"Well girls who do y'all think we should help find their cutiemarks now?" Apple Bloom ask her friends after just having helped another foal find their cutie mark. Sweetie Belle shrugged having no pony particularly in mind. But Scootaloo did, and she knew it was time to help her. She finally felt ready to help her...her orphan sister. She wasn't her real blood sister of course but she was the closest thing to one just like Rainbow Dash was except that Scoots was older that her while Dash was older than Scoots.
"Actually I... I do have somepony in mind. Um... just uh... just follow me girls." Scoots said. And off she went with her best friends following after her confused yet very curious. Scoot had lead them to the hospital for some reason. And, after whispering to Nurse Red Heart for a bit, she lead the girls off once again. She took a turn and went down to the hall way labeled "Special Patients". Now Sweetie and Bloom were really confused. Wondering why in the hay they were going down this hall. Scoots also put on headphones for some reason.
"She's in here OK. Now er... try not to um.. to uh scare her OK. Oh and girls? Whatever you do try not to gasp or say anything rude OK girls? And don't make her cry either." Scootaloo said. The other girls nodded and Scoots opened the door slowly.
"Who's there!?" A young unicorn filly shouted, jumping up and charged her horn with some magic. Her voice had a hypnotic tone to it making the confused Sweetie and A.B feel dazed. She had a beautiful, flowing star filled night mane. Her horn was rainbow colored. And she only had one bright pink hoof and the other looked like...a blue griffin claw? Her teeth were really sharp, rainbow colored fangs. And a big, blue blanket covered her lower half, preventing the girls any sneak peeks at what was under the blue bulging blanket.
"It's just me Night Song, you can calm down. I also brought a few friends, too. Could you...maybe...show them your lower half please?" Scootaloo asked her gently. Night Song reluctantly took off her blanket slowly and reviled her lower half to the other girls. Underneath she had a long snake tail with wing-like fins on the middle. She also had a dolphin-like tail at the end. Her scales were a bright, sparkly sea blue that shimmered every time the light shone on them. When Sweetie Belle looked up at Night Song she also noticed that she had huge rainbow wings. She didn't have a cutie mark either. And...she was also blind. Sweetie stared into Night Song's eyes and into her soul, inside Sweetie could've swore she saw a beautiful ocean shore with fillies and colts all playing together and dancing while they sang. Then Night Song blushed, feeling scared and shy from all the staring and unwanted attention she was getting. She closed her eyes and started singing softly. It was the same song the little fillies and colts in her soul where singing. The song made Sweetie Bell and A.B really sleepy and dizzy. Was it just her or was the floor getting closer? Then Their world went pitch black.
The Next Day, Before School
OK, so I've already told Miss Cheerly that we're gonna have a new student. It'll be easier to help her find her cutie mark there so we can have her with us most of the time. Though she doesn't know that Night isn't a normal filly. Scoots told Sweetie and A.B while walking back and forth. The girls just nodded and walked out of their club house. Nurse Red Heart trotted up with Night Song slithering beside her with a backpack on. After giving Song a kiss on her head and a hug Nurse Red Heart left and the three fillies started their long walk to school. Night looked happy, she was just slithering right along with them.
"Would you guys like to ride on my tail? I can go really fast if you want." Night Song said with her hypnotic tone giving the girls a big, sharp toothy grin.
"OK I guess. That sounds like fun." Sweetie Belle said, hopping on her tail. The other two girls agreed and hopped on as well.
"OK hold on. One. Two. Three!" She said and took off. She was so fast. Even faster than Rainbow Dash! Night lowered her upper pony half almost to the ground and went even faster. The other three girl were laughing and shouting. It was just so much fun. She opened her huge wings and flapped them, giving her bursts of speed. In less than three minutes she had reached their school. But to the girls it'd felt like an hour of accelerating speed.
"That was so much fun!" Sweetie said, giggling. Everyone agreed and, still smiling and laughing, they walked into school. D.T trotted up to them smirking.
"What is that?" She asked rudely pointing a hoof at Night Song.
"I'm Night Song." Night replied, unaffected by the rudeness of what Diamond Tiara had just said.
"Wow! The monster even talks! And it's a blank flank."Diamond said laughing.
"Do not call me an "it" I am a "she" and I'm not a monster I'm a filly." Night Song growled, her words practically dripping with venom. D.T stopped laughing.
"Pfft, you? A filly? As if you filly-wanna-be." Tiara said glaring at Night.
"Leave her alone Tiara!" Sweetie said standing by Night Song.
"Yea, leave Scoots a' lil sis alone D.T." Apple Bloom said.
Sh-sorry I mean it's that cry baby's little sister? Suuurrree. As if I believe you. Tiara said rolling her eyes.
"Girls! Class is starting!" Miss Cheerly shouted from the doorway. They all trotted and slithered to class glaring at each other.
