Dear ponies of the past,

School was nothing interesting. But after school, I had a lot of fun! I went to my best friend Honey Muffin's house! Well, she didn't invite me. I came uninvited. I came for a reason, so hear me out. Honey, her mom and dad, and her four little brothers almost treat me like family. I really needed to do something with her. I just walked in the door and called, 'I'm home!" Honey ran right over. ""Hey, Saffron!"

Now, before I get into the rest, I'll tell you what Honey Muffin looks like. Her coat is light brown with a peach muzzle (Since you live 200 years back, I'll just tell you now that most ponies these days have some sort of extra design). Her mane is blonde, but she dyed the tips pink for some extra color.Honey is the best baker ever, so her cutie mark is a muffin (Pretty coincidental, right?).You know what, I'll just add a picture. There.

So, where was I? We went to Honey's room to have a conversation. Now you'll learn what I needed to ask her. I asked Honey for help on the metal wings because I'm not an inventor. Luckily, she agreed when I showed her the blueprints. Ever since we were fillies, we talked about flying. The one problem is that she's not really an inventor, either. We'll get through it together, hopefully. Soon enough it got late. I had to get home or else my mom would kill me.

Once I got home, I read books. Yes, very boring, but it's all I had to do. I found two somewhat cool books. One was on the Elements Of Harmony. There's a nonfiction book report coming up, so I decided this would be my book. It looks real cool. The other book, well, I don't really know what it is. It looks like a diary, but I can't be sure. Someone's cutie mark was on the cover. Definitely a diary. Not my mom's or dad's or mine. I just put it back for now. Maybe I'll come back to it later.
