Load Full StoryIt was that time of the year. The year where everypony celebrates the most wonderful holiday in Equestria. Heart's Warming. What!? You think I'm talking about Christmas? No, Christmas is a human holiday. Heart's Warming is a pony holiday and this is my first time celebrating it. Oh, you don't know who I am? Well, My name is Soundcheck and long story short, I was a human got sent to Equestria by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna to save everypony from King Sombra with my friends which we are known as the Heroes. A rock band who defeated his smokey ass.
Okay, I think I'm wasting my time here, Let's get to the story shall we?
Me, Sonata and Trixie had finish our Heart's Warming Eve shopping. I only hold two presents while Sonata and Trixie each hold one.
"I love Heart's Warming Eve!" Sonata shouted with joy. "You are gonna love this holiday, Soundcheck."
It's true, I am gonna enjoy this holiday. Heart's Warming was like Christmas.
I look at Sonata and smiled. "Well, I am in the holiday mood."
Trixie scoffs "I don't care about that holiday, all I care about is some eggnog," this made me rolled my eyes.
"You like Heart's Warming don't you?" I deadpanned.
She put her head down and sigh. "Yes, I do."
We continue to walk in the snowy woods since it was where we parked Metallica to get some rest from all the concerts we perform. I stop and pulled out Screwball 2.
"What are you doing?" Trixie ask, raising an eyebrow.
I turn to her and smile. "Well, I figured I play a 'Heart's Warming Eve' song to pass the time. After all, the tour bus is at least seventeen blocks away from here."
Sonata's eyes lit up. "Are you gonna play The Batmare song?"
Okay, that was just random of her. Trixie face palm and I chuckle a bit. "No, it's a new holiday song you might not heard."
As we walk, I then played my guitar and music plays and The Pick of Destiny changes my voice when I sing.
As I finished my song, we heard a deep growl.
"What was that?" Ask Trixie, looking scared.
"Ma-maybe, it's a-a-a bear," Sonata replied, shaking in fear.
"I don't think a bear would sound like that," I stated.
They look at me like I was acting weird. The deep growl was heard again causing us to jump. Trixie and Sonata huddle around me. Not that I hate it, but I really like it.
Before any of us spoke, we then see a huge shadowy figure approaching us. We couldn't get a good look at it, but judging by its size, it was MASSIVE! The shadowy figure pointed at me and spoke in a deep monsterous voice.
"You."
"Who? Us?" I ask, pointing at me and the girls.
The shadowy figure shook its head. "No, just you."
Trixie looks at me still horrified at what it wants from me. "Do you know him?" She ask me.
"No. I don't," I replied, shaking my head.
Sonata smiled at me as if she's trying to feel better. "Maybe it's Santa hooves."
Santa Hooves? Really? Must be the pony version of Santa Claus. The shadowy figure laughs at Sonata's statement before sighing and locking eyes at us. "No, I'm not Santa Hooves but rather the opposite of him."
"What do mean?" Trixie ask, being suspicious now.
"I mean that I'm the one who is here to take away bad boys like him."
Bad boy?! I'm not bad am I?
"Alright, who are you and why do you want me?" That made the shadowy figure laugh at my question.
"My name is Krampus and I'm here to take you to my lair," The shadowy figure known as Krampus steps out of the shadows to reveal himself to be a ten foot tall creature that looks a cross between Sasquatch, Santa Claus and a goat.
Our eyes widen in horror by the sight of him. I heard about him when I was a kid when my Grandma told me about him. How he whips naughty kids and takes them to is lair to either torture them or kill them depending on his choice.
"Why do you want, Soundcheck? He's not bad," Sonata ask, only for Krampus to smirk at her question.
"Not here he hasn't, but in his world he was very naughty. And it's my job to take the naughty ones to my home to teach them a lesson."
"What did he do their?"
"Last year in his home world, he ripped off "Santa's" beard, He pee in the snow, he shoplifted the mall and he was playing loud music at the Church I also stole some MLP toys."
Trixie and Sonata both gave me a stern look. "What!? That was only four years ago I learn my lesson," I said, putting my hands in defense.
"I can't believe you rip Santa's beard," Sonata said, glaring at me.
"You even peed in the snow and that is gross," Trixie added, also glaring at me.
"Look I'm sorry about that. I was just having a bad day," I said. "Besides, it's all in the past now. Can't we just move on?"
Before one of them said anything, Krampus interjected. "You can forget the past all you want, but that doesn't mean I'm letting it slide. Now, get in my sack."
He pulled out a large black sack and opening it as he faced it at me.
He motions me to get in, but I was stopped by Sonata who grab my arms. "Please, don't do this. You can just come with us for the holidays."
Trixie pipes up. "Yes, you said that what you did was four years ago. You can still have Heart's Warming with us. The Heroes wouldn't be the same without you."
"SILENCE!!!" Krampus shouted making us look at him with wide eyes. "You will get in this sack and you will do it now!?"
I took a second to think about. I did say what I did was four years ago. So, I did one thing that I know Krampus would not like.
"Why don't you fuck off," I said, getting a gasp from Trixie and Sonata and a death glare from Krampus.
"What!?" He bellowed.
"You heard me. I'm not going in your damn sack. I said that these things I did was four years ago. It's all the past now. I have better things to do then just go in your shitty sack and get tortured or killed by you. I have friends and family here in both Earth and Equestria. You can take away my life but you can never take MY FREEDOM!" Okay, that last line was from Braveheart.
They felt tears in their eyes like they heard a happy story while Krampus looks like he's about to go all Hulk on us. "So, that's how it's gonna be huh? In that case, I shall kill you and your two friends!"
"You have to fight us first," I said, taking out Screwball 2.
Sonata and Trixie join in no longer scared of him.
"I see you both want to fight," I said, getting some smiles on their faces.
"We can't let you have all the fun," Trixie said with confident
"Yeah, this Krampus guy is gonna be sorry," Sonata chimed in.
I love my new friends. "Well, then let's do this!" I said as music plays in the background before the three of us charged at him.
Krampus put his sack down and smacks us in the air. We landed on our backs when we hit the snow. "Damn he's strong."
"We need to think smart and beat him," Trixie said, getting up.
"Can we give him a hug?" Sonata ask, making us roll our eyes.
Like that's gonna work. Krampus roars and charges at us. Trixie sets up a force around us and block his attacks. "Nice job, Trixie," I said with relief
Unfortunately, the force field wasn't going to last as Krampus' fist pounds on it hard enough. Seeing Trixie struggling to keep the force field up, I knew she wouldn't hold it. I came up with a smart plan
"Trixie, release the shield," their eyes went wide when I said that.
"Are you crazy!?" She shouted, still struggling with her force field.
I only smirk at this. "Nope, I got an idea."
She reluctantly puts away the force field as I use my magic blast to hit him Square in the eye. Krampus scream in pain as he backs away abit to adjust his sight giving me a chance to attack him by using my transformation spell and turn into a squid.
I put him in a tight squeeze, only for him to finally get himself free and threw me at Trixie.
"You will pay for that, Mortal!" He shouted.
I change back and got up so I use Screwball 2 and pluck a yellow string and electricity came out and stun him.
"Sonata, go!" I said, motioning her to let out a strong scream.
Krampus regain his move and covered his ears when he heard Sonata's singing powers. Trixie use her magic to summon a rope and tie him up. Sonata stops singing and it looks like we won.
"It's over, Krampus. You lose," I said, putting away my guitar.
To our surprise, he started chuckling before he laughs like a lunatic.
"Why is he laughing?" Sonata ask, confuse on why he was laughing at his defeat.
"You think it's over?" He ask, before breaking out of his bond. "You haven't seen my presents. In fact, I was saving them for just the occasion,"
As if on cue, all of his toys and gingerbread ponies came out of the sack and they look somewhat monster like. The teddy bear pounce on Trixie as she tries to get it off. Sonata was being tackled by gingerbread ponies and are attacking her and I was face to face to face with a killer toy robot and a jack in the box with a nasty mouth and was about my height.
I battle the two toys as another music in the background plays.
I have no problem with the toy robot since it was only a small one. I blasted it with my magical blast.
Without warning, I was being gulped down by that fucking Jack in the box. It was like being swallowed by an anaconda.
It thinks it won, but I phase out of it from behind and took out my diamond sword and slice the jack in the box's head as blood squirts out of it.
'Only carp, who knew that toy has blood,' I said, thinking in my head. I turn to see how Trixie and Sonata are doing and I was impressed by what their doing.
Trixie use her magic to pull off the demonic teddy bears limbs and like the jack in the box, their was blood coming out of it. Their was also a mix of cotton and intestense coming out of it.
I turn to see Sonata who was eating the gingerbread ponies like no problem and was licking her lips with joy, but she felt her stomach growling and pukes. Gross.
I then turn to face Krampus and draw my diamond sword at him. "Now it's time for you to die."
Krampus snaps his fingers and four demonic elves pop out of the snow and grabs Trixie and Sonata by their wrist.
I did not see that coming.
"I'll give you a choice. You surrender and I kill you and let your friends live or I kill them and you for refusing," I can tell he was not joking, he was dead serious.
"So, what's it gonna be?" Krampus ask, waiting for me to make a choice.
I didn't want them to die, so I did one thing that will save us all. "How about....Screwball!"
Krampus gives me a blank look before I pull out my guitar to rub it. A pink cloud comes out and turns into Screwball Eris.
Screwball looks at me with that cheerful smile of hers. "You called?" She ask me.
I only responded by my finger at Krampus as she turn her head and sees him. She let out a non-pony like snarl at him who snarl back at her.
"Krampus."
"Screwball."
I was confused about what is going on here. Sonata and Trixie looks confused too.
"You know him, Screwball?" I ask, raising an eyebrow at her.
"Yeah, we met a long time ago. Krampus was an enemy of my dad long time ago," She replied, not taking her eyes off of him.
This made me go from confused to shock. "Wait, Krampus and Discord were enimes!?" I said, making my eyes wide as dinner plates.
Sonata looks surprised. "Is this for realsies?"
Trixie didn't say a word as if there was nothing for her to say.
Krampus smirks. "Well now, I'm surprised you remember me. Tell me, has your father been under the weather lately?"
Screwball didn't like that bad joke he made and only snarl some more. "I'm gonna kill you, Krampus!"
I wanted to know how this happen, but I just wanted to get this outta the way. Screwball looks at me and gives me a smile as if she had an idea.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask, feeling abit uncomfortable about her smile.
She walks up to me and gives me an earring. "Put this on," Screwball said "We must do the fusion."
What did she say?
"Wait, did you say fusion?" I ask, completely baffled.
Screwball nodded. "Yeah, we can become one and defeat this monster for good. With your magic and my Chaos magic, we can be unstoppable!"
Hearing the word 'unstoppable' is actually fun. It was a good thing I watched Dragonball Z where Goten and Trunks fuse together and so did Goku and Vegeta. "Screwball, I hope this works."
"Trust me, it will work," Screwball said as she does that pose that I've seen before.
I did the same thing and we both shouted in unison. "Fu-sion. Ha!"
Me and Screwball touch fingers and light started to shine so bright that Krampus, Trixie, Sonata and those demonic elves had to close their eyes to avoid blindness.
When the light fades, they rub their eyes and had their jaws drop. Me and Screwball were officially fused together. We now have a red long curly mane, our skin color is Purplish green, our left eye is a swirly and the right eye is normal. What's more is that we are about the same size as Krampus. Our clothes were in the mix of eighties and nineties styles.
We turn to see Sonata, Trixie and the demonic elves who were shock about what we become.
"What the," Trixie was stunned.
Sonata manages to say something. "Who or what are you?" She ask us, giving us a smirk
Me and Screwball spoke in unison. "I'm the one who is gonna kick Krampus' hairy ass. You may call me Soundball!"
They seem to like that name. Hell, even I think it's cool. We snap our fingers and those demonic elves turn into dolls before being burn to a crisp. The girls were happy to be free.
"Why don't you two set this one out. I'll deal with this hairy bastard," they nodded our terms not wanting to object about it. We turn to face Krampus who was snarling with anger.
"You think fusing into one being is gonna stop me?" He ask, growling even more.
"I don't think so, I know so. But enough chit chat. Let's dance bitch," as we said this, another music plays in an epic tune while us and Krampus charges at each other to attack.
Krampus delivers a punch, we caught it and head butted him. He staggers abit while we snap our fingers and a puddle of soap appears under him. He slips and falls on his back.
"You should watch your step, Krampus. You could hurt your head," We said, laughing at how he fell down. Krampus got up from his hooves and jumps in the air.
We teleported out of the way when he landed. He looks around trying to find us. We were behind him and we tip toe up to him and we put him in a chokehold.
"Guess you didn't see that coming, Krampus," He only responds by grabbing us and threw us at a tree. We phase through it and landed on our feet. Krampus us his super speed to charge at us, but we were smart as we teleported away and were on top of the tree branch.
"Hey! Up here!" We shouted, making him look up before we jump on him and grab both of his horns as we pulled them off. Krampus screams in pain as blood was oozing out of it.
"I hate you both!" He said, roaring.
"I know you mean love," We said as we jump off of him. We then turn into a bull and charge at him, but he got us only for us to turn into a cactus. He let's us go as he yells in pain.
We change back and summon two weapons, my diamond sword and a lightsaber that glows green.
Krampus snarl. "You think I don't have a weapon of my own?" He summons a chain with a hook on the end.
"This should be fun," We said with a smirk. He swings his hooked around and swings at us as we avoid it. We use the diamond sword to slice the chain in half. Seeing this, he roars and charges at us, but we were ready. When he was close enough, We swing around and slice both of his legs off with our lightsaber.
He slips and slides, leaving a trail of blood. Krampus rolls around and howls in pain as he looks at his missing legs. "My legs!!!!! You cut my legs!!!!" Krampus screams.
We jump on him and grab his long tounge and cut it off his the diamond sword. "No more licking for you," We said, frowning.
His mouth was spilling blood and it looks like he can't talk when there's blood in his mouth.
It was time for us to end it. "Say goodnight, sweet prince," We put our diamond sword and lightsaber away and snap our fingers and made his head explode in a gash of blood. It was squinting everywhere it caused his body to collapse on the snow as the blood was being poured out and made medium size puddle.
"Damn, that was an overkill." It looks like we won.
We then split into two and are now back to normal. "Wow, I can't believe we beat him," I said, rubbing my head.
We then saw Trixie and Sonata coming up to us as we were being hugged at. Trixie hugs me and Sonata hugs Screwball.
They let go of us. "That was so cool!" Sonata exclaim with excitement.
"Indeed. You both fuse together into one being and slain the monster," Trixie added.
"Well, it was a good thing he rub his guitar. Otherwise, you three wouldn't be able beat him and got killed right here," Screwball said. "Well, I gotta get back inside the guitar."
Before she did, I stop her. "Screwball, how would you like to come with us for a Hearts Warming Eve party we are having in Metallica?"
Hearing the word 'party' made her beanie spin wildly and pop her eyeballs out and grow two new ones. "I'm so there."
She snaps her fingers and was dress in a red and green dress with the words 'Party Animal'.
"Well, it's settled then, Let's go."
Sonata grabs my arms and I look at her as she lets go of it. "Soundcheck, can you play another tune while we go?"
"Yes, I want to hear music from you," Trixie chimes in, flipping her mane.
Screwball was also in the mood. "A good music would be nice."
I shrug. "Okay, I'll play another music," I pull out Screwball two and played a nice song as we walk off to our Metallica.
