Spike was falling. This could mean a lot of things. Where was Spike falling is probably the question you first ask yourself but the real question should be when. Time is a fickle thing and he had just happened to be dragged along on a journey that pressed one too many of time’s buttons. An accidental slip of the claw had made Spike lose his grasp on his dear companion Twilight on their final trip back to the present after defeating Starlight. Now he was falling through time and space and not even a mattress could stop him. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh" he screamed as he fell out of the time vortex onto the ground. He sat up rubbing his head after the initial shock of falling had worn off. "Where am I?" he said. "Twilight are you there?" He stood up and looked around. "This place looks familiar..." he thought to himself. In the distant he could make out a castle. "Is that the Castle of The Two Sisters?" he said and he glanced around. "No.... can't be, there's no Everfree Forest around..." He decided it would be best to head towards the castle as it was the only sign of civilization in sight. As he got closer he saw that it indeed was The Castle of the Two Sisters. "This can't be right..." he said softly. After a few minutes of walking he reached the colossal door. He reached his claw out and knocked. "Hello? Anybody home?!" he shouted. After a moment of waiting the door slowly began to creak open. Behind it was something Spike was not expecting. A blue coated filly with even lighter blue hair answered the door.
"Hello, welcome to the Castle of the Two Sister... If you are looking for Celestia, which you probably are, she's in the back courtyard." she said almost robotically. Spike gagged and sputtered.
"P-Princess Luna?! Is that you?" The filly looked surprised.
"Wait you are actually here for me?!" A smile appeared on her face and her eyes lightened from their less than cheery demeanor. "Well come on in!" she quickly gestured inside. Spike was speechless but did as he was told. "I can't believe you actually know about me! Being the younger sister makes people tend to forget about me sometimes..."
Spike finally spoke up. "Of course I know you! Everyone in Equestria knows who you are! You're only one of the most important ponies ever!" Luna glared at him partially confused.
"Yeah sure...." she muttered. Spike's mind had finally snapped out of it and he had pieced together what had happened.
"Hey Princess Luna-"
"Call me Luna." she stated plainly.
"Luna... what era am I in?" Spike questioned. Luna giggled.
"That's a silly question! We are in the Crescent era!"
"The crescent era?!" Spike panicked if the history books Twilight read to him were correct that was over 1000 years ago! Spike passed out.
"What did you do to him Sis?!" Was the next thing Spike heard.
"Nothing I swear he just passed out when I told him it was the Crescent area!" Spike groaned and he groggily opened his eyes.
"Ugh, I just had the most horrible dream." he said as his eyes began adjust. "But luckily it was just a dream and I'm back safe and sound in the full moon era-" his eyes had fully cleared from the fog. Standing in front of him was a filly Celestia and Luna. Spike's jaw dropped.
"Did you just say you were from the Full Moon era? Pssh thats a stupid name it should be called the Full Sun era if such a Era existed! I think you might have messed up his brain a little Looney Luna."
Luna turned red with anger. "Don't call me that! I'm not looney! And I think that's a great era name! Keep your blabbing muzzle shut!" Celestia laughed.
"Aw is wittle woona gonna cry?" she said making a mocking pouty face.
"n-NO!" she shouted but it was obvious that was. Spike felt terrible for Luna. This was not the caring and wise Celestia he knew.
"Hey leave her alone! She's your little sister!" Spike intervened. Celestia whipped her head around in shock.
"You don't find my teasing amusing?! B-But EVERYPONY finds my teasing amusing! It's not like its meant to be serious or anything..." she grumbled. While this was happening Luna quickly used the tapestry to dry her eyes. Celestia continued to stare at Spike before she seemed to have a realization.
"Ohhhh since you're a dragon you obviously aren't from around here right?! What's your name young drake?" She said confidentially.
"Spike." he replied.
"Oh, how original." Celestia mused. "Well Spike I am Princess Celestia! First born alicorn, powerful magician, and possibly the most important pony currently living! And that pony over their is my sister Luna. She's an alicorn too." she quickly glossed over. "So now that you know who I am you can now laugh at my amusements." Celestia seemed pleased with herself.
"But your amusements... Aren't funny." Celestia's face deflated and her expression turned of one of pride to one of anger.
"How dare you insult me in my own castle! Get out now!" She ran upstairs continually screaming get out. Once the noise had died down Luna turned to look at Spike.
"Sorry about Tia she can be a little... hot-headed sometimes. Thank you so much for standing up for me nopony has ever done that for me before." she smiled.
"No problem." Spike said. "In my era she isn't like that."
"Why do you keep saying your era?" Luna asked quizzically
"Well um... you see. I may have accidentally time travelled to this time frame and now I'm stuck here." Luna's eye twitched. She passed out
"That was a little overdramatic don't you think?" came a voice from above.
"What? Who's there?!" Spike called only for a moment before a realization came on him. "Discord?! Discord is that you?'
"The one and only!" After a sudden flash of light the God of Chaos. "Discord at your service." Spike glanced up at draconiquise and could not help but to stifle a giggle. This Discord looked nothing like the one from his time. This Discord was apparently still going through a even more chaotic time in his life than the one from Spike's Era. He was going through... puberty. His once great goatee was reduced now to nothing but stumble, his voice ,though still deep, occasionally cracked when talking, his gray hair was now matty and black and his ever showing pointed tooth was slightly crooked. "What's so funny!?" the offended self-proclaimed god asked in a lisp. Spike couldn't control it now. He burst out laughing. Spike wished for a camera. Oh what he wouldn't give to just have one picture of this to hold over Discord's head for all eternity.
"Nothing I swear!" he shouted in glee. Discord raised his talon in ager about to strike but right before he could a voice called out.
"Disssssyyyyyyyyyyyy." Discord immediately stopped and began looking around.
"Oh no...." A sudden burst of light came out of nowhere and suddenly a draconquis that looked like a older female version of Discord appeared.
"There you are my little Chaos causer. I've been looking everywhere for you!"
"Hey...mom...." Discorded replied with a sigh. Luna began to rise from her unexpected slumber.
"Ughh..." she said waking up. "What happened?" Luna glanced around and saw Spike and Discord. "So it wasn't a dream? Dang it."
"OH are these your friends my little Dissy?" Discord's mother said as she licked her lions paw and began straightening out Discord's hair. Discord breathed in a long sigh and pushed his mom away.
"Yes mother these are my friends."
"Oh good! You spend too much time in your room alone with those magazines and your fancy smancy rock-n-roll." By this time Luna had moved towards the still snickering Spike.
"You know this guy?" she asked quietly.
"Yeah, he's pretty important in the future."
"Really?! He's kinda a loser now... He comes around the castle sometimes but we usually just ignore him." Spike considered telling her about how Discord would briefly take over the world but decided against it as to not destroy the fabric of space time.
"Well dinner's ready Discord. So you better come on home. You can play with your friends all day tomorrow!" Discord's mother smiled warmly.
"Fine." Discord said indigently and reluctantly teleported away with her.
"Well that could have gone worse?" Luna asked questionably.
"Yeah defiantly." Spike chuckled. He glanced at the window he could have sworn it would be sunset by now. "Hey Luna..."
"Hmm. What is it?"
"Isn't the sun supposed to be set by now?"
