The Friendship Express has suffered a terrible crash high in the frigid peaks of the equestrian mountains. The survivors of the crash include Twilight; Rainbow Dash, Gilda and a human. Twilight and Rainbow fly off to het help from Canterlot but before Gilda can join them a snowstorm traps her and the human on the remaining train cars.

Gilda and the human are now stuck on whats left of the train, waiting for rescue, wondering if it'll ever come. While Gilda has changed in the time since...shes still got a lot to learn about the importance of friendships in the darkest of times.
