Fallout Equestria: Frozen Clock

"Frozen... the soul."

Two hundred...years ago in the Magical land of Equestria, a war broke out. Our story takes place one year before the war broke out. Many issues slowly arose.

Stories of creatures of Equestria vanishing and then, their bodies being found with strange mechanical parts in them. This was way before the huge technical book happened before the war.

But at this very moment, Equestria still was a peaceful part of the world. During this time species of ponies and zebras lived together in many areas of Equestria. In Manehattan alone families are living together. Some ponies didn't care for the mixed families and this was a normal issue in the land because not every pony cared for the idea of mixed families. In secret, a group of ponies formed an anti-zebra group. They called themselves The Black Hooves They avoided towns like Ponyville and such. However, they did visit the bigger cities. To try to bring purity back to Equestria. The princess didn't even know this was going on. All was so hushed about this happening.

A zebra took up home within the little town of Ponyville. She learned to speak without the rhyming. She even taught ponies about the Zebra way of battle. Needless to say, she did it as a way to teach ponies to defend themselves since...it seemed after the issue with Discord, many ponies wanted to feel protected. She was very welcomed in the town but this time, however, she was being watched by someone.

I calmly walked to the ponies and asked them to do the skills that I asked them to do, during this material arts lesson. I looked to see a large stallion who had a strange coat. He was just standing there, watching me. The way he stood, his posture was giving it away. I turned back to the ponies I was working with.

"Lift your legs a little higher, then you should be able to do the strike right." The mare nodded as she managed to do the exercise. I chuckled and looked over to the stallion. He was gone. I blinked wondering what was going on really.

An hour later, everypony went home. I closed up my dojo. Heading to the marketplace to gather veggies for dinner. I noticed a mare in a black outfit watching me. I blinked, staring at the unicorn mare. Her eyes looked right at me. It was getting odd that many seemed to be watching me. I walked by Fluttershy giving her a nod with a gentle smile. The pegasus was watching me as well. Nevertheless, I gathered everything that I needed. I blinked, not sure what to think. All supplies bought, now just a few more things to do. I needed to return a book to Twilight. I walked towards the tree, I sighed as I was getting tired of being spied on. I was being followed nearly every minute of every day and it's beginning to annoy me. Then I came face to face with pink.

"OH!! Pinkie." I smiled and Pinkie giggled and jumped around and laughed.

"Hello, Hello Desert Rose... You need to see Twilight?" I nodded and Pinkie jumped around in her spaz-like way. I chuckled softly and smiled. Walking alongside Pinkie Pie was interesting you could say. We went inside the library treehouse. I calmly called.

"Twilight!!" Twilight jumped with a scream and there was a giant crash upstairs. I blinked and laughed softly. I forget when Twilight gets busy she forgets about others. She walked down the stairs and blushed a bit at her blunder.

"Ahem excuse me. Now, how may I help you, Desert Rose?" I smiled and looked over to the side. I brought out a book from my bags and I offered it back to her and smiled.

"I just wished to return this book. Thank you so much for it." A gentle smile formed on Twilight's face as she trotted over and grabbed the book with her magic. She then looked back at me and smiled.

"You and your family still up for dinner in a few days?" I gave a nod and she smiled as she put the book away... I did notice that Spike was nowhere to be seen. He's probably busy... I gave Twilight and Pinkie a tight hug and went on my way. I had to get one last thing. I had to get sweets from Cakes. Then I would head home. I saw a large stallion staring at me... I wasn't sure what was with all these odd ponies looking at me. I finally made it to Sugarcube Corner. I sighed and went up to the counter and saw Mrs. Cake and her husband.

"Hi there, Mr. Cake...I need some cupcakes and a pie please." Mr. Cake smiled at me, nodding. I sighed calmly, looking around, feeling worried about the ponies that have been following me. I relaxed, waiting for my order. I paced around, knowing it's taking them a while... Ponies have been giving me odd looks lately... Since issues with my former land...came to be...but it's nothing really bad hopefully. After a while, Mr. Cake gave me my order and I sighed, taking it. Smiling, I set down some bits.

"Thank you, Mr. Cake." I placed the cupcakes and pie on my back and carried my bags of food back home. However, my home was on the other side of town. Ponyville had become a lot different since many ponies and zebras started to live here. It's gotten to the point that ponies are now kind and respectful to zebras. I'm hoping that it doesn't change and the relationship between ponies and zebras doesn't go downhill. I wouldn't be very happy to see what happens.

I walked inside my house. My wonderful family wasn't going to get home for a few more hours... Since my daughter and son had things to do at school and my husband went with them... I shrugged the thought off. I gathered all the food I bought from the market and I started making dinner. A good wonderful dinner for my family. It's been five years since we moved here. I'm certainly glad that we did. Ever since I moved here, I was happy that I wasn't in the bigger cities where other zebras vanished and then were found dead. I felt a sea of dread wash over me. Why does my kind hate different species so much? Ponies really haven't done a thing to deserve this hatred... I feel like I am the only one that doesn't hate other species for being different. All I want to do is protect my family and keep them safe. Taking" a knife in my mouth, I started to cut the veggies and fruit, placing it into a bowl. Slowly starting to cook the food I made for my family.

They finally got home. Soft Trot, my husband, gave me a light kiss on the cheek and then trotted away to take a shower. This unicorn was one of the first ponies I ever met, his green eyes were still as tantalizing for me as that day. The kids gave me a quick hug, both rushing to their rooms. I watched them with pride. A filly with stripes over a coat of her father's blue and a unicorn colt black as night. Both were beautiful in my eyes.

Dinner was finally ready. We sat at the table and calmly ate our food. My goals didn't speak much. My husband seemed not to talk either. Normally, they were always talking and I found this very odd. Soft Trot looked at me and gave me a soft smile. Just then, a knock was heard. He trotted to the door and one pony walked in. He stood there and began to speak loudly.

"Ah, you must be Desert Rose... Your husband told me about you." I got down from my chair stood in front of the stallion.

"I'm sorry for this...but your husband and family... Gave us bits to take you away." I blinked, turning to Soft Trot. He looked away... I then looked to my foals who were now fully gone.

"One...second..." I stammered and pushed Soft Trot into another room, staring at him with great anger as he began to speak softly.

"I found...another mare... Rose... My family never wanted me to marry you. They sent this group to find you... I had no choice... Since I wanted this other mare and the foals..don't want you in their lives anymore..." I lowered my head and went back to the stallion.

"I will go with you." Black Hoof smirked, nodding. We both left the house and I noticed a pegasus and a unicorn mare standing outside redundant with torches. Black hoof gave them a nod and threw their torches into the house, causing it to burn. They forced me to watch as my home burnt to the ground. I heard my family screaming. Even if they turned on me... I still cared for them. Just then, a few torches got forced into my mouth. Black Hoof started to speak to the ponies around that tried to rush to save them.

"Look at this Zebra...she killed her very own family in cold blood... Fear not...we shall take her to be punished... You will no longer have to worry about this filth in the world..." I blinked, watching them destroy my reputation. I lowered my head, not able to talk back about this. I followed them while they placed me in the back of a strange machine that ran on steam. I was the only one in this strange machine at first. I was chained so I couldn't run. I heard the machine starting up and it ran for a few hours before it stopped. After the machine stopped, they brought in a pegasus mare wrapped in a bag and her muzzle was tied into the back but... I saw her snout and she was breathing slowly. I didn't know what they were doing...

I felt the machine I was in moving again. It took another few hours before we stopped again. I fell asleep and I woke up hearing fighting and strange noise. Then the back opened up again and a buffalo was thrown into the back. Her body landed on the floor of the machine with a thud. The Buffalo was bleeding in many wounds. She was breathing hard but still alive for the time being.

The machine started up again and began to move. I fell asleep again. I heard another loud smash and the back opened up and a diamond dog was forced inside. He growled and stared at me before he sat down. He looked at the Buffalo. She was asleep and it looked like they drugged her. I closed my eyes a bit and sighed, looking over to the pegasus mare. I sighed, wondering what is going to happen to us. The machine slowly started again... They haven't even fed us at all.

After 3 days, they finally fed us and provided us with water. After that though, they went back on their way. I opened my eyes. The machine was off and they came for us. The large stallion lifted the Buffalo and the Diamond dog walked with them calmly. The mare lifted the other and I noticed we are near an old factory. Where were we? This place of Equestria was new to me and I had no idea where we were. They lead me into a room. I saw many bodies of dead zebras in a corner. I felt myself getting sick but I was lead into a doctor's room where Black Hoof himself was but he smiled.

"Be a good mare... You will be not seeing the outside world for a long time." I turned my head to the Doctor. Her eyes looked at me with great hatred but after getting a good look at me, her expression changed. She seemed more...relaxed but I couldn't quite understand why as she trotted up to me and took a look at my hooves.

"Hmmm, strong hooves." I blinked. Then, she injected me with some kind of drug. The drug paralyzed me and she forced me onto the table. I was still awake and able to see what was going on. She lifted large metal hooves that had wires connected to them. I watched her as she took a large blade and sliced off my hooves. Screams echoed in my mind. I was being tortured! She connected the wires into my nervous system. Closing my eyes, I passed out from the pain that became too much for me.

A few hours later, I opened my eyes. I stared at the mare who woke me up and she smiled. She helped me on my hooves and wrapped my mouth in tape to keep me from talking. Black Hoof walked back in and helped me on my hooves. I stared at him with great hate. But as I stepped on the hooves, found it hard to lift them for a moment. Being lead along I noticed the other three. The diamond dog had his eyes removed and were replaced with something else. The Pegasus mares chest had a strange green glowing device on it. it was green unnecessary She looked very sick. The Buffalo had her horns removed. They were replaced with strange tubes that looked like they could release steam or something.

They lead us to strange tubes that were attached to the wall inside the factory. They opened up and they placed the three inside. Closing, they froze them in some sort of magic stasis. I turned to look at the stallion.

I softly spoke. "Why?"

Black hoof smirked. "You will be awake again...soon...you will be a weapon used in war." I blinked and I was forced into the tube as I tried to speak.

"WHY?! There is no war!" Black hoof laughed softly. "You can't do this to us!" I was forced into the tube, yelling at them, but they couldn't hear me. As I fell into the stasis sleep, I saw the world I knew for the last time. I saw everything I loved and everything I knew vanishes before my eyes. I had no idea when I was going to wake up again... Sleep finally took over me as I froze.
