The Pink Prodigy
Prologue
I love Fridays!
Maybe it’s the anticipation for the weekends, or the fact my family has pizza, but I think I just like them.
It was recess, of course, and I was with my two best friends in the whole universe. Daxton and dommy. Yes their names both start with “D”.
The school yard was the same as it always was, green grass, black fence and concrete, pretty standard stuff. And the weather was great! Sun, clouds and a cool breeze. This was great.
Most school days were pretty boring and I couldn’t care less for them, but today I was unnaturally happy! Why, who cares!
Should I describe myself? Sure, why not. I’m twelve with brown hair and brown eyes. I have blue glasses, and an orange watch. Daxton looks the same except he doesn’t have glasses or a watch, and dommy has the same hair, but has no glasses and has blue eyes.
Now I would mention the conversation my friends were having, but I was more focused on something else. My thoughts.
More specifically, thinking about my thoughts. Now recently I have been experiencing strange brain slip-ups like, for example, calling my hair a “mane”. And sometimes my brain would find ways to involve ponies into everything I think about!
Oh, did I mention I’m a brony?
I probably should have mentioned that before but I guess…
What’s going on with the clouds?
Somehow, the clouds were somehow turning dark and grey, and, the seemed to also be releasing lightning.
“Hey guys...” I asked. “Is it just me or are the clouds more… evil looking?”
Just then I noticed the Lightning falling like crazy!
Instead of acting how any action hero would, I just let instincts take over.
“RUN!”
Everyone in the playground went into a mad dash for the school, some were even screaming in terror.
A couple meters away from the door, I met up with my other 2 friends, Nora and tanner.
“Guys hurry up, were almost there!” I screamed. But my friends were too slow.
Too slow to dodge the incoming lightning strikes about to hit all five of us.
“ARGH!” we screamed in unison.
And just like that, the storm stopped.
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. I bet you’re all wondering why I’m not in the hospital. Well, turns out that lightning was non-lethal as none of us seemed to be in pain.
Now I was just getting ready for bed.
After I finished my nighttime routine, I hopped in bed and got ready for the weekend.
Well this dream was interesting… usually I don’t have dreams, at all, but this one was… odd. All around was white space, nothing but me and a strange necklace. The necklace was gold and had a blue gem shaped like a balloon in its center.
Before I could even react to it, the necklace turned into a blue shining ball, and, flew straight into me! Ow. And without warning the dream ended.
“Well that dream sucked… the one time I have a dream, its white space. Great…”
I was feeling off today… my hands felt all strange, my body too, I felt like I was covered in a fur blanket, there was some strange felling near my bottom and I smelled like cotton candy… which wasn’t that bad.
I just fell out of bed, unwilling to get up normally, and stood up, or tried to at least as I fell right on my bottom when I tried to stand.
“What’s with me today…” I pondered “it’s like I’m in some bad sto-“
Well… I must have been in some bad story… because… I was a pony…
“Well… crap…”
