Chapters Yu-Gi-Oh EQG 8: The 63rd Dimension
Dusk Shine was coming to. He woke up, and he still found himself staring at gender swapped versions of his friends. "Okay. I'm not dreaming. So, who are you? Because you look a lot like my friends. Except the guys are girls and the girls are guys." Twilight was the first to speak.
"My name's Twilight Sparkle."
"Sunset Shimmer"
"Pinkie Pie!"
"Rarity."
"Applejack."
"Fluttershy."
"Rainbow Dash!"
"Steel Edge."
"Inferno Flare."
"Burst Stream."
Dusk smiled. "My name's Dusk Shine. Welcome to my world. Literally! So, wanna meet my friends?"
"Might as well see what our gender swaps look like.", Burst said with a shrug. "Let's go!"
"Wait until the guys see this!" Dusk called up his friends. "Yeah, Sunset? You and the others have GOT to see this! Oh trust me you'll like it! Okay, bye! So do you guys have a Sugar Cube Corner back home?"
"This is going to be interesting..I can't wait to meet everyone!", Twilight cheered.
"Just think of the parties!", Pinkie chirped. The group left and went to meet their counterparts. They went to Sugar Cube Corner, and it was like they were looking in a mirror when they saw their counterparts. Both sides were silent until Rainbow Dash's counter part spoke.
"Huh.", Rainbow Blitz said. "I look pretty hot as a chick!" Jack promptly punched him in the arm. "Ow! What was that for?!"
"Honestly Blitz. You can be a bit too forward at times.", Elusive said. "Pleased to meet all of you. My name is Elusive."
"Rainbow Blitz."
"Jack."
"Butterscotch."
"Bubble Berry."
"Sunset Glare.", Sunset's counterpart greeted. "I think the girls should see this. Hey Saffira! Cynder! Silver! You've gotta see this!" Three girls that looked like Burst, Inferno, and Steel came forward.
"Huh. So that's what I'd look like as a guy.", Saffira said as she examined Burst. "Hm. Wonder what Eclipse and Solaris look like as girls."
"I know the answer to that pretty well.", Burst said with a smile. "Name's Burst Stream."
"I'm Saffira. Nice to meet you."
"So you're my counterpart. Nice!", Cynder said with a smile. "So is your girlfriend as gorgeous as Elusive is handsome?"
"She sure is!"
"Awesome! Name's Cynder."
"Inferno." Meanwhile, Silver was getting a look at Steel.
"Sooo, why are you named Silver?", Steel asked.
"Isn't it obvious? Our hair color. Yours looks like the metal steel because its so dark. All the same, we've got pretty sweet names. Is your version of Blitz awesome like mine?"
"Braginess and all.", Steel said with a smirk. "I guess we all run identical decks?"
"Then lets test them out! Saffira against Burst!", Rainbow Blitz shouted. "If Saffira's our best, and Burst is yours, why not see which one comes out on top?" Rainbow Dash and Jack promptly punched him in the arms. "Ow!"
"Yer not starting another stupid boys vs girls competition RB.", Jack said flatly.
"Actually, I kinda want to see what Saffira can do!", Burst said with a smile. "So you up for a good duel?"
"Isn't it obvious?", Saffira said with a smile. "Let's duel!"
Burst: 8000 Saffira: 8000
"Ladies first."
"Thanks. I summon Kaibawoman! Now I tribute her to special summon Blue Eyes White Dragon from my hand!" Blue Eyes materialized on the field! "Now I'll end my turn."
"I draw! I reveal a Blue Eyes in my hand to special summon Blue Eyes Alternative! Now I play Trade-In to discard Blue Eyes and draw two new cards! Next I play Return of the Dragon Lords to revive the Blue Eyes in my graveyard! Alternative's effect destroys your Blue Eyes while my other Blue Eyes attacks you directly! White Lightning!" Saffira braced herself as she was hit with the full force of the attack. "I end my turn. We might have the same deck, but you've got different tactics."
Burst: 8000 Saffira: 5000
"So do you. You're able to get monsters out a lot quicker! I play Melody of Awakening Dragon to add two dragons with 3000 or more attack and 2500 or less defense from my deck to my hand! Now I play Dragon Shrine to send Blue Eyes White Dragon from my deck to the graveyard! And since he was a normal dragon, I'll send my last copy of Blue Eyes to the graveyard! Now I play Dragon's Mirror to banish all three Blue Eyes in my graveyard to bring out Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon! Now I'll tribute him to Bring out my ace card! Blue Eyes Shining Dragon! Now I play Burial from a Different Dimension to return my banished monsters to the graveyard! She gains 300 attack for every dragon in my graveyard, and last I checked there was four! This brings her to 4200 attack points! Destroy Blue Eyes Alternative White Dragon!"
"Not so fast! I banish Return of the Dragon Lords to protect my monster! I may take damage, but my monster's safe!" Burst winced as he took damage!
"You care for your monsters as much as I do. I end my turn."
Burst: 6800 Saffira: 5000
"I draw! I play Cards of Consonance to discard White Stone of Ancients to draw two new cards! Nice! I activate Harmony Absolute! This card lets me tribute a Blue Eyes White Dragon on the field! And since Alternative's name counts as Blue Eyes while he's on the field or in the graveyard, I'll tribute him! Come on out! Blue Eyes Absolute Dragon!" Blue Eyes Absolute descended from the heavens! "Now he gains 300 attack for each monster in my graveyard! Not just dragons! Attack Blue Eyes Shining! Absolute Neutron Blast!"
"Not so fast! I activate Mirror Force! This'll stop your attack and destroy all your attack mode monsters!" A barrier soon formed around Blue Eyes Shining, but Absolute's attack broke right through it! "What? How did your monster break through?!"
"He's got the word absolute in his name for a reason. He's unaffected by card effects!" Saffira braced herself for the damage that crashed into her life points. "I end my turn. And since you activated your trap, you helped me out because now Absolute gains another 300 points."
Burst: 6800 Saffira: 3600
"How did you get a monster that strong? I wish I had a card like that, but the closest thing I've got is Chaos MAX."
"Wait...you didn't get the Harmony Absolute card or Blue Eyes Absolute? Then how did you manage to beat your villains?"
"Beat me in this duel and I'll tell you!", Saffira said with a smirk. "I summon a monster in defense mode and end my turn! Too bad you can't do piercing damage!"
"Oh really? Absolute Neutron Blast!"
"She really tempted fate didn't she?", Blue Eyes Absolute said to the audience before he fired his attack! Saffira winced as she took damage!
"I end my turn.", Burst said. Saffira looked at her life points and saw that she had taken damage!
Burst: 6800 Saffira: 100
"Me and my big mouth. Now I REALLY need a card like that! I'll set a card and end my turn."
"My move! I'll set a card and attack with Blue Eyes White Dragon!"
"I activate Draining Shield!"
"I don't think so! I activate my trap! Champion's Vigilance! When I have a level seven or higher normal monster on the field, I can negate the activation of a spell or trap card or the summon of a monster and destroy that card! And I choose to negate your trap! Let's end this Blue Eyes!"
"White Lightning!", Burst and Blue Eyes shouted as the final attack was launched! "And that's game!" Burst helped Saffira up and gave her a smile. "Good duel. But why didn't you bring out your own Blue Eyes Absolute?"
"Well I kind of don't have that card.", Saffira said with a nervous smile. "I've won Duelist Kingdom and Battle City, but I never got that card for some reason."
"Well how did you beat your villains? Did your version of Sombra get destroyed?"
"You mean Umbra? Well....she kinda still making trouble. I was able to save Tira in Battle City though."
"You're saying Umbra is still making trouble for you?"
"When she's not trying to hit on Eclipse or Solaris. And even when she does try to get at them, she winds up getting shot down by them."
"So where is she now?" Saffira and the guys groaned.
"She'll be showing up in 3...2...1..."
"Saffira!", Umbra shouted! "You meet your end today!"
"Right on cue.", Cynder said with a pout. "She's gone from menacing to just annoying."
"Time to see if she lasts as long as Sombra...", Burst said with a smirk. "It's time to duel!"

Duel 3: Old enemy, new gender
Umbra appeared from a swirl of shadow with a dark smile on her face as she walked towards Burst and Saffira and their friends. "The time has come Saffira! Prepare to..." Umbra paused when she noticed Burst. "Well, well. What handsome specimen do we have here? You didn't tell me you had a twin brother." Umbra then brushed her hand on Burst's cheek. "So what's your name?" Burst brushed off her hand.
"One. I'm not her brother. I'm her counterpart from another dimension. Two. My name is Burst Stream. And three. I'm taken." Burst then showed her a picture of him with Celestia and Moon. "Sorry." Umbra pouted.
"You're kidding me! They're even hotter than me!"
"Could you just leave these guys alone? You're coming off more as annoying than menacing. And for goodness sake STOP hitting on Saffira's boyfriends. So how about it?" Umbra then got an idea, and a grin appeared on her face.
"I'll leave them alone forever if you beat me in a duel. But on one condition..."
"And that would be?"
"If you lose, you have to be my love-slave for a whole week!"
"...Challenge accepted. It's time to duel!"
Burst: 8000 Umbra: 8000
"I'll take the first move! I play Fires of Doomsday to special summon two tokens! Now I tribute them to bring out Dragon Core Hexer! I end my turn. Your move.", Umbra said with a wink.
"I draw! Nice! I summon Maiden with Eyes of Blue in attack mode and end my turn!"
"Not the best move, but I like a guy who likes to take risks! Attack Dragon Core Hexer!"
"Not so fast! I activate Maiden's effect! If she's targeted for an attack, I can negate the attack and special summon a Blue Eyes White Dragon from my hand, deck, or graveyard! I'll special summon one from my deck!"
"Looks like Maiden has some protective boyfriends. I end my turn."
"My move! I'll discard a card to activate The Melody of Awakening Dragon! I'll discard one card to add two dragons with 3000 or more attack and 2500 or less defense from my deck to my hand! Now I'll reveal a Blue Eyes in my hand to special summon Blue Eyes Alternative White Dragon! Now I'll discard Sage with Eyes of Blue and target Maiden! Maiden may go to the graveyard but I get to special summon the Blue Eyes in my hand! Now I'll use Alternative's effect! I can target and destroy one monster you control! Your Dragon Core Hexer just got fried! Now my other two Blue Eyes White Dragons attack you directly! White Lightning!" Umbra winced as she took the full force of the attack! "That's all for my turn."
Burst: 8000 Umbra: 2000
"i like a guys who can push me to my limits.", Umbra said with a smirk.
"Please stop flirting with me. I'm not interested!" Umbra pouted.
"Your loss. My move! I play Dark Hole to destroy all monsters on the field! Now I play Advanced Ritual Art! I'll send a normal monster with the exact level of the ritual monster I want to summon! I ritual summon Dark Mistress Zeria! Now I'll play the Megamorph equip spell! Since my life points are lower than yours, Zeria's attack doubles! Attack! Dark Thunder!" A bolt of black thunder struck Burst directly! "I end my turn by setting a card face-down."
Burst: 2600 Umbra: 2000
"Well this has been fun, but it's time for me to end this! I draw! I play Trade-In to discard a level eight monster from my hand to draw two new cards! I play the spell card Harmony Absolute! I'll banish one Blue Eyes White Dragon from my graveyard to bring out Blue Eyes Absolute Dragon! Now he gains 300 attack for each monster in my graveyard! Last I checked, there were five monsters in my graveyard, so he gains 1500 attack! Destroy her Zeria! Absolute Neutron Blast!"
"You played right into my hands! I activate my trap! Magic Cylinder! This deals your own monster's attack points as damage!"
"I don't think so! Blue Eyes Absolute's effect activates! He's unaffected by card effects, so your Magic Cylinder won't make a dent or even stop him! Also, you just gave me life point boost!"
"WHAT?!"
"When a card effect would deal me damage, Blue Eyes Absolute makes it so that my life points are increased by the amount of damage instead!" Umbra braced herself as Zeria was destroyed! "I end my turn."
Burst: 8100 Umbra: 900
"Let's see just how absolute your dragon really is! I discard a card to activate Lightning Vortex! This destroys all monsters you control!" A flash of lightning rained down from the sky and struck Blue Eyes Absolute! But when the dust cleared, Blue Eyes was still on the field! "I guess he really is absolute.", Umbra said with a nervous smile. "Please be gentle!"
"Let's end this Blue Eyes! Absolute Neutron Blast!" Blue Eyes nodded as he fired off his signature attack! A rainbow-colored neutron blast blanketed Umbra's field! Wiping out the last of her life points! "And that's game!" Umbra was pouting. "Wanna drown your sorrows in root beer floats." Umbra sniffled.
"Yeah. I'd like that."

Duel 4: Gathering Darkness
"So you see, we can get the same thing that we both need.", Metamorphosis said. "You make them adore you, and I get their love. Sound good?"
"I'll admit. Your offer is quite ideal.", Allegro said with a smirk. "I suppose my brothers and I could work with you. We get to feed off the students' negativity by stirring up competition, and you get the love the students will have for us when we get them to adore us."
"Then it seems we agree. Bindings." Metamorphosis teleported away.
"Taking over is going to be a piece of cake. I can already hear the crowd shouting our name..." The Bindings left to plan their scheme to take over CHS alongside Metamorphosis. "After all. It's not like there's anyone who stands a chance against us."

The two groups of heroes were touring around the gender-swap dimension's CHS. "Everything's the same somehow. The only difference being the genders of the people we know.", Burst said as he and his friends observed their surroundings. Saffira giggled.
"In that case, let us show you around some more familiar territory. Time for you to meet my boyfriends." Saffira went to Principal Solaris's office. "Hey Solaris. Hi Eclipse." Two guys who looked like male versions of Celestia and Moon.
"Hello Saffira. Always nice to see you.", Solaris said with a pleasant smile.
"Hey beautiful.", Eclipse said with a flirty tone as he wrapped his arms around her. "It's been too long." Eclipse kissed her full on.
"You're always trying to one-up me aren't you?", Solaris asked with a small smile.
"Hey. I've literally been the man of her dreams.", Eclipse said with a smirk. "Well, actually that makes both of us if you consider the dream dates. I swear her whole body must have been blushing when we made-out with her." Saffira blushed at remembering that moment. "So anyway, who're your new friends? They look like twin brothers and sisters of your friends."
"We're here from another dimension.", Inferno replied. "Aside from the gender swap, everything is pretty much the same. But why're you at school on the weekend?"
"The upcoming music showcase is coming up.", Glare answered. "A lot of the performers are using the gym for practice. The Rainbooms and I are definitely entering!"
"So do any of you and your friends have any plans on entering? The guys and I have put on some pretty sweet performances.", Burst asked Saffira.
"Not really. But we are gonna cheer our friends.", Saffira said with a smile. "Besides. We'd be shoe-ins to win. We're too good."
"Well if you aren't entering, we're definitely going to!", Steel said with a grin. "Now all we need is a good band name."
"I've got one.", Burst replied. " How about...Heart of the Cards ?"
"....Awesome.", Inferno said. "We should probably call up the rest of our friends. We've gotta make a quick run to our world and back. Just sit tight!" The main universe group went off to their world. Saffira and her friends decided to take a look at the different acts going on at the upcoming showcase. Everyone seemed to be getting along until three guys walked in and started showing off their singing skills. Soon all the students were at each other's throats!
"Guys...I'm feeling a pretty strong dark magic.", Glare said. "Something tells me those three are here for more than just a chance to show-off their skills..." The Bindings were feeling pretty good about things so far. They'd gotten a great haul of negativity and they'd seem to have won an audience.
"Let's split up for now guys.", Allegro said. "Might as well kill some time." The three of them split up and went their separate ways, and each of them bumped into a girl on their way. "Oh! Didn't see you..." Allegro paused as he saw a girl with brown skin and green and yellow hair was in front of him."there." Venus quickly blushed.
"My bad! I should've looked where I was going!" Allegro smiled at her. Not a scheming smile or a dark one. One that you get when you see someone that's caught your interest.
"It's alright. You're a shy little flower aren't you? I'm Allegro. Allegro Bind. What's your name?"
"Venus. Venus Bloomer."
"It suits you. You look as lovely as the goddess herself." Venus turned red after hearing that! "Do you have any plans?"
"N-no."
"Then it looks like we have some time to kill together." Allegro offered her his arm. "That is...if you're interested." Venus smiled as she latched on. 'Maybe this world isn't so bad... ' Meanwhile, Arrow had run into a girl of his own.
"Ow! Watch it!", Arrow snapped! He soon spotted a girl with gray skin and purple hair before him. Oddly enough, she looked like she had wolf ears and a tail. She nearly jumped at seeing him and gave him puppy dog eyes.
"I'm sorry! I didn't look where I was walking!" Any frustration Arrow had left him instantly the second she gave him those eyes.
"N-no. It's my fault. I should've given you a warning.", Arrow said with a slight blush. "Sooo, are you a cosplayer? Those ears and tail look pretty realistic."
"Oh! Y-yeah! I like to wear them so much I forget to take them off!", Moonlight said. "I'm Moonlight by the way! Nice to meet you!"
'She's kinda cute. Maybe this place isn't the worst afterall. ', Arrow thought with a smile. "I'm Arrow Blaze. Hey, Moonlight? I've got no plans. You wanna hit up the town?"
"I'd love to!", Moonlight chirped as Arrow lead her on. Serenade on the other hand had a much more pleasant altercation with the girl he ran into. He had accidentally bumped into her while daydreaming about tacos.
"Oh man! Are you okay?", Snowstorm asked. Serenade shook off the fall and smiled at her.
"I'm OK! My brothers say I've got a thick skull. So I took that as a compliment!" Serenade took a moment to take in the girl's appearance. "Wow. You're pretty! I'm Serenade!"
"Oh. Thank you. I'm Snowstorm."
"Oh! Because you've got skin as white as snow! Wanna grab something to eat?"
"Well...if you don't have any other plans."
"Great!" Serenade hoisted her onto his back and carried her on his shoulders like he was her personal mode of transport. "Hope you like having a good time!" Snowstorm smiled.
'He's pretty sweet. Shadow and Ice would kill to have a guy like him. ', she thought to herself. Meanwhile, Burst had brought Celestia, Moon, Gold, Ace, Ice, Shadow, Venus, Fang, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata through the portal. The others decided to meet them there. All of them were about to get to introducing them to their counterparts when Sunset Glare rushed up to them.
"We've got trouble." Glare told them about the three guys who had showed up earlier and what had gone on while they were there. "And that's what's happened. Care to help us out?"
"Adagio, those guys sound like male versions of us.", Aria stated.
"Then chances are they have the same plan we did. Our best bet is seeing if we can find our boyfriends' counterparts and ours. Hopefully we can convince them to turn back." Adagio's face was solemn for a moment. "I don't want them to go through what happened to us."
"And if it doesn't work?", Glare asked.
"Easy.", Burst replied. "We rock the dragon!"

"You know Allegro, I had a pretty good time so far.", Venus said with a smile. "Although I think some of the other girls at our date found you...distracting." Allegro let out a chuckle.
"I consider that a compliment. Because I only focused my attention on you." Venus blushed at hearing that. Then she turned her attention to Allegro's necklace.
"That necklace of yours is beautiful."
"Thanks. It's a...family heirloom. My brothers and I each have one."
"C-could I try it on?" Allegro was completely shocked by her request! This girl had no idea that this was no mere piece of jewelry! It's what gave him and his brothers their magic and their singing voices! But after looking in her eyes, he relented.
"I suppose." Allegro took off his necklace and put it around Venus's neck. He smiled when he saw it on her. "You do wear it quite well."
"You know despite how flirty you are, you're pretty sweet when you want to be." Allegro was caught off-guard when Venus kissed him. "I wonder if you're quite the performer. Your name is Allegro after all."
"Well, I do have a bit of experience serenading the ladies. But I'll be needing my necklace back for this performance."
"Oh no. Let's see how you do without your lucky charm!", Venus said with a smirk. "It's not like this thing is the reason for your skills right?"
'Every rose DOES have its thorn! ' "Alright. But be prepared for a trainwreck.", Allegro said with a nervous smile. "Although lonliness has always been a friend of mine. I'm leaving my life in your hands! People say I'm crazy and that I am blind. Risking it all in a glance. And how you got me blind is still a mystery. I can't get you out of my head! Don't care what is written in your history. As long as you're here with me! I don't care who you are, where you're from, what you did. As long as you love me! Who you are. Where you're from. Don't care what you did. As long as love me! " Allegro braced himself for the sheer amount of fail headed his way. But to his surprise, Venus was in awe.
"I am so keeping this recording! That was so beautiful!", Venus cheered. "Your name suits how beautiful your voice was. Oh! Here's your necklace back!" Allegro was shocked! As long as he could remember, his necklace had been the source of his magic and his voice! Why now, when he met this girl, did he not need it all of a sudden?! Then he remembered an old story back in Equestria.
'That old story couldn't be true! Could it?' "Actually, you keep it. I don't need it for luck. After all..." Allegro pulled in Venus for a tight hug. "now I have a number one fan. Hope you catch me at the music showcase this weekend. In specific tomorrow at CHS."
"It's a date.", Venus said with a smile as she left. As he watched her leave, Allegro's heart was fluttering.
"So this is what true love feels like.", he said with a smile. "It feels pretty good." Meanwhile, Arrow was enjoying his date with Moonlight.
"You're like a puppy. I just can't get over how cute you are.", Arrow said with a smile. "Those ears really drive the point though." Moonlight blushed a little and smiled.
"Well your last name matches the fire in your eyes. So does that gem on your necklace. It's really pretty!"
"Thanks. My brothers have two just like it. They're kind of like family treasures." Arrow then had an idea. "Hold on for a minute." Arrow took off his necklace and put it on Moonlight. "I didn't think it was possible, but you wearing it makes you look cuter." Arrow then scratched one of Moonlight's ears.
"Hehehehe! That tickles!" Moonlight then rested herself on his lap. "You're so comfy! I could take a nap on you right now!" Arrow blushed and tried to salvage his shock with a joke.
"Want me to sing you to sleep too?"
"Hmm. Yeah." Moonlight said before she kissed him. Arrow was nervous about needing his gem to sing, but decided it was too risky to take it off her now. Arrow began to sing, and was shocked to hear that his voice sounded better!
'Weird...but I'll take it. ' Arrow then looked at Moonlight curling up her tail around her. ' Cosplay. Riiight.' Arrow smiled as she slept on him. Just enjoying her company. Serenade on the other hand was having the time of his life!
"BEST. DAY. EVER!", he screamed as he dug into his ice cream. Snowstorm let out a giggle at how adorable Serenade was.
"You certainly let the inner child out a lot.", she said with a smile. "I had a lot of fun today Serenade."
"Aw! Thanks Snow!" Serenade pulled her into a tight hug.
"That's very sweet of you. But I can't breathe!"
"Whoops. Sorry about that!" Serenade smiled and stared at Snowstorm. "It was nice being with you. My brothers can be major grumps sometimes. So it's nice to see someone happy for a change."
"I'd say the gem on your necklace suits your bright personality. Can I try it on?"
"Allegro and Arrow would chew me out if they found out I let you try this on....but I don't see them around!" Serenade took off his necklace and Snowstorm put it around her neck. "Wow. It looks really nice on you!"
"You're such a sweetheart." Snowstorm then kissed Serenade! "Wanna hit up a karaoke joint? I'm sure we can afford to make fools of ourselves before this date ends."
"Sweet!" The two hit up the local karaoke joint and sang their hearts out! To his surprise, Serenade was pretty good despite the fact that he suddenly realized he wasn't wearing his necklace! 'Just keep going with it Serenade! Hopefully no one will notice! ' The two of them finished their performance and bowed. "Huh. That went better than I thought."
"Sure did! You killed it up there!", Snowstorm said with a smile. "Here's your necklace back. So when can I see you again?"
"There's a music showcase tomorrow at CHS. You can catch me and my brothers there! See ya!" Serenade ran off in a good mood and met back up with his brothers to tell them the good news. "Guys! You won't believe what happened!"
"You met a girl that's caught your interest and somehow you don't need your gem anymore.", Allegro stated.
"How did you know?!"
"The same thing happened to me and Arrow. Since we didn't need them anymore, we gave away ours as first date presents. Serenade? You okay? You're grinning more than usual."
"Sweet! Then I can give mine to Snowstorm after we take the stage!"
"We don't need to feed on negativity anymore, but isn't it only fair that we still let Metamorphosis have all that love?", Arrow asked.
"Of course! After all it's not like we're going to be facing a band that will rival us!" Back with Burst and the others, Burst had just activated his dragon powers and pulled off an epic finale!

"Also they can activate this power at anytime. Making it a lot more convenient.", Sunset Glare stated. "We're going to need all we've got for this battle."

"Okay. That is OFFICIALLY your catchphrase."

"Come on! How hard can it be to find our counterparts?!", Adagio fumed.
"Oh! Maybe you can try dialing your number!", Sonata suggested.
"....Why not? It's not like there's any better ideas." Adagio dialed up her number, and to her surprise her counterpart answered! "Uh, hello? Who am I speaking to? Well Allegro, this is a matter that concerns you and your family. We're at CHS. Yes you can bring your girlfriend along. Thank you. Goodbye. I can't believe how easy that was." Soon enough, the Bindings arrived and were shocked to see their counterparts in front of them! So were their girlfriends.
"...I think I need to call my sisters.", Snowstorm said. "Ice? Shade? You two need to get to school RIGHT NOW." Snow's sister arrived and their jaws dropped.
"Well...this is new.", Shade said.
"Good to look my counterpart is as hot as I am.", Allegro said with a wink. "But why did you call us?"
"Please don't try to take over CHS. It'll only end badly. Take it from us. We tried and failed, and we were hated for a bit for it."
"Th-that's so sad!", Serenade sobbed as Snowstorm helped him dry his tears.
"Then how'd you manage to get boyfriends if everyone hated your guts?", Arrows asked.
"Eventually people began to accept us, and we got our singing back thanks to our boyfriends' love. Soon enough we had actual friends.", Aria answered. "But from the looks of it, you don't need to feed on negativity anymore and you're found yourselves girlfriends that are counterparts to our guys. Looks like you gave them your necklaces too."
"We're not going to take over. We've got all the fans we need.", Allegro said with a smile as he held Venus close. "But we're still performing at the battle. We've got to keep our deal with Metamorphosis. He'll get all the love the crowd feels for us."
"You're trusting the counterpart of the Changeling Queen?! Are you crazy?!", Aria screamed. "What makes you think you can trust him?!"
"We don't.", Arrow said flatly. "If he tries anything, we're giving him the smack-down." Arrow cracked his knuckles to drive the point. Meanwhile, Shadow and Ice were talking to their counterparts.
"Wait. You two aren't dating Starlight or Indigo's counterparts?", Shadow asked.
"Well for starters, we don't even know what they look like.", Shade replied.
"This should help get you familiar with them." Ice showed them a picture of him and Shadow with Indigo and Starlight. "Just picture guy versions of those two, and you'll be good."
"...Sweet.", Icestorm said with a smile as she imagined Indigo's counterpart. "We'll definitely keep that in mind."
"You know, I think things might be working out just fine. See you Allegro. We'll be rooting for you.", Adagio said as she and her friends took their leave. Meanwhile, The Bindings went to find Metamorphosis. They soon found him, and he sensed their presence.
"Well, well. Looks like some people have picked up a girlfriend of three."
"Meta. What do you plan to do once you have all that love energy?", Allegro asked in a firm tone.
"Isn't it obvious? Take over this world. And you'll feed off the negativity the humans will feel for me."
"Deal's off bug boy.", Arrow said. "We don't need to feed of negativity anymore! And we kind of like this world. So that means we're taking you down!" Arrow summoned his duel disk and his brothers did the same! "You're going down!"
"I don't think so. Not if you value your girls.", Metamorphosis said with a sneer as he showed each of the Bindings' respective girlfriends trapped in cocoons! "I can't guarantee their safety if you don't put on a show."
"...You win.", Allegro said with a scowl.

The Battle of the Bands had been nothing short of epic! Each group was giving all that they had! But when it came down to the final two, only The Bindings and Heart of the Cards were left standing. "Looks like it's time to rock out.", Burst said with a smile. "Hope you don't plan on holding back!" Allegro smirked in return.
"As if. Only one of us is going to be left standing after this." The Bindings began to sing and the crowd cheered for them as they performed. Metamorphosis had a greedy smile as he fed off the love that the Bindings were showered with from their fans. Suddenly, a mighty roar of an electric guitar was heard! Burst and his band were on an opposite stage! Burst grabbed a microphone, and sang his heart out!

Burst then finished the song with an epic guitar solo that launched an energy projection of Blue Eyes right at the Bindings! Knocking them off their feet! The whole crowd was silent for a moment, and then cheered louder than ever! "Thank you CHS!", Burst shouted! Metamorphosis was furious! He walked up to the Bindings with a scowl on his face!
"You failed me! Just for that I'm going to drain your girlfriends dry of all their love!"
"Looking for us bug boy?!", Moonlight shouted! Metamorphosis froze! "Sunset Glare and the others freed us!"
"Deals off Meta!", Allegro said with a smirk. Metamorphosis growled, but stopped as a sinister smile crept across his face.
"Fools! I've still gained great power from all the love energy I've absorbed! Prepare to meet your end!" Metamorphosis sprouted bug wings and a horn and launched a devastating magical blast right at everyone! But the blast was sent flying away by Burst! "What?! Who are you?!" Burst smiled as he replied.
"Just a guy who's the main hero." Burst then leaped up to Metamorphosis and landed a powerful kick into his side! Metamorphosis was sent falling to the ground! As he recovered, he summoned a scimitar made of his magic and charged at Burst as he landed! Burst summoned his own weapons and knocked him back with a surge of energy as he activated his dragon powers! While Metamorphosis was stunned, Burst fired off a shot from his blaster and dashed forward as his sword gathered energy!
"WHITE LIGHTNING STRIKE!", Burst screamed as he unleashed a powerful energy slash that struck Metamorphosis full force! Metamorphosis growled as he recovered. "I'll tell you what. I'm giving you another chance to beat me. But you'll have to duel against me and Saffira. Or, you can leave now and never make trouble again." Metamorphosis snorted.
"I never refuse a challenge!" Metamorphosis summoned his duel disk while Saffira and Burst summoned and activated their own!
"It's time to duel!"

"Defeating you fools should be all too easy!", Metamorphosis said with a sneer. "First, I'll play the field spell Spider Web! Now I play the spell card Spiders' Lair! Next I summon Ground Spider in defense mode and end my turn."
"I draw!", Burst said. "I play Trade-In to discard a level eight monster and draw two new cards! Now I reveal one Blue Eyes in my hand to special summon Blue Eyes Alternative White Dragon! Then I'll play Return of the Dragon Lords to revive Dragon Spirit of White! Once he's special summoned I can banish one spell or trap card you control! I choose to banish Spiders' Lair!"
"Not so fast! I change your Alternative White Dragon to defense mode!"
"Too bad. At least for you anyway! I activate Alternative's effect to destroy Ground Spider! Now Dragon Spirit attacks you directly!" Metamorphosis braced himself as a blast of lightning hit him directly! "I'll set a card and end my turn."
Burst and Saffira: 16000 Metamorphosis: 13500
"Now Spider Web's effect activates! Your monster is changed to defense mode! Now that it's my turn, I can send the two face-up defense mode monsters you control to the graveyard to special summon Mother Spider! Now I'll attack you directly!" Burst winced as he and Saffira's life points took a hit! "I end my turn with one card face-down."

"My turn! I draw!", Saffira said as she drew a card. "I reveal one Blue Eyes White Dragon to special summon Blue Eyes Alternative! Next I summon Kaiba Woman and tribute her to special summon the Blue Eyes I revealed! Now I'll use Alternative's effect to destroy your monster! Now attack him directly Blue Eyes! White Lightning!" Metamorphosis shielded himself as he took damage! "Next I'll set a card and end my turn."

"Hmph. Nothing more than a lucky move! It's time I put you two in your place! I, King Metamorphosis, shall rule over all of you! I play Double Summon to bring out Double Coston! Now I tribute him to summon Earthbound Immortal Uru!" A gigantic spider rose from the ground in an eerie light! "Now Spider Web switches your Blue Eyes White Dragon to defense mode! Now Uru's ability activates! He can attack you directly!" Saffira and Burst cringed as they took the full force of the attack! "Impressive. You take all that damage and yet you still will not bow before me. I believe I've let you suffer enough for this turn. Also, Uru can't be targeted for attacks!"

"The bigger they are, the harder they fall! My turn!", Burst said. "Perfect! "NO!" Metamorphosis scowled as Uru was struck down with a bolt of lightning!
"Now Blue Eyes! Attack him directly! White Lightning!" Metamorphosis cringed as he took the full force of Blue Eyes' attack! "I end my turn!"

"Grrr! How can people like you push me this far back?! No matter! Your monster is still switched into defense mode at the end of damage calculation! Now I play Earthbound Revival!"
"No you don't! I activate my trap! Champion's Vigilance! Since Blue Eyes is a level eight normal monster, I can negate and destroy the activation of a spell or trap, or negate and destroy a monster summon! Say goodbye to your revival!"
"Curse you! I summon a monster in defense mode and end my turn!"
"It's my move now!", Saffira said as she drew a card. "Perfect! I discard a card to activate The Melody of Awakening Dragon! I add two monsters with 3000 or more attack and 2500 or less defense to my hand! Now I play the ritual spell Chaos Form! I tribute the Blue Eyes White Dragon on my field to ritual summon Blue Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon! Now I'll use Alternative's effect to destroy your monster! Attack him directly Chaos MAX! Chaos Burst!" Metamorphosis shielded himself as he took damage! "I end my turn."

"This can't be happening! How can I lose to weakling like you?!"
"You're the only weak one here Metamorphosis. You're too scared to fight fair-and-square, so you stick to hiding and tricks! You use others to do your dirty work! Well now there's nowhere for you to hide!"
"Ngh! Silence! I summon a monster in defense mode! Even if you manage to get at my life points, I'll remain in this duel one turn longer!"
"I don't think so. I activate Alternative's effect to destroy your monster! Now I activate the spell card Harmony Absolute! I'll tribute the Blue Eyes White Dragon on my field and bring out my best monster! Come on out! Blue Eyes Absolute Dragon!" Blue Eyes let out a mighty roar as he descended from the heavens clad in platinum armor! "Let's finish this guy together Saffira!"
"Right!" Both Blue Eyes Absolute and Blue Eyes Chaos MAX charged up their attacks for the finishing blow!
"W-wait! Can't we talk this out?!", Metamorphosis pleaded with a nervous smile. Burst and Saffira waited until their dragons' attack was charged to their peak.
"Jackpot.", the two of them said in unison as their dragons let loose a mighty final attack!
"NOOOO!", Metamorphosis screamed as his life points dropped to zero! When the light died down, Burst and Saffira stood triumphant! Metamorphosis was lying a crater with a shocked expression on his face. "...I surrender. I just wanted to find a girlfriend here. Was that too much to ask for?" Saffira giggled.
"Meta. I think I know the perfect girl for you..." Saffira then turned to Berry and Pinkie. "I believe you two know what time it is?" Berry and Pinkie grinned and nodded.
"IT'S PARTY TIME!"

The party soon went into full swing. While Burst and his friends were enjoying themselves, Rainbow Blitz brought over six kids who resembled the CMC and CMCB only with their gender swapped. "Hey Burst! Looks like your duel and your performance earned you some fans!" Blitz introduced each of them. In specific, he mentioned his little sister Speed Stinger and her friends Diamond Note and Batter Up.
"That was an awesome performance!", Diamond Note nearly squealed. "Especially that dragon that flew out of your guitar!"
"Yeah. That was pretty sick. But what was cooler was the dragon eyes and wings and your dueling skills!", Speed Stinger said with a grin. "Do you think I'll ever be able to do something like that?" Burst chuckled.
"If you share a strong bond with your monsters, you'll be able to do it anytime you want. Like this!" Burst activated his powers and turned them off shortly after. "Now all of you try. Focus on the monster you share a bond with." The CMC focused and soon found that they had dragon wings and eyes!
"Let's show these off to our boyfriends!", Diamond Note suggested. The three ran off to display their newfound powers. Meanwhile, Umbra and Metamorphosis seemed to be hitting it off pretty well. The two were splitting a strawberry sundae at the moment. Umbra noticed a bit of ice cream on Meta's lip and dove in for a kiss. Needless to say Meta was left pleasantly surprised. Meanwhile Burst joined up with Celestia and Moon while they were talking with Solaris, Eclipse, and Saffira.
"No way! You were gutsy enough to join her in the shower?!", Moon asked Eclipse.
"And we enjoyed every minute. Even if she was blushing the whole time.", Eclipse said with a smile as Saffira playfully punched him.
"You forget you're talking to a girl who could send you flying about three blocks.", Saffira said with a smirk.
"I think that's only attracting him to you further.", Solaris said with a smile.
"Hey. I like a girl who can kick my butt.", Eclipse replied. "So how have you two lovely ladies faired with Burst? He seems lucky to have gotten such loving women."
"We shared a bed for a whole night.", Burst replied with a smile. "Best sleep I ever had being held close by these two. And an even better wake-up. Celestia even joined me in the shower after I got breakfast ready for all of us."
"Just consider it a token of appreciation.", Celestia said lovingly as she and Moon kissed Burst. Solaris and Eclipse followed suit with Saffira. Burst then had an idea and ran off to gather his friends and their counterparts. They all gathered as Pinkie and Berry got the camera ready.
"Just a little something to remember this adventure." Everyone had big smiles as the flash went off. The party soon ended, and Burst and his friends headed back through the portal. Before he left Burst gave their new friends a few parting words. "Rock the dragon guys! See ya around!" Burst returned home as he and his friends counterparts waved farewell.
"So what do we do now?", Jack asked. Glare noticed Umbra and Metamorphosis making out.
"I say we give the lovebirds their space." Back in the main world, all of the guys' girlfriends were gathered together.
"Does everyone have their lists?", Celestia asked. Each of the girls nodded. "Perfect! We'll be able to get their presents before things get too crazy."

Duel 1: A whole new world
The weekend. One of the best times to relax for Burst and his friends. That is until he and the others got a text from Twilight that she had opened a portal to another dimension. "Well we might as well see what's up." Burst and the others soon arrived at Twilight's house. She seemed pretty excited to see them all.
"You made it! Come on! The portal's in my lab! Oh I can't wait to see what's on the other side!"
"Wait. You made a portal to another dimension and you didn't even bother to check where it leads to?", Sunset asked.
"Well that's the point of us testing it out!", Twilight said with an almost crazed smile. "Just imagine the possibilities!"
"As long as we don't rip the universe in half, we should be fine.", Burst said. "So let's see just where the portal leads."
"Only one way to find out!" The group then arrived at Twilight's lab and prepared to go through the portal. They all entered the portal, and in a flash of light they found themselves in the exact same spot. "Well, we're back in the same spot. Maybe this alternate dimension is almost exactly the same. Maybe there's only slight differences." Twilight had a slightly disappointed frown on her face. "Hey. There might be something still radically different." Everyone turned their heads to the sound of the lab door opening. In stepped a guys who looked exactly like Twilight if she were a dude! "Uh, we come in peace?" Dusk Shine couldn't believe it. In front of him stood gender swapped versions of his friends. And he did the only logical thing he could at the moment. He fainted.
"Well we made a lasting impression. You gotta give us that.", Inferno said with a nervous smile.

Duel 8: The Threat Revealed
"Are we really going to take this Allegro?!", Arrow shouted. "That creep has our girls! Why should we do anything he asks of us?! Where's the guarantee that he'll let them go once we do this?! Why should we even trust him to keep his word?!"
"I don't trust him at all.", Allegro said flatly. "We've got to find the element bearers of this world. Maybe they can help us..." The Bindings left for CHS, and sure enough found Glare and his friends as well as Burst and his friends. "Glare. We know you're the elements of harmony for this world."
"So did you come here just to pick us off before we even have a chance?", Glare asked coldly. Then his girlfriend Phoenix put her hand on his shoulder.
"Come on Glare. If they'd have wanted to take us down they would have done it earlier. Please. Tell us what brings you here."
"Metamorphosis captured our girlfriends and is using them as leverage." Burst walked up to Allegro and looked him in the eye.
"We'll take care of Meta. You just worry about saving your girls."
"How are you so sure you can beat him?!" Burst activated his dragon powers. "...Never mind. So I guess we should cancel our performance?"
"You kidding? It'd be rude to keep your fans waiting.", Burst said with a smile. "Besides. Since you escalated the showcase into a battle of the bands, I've made it our point to beat you! Don't you dare make it easy by dropping out! And if Meta does show up, Saffira and I can handle him! You with me? Glare? You and the Rainbooms might wanna pull out so you can rescue the Bindings' girlfriends." Saffira nodded. And Glare gave Burst a thumbs-up.
"Let's squash that bug!"
"No fair! We wanted to come up with the plan!", Gold and Phoenix protested.
"You two can get the next one.", Sunset and Glare said with smiles. Allegro shook hands with Burst.
"Then may the best band win."
