The dawn rays of light entered delicately through small window openings sliding slowly down the floor to a bed where a small girl slept.
Gently the rays of light awoke her, blinding her eyes, which she opened slowly with a typical tiredness of awakening.

She try to lift his face and stand up, but she was not strong enough for that, she tried to raise his sheets as best he could with a laziness that begged him to go back to bed, which She hesitate to answer.

But in that instant, quick as lightning, and as a sensation of chilling that crossed the column she remembered, but it was not a pleasant memory but a bitter and acid that could not be undone, even if she tried, that saddened her, the frustration, but about all filled with a fear as solid as a rock as cold as ice and as piercing as a needle.

But she did not have time to be afraid she had to hurry before the moment arrived she put aside all her things, she forgot all her duties and responsibilities and even forget them who were always by her side but nothing could be done before she would face and even if they tried, she would avoid it because even deep down she ...

A loud pounding stopped her thoughts, her body and her ideas she was paralyzed every part of her asked her to scream in fear with anguish and despair, but she knew that she could not do it because then he would know that she is there and would have no choice but to face him but she could not have the strength or the guts to do it.

The tapping became stronger and more constant, trying to make himself heard through the house. she planned to ignore it, hoping he would not think she was there. she would only keep silence in a corner, but then she hear him calling ...

"Hello?" A voice echoed the walls of the house.

"Are you at home?" He ask in a soft tone.

His voice was like a soft, thin knife that pierced her throat until she was mute. He was gentle in tone, but something hidden between words an intentions that you could not recognize unless you had lived them and she knew those intentions and experienced and Just remembering it full of fear and hate her heart.

"I know you're there," he said in a sweet, menacing voice.

"Get out, you just make it worse," the voice said more firmly.

Her fears grew, her heart quickened and her breathing altered.

"If he knows I'm here and I do not respond to the ..." She told herself as the thrusts became stronger and more constant to the point where she could not stand it any longer and her heart was about to explode until the silence ruled home.

A silence so deep she felt as slowly devouring her until choking her desperately to the point that she could not breathe.s

"I have to go downstairs." She kept repeating herself over and over for courage.

"I have to go down." Until she gathered the little courage she possessed and slowly, like a mouse looking for food in the kitchen, down the stairs one by one slowly taking care of each step as if someone was watching.

What could take a few seconds were minutes, but in her mind were hours even days and when she finally reached the end she found an empty dining room and her door closed, everything was as she left leaving last night.

The table was raised only a few crumbs that the mice despised, on the floor the trays and empty dishes almost clean, but that was not surprising, the floor almost neat she knew that if something was known was because of its efficient way to maintain everything in order despite their way of life.

"It will be all right now." She told herself as her breathing slowly regulated, she gave a quick glance that everything was in order.

Everything seemed to be in their usual place or at least where she left him last, but then she saw it, a small piece of paper lying on the floor, at which point her heart stopped as her confidence was devoured and replaced with fear , she tried to ignore it, pretend it was not there.

"Maybe I forgot to leave it there." she try to justify the presence of the object.

"Maybe one of my friends forgot it there." shee searched for excuses and distractions, but the more she ignored it, the stronger his presence was, as well as her desperation to the point where she decided to leave and pass over it as if he were not there.

She took a few steps, determined that it would pass over her, but every step that gave her doubt grew and her fear too, to the point that every step she took was weaker, fearful and insecure to the point that when standing in front of the paper stopped in the dry and looked at him paralyzed without knowing what to do, she doubted if she should take it.

"It's just a piece of paper I could do, what could happen?" She said herself as slowly and with a trembling hoof she took the paper that seemed to have scribbles that little by little and as it came closer to her face began to make sense to a point where they became readable.

As she read her fears they took hold of her and they ate her from the inside for every letter her eyes passed, her heart was racing and her throat was closing.

"No" She read it again and again trying to change the meaning, but no matter how many times she read it, she always said the same thing and her fears grew to the point that her own hoofs no longer held her and she collapsed on them, breaking into crying and saying herself.

"It's what I deserve, I earned it." And again and again the same lie was repeated.

"I deserve this." Trying to justify her situation, but it was useless that would not change her destiny nothing would.

She kept her crying for a long time so much that she lost the notion of it, until a noise came from her trance was a little knocking a sound coming from her door accompanied by a kind and enthusiastic voice.

"It's time!" Shouted an excited voice, a voice she recognized.

She turned to look at her watch and even though it had only been a few seconds, it had actually been hours.

"Are you there?" Asked the voice that had already recognized.

"I'm coming" She replied with her fragile voice while hiding the note and prepared to leave.

"What took you so long?" Asked the restless earth pony.

"Yes, it seemed an eternity, and you know how much I hate waiting" Said the impatient pegasus.

"Waiting is not appropriate for a pony" Said the desperate unicorn.

"I'm sorry," She told them as they walked through the forest to the village, that path she knew so much and that despite the time did not seem monotonous that unlike hes friends she appreciated because unlike other roads this was always constantly changing and is never the same two days in a row that path that brought so much wonder in the past now was only fear and uncertainty because when she returned she knew what she was going to face and she would do it alone.

And while her friends were laughing and talking as they went to the village, she could not help but feel that something deep in the forest was watching her and worse still something was waiting for her, but what she did not know was that she should not be afraid for what was waiting for her in the bushes, if not for what was waiting for her at Poniville.
