Dragons & Bells

-With a single hoof,Babs grabbed Buttons hoof,pulling him out of the chair and stood up leading him to center of the ballroom where everyone was either dancing or chatting away,enjoying their time together-

Teen Button Mash:"W-Whoa..what are you doing Babs?!"

Teen Babs Seed:"I ain't sitting around the entire party just watching others dance ya know, so why not we dance instead of you being a creep and giving Spike the stink eye over just dancing with Sweetie belle."

Teen Button Mash:"Sigh..I guess your right I'm worrying over nothing it's just a dance after all, but I'm not much of a dancer to let you know."

Teen Babs Seed:"Well then tonight you learn,first off don't step on my hooves and second don't be so tense and just go with the beat,do you think you can do that?"

Teen Button Mash:"Yea..it seems easy enough."

Teen Babs Seed:"Good then follow my lead."

-Babs helped Buttons up on to his hind legs and grabbed his hoof placing his hoof on her hip while placing her own hoof on his right shoulder-"Now don't be nervous, besides I don't bite."

Teen Button Mash:-With a nervous expression on his face growing stronger, he'd only nod while feeling flustered of Babs actions-"R-Right, I'll try not to be."-Taking her hoof, Buttons fell into the same pattern of His and Babs dance and began taking the lead-

Teen Babs Seed:"Not a dancer huh? I'd say that's a lie."

Teen Button Mash:-Avoiding her gaze, Buttons darted his eyes to the left while still feeling like he wanted to run from their dance as his heart was racing being near her- "W-Well m-my father before he *ahem* well passed, my mother often told me, he loved dancing all his life giving it his all ,maybe it passed on to me even know dancing usually is taught.."

Teen Babs Seed:"Well then maybe it is genetics twinkle toes."

Teen Button Mash:"Heheh maybe,or it could be your just a great at teaching me as you are with hair styling."

Teen Babs Seed:"I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not, but besides that, at least you don't seem so focused on thinking about yours and Sweetie Belle's argument."

Teen Button Mash:"I guess you do have a point there I must admit but it isn't off my mind fully."

Teen Babs Seed:"Then don't think about it too much, it's not healthy."

Teen Button Mash:"I'll try too."-Buttons twirled Babs lightly, while often watching his footing , so he wouldn't step on Babs hooves-

Teen Babs Seed:-she'd lightly place a hoof on Button's cheek giving a kind smile as she looked into his eyes-

-Buttons would stare back at her,almost leaning in till he looked over seeing Spike leading Sweetie Belle out of the Ball room, as he stared at Spike and sweetie belle heading out, he'd accidentally drop Babs, breaking the position they were in-

Teen Babs Seed:"wha..ah! Err..What was that for Button Mash and what are you looking at- oh don't even think about it Buttons let them have their night with out you trying to spy on them for the rest of the night."

Teen Button Mash:"But I gotta know where their going I know Spikes my friend and I trust and all but..doesn't mean I trust him around Sweetie Belle."

Teen Babs Seed:"I think your overthinking all this, Spike wouldn't try anything on Sweetie Belle."

-Already walking off with out offering a hoof to help Babs up, Button Mash would be walking out of the ballroom stealth like, to follow Spike and sweetie belle-

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Where exactly are we going Spike?"

Teen Spike:"Some place special within the castle."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"But can't you tell me?"

Teen Spike:-placing a claw to his lip with a smile while looking to her as he led the way,he'd speak sounding a bit excited-"If I told you where it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?"

Teen Sweetie Belle:"I suppose not."

Teen Spike:"Haha come on just a bit further I promise."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"You said that a few minutes ago are you sure you know where your going?"

Teen Spike:"Of course I am, besides I know this castle from the back of my claw had nothing better to do when I was a..how do I put this..pint size."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Well I wouldn't say you were pint size back then just hadn't gone through a growth spurt yet is how I saw it."

Teen Spike:"Really now?"

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Mhm."

-Stopping in his tracks,he'd turn around placing a claw lightly on her head as he kneeled down to her level to face her ,placing the other claw on his knee,with a playful smirk appearing on his face-

Teen Spike:"Still think that way?"

Teen Sweetie Belle:"I well um..n-no you've grown quite tall besides that thought of mine was years ago."

Teen Spike:"Yet you still remember it."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"I well..."-She'd Avert her gaze giving a small frown,looking the other way, while Spike was inches away from her face- "J-Just forget what I mentioned okay? It's embarrassing!"-She yelled a little,while feeling mixed emotions-

Teen Spike:"Nope doubt I'll forget those words."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Your never gonna let me live that down are you.."

Teen Spike:-Swishing his tail with pride, he'd give a single nod- "Yep."

Teen Spike:"Now come on blushy bell."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"I..h-hush you don't forget you are trying to show me something."-She'd be pushing Spike from the back to get him moving using all her strength-

Teen Spike:"Don't need to push we're here now."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"The balcony doors? Why did we come here?"

Teen Spike:"You'll understand soon enough, besides it's a special night anyways."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Special..how?"

Teen Spike:"Well come on to the balcony and I'll tell you."-Spike would open the glass crystal stained doors,walking on to the balcony-

Teen Sweetie Belle:"A-Alright."-This isn't one of your tricks is it?"

Teen Spike:"Course not, I don't always try playing tricks, besides isn't that Discords job?"

Teen Sweetie Belle:-Only letting out a small giggle,She'd walk on to the balcony and stand beside Spike-"So what exactly is so special tonight?"

Teen Spike:"Ever heard of shooting stars?"

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Course I have, why?"

Teen Spike:"Well tonight's the night besides they don't come too often."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Really?"-her eyes gleamed with joy-

Teen Spike:"Mhm I wanted to watch them with you, I mean! If that's a-alright with you but if it isn't I completely understand and we can go back to the ball room where the others are-

Teen Sweetie Belle:"I'd love too."

Teen Spike:"Huh?"

Teen Sweetie Belle:"I said I'd love too see them with you Spike."

Teen Spike:"I..you sure."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"mhm I'm very sure."

Teen Spike:"Why not um sit down ,might be more comfortable."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Alright"-She'd sit down looking at the stars as she placed her front hooves on the balcony rail-"Its beautiful out here."

Teen Spike:"Yea..it sure is."

Teen Sweetie Belle:-She'd look over with worry on her- "Spike do you..come out for his balcony alone usually?"

Teen Spike:-he'd look down thinking through his thoughts before answering-"Yea..been doing it for awhile lost track of when I started coming to this balcony, just know I come here alone half the time I don't even tell Twilight."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Why do you come up here alone then."

Teen Spike:"Guess it gets my mind off things and helps me think..."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Well you know since you showed me your favorite spot of the castle I could come here often if you just tell me so your not alone."

Teen Spike:"Think I'll take up that offer."

-holding his tie and tugging on it with his teeth,Button Mash would be,behind the wall near the door,spying on the pair while Babs sat next to him-

Teen Babs Seed:"Your gonna get us caught if you keep spying on them! -Babs whispered angerly at Buttons-

Teen Button Mash:"But he's..their..she's scooting next to him!" -He whispered back sounding jealous-

Teen Babs Seed:"So what?! You and me are gonna have a talk right now!" -Babs grabbed Button Mash by the ear, and began dragging him down the stairs-

Teen Spike:"What was that?"-Spike had turned his head to the door-

Teen Sweetie Belle:"What was what?"

Teen Spike:"Just I could of sworn I heard something or somepony."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Maybe it was just a bird that flew in."

Teen Spike:"I highly doubt a bird would make such a loud noise as the one I heard only moments ago."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"I guess your right...guess I'm just being a goof..ugh such a stupid thing to say.."

Teen Spike:"Hey don't worry about it."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Thanks I think.."

Teen Spike:"So what now? Got any plans after you graduate Sweetie Belle?"

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Now that you mention it..I haven't even thought about what I want to do with my life after graduation I'll probably just stay in ponyville maybe even become a choir teacher."

Teen Spike:"Well you do have a great voice I bet you'd make a great choir teacher Sweetie Belle, what with being a natural at singing and your voice sounding like an angel and- *Spikes face grew red as he kept on talking and practically showering Sweetie Belle in compliments*

Teen Sweetie Belle:"What was that?"

Teen Spike:"I mean your erm talent it's um so amazing..eheh."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"So then what about you what's your plans after graduation? Do you still plan on staying in ponyville or go off and head to where all those dragons you told me about are.."

Teen Spike:"I kind of have some idea about what I want to do after graduation or at least some where in my life , I do plan on staying in ponyville that's for sure, but for the rest of my life I don't know what else I plan to do then again I'll probably just end up still helping Twi, don't get me wrong She's like a mother or a big sister to me but still..I know one more thing at least,..Its that I don't want to be in a library all my life."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Guess I can relate on that part..but still sometimes things change as he grow older but it just makes me a bit sad when they do.."

Teen Spike:"Why's that?.."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Im scared..of growing up, I know it's part of life and one big step leading to another with out end but what if I get lost on that path? Will I have some pony to guide me ? Ohh all of this is frustrating!"-Sweetie Belle placed her hooves over her head, clenching in frustration-

-Without warning Spike gently placed his arm over Sweetie Belle and lightly pulled her to him-

Teen Spike:"Aren't we all? Some may not show it some do but life for all of us for what's to come or what we expect is unpredictable on how things turn out, but know this your my best friend Sweetie Belle and if you ever get lost on whatever path you choose I'll try and be there to guide you, I know it sounds sappy but it's true every word."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Thanks..Spike. Uh Spike could I ask you something?.."

Teen Spike:"Huh? Sure go ahead I'm all scales."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Well..how come your being so nice to me, saying all these loving and caring things and comforting me through this stressful time."

Teen Spike:"I'm guessing you didn't hear one of the parts I said,..what I said was your my best friend and that I'd do anything I can to help my friends but I do have another erm..reason why."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Why not tell me then dragon boy."-She smiled while looking up at him with her head against his chest-

Teen Spike:"I rather not other wise it wouldn't be my little secret."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"You said that though last time when you brought me up here."

Teen Spike:"Ah but I wanted to show you this part of the castle but the rest of my secrets are kept to me and to me only."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Doesn't mean I won't try to persue it."

Teen Spike:"Then I guess you'll just have to keep guessing.

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Oh look! It's starting!"

Teen Spike:"Starting?..Oh you mean the shooting stars right almost nearly forgot about it. Why not make a wish who knows might come true."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"But Isn't that for little fillies and colts?"

Teen Spike:"Who's to say it's just for fillies and colts even when your older you can still make a wish just for fun-

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Done!"

Teen Spike:"Eeh?! You already made a wish that fast?"

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Mhm and it's a special one that I've been wishing for."

Teen Spike:"And what would that be?"

Teen Sweetie Belle:"If I told you it might not come true."

Teen Spike:"Guess I'll have to keep guessing then forever."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Well. Or forever I'll tell you when I feel comfortable too."

Teen Spike:"Fine with me."

Teen Sweetie Belle:-Yawn-"Its getting late and How long have we been out here?"

Teen Spike:"Now that you mention it maybe a few hours scootaloo and pipsqueak are probably already down stairs why?"

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Cause I might just head off to bed."

Teen Spike:"Well I could show you a guest room for you to stay in for the night since it's late if you like."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Really? I wouldn't want to be a bother but I um d-do have one request.."

Teen Spike:"And what would that be?.."

Teen Sweetie Belle:"Well.."
