Nightmare moon strolled out of her cloud of smoke, after returning from the moon. in front of her stood none other than Princess Celestia.
"Nightmare, you will not be allowed to cast Equestia into eternal night!!" yelled Celestia
"Wow, you are so stupid, you really think I am here to do that, no I am here to capture you Celestia" yelled Nightmare back.
Celestia made a critical mistake and took, a second to process what nightmare had just said, meanwhile nightmare slipped a nullifying ring over Celestia's horn, temporarily cutting off her magic. Nightmare then summoned shackles around Celestia's legs, and teleported them both to the wastelands.
In the Wastelands there were three giant metal structures being built, next to a metal cube, Luna proceeded to stroll into the metal cube with Celestia, she tossed Celestia into the metal cube. The metal cube had no holes except for the giant door, it didn't even have a food slot because, Alicorns did not need to eat or breathe. After tossing Celestia into the cube she swung the heavy door closed as she removed the nullifying ring.
Immediately after the ring was removed an ear piercing scream came from the cube as Celestia was drained of ALL her magic. the magic was stored in crystals, that were buried beneath the wastelands. after dealing with Celestia, Luna looked back at her list of things to do in the first day.
Lock up Celestia----- done
Grab Twilight sparkle and get her to my side ----
Luna then teleported to Twilight's house.
At the Ponyville Library...
There was a bright flash followed by a pop, and then Nightmare Moon was standing in the town center. She simply transformed into a mist and flew to the library. Reforming inside the library she came face to face with twilight sparkle who immediately screamed. nightmare moon summoned a ball gag and shoved it into Twilight's mouth.
"Twilight Sparkle, I'd like to make a deal..."

Celestia had just banished nightmare moon for 1,000 years, after nightmare moon, tried to show Celestia the err of her path. Luna/nightmare moon had realized 2 years ago that Celestia was slowly bending everyone's mind in the country to worship her. So Luna had come up with the idea to try and defeat her, obviously that didn't work out, but now, NOW, she had time to plan out every step she would need to make to succeed, and she had help finally. the chaos caused by the feud, had awoken Discord. and Luna had made a deal with him that he would help her, and she would spare him. the best part of this deal is discord is able to go to the future, and determine the GENRAL idea of what will happen.

There was one year left before Luna was going to return to Equestria, and discord was currently on the moon going over the final details of the plan.
"Ok, so basically Celestia has BRAINWASHED! almost every pony in Equestria, so we will simply move the unaffected ponies, and the misfits AWAY from Equestria." Discord said
"Ok, that's a reasonable idea, how would we move them, teleportation, we don't have enough magic between us to do that, we could build those "spaceships" you were talking about, but then where would we do it, we can't be found so, maybe the wastelands?"
"Perfect, also the unaffected ponies will be gathered, upon the date of your arrival, additionally I have taken the liberty of sending dreams to ponies who may be interested in helping, and I will give them the information needed to begin construction on the motherships required to move ponies 50,000,000 miles. also we have made a deal with the changelings, in exchange for labor we will give them a near infinite supply of love."
"Even better, make sure the ships are at least halfway completed by my return, I can only restrain Celestia for 1 year, before the draining crystals are full."
"This is getting better and better, because we can use the magic drained from Celestia to power the ships!!!"
"Amazing, that will replace the liquid fuel you were talking about."
"Wait, I've got a better idea, we could use the magic to cast a terraforming spell to put an atmosphere and stuff, on the moon."
"That will then allow me to save my magic and help build the structures, discord, your a genus!!!"
