Raincloud: Story Of A True Hero

Raincloud knew she was different. When she was young, she had tried to play with other pegasi, but they always got hurt. He grew up in cloudsdale, but it wasn't until all the other in her class started getting their cutie marks, that she realized something was wrong. Looking at her reflection in a fountain, she compared her self to other pegasi. They were different.

All the other pegasi had things like legs, faces and wings, but she had dark puffiness. That night she went to talk to her parents...

"Mom, Dad.." she said to her parents, two pegasi with a dark blue and a purple mane, "Why am i different?"

His father flew to her and her mother hugged her. "Son," her mom started to say, "This may come as a shock to you..." tears began to stream down her eyes, "But... You were adopted..."

That point is what changed her life.

years passed and eventually Raincloud moved down from Cloudsdale to Ponyville where she had two genuine friends,  an "earth pony" named Bloomberg and a "unicorn" named tot. They were the best of friends, yet they eventually went their separate ways. The Apple Family moved Bloomberg over to their new orchard, Apploosa, so that he could help his family, and Tom left to wander Equestria after being rejected but the one he loved. Raincloud thought about leaving Ponyville, but there was one thing keeping her there. He watched from the sky as the orange mare walked across the streets, heading for her farewell party. Bloomberg would kill her if she knew Raincloud liked her, but Bloomberg wasn't there. Raincloud was snapped out of her thoughts as a a green tentacle slapped her, causing her to shoot a bolt,  accidentally searing the tip of a cyan mares rainbow tail.

"Watch it Raincloud" She said.

"..."

"Yeah it's a mystery." she retorted, but raincloud was in her own little world. He gazed at the tentacles hypnotic movement. That is the reason that the orange mare was going away for a bit. She was going over  to a faraway town so that she could pick up her ipod nanos, enabling the town to ignore the catastrophe happening around them. The mayor started to speak, causing Raincloud to drop her focus on the tentacles and  pay attention to her crush. Some words were said that she didn't care for and the ceremony went by pretty fast. next thing she knew, she was boarding the train and gone.

A few days later, she was delivering a letter from Applejack to her friends. They were having a welcome back party for her, and quickly grabbed the letter from her.

"Shouldn't we invite Raincloud to the party?" sompony said.

"No, she'll  never be one of us. She started to float away sadly due to not being invited to yet another party, but stayed to listen to what the letter had to say. Twas difficult to hear, but she could make out something about Applejack being stuck in that town with the ipods.

Applejacks friends quickly raced  to the train station and Raincloud soon followed, but was stopped by that strange zebra who could not rhyme for her life.

"I see you seek to save that mare of orange..." she started, but took a pause. "Umm... Uh... Orange, orange... Umm- AH! Her friends can handle this... Door... Hinge? Ah buck it. Don't worry about the orange one, I'm sure her friends can handle it."

Raincloud didn't care and she raced to the train tracks, but she was too late, the train already left. Raincloud would have followed it, but by the time the caboose was in sight it was already sunset. That night, she dreamed that it was a little after noon. Applejack was being chased and she was trapped with her ipod timer ticking away. The ponies chasing her started talking as it ticked away and when it hit zero...

Raincloud woke with a start and looked at the clock. It was 1:00. Not much time left until the time in her dream. Without a thought, Raincoud flew as fast as she could out to the spot where her premonition took place. almost breaking the sound barrier, she reached the spot to see that the giant ipod nano had only a few seconds left. in one hesitant move, she lowered to the ground and picked it up. Applejack looked at her as if wondering what she was doing. 'I love you Applejack' she wanted to say, but no words came out. Tightening her grip on the ipod, she flew as high as she could.

i know it sucks. i made this right after watching witchcraft, Raincloud will be remembered by all.... i just wish i could find a good raincloud picture for the cover. also i am not good with one shots, soo.... well that is all. watch witchcraft if you havent. some lyrics from their recent song
