Chapter 2: A Normal Afternoon
The school day had ended, and Sweeite Bell was walking with her friends. "So your sister's boyfriend is watching you until your parents get home?", Scootaloo asked. "And he's the same guy who won the school's tournament AND faced off against Burst in that awesome duel?!"
"That's Inferno all right. He's also taking me home today. There he is now!" Sweetie Bell ran up to Inferno, and he smiled that she was happy to see him. "Hi Inferno!"
"Hey Sweetie. Ready to head home?"
"Uh-huh. So how're we getting there?" Inferno smiled as he pulled out Red Eyes.
"Red Eyes Black Dragon!" A portal opened and Red Eyes Black Dragon came through. But when he landed, he was holding a Red Eyes Black Chick in his hands.
"Hey there Inferno! Sorry for the extra passenger. I've gotta watch my baby sister."
"No problem buddy. So Sweetie Bell? Ever ride a dragon before?"
"Cool! Later you two!" The two of them boarded Red Eyes and flew off to Sweetie Bell's home. As they landed however, they had no idea they were being watched. Suri was keeping an eye on them.
"Perfect. My minions will kidnap Sweetie Bell and then Rarity will have to face me in a duel! My new deck will put her gem knights to shame!" Inferno and Sweetie Bell had invited Red Eyes and Red Eyes Black Chick in. "On second thought, this is going to be harder than I thought." Suri then turned to her minion who she had dressed up like power ranger minion rejects. "Okay. Here's what we gotta do now..." Meanwhile, Sweetie was busy playing with Red Eyes Black Chick. The little dragon seemed to really like her, and was even perched on her head as she nuzzled Sweeite.
"Hehehe! That tickles!", Sweetie giggled. Red Eyes Black Chick chirped as she and Sweetie continued to play. Meanwhile, Inferno was looking over his deck while Red Eyes was fixing himself a snack. Inferno smiled at Sweetie playing with Red Eyes Black Chick.
"If that isn't cute I don't know what is." Suddenly, Red Eyes sniffed the air and his eyes narrowed.
"Inferno. I think we're about to have some uninvited guests." Inferno was about to ask what he meant when he heard a megaphone go off.
"Attention babysitter! Surrender Sweetie Bell and come quietly!", Suir yelled. "Or face off against my minions!" Suri's minions struck a bunch of poses right out of power rangers. Inferno opened the door to get a good look at his possible opponents. Sweetie was peeking from behind Inferno. Inferno frowned at Suri's presence.
"You know Suri. It was bad enough you've tried stealing Rarity's designs. Now you dress up your minions so badly? You're the worst villain ever. And that's a bad thing." The statement was so true even the minions were arguing the fact.
"Yeah. I mean, why did you have to dress us up like rejected power rangers minions?"
"Just shut up and attack them!" The minions shrugged and charged at Inferno! But as the first one got close, Inferno sent him flying with one punch!
'Reference time. ', Inferno thought. "ONE PUUUNCH!", he screamed as he sent the minion flying! The minion's jaws dropped at the sight! "Next?" Inferno then got into a fighting stance with his sword! The minions ran off! "Looks like its just you and me Suri."
"Not for long.." Suri summoned a bunch of Fright Fur monsters! "What're you gonna do now?" Red Eyes flew right out the door and released a fearsome roar! As Suri and her monster minions' ears were recovering, Inferno picked up Sweetie Bell, jumped onto Red Eyes and they took off!
"Next stop, anywhere but the last one!", Red Eyes shouted as he flew off!
"Sweetie Bell. I'm so sorry this thing's going out of control.", Inferno apologized.
"Well, at least I'll have a good story to tell my friends.", Sweetie said with a small smile. Inferno smiled in return.

Chapter 3: Everything's under control
Suri was fuming! "You stuffing-brained idiots!", she screamed at the Frightfurs. "One dragon lets out a roar and you all go running?!"
"B-but that's a legendary dragon! They're really strong!", one of the Frightfurs replied. "And they can switch to upgraded forms that're even stronger! We'd need a thousand stitches to fix us! Literally!"
"I. DON'T. CARE. Just get that girl!" The Frightfurs scattered and frantically searched for Sweetie Belle and Inferno. Meanwhile, Sweetie and Inferno had just landed near Sugar Cube Corner.
"Okay. That should give us some good distance.", Inferno said with a sigh of relief. He then noticed something moving around in Sweetie's backpack. "Uh, Sweetie Belle? Why's your backpack moving?" Sweetie Belle opened her backpack and pulled out Red Eyes Black Chick!
"So that's the hiding place she was talking about.", Red Eyes said with a sigh of relief. "I guess little Ash here really likes you."
"Aw! That's a pretty name for her.", Sweetie said with a smile as Red Eyes Black Chick rested on her head. Ash smiled at her and then turned to Sugar Cube Corner. She licked her beak. "I guess she's got a sweet fang?" Red Eyes chuckled.
"The same could be said of all of my family. As well as Inferno here."
"Come on! I devour a gigantic cupcake in Equestria ONE time!" Sweetie giggled at hearing Red Eyes share that bit of interesting information.
"So how'd he eat it?", she asked.
"Dove in head-first and ate it from the inside out.", Red Eyes said with a smirk. Inferno gave a defeated sigh.
"Well since we're here, we might as well satisfy our sweet teeth. Let's go. My treat." The group entered and each of them ordered something different. Inferno got a soda, Red Eyes got a milkshake, and Sweetie shared an ice cream with Ash. They'd only started enjoying their sweets when the Frightfurs showed up and ordered ice cream. The two groups noticed each other, and there was a brief silence. "...How about we each finish our sweets and you can get back to chasing us after that. Okay?" The Frightfurs nodded. All of them finished their sweets, went outside, and the chase began!
"Uh, Inferno? Why are we running away? Isn't Red Eyes stronger?", Sweetie Belle asked.
"Last I checked, we were outnumbered!", Inferno replied! "Quick! Into the convenient out-of-sight alley!" As they his from the Frightfurs, Inferno's phone went off. "Hello?"
"Hi Inferno!", Rarity answered. "Is everything alright? Sweetie isn't being a burden is she?"
"Nope. She's behaving." Inferno then heard a loud crash in the alley as Red Eyes Black Chick was running with Sweetie Belle chasing after her!
"Are you sure? I heard a crash."
"Everything's fine! Gotta go!" Inferno hung up as quick as he could as he and Red Eyes chased after Sweetie Belle and Red Eyes Black Chick! "Would you two please slow down?!" The two of them then saw the Frightfurs blocking off Sweetie and Red Eyes Black Chick.
"Sweetie. Pull my tail!", Red Eyes Black Chick said. Sweetie did so, and a stream of flame roasted the nearest Frightfur!
"Who else wants some?!", Sweetie said as she used Red Eyes Black Chick as a flamethrower! Red Eyes and Inferno's jaw dropped!
"Remind me never to get on her bad-side.", Inferno noted. After the Fright furs were scared off, Sweetie came up to Inferno and Red Eyes with Red Eyes Black Chick perched on her head.
"Thanks for a fun day Inferno!" Sweetie Belle gave Inferno a tight hug. Inferno smiled and returned the hug.
"You're welcome Sweetie. Say, how about we give Suri a taste of her own medicine!" Sweetie Belle had a mischievous grin.
"This is gonna be good..."

Inferno was in a pretty good mood. He and his friends had saved the world, dealt with all kinds of crazy villains, and gotten girlfriends in the process. Life couldn't get much better than that. Well, almost. Inferno noticed Rarity looking a bit worn down, so he decided to see what was going on. "Hey Rarity! You alright? You look a bit tired."
"Oh. It's nothing darling. I've just been the least bit busy coming up with and making a new clothing line. It's for a very special client.", Rarity said with an exhausted smile.
"So who's the lucky client to get the best designer I know?", Inferno asked with a smile.
"Only one of the best artists in music! Sapphire Shores! Everything MUST be perfect for this line! This is the second time she's entrusted me with her wardrobe! And I must not disappoint!"
"Wow. That is pretty important. Looks like you'll be camping out at your boutique today."
"It seems that way. Alas, my poor little sister will be all alone." Then an idea came to Rarity. "Inferno, darling? Could you do me this one favor?"
"Anything. Just name it!"
"Could you watch Sweetie Bell today? I'll promise my parents will reward you for your efforts."
"You don't have to go and do something that generous Rarity, but I'll do it all the same. The guys and I were planning another pizza night and we're all pitching in. Besides, Sweetie Bell seems to like me."
"Oh, thank you!" Rarity hugged Inferno tightly. "Make sure to pick her up after school today." Inferno smiled.
"Don't worry about it! Red Eyes and I have got it covered! How bad could things get?"

Chapter 4: It's time to duel!
Suri was growing bored waiting for the Frightfurs to turn up with Sweetie Belle in tow, and then she saw then running towards her and returning to her deck. Then she noticed a giant shadow over her. A giant dragon shadow. Red Eyes landed carrying Sweetie Belle and Inferno. "What's wrong? I thought you were expecting us.", Inferno joked.
"Like, not cool! You ruined my plans of kidnapping Rarity's sister to get her to duel me!"
"Wait. You were doing all this just so Rarity would duel you?"
"Um, yeah? What's your deal with that?"
"You rip-off some of my girlfriend's work, AND you try to kidnap her little sister! We're dueling now!" Inferno whipped out his duel disk and Suri activated hers.
Inferno: 8000 Suri: 8000
"I've got the first turn! I summon Fluffal Leo, set a card, and end my turn.", Suri said.
"My move! Nice! I play Red Eyes Fusion! I'll send Red Eyes Black Dragon and Summoned Skull from my deck to the graveyard to fusion summon Archfiend Black Skull Dragon! Attack with Archfiend Blaze!" In a blast of flame, Fluffal Leo was destroyed! "But that's not all! When he attacks or is attacked, I can deal damage equal to the attack points of a normal Red Eyes monster in my graveyard!" Suri winced as the flames licked away at her life points! "And since I used his effect, I can return a Red Eyes normal monster to my deck. That's all for my turn."
Inferno: 8000 Suri: 4000
"I activate my trap! Fluffal Crane! This returns a Fluffal monster that was destroyed by battle or card effect back to my hand! Now I summon Fluffal Owl! Once he's summoned I can add Polymerization to my hand! Now I play 500 life points to fusion summon a Frightfur monster using Edge Imp Saw from my hand and Fluffal Owl! I fusion summon Frightfur Leo and activate his effect! I can destroy one of your monsters and inflict its attack points as damage! I choose your Archfiend Black Skull Dragon!" Frightfur Leo shot out an energy saw blade that destroyed Archfiend Black Skull Dragon! Inferno braced himself as he took damage! "Too bad he can't attack after using his effect. So I end my turn."
Inferno: 4800 Suri: 3500
"I draw! I play Red Eyes Insight! I'll send a Red Eyes monster from my deck to the graveyard to add a Red Eyes spell to my hand! I select Red Eyes Fusion! Now I'll send Red Eyes Black Dragon and Meteor Dragon to the graveyard to fusion summon Meteor Black Comet Dragon! Now I activate his effect! I'll send Red Eyes Black Flare Dragon from my deck to the graveyard to inflict half of his attack as direct damage!" Suri winced as a streak of flame hit her life points! "Now I'll destroy your monster! Meteor Black Flare!" Frightfur Leo was destroyed in a blast of flame! "That's all for my turn. You just got burned Suri."
"You mess with one Red Eyes, you get the whole flock!", Meteor Black Comet boasted.
Inferno: 4800 Suri: 1200
"I summon a monster in defense mode and end my turn!", Suri panicked. "Good luck getting at my life points now."
"Time to end this. I play the spell card Harmony Absolute! I'll banish Red Eyes Black Dragon from my graveyard and summon Red Eyes Absolute Dragon!" Suri was cowering the minute Red Eyes Absolute descended! "Now for his effect! I'll halve his attack points so he can attack you directly! Blaze Aura!" Red Eyes Absolute wrapped himself in flames as he flew over Suri's monster and crashed into her life points directly! Red Eyes Absolute then spoke to Suri.
"Might I make a suggestion?" He then leaned in until he was about an ince away from her face. "Run." Suri ran as fast as she could! "Heh. Works every time."
"Come on Sweetie Belle.", Inferno said as he helped her get on Red Eyes Absolute. "Let's get you back home."

Chapter 5: Alls well that ends well
Rarity had finished her work early, and decided to surprise Inferno and Sweetie Belle. 'I hope things weren't too boring for Sweetie. I also hope she didn't cause too much trouble for Inferno. ' Rarity opened the door and found Sweetie Belle playing with Red Eyes Black Chick. Inferno and Red Eyes were sprawled out on the couch. "I take it you all had a fun afternoon?"
"Like you wouldn't believe.", Inferno and Red Eyes replied. Rarity walked over to Inferno and kissed him.
"Your old fashion rival tried to kidnap her, but I took care of her.", Inferno said with a smile.
"It was so cool!", Sweetie Belle shouted. Red Eyes Black Chick was still perched on her head. "No wonder he's your boyfriend." Rarity smiled.
"By the way Inferno, my parents had set aside some money as payment for watching Sweetie." Rarity handed Inferno the money.
"Sweet. Looks like pizza night with the guys is still on.", Inferno said with a smile. "Come on Red Eyes. We'd better get to Burst's house fast. See you later Rarity." Inferno gave her a kiss goodbye. Sweetie Belle rushed up to Inferno and hugged him.
"Bye Inferno! Bye Red Eyes!" Red Eyes Black Chick flew over to Red Eyes as Inferno got ready to leave.
"See ya Sweetie Belle." Red Eyes and Inferno soon landed at Burst's house. "Hey guys. Sorry if I'm late!"
"No problem Inferno. But what kept you anyway?", Burst asked. Inferno chuckled.
"Boy do I have a story for you..."
