Chapter 1: The Long Morning
Burst woke up with a smile. As always, Moon was sleeping next to him with a blissful smile. Feeling that it was going to be a good day, Burst was about to open the window, but paused when he looked down to the lawn. Outside was a hoard of girls with posters that had his face on them. In specific, posters of him dueling and performing. 'What the heck?! How did they get to my house? How did they know where I live? Something tells me these aren't your average fans... ' Burst took another peek and noticed that some of the girls had dyed their hair to look like his. Some even had shirts that said 'Marry me Burst Stream!' on them. 'Fangirls. Definitely fangirls. ' Burst then got a call from Inferno. "Hey man! You won't believe what I woke up to today!"
"Would it happen to be a bunch of girls who've dyed their hair to look like you and have your face on posters?", Inferno asked.
"How did you know?"
"Because I've got the exact same problem!", Inferno shouted as he took a peek from his blinds! "How did they find us?!"
"Google?"
"Ok. But how did they get here without making any noise?! No way crowds this big can show up without some form of chatter! How're we going to get past them? From what I've read, fangirls are a relentless type of creature. Not to mention they're incredibly determined. Oh good god cards what if they try to make their fanfiction come to life by kidnapping us! Or worse, they try to keep us as pets for the rest of their lives! I'm already happy with Rarity!"
"Inferno calm down! We just have to leave our houses without them noticing!"
"And if they do notice?"
"Easy. Run like your life depends on it!" Moon had just woken up.
"Mmm. Burst? What's got you so...OH SWEET CELESTIA!" Moon had just noticed the hoard of crazy fangirls outside. Now some of them were holding plushies of Burst. "There's so many of them! How did we not hear them coming?!" Moon's gaze steeled. "Well then...time to show them you're spoken for."
"What did you have in mind?", Burst asked.
"That can wait until we finish breakfast." Burst shrugged and got ready for the day. After breakfast, Moon seemed to latch onto him. "Stay close. Or else you might not make it." Burst opened the door, and the fangirls screamed! But they stopped when they saw Moon latched onto his arm. "Mine. " The fangirls instantly backed off and Burst and Moon were able to pass without any trouble.
"I love you.", Burst said with a sigh of relief. Moon smiled.
"Just making it clear that your heart already belongs to me and Celestia. I wonder how Inferno's doing?"
Meanwhile with Inferno...
"Faster Red Eyes! FASTER!", Inferno screamed as Red Eyes flew as fast as he could!
"I'm going as fast as I can! These girls aren't human! They're gaining fast!"
"Don't look back! Keep moving!" Inferno and Red Eyes flew off as fast as they could and managed to escape the mob of fangirls that had almost sealed their doom. Burst arrived at CHS with Moon, and they noticed Inferno and Red Eyes had just landed. Both looked beat. Inferno barely strained together a sentence. "I...now know...the true face of evil."
"And it is called...fangirls.", Red Eyes said as he fainted and returned to the monster world. Burst helped Inferno walk.
"Well, at least the worst part is over." They walked over to their lockers, and saw Steel with his clothes mangled! "...Rough fangirl encounter?"
"They all wanted a piece of 'The Black Luster Soldier Badboy.' I don't know where they got the last part of that annoying nickname though. Super Soldier and I had to fend them off with my backpack and his shield. But it wasn't enough." Rainbow Dash put a hand on his shoulder.
"At least you escaped right?" Steel nodded slowly.
"Well you all seem to have had an eventful morning.", Celestia said with a pleasant smile as she kissed Burst. "But I think it's safe to say that the worst part is over."
"I don't think you should have said that...", Sunset said as she looked at her phone.
"Why?"
"Here's why!" Sunset showed them a picture of Gold's limo getting swarmed with another mob of fangirls. Burst groaned.
"This is going to be a LONG day."

Chapter 3: Battleground-CHS
"Okay. So we'll use the tables as barricades. That should hold them for a while.", Steel said as he and the guys were going over battle plans. "Are there any entryways that we didn't cover?"
"We've made sure to block every possible entrance. But our blockades won't hold them for long!", Inferno replied.
"Then we're gonna have to give it all we've got. Fortunately, Steel's armed us with plenty of nerf guns.", Burst added.
"Yeah, but the fangirls outnumber us."
"But they don't outmatch us.", Shadow added. "They've got a mob mentality. Meaning their only tactic is to swarm and rush us."
"Then it looks like it's time for the fight.", Burst said as he got ready to address the students. "Alright everyone, listen up! Any moment a horde of fangirls are going to come swarming through the doors! Though we face great numbers, we can't turn back now! We aren't going down without a fight! This all started with their obsession with me and my friends, so we're gonna end it! Anyone who wants to walk away now, do so. None of us will hold it against you. To those who wish to stand with us, we shall stand by you! Today we bring an end to crazed fandom!" The whole cafeteria was silent for a moment, but one by one the students began to clap and cheer! "On to the battlefield!" The school was silent when they heard the fangirls ramming at the barricades. "Hold the line." Each time they tried to break through! "Hold the line!" Finally, they broke through and started to rush in! "Open fire!" A barrage of nerf darts were sent flying in the direction of the fangirls! Most of them broke off and returned to their lives, but the quarter that were left weren't giving any ground! "Die-hards. I should have expected they'd show up. Fall back! Fall back!" The die-hards rushed forward! Bad fan-fictions in hand! "They're packing ordinance! Why did it have to be bad fan-fiction? Was it too much to ask for good fan fiction?! Hit the deck!" Most of the student had taken on the die-hards! Managing to drive off only about five of them! Twenty still armed with PLENTY of bad fan-ficition. "They just ain't giving up! Fall back to the gym! We'll use the terrain to our advantage!" Burst and the others had made it until he heard Inferno cry out in pain!
"AAGGH!"
"Inferno!", Burst went over to his fallen friend. "How bad is it?"
"They got me....with fan-ficiton! I don't know how long I can take of looking at the pairing they set up! It burns man!"
"No! You're gonna make it! You're gonna be fine!"
"I cant' take it man! Burn it! Burn it with lava!" Inferno then fainted.
"NNOOOOOO!" Burst then picked up Inferno's dart blaster. "Alright you crazed fangirls! Here I am! Come and get me!" Burst led the fangirls right into the gym. "Let's dance!" Burst fired off in all directions! Striking down any fangirls unfortunate enough to get caught in his sights! However, he soon ran out of darts! "Well. I guess you could say I'm...hosed." The lights came on and most of the remaining fangirls were driven off! However, one still remained.
"Why do you drive us off? We just love you so much Burst!", the girl said with hearts in her eyes.
"Sorry! I'm taken.", Burst said with a smirk. "And you seem obsessed more than appreciative."
"So be it. Burst Stream." The girl then drew out a toy lightsaber. Burst drew his own.
"One shall stand. One shall fall." The two charged! The fangirl had the edge in energy and obsession, but Burst kept a cool head and was calm throughout the whole fight! "I must admit. You're quite skilled to keep up with me! But now I'm ending this!" Burst focused some of his dragon energy! "Blue Eyes White Fang!" Burst leaped into the air and unleashed a slash of energy from the air! The fangirl was knocked out cold! Inferno had recovered and Rarity was helping him walk.
"Now THAT was epic.", Inferno said with a smile. "The Battle of CHS is over!" Celestia and Moon went up to Burst and each of them kissed him.
"Well at least the day wasn't boring.", Celestia said. "In light of the huge amount of clean-up, the rest of the day will be given off!"
"Now for a sweet victory!", Pinkie chirped. The whole school enjoyed a laugh as they went to enjoy the remainder of their day off!

Burst, Inferno, Steel, Celestia, Moon, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash all met up at Sugar Cube Corner. "Man am I glad that's over with.", Inferno said with a relieved smile. "Having fans is nice and all, but I like it better when they're not crazed and raving."
"Yeah. That, and we're overlooking one important fact we already know.", Steel said with a smirk.
"That we already have our number one fans right beside us.", Burst said with a smile as each of the guys respective girlfriends hugged them. "And in the end, they're the only fans we really need." The guys shared a kiss with their girlfriends, and took the chance to enjoy their company as well as some sweets. It was a sweet victory indeed.

Chapter 2: This...is...FANDOM!
"Oh man! Gold's gonna have trouble rising to this occasion!", Inferno said as he looked at the picture. "How're we gonna help him out?"
"I have an idea.", Steel said with a grave tone. "But it will lead to quite the mess and it involves us speaking to the crowd."
"We're out of options, and we can't use our monster partners to help because they wouldn't last five minutes against that swarm! So let's do it!"
"Then here's the plan..." The guys went outside and addressed the crowd. "HEY!", Steel shouted. The whole crowd turned towards them and immediately squealed with joy. "Thank you. You're too kind. But we have a very important question! Who do you think is the best?" The girls started to murmur, then they began to argue, and then they began to go at it! "This is madness incarnate guys."
"Madness? MADNESS?! THIS. IS. FANDOM! Or fangirlism. Whatever's the correct term. Now let's get Gold out of there before one of them hijacks his car!", Inferno said. The guys opened the door, pulled Gold out, and rushed inside before they could be spotted!
"...I don't know HOW Yugi and Kaiba deal with this!", Gold said as he made it inside. "I now have a newfound respect for celebrities."
"I think we all do.", Burst said with an exhausted smile. "Well at least it's..." Burst and the others had opened the doors to the cafeteria and saw a whole mess of fans inside."over." Oddly enough, these fans didn't look as hardcore as the fangirls outside. Flash was among them.
"Relax guys. We're casual fans. And we've come to assist you against the swarm that threatens you." Burst and the guys let out a sigh of relief.
"Celestia? You might wanna hold off on starting the school day." Burst tied a red headband around his head. "Things just got crazy."
