
“Oh, that’s so cute! I didn’t think you of all ponies would surrender yourself to a complete stranger Luna, but that does explain the new appearance. As for your lap dog here… it’s just so hilarious that he honestly thinks that not only he’s a deity, but that he’ll have control over my minions.” He laughed again before snapping his fingers again as two large buildings appeared next to Shadowblade and slammed against him with full force.
“You twisted bastard! Do you honestly think you’re superior to my master?!” Luna growled as she began to worry about her new lover. For the first time, she felt true happiness that the name Nightmare had soon dropped, returning to her original name once more. She was no longer alone and she wouldn’t allow anypony to stop her and her love from seizing control over the multiverse.
“Well he certainly isn’t doing anything anymore now is he?” Discord said before snapping his fingers again, a glass of chocolate make soon appeared in his paws and began to sip from it, but the two houses slowly began to turn to dust as Shadowblade smirked at the draconequus who simply rolled his eyes at him. “Very impressive… Although I still doubt that you're some kind of deity. If you truly were a god, then why am I still here? I’m pretty sure a god would have erased in an instant.”
“You’re definitely right about one thing… Would have ended this right now if my powers had fully returned, but I’ve only been free for a day after having a long sexy night with Lulu over there.” He said, winking at her as she began to blush intensely. “Still it’ll be quite sometime before I can fully recover my powers, but in the meantime I think can have some real fun with you.”
“You are truly foolish if you plan to tangle with the Spirit of Disharmony himself, but I’d like to see you try to defeat me, Shadowblade.” Discord smirked at the frost demon who simply smirked back at the draconequus with glee. Two beings of great power stood before each other as Celestia and her student watched in horror at the sight of the conflict.
“L-luna… You have to stop this?”
“Forgive me sister, but I’m afraid that you aren’t the one giving orders to me or anypony anymore. It’s time for you and me to let go and follow somepony else for a change. Shadowblade shall lead our Equestria to a golden age of great power. I can promise you that you’ll come to love him as I have.” Luna stated as she gave a small smile towards her sister and the ponies before turning her gaze back towards the battle.
Discord’s grin soon transformed to that of a scowl as Shadowblade managed to counter every attack he threw at him and what’s worse is that he was running out of magic while Shadowblade was only toying with him and that frustrated him more than anything. He was the one who’d usually play games against his foes before finishing them off, but this nobody that arrived out of the blue was treating this as if it was a game.
“I’VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!!! You think you're sooooo tough just because you claim to be some kind of god! Well I have news for you! I’m Discord, the master of Chaos and no one out matches ME!” The Draconequus roared in rage as he fired a fully powered chaotic blast from his paws while Shadowblade countered it with an orange magic beam from his right hand.
“YOUR TIME IS DONE DISCORD!!! NOW GO TO HELL YOU BASTARD!!!” Shadowblade roared out in rage as he doubled the energy to his attack and began to push Discord’s blast back. He couldn’t do anything against Shadowblade’s attack after exhausting all his power into that single attack and before he knew it, his body began to change extremely.
Soon the chaotic world vanished as Sombra, Chrysalis and Tirek fell in from of Shadowblade and Luna. The trio gasped at the sight of Discord’s drastic change. “My new queen of darkness and I needed a new throne. So tell me what you all think?”
“T-that can’t be possible?” Chrysalis stated as she began to back away from the frost demon.
“What are you going to do to us?!” Sombra asked.
“Well you have two choices now. One is to join me and become my newest generals of my universal conquest! Or be erased unlike Discord here.” He said, patting his new throne.
“Shadowblade! What does this mean for my little ponies?!” Celestia asked, fearing for the worst.
“Woah, hold for a moment Hot Flanks! I’m having a very important meeting with these guys right now.” He stated before looking back at the three villains who looked at each other before looking back.
“W-we’ll… Join you.” Tirek replied quietly as Shadowblade and Luna simply smirked at them,
“I’m sorry, but Master Shadowblade and I didn’t quite hear you?” Luna asked as the three growled in response.
“We’ll join you!” They all said together as they bowed before them.
“Excellent choice, but I think it’s time for you three to get UPGRADED!” He said snapping his fingers as tendril have grabbed hold of both the dark unicorn, changeling and Centaur and began to wrap them in plant like pods. “Take a nice long nap you three… By the time you wake up, you’ll see things my way.”
Shadowblade and Luna soon approached Celestia and the ponies calmly unlike they did with the villains and gave them each a comforting smile. “Now I believe we were discussing your surrender Celestia.” Shadowblade stated bluntly as the sun princess eyes widened in shock, before glaring back at the frost demon.
“I never said, I would surrender to you!” Before she could finish Celestia, as well as, Luna and Shadowblade vanished with a snap of his fingers to the castle of the two sisters. “W-why did you bring us here?”
“Now listen Celestia as you may have noticed, but your sister had recently made love to me the previous night on the moon, but quite frankly it just isn’t enough. Anyways I’m going to allow you to make a choice right now. You can walk away and never return to Equestria again…” He snapped his fingers again as a portal to another dimension appeared before her. “Or… You can have a good time with me while Lulu goes to… Release some tension on that student of yours. Either way I’m still going to get what I want in the end.”
Celestia was cornered, she would be forced to leave Equestria to be in control of a maniac or she’d be forced to make love to a creature. But her ponies come first. “F-fine… I’ll… I’ll stay, but only if you promise that no harm will come to my little ponies?!”
“You have my word… After all I have no grudge against you Hot Flanks. My goal is to control the multiverse, but we can discuss that afterwards.” He said as he placed his hand on her ass and squeezed it lightly, causing the mare to moan in response.
“W-when do we start?” She asked, nervously as the frost demon looked her in the eyes.
“Perhaps in your bedroom?”
