In the aftermath of Flurry Hearts crystalling, Princess Luna finds herself looking back at the painful events before becoming the dreaded Nightmare Moon. She had pushed the events to the back of her mind, telling herself to never think of those events ever again, but when something happens that forces her down the long and painful road of remembering all the events leading up to her becoming banished to the moon, all the events of the months and years leading up to her transformation come flooding back to her. Of actions regretted, of words left unsaid... Of love, lost. When it is all said and done, a feeling, deep in her chest, leads her to a strange facility, buried deep beneath the forests of Northern Equestria, where she finds a group with sinister intentions, and a prison full of horrible monstrosities. Some of who hit a little close to home...
