Times Change

A day in Equestria is just like any other day in Equestria, except for this day.  After the whole fight between the Changeling Queen and Starlight Glimmer, a lot of ponies are still scared of the changelings, no matter how bright or colorful they are.  Currently, two types of changeling roam the land.   Ones that are nice and friendly, others that Chrysalis just HAD to send back out and use to harm again…  This story begins at 7 AM, pinkie pie breaking twilight's door open before she even gets ready.

    “OHHHH TWILIGHT!!!” Pinkie yells with an annoying voice.

    “Huh? WOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!” Twilight yells when she wakes, her hair an absolute mess.

    “Huh? Twilight go ba- oh,” Spike says being awoken from the yelling”

    “Twilight Twilight there is a party and I invited everypony in ponyville and all the changelings ever!”

   “Can you at least let me sleep?” Twilight says with a tired tone.

   “Okee Dokey!” Pinkie Pie yells, then slams the door shut.

    Next comes Rainbow Dash.

    Rainbow is sound asleep, snoring loud.  Pinkie Pie floats up with a bunch of balloons, and blasts the door open by crawling into a party cannon and launching herself at the door. The door falls over with a loud bang sound, and Rainbow immediately flies down to attack, but since she had just woken up, this gives Pinkie time to step aside.  Rainbow flies out the door and starts hovering, noticing her surroundings.  She gets mad.

     “PINKIE!!!!” Rainbow screeches with anger.

     “I was just trying to tell you about the party with every changeling in Equestria!” Pinkie yells with joy.

   “You dont mean some of the old kind d-” Rainbow says but is cut off.

     “I meant every changeling EVER!” Pinkie says with joy.

     “Who else knows?” Rainbow says, worried.

     “Oh Im gonna tell everypony!”

3 hours go by from pinkie telling everypony she knows about the party.  The ponies walk in, worried.  Everypony from ponyville arrives there, conversing with the nice changelings.  The scary vibes have finally worn off, until some “unexpected guests” arrive.   Thinking they could get a meal, two black changelings enter the room undisguised.

     “ITZ A TRAP! THEY TRICKED UZ!” The first black changeling says.

    Thorax immediately pauses his conversation with Twilight, horrified that the black changelings were still out there.  They have to do something to calm the deadly beasts, but nothing could be as inspiring as the setup Starlight and Thorax had set up for the old black changelings… Or could it?

    The two black changelings notice thorax, and pause, eyes wide open.

“WE MUZT INFORM THE QUEEN!” the second one yells as everypony just stares.

     “Now Now,” Thorax says, a little more wise from learning how to speak properly.

   “You don’t need to starve like we all once did.  We share our love, meaning it multiplies.  And without friends, I would have never learned that.  I, nor my friends, would know such great friends.  Share the love deep within you.  It means something to everypony,” Thorax continues.

All of a sudden, things take a big turn of events.  A third changeling walks in.  Everypony still horrified, things get worse.  The tiny changeling changes form into Queen Chrysalis through a long and boring transformation sequence.

“Ehehehehehahahaahaa!  You pathetic things expect to stop me?” Chrysalis says in her dark voice.

“Thats like, the worst speech I have ever heard!” Chrysalis continues, and then shoots thorax.  Thorax clutches his stomach where the magic had gone through his body like a bullet, and falls to the ground, dead.

The entire room gasps in horror, Rarity dropping red wine on her beautiful new dress. Rarity starts complaining in the silent room, not realizing the world around her.  When she finally looks up, she too gasps in horror.  Twilight prepares to fight off the queen with magic.  Just then, chrysalis calls for a special “suprise.”  Two evil guards come around the corner and throw a tied up Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

“Now you can either give me the lives and food from 40 ponies, or I end your beloved princesses.  Oh what a shame,” Chrysalis says with a tang of revenge.

“Just have her end us Twilight! It isnt worth it!” Celestia says quickly.

“I agree.  It isnt worth the lives of 40 ponies,” Luna says.

Twilight tries to zap Chrysalis, but an electric field blocks the magic.

“I see you chose the princess execution option,” Chrysalis says.

“Dont do this!” Twilight yells.

“Too late.” Chrysalis says, and then teleports away with Celestia and Luna.

"Ah ain't got a clue 'bout whats goin' on," Applejack says, worried.

Starlight arrives late, to see the mane six looking over something, but nopony else is there.

"Uhm... guys?" Starlight inquiries as she trots over confused.

"Thorax is dead," Twilight says with sadness.

Starlight gasps in horror at thorax's dead body.

"No..." Starlight says in horror.

Yet the whole time, fluttershy has been sitting in one spot, eyes wide, like severe PTSD.  Everypony stares down upon the party pony for making this tragic day possible.  But worse was coming.  Much, much worse.  20 miles away, a black and pointy rock blasts out of the ground, followed  by a very low laugh.

"Pathetic ponies..."
