The sky was gloomy, looking as if it were a time bomb, waiting to explode and pour rain on the citizens of Ponyville. The mare named Rainbow Dash was in her Cloudsdale abode, preparing an evening meal for herself. She planned to watch the Wonderbolts’ show broadcast on TV - she could only hope it wouldn’t get rained out. All was well until she realized she had depleted her supply of pepper! It was relatively late in the evening, so she wouldn’t be able to ask any of her neighbors for some. Ah! Fluttershy has lots of spices, she’d probably have some pepper! The rainbow-maned mare left for Ponyville to see her animal loving friend. It had started sprinkling, so she hurried up.
It took a mere minute for the pony to arrive at Fluttershy’s cottage. She knocked her hoof on the door three times. A bright yellow pony with a pink mane answered the door. “Hey, Fluttershy, do you have some pepper?” Rainbow Dash asked. By this point Dashie’s mane was quite damp from the light downfall that had preceded the encounter. “Oh, Dashie, you will get soaked out there! Please, come inside, I’ll get you a towel,” Fluttershy offered. Dash entered, and Fluttershy returned with a towel, as she had promised. “Thank you for your hospitality, Fluttershy, but I was just coming to see if you had any pepper?” Dash said. “Why, I’m sure I have some in the kitchen. Just sit down, make yourself feel comfortable.” Fluttershy said.
A few minutes later, Fluttershy returned with some pepper. The rain had picked up quite heftily, and it appeared as if Dash was rained in. “Oh shoot, looks like you’re stuck here, I’m sorry,” Fluttershy said. “No, no Fluttershy, it’s not your fault,” Dash reassured. Fluttershy still blamed herself as she usually does, regardless of whose fault it really is. "I'll go make myself useful and make us some tea..." Fluttershy returned with some hot tea a few minutes later. "This is great, Fluttershy," Dash said, taking a sip. "I guess I'm finally good at something," Fluttershy said quietly, so Dash wouldn't hear, even though she did. "Fluttershy, you're great at many things," Dash said, "you are great with animals, you have a great personality..." Dash stopped, and blushed. "Y-you're... you're pretty cute, heh..." Dash said. There was a short silence before Dash spoke up. "I'm sorry, Fluttershy, I don't know wh-" Dash was interrupted by Fluttershy. "Shhh, it's alright," Fluttershy smiled, "That's the single nicest thing anypony has ever said to me." Then the power cut out. "Eek!" Fluttershy squealed. She always kept a candle by the couch, so she went to light it. When she returned with the lit candle, she sat down and placed the candle on the table. "You were saying, Dashie?" Fluttershy said, blushing a little. "Well," Dash moved closer to Fluttershy. "You're kind...sweet...caring...and beautiful..." They leaned forward, and kissed each other. They both blushed. They went at it again, but this time they didn't stop. Dash felt fireworks in her mouth, as if someone combined every good feeling in the world and bound them into one kiss. It was the most amazing, memorable moment of her life. "I love you, Fluttershy" Dash said softly. "I love you too, Dash."
