Being The Only One Is Sometimes A Bad Thing
Chapter 1: Mission For Peace
Dr.Wolf and Discord both walked through the mountainous area with Discord continuing to complain and wine. He asked Dr.Wolf for the twenty seventh time in a row "When will we get there?" Dr.Wolf knew Discord was tired and weakened from the trip but it was only a little bit a walk until they reached Garble's house.
Dr.Wolf told Discord "How about we take a small break to rest our feet?" Discord felt a small relief hit him as he sat on a rock. Dr.Wolf laid a picnic basket he carried with him and pulled out some peanut butter sandwiches his wife made earlier. Discord pulled out of the basket cucumber sandwiches Fluttershy made him and began eating. The two ate and chatted about stuff.
Dr.Wolf asked "So anything new with Fluttershy?" Discord placed the remainder of his cucumber sandwiches in the basket since he was full.
"Nothing new, just same old stuff. Although Spike and Applejack's brother are really cool. Why do you ask?" Discord replied curious as to why Dr.Wolf would ask such an odd question. Discord grabbed a drink of chocolate milk in the form of a milk carton
Dr.Wolf replied "I thought you'd tell Fluttershy your true feelings by now." This caused Discord to spit take.
"True feelings? What do you think I'm hiding? I'm her best friend nothing more." Discord said as he failed to notice his cheeks turning pink. Dr.Wolf noticed the blush forming on Discord's face but decided pushing the subject further would cause more problems then it would solve.
Dr.Wolf packed the remaining peanut butter sandwiches into the picnic basket , picked it up and said "okay it'd shouldn't be too far from Garble's house, we'll just continue walking." and started walking again. Discord continued walking while making a mental note to thank Dr.Wolf for the lunch break. After only five minutes of walking they saw a cave like house while Garble was waiting for them.
Garble said "What took you two so long?" Dr.Wolf mentally rolled his eyes at this. Seems even when he wanted peace Garble was still rude. Discord was starting to growl in anger. Garble had just asked the rudest question.
Dr.Wolf just touched Discord's shoulder to calm him down and spoke "Sorry about being late, we had to rest for a small bit."
Garble said "That's okay." and invited the two inside for some rest. The three chatted for a bit while Garble made some tea. Garble placed two cups of tea on the table and sat with a bowl of sapphires which to dragons tasted like brownies.
Dr.Wolf was confused "Garble, did you forget to make your own cup of tea?"
Garble replied "I already had a cup of tea this morning. Figured I needed to relax for this meeting." Garble then placed the bowl of sapphires on the table and asked "Want some?"
Dr.Wolf replied "no thanks, I already had some peanut butter sandwiches my wife made me."
Discord said "And I ate some Cucumber sandwiches Fluttershy made."
Garble said "Well, more for me then." He then began to eat the sapphires. Time began to pass as the trio chatted about a lot of things. Soon Dr.Wolf yawned. It seemed the trip to Garble's place took a lot of energy out of him.
Dr.Wolf said "Well we should be heading back. Thanks for the hospitality Garble." He then turned to Discord and said "You can teleport yourself home Discord. I'll just take a small nap and then I'll be headed home."
Discord said "Okay. See you." He then snapped his talons and teleported. Dr.Wolf was so tired he didn't even notice a look of slight disappointment cross Garble's face. Dr.Wolf curled into the couch as his eyes began to close and he drifted into a deep slumber.
So deep was his slumber he couldn't feel Garble slowly lift him up off the couch. Garble smirked while looking at the young canine and spoke "Such a kind soul. I feel bad about what I'm plan for you. But you know how we dragons are sometimes." He then carried Dr.Wolf to a small room like cage with a bed and placed Dr.Wolf in the bed. After making sure Dr.Wolf was comfortable he slowly closed and locked the gate to the cage and went to a room. He sat at a writing desk and began writing a letter which went as such:
To Former Lord Torch
I've found the one. The unique being that legends talked about. I have him in my grasp and he will not be escaping anytime soon. I hope this means you'll set me free from my dad's debt. I hope this being makes Ember a happy dragon lord. After all, he is going to be her husband isn't he?

After the letter was written he placed it in a envelop and took it outside his home. He gazed at another dragon, handed the letter to him and said "Take this to Torch, it's for his eyes only." After the other dragon left Garble went back inside and thought "Garble, your father would be proud of you for accomplishing what he failed to do." He then looked at the hallway leading to the cage he placed Dr.Wolf in and thought "If that wolf wakes up early I'm going to have to explain a lot."
