//-------------------------------------------------------// Dead Pony Island -by A Torn-Up Note- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival //-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival Banoi… A tropical paradise far off the coast of the Equestrian kingdom. Much too far for Unicorn magic to reach, and too great of a distance for Pegasus to fly, the only way to access the island is by boat. Currently in route for the island was the ever-so popular cruise ship, The Seahorse, owned and operated by the Flim Flam Brothers. Riding upon the large vessel with his head hanging over the silver railing that kept him from falling to a watery demise was Raven, a blue alicorn known amongst the royal family for his mastery over an ancient magic lost to Equestria. He was taller than the average stallion and wore a red t-shirt and a pair of white shorts. His gray hair was mess and his tail swayed in the wind as he fought the urge to throw up over the edge of the ship. “Boats… Why did it have to be boats?” He asked, feeling the pressure building up in his throat again. “Don’t you have a spell that can fix your little condition?” A voice spoke out behind him. Raven lifted his head enough to where his emerald eyes were looking over his shoulder. Behind him was a light-gray mare wearing a white sundress that fit her body nicely, showing off her curves. Her hair flowed down the sides of her face in colors of a dark black and bright green. On her back was a set of gray wings that matched her gray skin color and on her head was a straw hat that help shade her face from the sun. “Vanessa… You know that’s not how my mag-” Suddenly, Raven let out an ‘urp’ and his head shot back down to the water as the contents of his stomach was violently released from his mouth into the ocean below. This lasted a couple of seconds as Raven felt his stomach acid burn the inside of his throat and mouth, causing his to vomit once again. Vanessa sighed at the sight before her. “The Mighty Wizard of the royal family… Defeated by something as lowly as Sea-Sickness… You are something,” she chuckled. Raven only glared at her before he quickly returned to empting his morning breakfast into the water. “Oh, please, Vanessa, dear, do take it easy on him…” Another voice said. Vanessa looked over and saw a gray mare with a darker shade of gray hair strolling over to them. She wore a purple t-shirt that was loose fitting and a pair of black shorts with a white treble clef embedded on the right side that fit snuggly on her thighs. “Oh, Octavia, you know I’m only teasing,” Vanessa said with a smile. Octavia sighed as she moved over to pat Raven on his back. “It alright. You’ll be fine,” she said in a soothing tone. Raven’s stomach finally settled down and he moved back from the railing, looking towards Octavia with a small smile. “Thanks.” She simply nodded in response, then looked up and frowned slightly. “Here she comes…” Raven looked at her with confusion, then followed her purple eyes to the subject of her displeasement. What he saw was a white blur moving towards him in an incredible speed. Before anypony could do anything, Vinyl collided into Raven, sending them both to the floor. Raven groaned at the impact and looked at the white mare who was lying on top of him. She wore a white tank top and light blue shorts with her cutie mark sowed into the right side. “Whoops. Had a little trouble with the brakes,” she said with a smile. Raven only rolled his eyes as both Vanessa and Octavia lifted them up. “Vinyl, what in the name of Celestia were you thinking when you decided to charge at us like that?” Octavia asked with slight aggravation, placing her hands on her hips. “Well, Octi, I just heard that we’re almost there and I wa- LOOK!” Vinyl said, pointing her hand beyond them. The three friends turned around and saw what she was pointing at. Not far in the distance was an island covered in lush, green trees and small bungalows that spotted across the beach side. Beyond the treeline was a huge hotel with window that were tinted blue. “Wow… Now isn’t that a sight to behold!” Raven said, smiling as he moved towards the bow of the ship. His hands can to rest on the silver safety bar as he took in the beauty of the island. Then he turned to his friends and gave an even bigger smile. “I guess that’s where we’ll be staying for the next week,” he said, motioning his head towards the island behind him. Before he could do anything, Raven found himself in Vinyl’s embrace, squeezing herself closely to Raven’s body. He could feel his face warm up as Vinyl spoke. “Thank you for bring us along!” “Of course! I figured you two kinda needed a break from Ponyville,” He said with a smile. Vinyl let him go and brushed her blue hair out of her face as she stepped back. For a slight second, Raven thought he saw a blush on her face, but his thoughts were quickly interrupted as his stomach started to feel queasy again. He clutched his stomach and looked up at the others. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go get rid of today’s lunch…” Raven took off towards the edge of the boat and threw his head over. Vanessa moved towards the same spot Raven had just been and rested her arms on the railing, letting out a sigh. “This is going to be the best week ever…” -Meanwhile, On the Island of Banoi, Deep in the Island’s Jungle- An alarm was going off in a building buried deep in the jungle. Inside, red lights flashed illuminating the corridor. White walls were covered in splatters of blood, bodies slumped against the walls, missing arms and legs, even parts of their faces. Deeper within the building, in a room that was closed by a wooden door, a stallion at the height of 5ft wearing a lab coat covered in blood and black pants paced around in the room, carrying files that were labeled “Experiment: Revive”. “Come on! There must be a way to stop this!” He said, flipping through the pages in the files. A roar rumbled through the room, startling the stallion. “Oh no.” He quickly gathered up all the notes and rushed towards the door and flung it open. He was immediately tackled by another body, knocking him to the floor. The body climbed on top of him, letting out a low growl. The stallion tried to knock it off him, but his strength was outmatched. The body let a howl before dropping its head onto the stallion, taking a chunk out of him. The stallion screamed, his arms flailing, but his struggling soon died down as blood began to cover the floor under him. In his hands were the files he was so desperate to find, covered in red. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Banoi's Welcome //-------------------------------------------------------// A Banoi's Welcome When the boat docked at a wooden pier, the walk path was lowered and ponies began the pour out of the vessel. The last ones off was Raven and the mares, each one carrying their respectable suitcase. “I’m telling you, you should let me carry your luggage,” Raven said to Vanessa, who was carrying the largest suitcase. “Stop trying to be a gentle stallion, Raven. Both you and I know that you can’t carry my stuff,” Vanessa responded, staring at the blue alicorn in front of her. “At least let me try!” Raven demanded, dropping his own bag. Vanessa rose an eyebrow at him in amusement while Raven continued to give her a pleading look. Sighing in defeat, Vanessa put her bag on the ground and Raven instantly grabbed ahold of the strap and began to lift. The bag, however, was much heavier than he truly expected and, though he tried with all his might, Raven couldn’t raise the baggage of the ground. A snicker came from behind Vanessa as both Octavia and Vinyl watched the scene unfold. Octavia nudged Vinyl and gave a stern glare, causing the unicorn to stop. “Alright, Raven, you tried,” Vanessa said after a few minutes. “NO! I got this!” Raven struggled out, his face slowly turning red. Much to the others surprise, the bag eventually began to raise off the ground. But it didn’t go far before it was dropped back onto the ground. Raven let out a couple of huffs and puffs, wiping his hand across his forehead. “Well, I’m quite impressed that you were able to even lift the bag,” Vanessa said with a smile. “You’ve been working out?” Raven only nodded in response as he was still out of breath. Vanessa picked up her bag, then moved over next to Raven and gave his a kiss on cheek before walking down the walkway. Raven smiled as his face warmed up. “Hey, could you carry my bag?” Raven turned around and saw Vinyl standing before him with a smile on her face, holding up her own light blue suitcase. Behind her, Octavia was shaking her head in disapproval. “Of course…” Raven said, with a small smile. -Some time later, In room 604 at Banoi’s Getaway Hotel- The door to the room flung open as the group stepped in, Raven being in the back, carrying both his bag and Vinyl’s. He set them both by the door, then stretch himself out, popping his back into place. Then he turned to get a look at the room, which was a nice, big open space that would allow four bodies in the space. There was two large beds against a wall. Beside both beds were small tables, both carrying a lamp. To the opposite of the beds was a T.V. screen, which sat upon a wooden entertainment center. To the left of that was a desk with another lamp on it and to the right was a sliding door which led to a balcony outside. Raven took a look to his right and saw another brown, wooden door, which he figured led to the bathroom. Raven let out a sigh, moving his body towards the bed in front of him, which he flopped onto, face first. He felt the pressure of another body sitting on the bed next to his legs, then it laid down on his body, pushing him further into the mattress. He opened his eyes and found that Vanessa had lied down on top of him. A small snoring sound came from her, then a chuckle from the other two mares. Raven wiggled underneath in an attempt to remove the body off him. “Get off me, please.” “But you as comfy as a pillow,” Vanessa responded. Raven was about to respond when he felt more bodies lie down on top of him. “You know, she right. You are extremely comfy,” Vinyl said, letting out a sigh as she wiggled her own body. “Your wings are like clouds. So soft,” Octavia said, nestling her head into Raven’s wings. Raven sighed as the three mares made themselves comfy on top of him. Then he looked out of the corner of his eye and saw a pamphlet on one of the tables. Using his magic, he levitated to where he could read it. “‘Nighttime Festivities’?” Raven raised a brow at the title, then he began to read it over. “‘Tonight’s festivity includes an all access to the hotel’s bars, a feast supplied by Banoi’s Finest Chefs, and a DJ starring the ever-so-popular TheLivingTombstone?’ This sounds like fun.” He then moved the pamphlet over the head of one of the mares on top of him. “What do you think?” He felt the bodies move, the pamphlet removed from his magic grasp, heard some low whispers, then Vinyl spoke up. “We three mares of the Blake Table have came to an unanimous decision.” There was a short pause before the three mares all said their answer together. “Of course!” -Later That Night, Outside the front of the Hotel- A stallion stumbled across the paved ground towards staircase that led upwards. In his hand was a bottle, which he took a swig from. Instantly, his vision became blurry, his words slurred together and his head began to spin. A couple of mares in tight fitting swimsuits walked by the stallion, who responded by reaching out for them. They stepped back, out of his reach and scoffed at him, continuing on their path as the stallion made his way up the stairs in front of him. When he reached the top of the staircase, before him was the biggest dance party the island of Banoi had ever experience. Ponies were all over the place, dancing and swinging to the beat being played by the DJ on the stage. The stallion made his way towards the crowd, walking past one of the islands many outside bars. Immediately, a white mare with blue hair and purple tinted sunglasses stepped into his path, placing a hand on his shoulder while holding a bottle of her own in the other hand. “Do you know who I am?” She asked, shaking the stallion in an attempt to get his attention. “Maybe you seen me before? At that royal wedding? Or even in Manehatten?” The stallion tried to push her off, but she grabbed him again, getting into his face. “I’m Celestia-damned DJ-Pon3!” She shouted. The stallion, once again, pushed her off and made his way into the dancing crowd as the mare just scoffed at him and went back to her drink. The stallion made to the middle of the crowd and began inspecting some of the nearby mares. One mare caught his eye and he made his way towards her, slipping between ponies, sometimes even just straight up pushing them. When he finally made his way, he found himself at the side of a gray alicorn mare in a nice blue dress. She was dancing along with the rest of the crowd, but she kept her eye on the stage, smiling the entire time. The stallion moved closer to her and tried to dance along with her, even started to grind his body against her’s, but she looked at him in disgust. “Hey! Knock it off!” She said, moving away from him, but the stallion followed, doing the exact same thing again. This time she pushed him away. “Do it again, jerk, and I’ll knock your lights out!” She growled, raising a fist at the stallion, who shrugged at her, then turned towards the stage and started to make his way there. The stallion had finally made it to the edge of the stage. He pushed a few stallions out of the way as he began to climb up onto the stage. He landed on his stomach with his legs still dangling over the edge. Pushing himself up, he managed to get the rest of his body onto the stage. He stood up and turned towards the crowd, who were all dancing to the music with their hands raised into the air. Turning back, the stallion saw two ponies on the stage: one was behind a DJ table, his blue headphones on over his ears and his head banging to the beat. The other was in front of the stallion. It was a blue alicorn stallion dressed up in a deep green t-shirt and shorts. In his hand, he held a microphone, which he was singing the lyrics of the song into. The stallion moved over to the alicorn and began to dance with him, getting into his face and blocking his view of the crowd. The alicorn tried to nudge him out of the way, but he refused to move, continuing to dance. Soon the alicorn pushed the stallion backwards. He stumbled and fell off the stage, hitting his head on the ground. His vision was slightly blurred, but when he looked up at the stage, he saw the blue alicorn looking over the edge of the stage at him with a slightly worried face, though he didn’t stop his singing. Eventually the alicorn moved back, retaking his place on the stage as a security pony came over and helped up the fallen stallion. “Sir, are you alright? I think you’ve had a bit too much too drink. What’s your room number? I’ll help you back...” The stallion only stared at the security guard. Then a stray mare rushed through the crowd and jumped onto the back of the security guard. She took a bite out of his neck, splattering his blood onto the face of the stallion. The guard stumbled, trying to remove the mare from his back as she continuosly bit into his neck, while the stallion moved out of the crowd and headed towards the hotel, his face still covered in blood. The stallion had made his way into the lobby of the hotel, still stumbling from the effects of his drink and with blood in his eyes. He moved to the closest door to him, which happened to be a bathroom, pushed open the door and walked inside. It was a clean, white bathroom with the appropriate stalls and sinks. However the floor in front of him was covered in red as two mares were on the ground, one hanging over the other. “Please answer me.” The mare with a dark gray mane said to the mare lying on the ground, covered in red. The stallion stumbled over to the sink and turned on the water. He splashed his face and washed off the blood that covered his vision. When it was all cleaned off, he looked over at the two mares and noticed a bottle of pills next to the mare on the ground. It was open and a couple of the pills had spilled out. The stallion moved to beside the mares, bent over and grabbed the pills that spilt out. “Excuse me, sir! What are you doing here?!” The gray mare asked. “This is the Mare’s Room! Get out!” The stallion turned to the door and proceed to leave as the gray mare continued to care for the fallen one. The stallion continued to stumble through the hotel, slowly making his way towards his room. Another stallion was walking down the hall and noticed the drunk and attempted to assist him, only to be shoved away. The stallion shook his head and continued down the hall as the stumbling crashed into a door. He fumble his hand into his pocket and pulled out a key, which he inserted into the lock and turned. A sound came from the door, notifying that it had be unlocked and the stallion pushed open the door, entering the room. He slammed it close behind him and made his way over to his bed. Next to his bed was a table with another bottle on it. Grabbing it, he put the pills he took earlier into his mouth and took a swig from his bottle, then he lied down in his bed. After a few seconds, sleep began to take over as he eyes became heavy. He slowly closed his eyes, his world fading to dark, not knowing that this was his last day.
