Banoi… A tropical paradise far off the coast of the Equestrian kingdom. Much too far for Unicorn magic to reach, and too great of a distance for Pegasus to fly, the only way to access the island is by boat. Currently in route for the island was the ever-so popular cruise ship, The Seahorse, owned and operated by the Flim Flam Brothers. Riding upon the large vessel with his head hanging over the silver railing that kept him from falling to a watery demise was Raven, a blue alicorn known amongst the royal family for his mastery over an ancient magic lost to Equestria. He was taller than the average stallion and wore a red t-shirt and a pair of white shorts. His gray hair was mess and his tail swayed in the wind as he fought the urge to throw up over the edge of the ship.

“Boats… Why did it have to be boats?” He asked, feeling the pressure building up in his throat again.

“Don’t you have a spell that can fix your little condition?” A voice spoke out behind him. Raven lifted his head enough to where his emerald eyes were looking over his shoulder. Behind him was a light-gray mare wearing a white sundress that fit her body nicely, showing off her curves. Her hair flowed down the sides of her face in colors of a dark black and bright green. On her back was a set of gray wings that matched her gray skin color and on her head was a straw hat that help shade her face from the sun.

“Vanessa… You know that’s not how my mag-” Suddenly, Raven let out an ‘urp’ and his head shot back down to the water as the contents of his stomach was violently released from his mouth into the ocean below. This lasted a couple of seconds as Raven felt his stomach acid burn the inside of his throat and mouth, causing his to vomit once again.

Vanessa sighed at the sight before her. “The Mighty Wizard of the royal family… Defeated by something as lowly as Sea-Sickness… You are something,” she chuckled. Raven only glared at her before he quickly returned to empting his morning breakfast into the water.

“Oh, please, Vanessa, dear, do take it easy on him…” Another voice said. Vanessa looked over and saw a gray mare with a darker shade of gray hair strolling over to them. She wore a purple t-shirt that was loose fitting and a pair of black shorts with a white treble clef embedded on the right side that fit snuggly on her thighs.

“Oh, Octavia, you know I’m only teasing,” Vanessa said with a smile.

Octavia sighed as she moved over to pat Raven on his back. “It alright. You’ll be fine,” she said in a soothing tone.

Raven’s stomach finally settled down and he moved back from the railing, looking towards Octavia with a small smile. “Thanks.”

She simply nodded in response, then looked up and frowned slightly. “Here she comes…”

Raven looked at her with confusion, then followed her purple eyes to the subject of her displeasement. What he saw was a white blur moving towards him in an incredible speed. Before anypony could do anything, Vinyl collided into Raven, sending them both to the floor. Raven groaned at the impact and looked at the white mare who was lying on top of him. She wore a white tank top and light blue shorts with her cutie mark sowed into the right side.

“Whoops. Had a little trouble with the brakes,” she said with a smile. Raven only rolled his eyes as both Vanessa and Octavia lifted them up.

“Vinyl, what in the name of Celestia were you thinking when you decided to charge at us like that?” Octavia asked with slight aggravation, placing her hands on her hips.

“Well, Octi, I just heard that we’re almost there and I wa- LOOK!” Vinyl said, pointing her hand beyond them. The three friends turned around and saw what she was pointing at. Not far in the distance was an island covered in lush, green trees and small bungalows that spotted across the beach side. Beyond the treeline was a huge hotel with window that were tinted blue.

“Wow… Now isn’t that a sight to behold!” Raven said, smiling as he moved towards the bow of the ship. His hands can to rest on the silver safety bar as he took in the beauty of the island. Then he turned to his friends and gave an even bigger smile. “I guess that’s where we’ll be staying for the next week,” he said, motioning his head towards the island behind him.
Before he could do anything, Raven found himself in Vinyl’s embrace, squeezing herself closely to Raven’s body. He could feel his face warm up as Vinyl spoke. “Thank you for bring us along!”

“Of course! I figured you two kinda needed a break from Ponyville,” He said with a smile. Vinyl let him go and brushed her blue hair out of her face as she stepped back. For a slight second, Raven thought he saw a blush on her face, but his thoughts were quickly interrupted as his stomach started to feel queasy again. He clutched his stomach and looked up at the others. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go get rid of today’s lunch…” Raven took off towards the edge of the boat and threw his head over.

Vanessa moved towards the same spot Raven had just been and rested her arms on the railing, letting out a sigh. “This is going to be the best week ever…”

-Meanwhile, On the Island of Banoi, Deep in the Island’s Jungle-

An alarm was going off in a building buried deep in the jungle. Inside, red lights flashed illuminating the corridor. White walls were covered in splatters of blood, bodies slumped against the walls, missing arms and legs, even parts of their faces. Deeper within the building, in a room that was closed by a wooden door, a stallion at the height of 5ft wearing a lab coat covered in blood and black pants paced around in the room, carrying files that were labeled “Experiment: Revive”.

“Come on! There must be a way to stop this!” He said, flipping through the pages in the files. A roar rumbled through the room, startling the stallion. “Oh no.” He quickly gathered up all the notes and rushed towards the door and flung it open. He was immediately tackled by another body, knocking him to the floor. The body climbed on top of him, letting out a low growl. The stallion tried to knock it off him, but his strength was outmatched. The body let a howl before dropping its head onto the stallion, taking a chunk out of him. The stallion screamed, his arms flailing, but his struggling soon died down as blood began to cover the floor under him. In his hands were the files he was so desperate to find, covered in red.
