//-------------------------------------------------------// Fallout Equestria: The Forsaken ones -by Ralphtheheavy- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Prologue    War. War never changes. The three pony races clashed over welfare and resources during the great snowstorm. The changelings preyed upon ponykind, seeking love to pacify their almost eternal hunger. In an alternate age, Sombra took control of half the land, creating an economic superpower from a battered and broken Crystal Empire. And yet, war never changes. Upon the creation of the Megaspells, all of Equestria prepared themselves for the end of the world. What they got instead was something miraculous; magic was used not as a destructive force, but a nearly unlimited source of power. From both magic and advanced technology came forth luxuries that once belonged in the realm of fantasy; domesticated robots, hoof-held terminals, even fusion-powered air craft.    Then came disaster. An era came when a dream became a nightmare, and eons of consumption lead to vast shortages of resources. The world unraveled. Peace was now nothing more but a comforting dream. On the brink of total war, all races stood... afraid. For themselves, for their families, for their friends.    Years later, Equestria became a decayed, almost sunless wasteland. Many had perished, but those who had survived the Megaspell bombing found ways to keep going. There were some who were fortunate enough to reach sanctuary, taking refuge in subterranean shelters known as Stables. Upon the passing of the great darkness, the doors of these stables would open and those who inhabit them would step outside to begin their lives again. One such stable dweller, a pony whom many call "the Light Bringer", was said to have saved all of Equestria from a terrifying evil. As many stories proclaimed, this evil arose from the south. Whatever it touched became corrupted, turned into something they weren't before. The evil was defeated only through the Light Bringer's courage. But was it TRULY worth it? In so doing, she had suffered great losses while also causing some. She had sacrificed much of herself for the sake of saving the world. She was forsaken by the ponies of Stable 2, but she still kept going, and many of her living friends stood by her side.    Many years later, a gang of terrorists patrolled a section within the north. The group consisted of a griffon, a yak, a diamond dog, and leading the group; a pony. This particular pony was an alicorn, but she remained the same size as a normal pony. The Alicorn scanned the area, and looked back at her group. "Stay on your toes, men," she told them, "It won't be long before we put our plan into action. Soon, there shall be hell to pay." //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The Kidnapping //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The Kidnapping Chapter 1: The Kidnapping    In a camp outside of Ponyville, There were two ponies out. One was an olive green filly with a blue mane and tail. Her name was Scotch Tape, and she was feeling rather playful this morning. Nearby was an older unicorn pony, Grey in color and with a mane of brown. THIS was the Light Bringer, Littlepip. She was keeping a close eye on Scotch Tape while Blackjack's group were on a reconnaissance mission. Both mares had met in the Tenpony Tower in Manehatten and were close friends ever since. It was fortunate enough that Littlepip would be chosen for a task since Scotch's mother, Duct Tape, had passed away and her father, P-21, had to stick around with the Reapers of whom Blackjack was among. It seemed quiet that day, and Littlepip was already resting. Neither her nor Scotch noticed an ominous figure creeping closer to them.    It was a griffon, the one who worked for the Alicorn. From a safe distance, he eyed the young filly. "Excellent," he whispered to himself, "One quick swipe, and I'll have the kid." Slowly, the griffon moved. Sure enough, he flashed out and whisked Scotch Tape away from sight. The surprised scream awoke Littlepip and she looked around for Scotch Tape dazed and confused. "What happened?" She spoke, "Where'd you go, Scotch?" She noticed some foot marks on the ground. One pair being eagle talons, the second belonging to the paws of some great cat. This should explain SOMETHING, but what would whatever came through here want with Scotch Tape?    Later on, she had to discuss what happened with her company. Velvet Remedy told her that this wasn't the only thing that had happened. "We just saw this yak come in out of nowhere, rampaging through here," she told her, "Clearly he was looking for something." "Where could they have gone, though?" Littlepip asked, "Do they have a lair?" "There's a structure north of here," Calamity answered, "Should be somewhere in the Crystal Mountains. THAT could be where they're hidin'." Littlepip checked her pipbuck's map. "There?" she said, pointing at the spot, "At least NOW I have a location." "They got a diamond dog with them," added Velvet, "and apparently, it's pretty smart." But Littlepip didn't quiver at the thought; she HAD to save Scotch Tape. Packing up some healing potions, rad-away, and Stimpaks, she prepared to leave, taking her magnum revolver with her. "I gotta go," she told them, "I can't have them harming the poor kid." "Alright, but be careful," Calamity said, "One of em's smart, the second's fast, and the third cut through buildings like they were radroaches, so they GOTTA be tough!" She nodded in understanding, and soon ran off to the villains' hideout. A few seconds later, though, Velvet turned to her husband. "You think we should help her?" "We might," Calamity answered. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Dark Intents //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Dark Intents Chapter 2: Dark Intents    The Crystal Mountains was a section within the Frozen North. It was a cold range of mountains that served as an earth-made "fence" that guarded the Crystal Empire. There, within these mountains, was a tall structure which seemed to be stretching towards the heavens. The dark atmosphere inside seemed to match the residents' personalities to a tee. Scotch Tape looked around, an anxious feeling within her. What exactly did they want? And what were they going to do with her? From hearing their conversations, she learned that the trio of freaks who stole her actually had names. The griffon: Gavino, the diamond dog: Fenrir, the yak: Ivor. As for their leader, she too had a name of her own; that name being Jayne. She seemed to have a beige pelt, brown hair, and what appeared to be a bleeding eye for a cutie mark. "You have done well in retrieving four of the artifacts," she told them, "But there is still two more to obtain." Scotch Tape remembered; there were six artifacts that served as keys for the Chest of Harmony, each one upholding a specific value. These objects were a rainbow thread spool, a pre-war Wonderbolts pin, a rubber chicken, a flower, a bit, and probably the most powerful; Scorpan's medallion. They already have the bit, the pin, the chicken, and the spool in their possession.    "It won't be long now before we accomplish our goal," said Jayne, a sly smirk crossing her face, "Once I obtain the gift of invincibility, not even the Watcher will stand a chance." Interesting, Scotch Tape thought to herself, This pony is an alicorn, yet she's still mortal. "We have already learned of the final two's positions," Ivor told Jayne, "It's only a matter of time before they're in our grasp." "Okay, so..." Scotch spoke up. Jayne took notice almost immediately. "Yes?" "What exactly do you need ME for?" Scotch asked, "If you just want these artifacts, then what good am I?" "I could use a fourth disciple," Jayne answered, "Three warriors are enough, but four? Combined with immortality, I would be TRULY powerful!" Fenrir stifled a chuckle. "Isn't that great?" he said, "You get to live." "You," Scotch Tape scoffed, "teach me YOUR skills? After you kidnapped me? I don't think Either Blackjack or Littlepip would approve..." "What's that?" Jayne said, "The Light Bringer? The Maiden of the Stars?" "Uh-huh," Scotch answered, "Best hope they don't get here, or you'll be sorry~." "You'd best keep your mouth shut about that Hellmare if you know what's good for you," Gavino barked. Jayne kept silent. I've heard of this pony before, she thought, She was the one who thwarted Red Eye's plan to become the newest God of the Wasteland.    As Jayne sent both Ivor and Gavino to find the two artifacts, Scotch Tape took the opportunity to try and escape. At first, it seems to go well, but sure enough, Jayne spotted her and zapped a tranquilizing spell on Scotch Tape, causing her to fall asleep. She then walked towards the sleeping filly, a devious look in her eyes. "Just TRY to leave us," she smirked, "I dare you."
