This Is What I Am To You?!

This is it, The day Spike will confess. He was nervous but tried to keep calm.

Today wasn't an ordinary day. It was the day Spike will confess to Rarity. He had everything prepared from the place and food because he was planning for a picnic.

"Okay, everything is prepared, now all I have to do is ask her when she's done with work and then I will confess." Spike said in his thoughts

Easy, right! but no he was scared and nervous of rejection. He doesn't know what to do. This made his heart sink down. He could not bear that one little word "No", this made his heart shudder. It was something he couldn't bear to hear but he put those aside and went to the Carousel Boutique.

He was inside of the Boutique, waiting for Rarity to finish while sometimes getting things for her. He was getting bored so he tried imagining things and sometimes trying to breath fire.

Alas Rarity was done, well almost as she was cleaning and putting stuff back. Spike was finally happy when she was done because he was getting bored doing those stuff. He went up to Rarity and tapped her back. Rarity turned around and asked,

"What is it Spike?

"Well I was wondering if we could have a picnic later tonight I heard that tonight was  the night Sun Star Comet was passing by." Spike said a little nervous but with a positive smile.

Rarity was happy so she nodded, simply because she needed some rest, fresh air and she wanted to see the comet. Spike was happy of her answer and they walked to the hill near the safest part of the Everfree Forest is and sat there with everything prepared.

They were happily eating when Spike saw the comet, it was beautiful with it's purple and white head with a bit of green in it's tail.

Spike stopped eating his gems and tapped Rarity. Rarity stopped eating as well and looked at a very nervous Spike. Spike quickly held Rarity's hooves and said,

"Rarity, ever since I met you I had this little crush which grew everytime I'm with you, and I feel like It is time to say that I, Spike Drake love you, Rarity." his eyes looking at Rarity.

Rarity was surprised, shocked, flattered but she can't love Spike he is not what she wanted.

"I'm sorry Spike but your a dragon not a pony and I want a handsome stallion, not a baby dragon." She continued "For me your just an assistant, worker, a lovesick baby dragon who does me free labor thinking I would love him. Spike this crush of yours has gotten overboard and let it in your mind that I do not love you that way but only as a friend. Understand this I do not want any dragon as my special somepony it would just ruin my chances in getting in with the high- class ponies." she explained rather harshly but with a little bit of concern and trotted off leaving a heartbroken Spike.

Spike was heartbroken, it feels like his heart has been stepped on and hammered in to a thousand pieces. He sat with his knees on his face and started crying and crying until sunrise when he dozed off.

Twilight was worried of Spike, he didn't come home late at night. She was very worried that she tried to fly to look for him but everytime she tried she would just fall face first. She sighed, ever since she got her wings she tried flying but to no avail she's still bad at it. She wanted to call her friends but they're all busy so she just walked and walked and looked for every part of Ponyville but with no luck she couldn't find him so she went around the Everfree Forest. After feeling almost hopeless she saw a purple blur up on the hill.

She ran to the hill, worry filled her body. When she was up on the hill she saw Spike asleep safe and sound but she saw the blanket very wet thinking he cried a lot the whole night. She sighed and went up to him, used her magical aura to him and they teleported home to the Golden Oak Library and let him sleep because he has some explaining to do when he wakes up.
