Shadows 1
I hummed to myself as I walked through the convention, wearing a orange hoodie, blue pants and red sneakers. I had gone to this convention purely because I was bored, idly twirling my shoulder-length black hair a bit.
As I walked around, a booth caught my eye. I walked over to it, looking for anything interesting to buy.
“See anything of interest my dear?” a voice said. I looked up to see someone standing in front of me with black clothes that covers them from head to toe and some sort of mask covering their face.

“Those masks and that cool wash on tattoo.” I said, pointing to some masks and said tattoo. He looked at the items and chuckled.
“Ahhh good eye miss, those took me some time to acquire but I believe they are worth it.” he said.
“How much?” I asked.
“Well, it took me a bit to get them so… around two thousand.” I frowned a bit. “Damn… don’t sell any of that, I’ll be right back.”
“Hold on” he said. “Normally two K but… I like you so how about two hundred and fifty.”
“That’s… more manageable.” I said, smiling and pulling my wallet out, handing the person three one-hundreds. “Keep the change.” I told him, grabbing the masks and tattoo, putting the masks inside my hoodie for now.
“I’ll see you around.” I called, walking away. I explored the con a little more, whistling to myself, before finding a water fountain. I smiled, walking over and taking the tattoo out, using the fountain when noone was looking to put it on my right ankle, under my clothes.
As I finished applying the tattoo, I felt woozy, falling over and blacking out.
When I woke up, I was in a strange forest, thoroughly confused. “Where the heck am I?” I asked, voice higher, as if I was younger. I blinked in surprise.
“Oh no…” I mumbled, realizing what must’ve happened, I ran until I found a pond, looking in and seeing a twelve year version of myself. “DAMMIT!”
I heard growling coming from behind me suddenly, making me freeze, slowly turning and seeing a wolf made out of wood. I yelped in fear, socking the thing, making it give a surprised look that I didn’t see as I ran away from it. As the thing chased me, more and more starting showing up.
I had a head start, but the things were too plentiful and too many, cutting me off and making me change directions so many times, eventually cornering me at the edge of a cliff.
I looked back at the wooden wolves fearfully, knowing I had no way out of this. “HELP!” I cried, covering my eyes and raising my arms as if to protect myself.
I heard the sounds of something fighting the wolves, opening my eyes, widening them in surprise at the creatures I saw.

I saw a ton of these with wooden shards around them, obviously the remains of the wooden wolves. The ninja looking beings walked over and kneeled before me.
“Did you… appear because I called for help?” I asked, surprised. One nodded, making me widen my eyes, before a smile grew on my face. “Sweet.”
As I said this I hear the sound of wings from behind me. I turn and saw… a flying horse person. And that wasn’t the strangest part about it. This person had a horn on her head, wore a long sun like dress, had a teal colored mane and white fur and with her was some sort of red bird… I’ve already seen too many disney films to see where this was going.
“Are you hurt, little one?” She asked me as she set down on the ground. “My names-.”
“Let me guess… Princess?”
The figure in question looked rather surprised to hear me say that… which told me that I was right. “How do you-?”
“You’re wearing a dress and have an animal companion. It seems kind of obvious.” I told her sarcastically, practically deadpan. She blinked at me before her eyes started to glow before she fired a beam at one of the shadow ninja.
This seemed to make the rest aggressive, them all leaping up at the strange person. The horse princess made a gesture and fired another beam. Hurting them as I snarled a little. “What is your problem, lady!? They saved me just now-!”
My anger seemed to cause more to appear, shadowy portals forming, the shadow ninjas rising from them.
“Y-you're making them?” she said, her eyes narrow at me.
“W-wait I ca-” Was all I could get out, before she shot a beam at me. The beam was intercepted by one of the shadow ninjas, my eyes widening at this.
“You may look like a child but I can not allow you to bring harm to my kingdom.” she said preparing another attack.
“Can’t we just talk about this-!?” I asked, only getting another blast, this one closer to my face before it was deflected away. “I don’t even know how I’m doing this!!”
She didn't listen to me as she started to glow. Looks like the only other choice I had was to defend myself… or run. “Get me outta here!” I ordered one of the shadow ninja.
One of them picked me up and bolted into the forest as the others distracted the horse lady. The shadow carried me far away, before setting me down in a clearing.
I let out a sigh before I heard the sound of wings. Oh god she found me! I turned to look at her, but my fearful look turned to confusion at what I saw.
The horse person looked like the other one but with midnight blue fur and a black dress, not having the bird with her. “Are you gonna attack me to?” I asked.
“Not without reason, which I do not have one.” she said calmly. I calmed at this, titling my head at her.
“Who… are you?” I asked.
“Princess Luna, the princess of the night.” she turned away. “Though I doubt anyone really cares.”
“Why’s that?” I asked, walking closer to her.
“Because nopony cares about the night.” she said. “I spend hours making the the night sky amazing but do they care, no.”
“I use to like the night better, where I come from.” I told her. She raised an eyebrow at me.
“Used to?” she said crossing her arms.
“I don’t know what the night here looks like, so…” I trailed off, shrugging.
“I see…” her eyes trailed to the shadow ninja, narrowing her eyes.
“What is it?” I asked.
“I have seen many creatures over the years but never one like this.” she said. She didn't look like she was going to blast it, instead looking more curious.
“I… don’t know what it is, it and a bunch of others looking like it came to help me when I was attacked by some wooden wolves.” I told Luna.
“Timberwolves.” she said. “Spirits of evil and rot that take rotting wood to make their bodies.”
“Yeah, those, they had me cornered on a cliff before a bunch of these shadow ninja dudes came and saved me.” I said, gesturing to the ninja.
“Shadow ninja… dudes.” she said tilting her head.
“I don’t know what they’re called.” I repeated, shrugging. “They came out of shadows, and their ninjas, so…”
“You said it like there's more of them but I only see one.” she said. I responded by scrunching my face up in concentration, three shadowy portals appearing and more of the ninjas rising out of them. “Ahh, okay.”
“I summoned them by accident earlier, I’m glad that I can do it on purpose.” I said, smiling a little bit.
“That's good… I think.” she said. I shrugged.
“So, was the white one of you I saw earlier trying to blast me your sister, or something?” I asked.
“Yes… she's my sister.” she shifted a bit. “She jumps to the worse possible thing at times.” she said with a sheepish smile.
“That’s okay, I guess, as long as she doesn’t attack me anymore.” I said.
“I don't know.” she said..
“She probably will again… won’t she?” I asked, sighing. She nodded at me.
“I don't see why but she's over protective.” she said.
“Do… you know anywhere I could go?” I asked. “To not have to worry about her, I mean.”
“Hmmm… there's one place up north.” she said..
“What’s there?” I asked, tilting my head.
“There's a place called the Crystal Empire.” she said.
“And you think that’ll be safe for me?” I asked.
“Of course, my sister hates the cold.” she said with a smile. I smiled, inwardly happy at this.
“Okay then… I guess this is goodbye, for now, then.” I said. She waved at me before disappearing in a flash.
“Take me to the Crystal Empire.” I ordered the shadow ninjas. They nodded, one picking me up, the other three forming a triangle formation around me and we left.
When we got to the Crystal Empire, my skin was slightly blue, and I was shivering violently. “G-get h-h-help.” I ordered one of my escorts, it nodding and shooting off.
It returned soon after with another pony-person, this one also looking like a princess.
“Oh my, we need to get her inside.” she said. She brought me and the others to a crystal castle, fitting, and lead to a room with a hearth. She made a blanket appear and floated me over to the hearth and wrapped me up snugly. Slowly I started to stop shaking.
“T-thank you.” I said, my four ninjas surrounding me protectively.
“No problem dear, can I ask what's your name?” she asked.
“J-jade.” I decided.
“Greetings Jade, I'm princess Amore.” she greeted.
“C-can… I stay here?” I suddenly asked. She eyed me for a moment.
“Can I ask why?” She asked.
“I-i h-have nowhere else to go.” I mumbled.
“Hmm… well I don't see why not.” she said with a smile. I smiled at this, feeling happier. “So… where did you come from?”
“Another world.” I told her. She raised an eyebrow.
“I would question this but… you look like you're not around here.” she said.
“Just a little.” I said, nodding in agreement.
“Well, it's nice to have met you.” she said as she stood up. “I have things to do but I'll be back in a bit.” with that she left me alone with the ninjas.
“Let’s explore.” I said, standing and starting to wander with the four ninja in a square formation around me. Eventually, I ran into a grey horse-person who looked important.

“Hello.” I said.
“Hello… who are you?” he asked.
“I’m Jade, the princess said I could stay here for a while.” I told him, smiling, not noticing myself turning a little more blue.
“I see, well I'm Sombra, royal advisor to the princess… by the way did you notice that you are turning blue, did you get frostbite?” he asked.
“No, I’m not cold anymore.” I said, confused, my eyes having gone from brown to red at some point.
“Well your skin is blue… and eyes are changing colour. Is this a thing that aliens like you can do?” he asked.
“N-no, w-we’re not supposed to, anyway.” I said, sounding scared. He looked around then back at me.
“Uhh… don't be scared it’s… Uhh looks nice and…” he turns away. “Why is this hard? I’ve done things that no other can and this is making things hard.”
“What things?” I asked, having heard his little rant.
“When things that make sense don't make sense.” he said. He looked at me for a moment. “You wouldn't understand.”
“Are they… ‘dark’ things?” I asked. He narrowed his eyes at me.
“What do you mean by ‘dark’ things?” he asked..
“I don’t know… I just get this… dark feeling from you.” I said, tilting my head again. He stared at me before looking around.
“I have… done research into something… dark, related, why do you want to know?” He ask.
“Can you teach me?” I asked. “All I can do right now is summon these guys.” he stared at me for a few moments.
“Child… are you asking me to teach you how to use dark magic?” he asked surprised.
“Why not?” I asked, sounding genuinely confused.
“I'm just surprised, I have never heard of someone ask that.” he said.
“It’s dark not evil.” I said simply. “I mean, most dark magic users use it for evil, but it doesn’t have to be.”
“Well, at least someone else thinks that.” he said with a smile.
“So, will you teach me?” I asked again.
“I guess so, never had a student before so this will be interesting.” he said. I smiled, chuckling inwardly.
“So, are we gonna have to go somewhere private for this?” I asked.
“The most private place is my study, we can go there.” he said.
“Lead the way.” I said, smirking. He lead me to his study, which is where we started my training.
“So, what first?” I asked eagerly.
A couple hours later
I was channeling dark magic, eyes leaking red, a dark purple aura around my hands.
“Good work.” he said with a frown.
“Why are you frowning?” I asked, idly making a small dark crystal form in-between my hands.
“Dark magic isn't evil but… it does corrupt.” he said. “The more you use it the more you'll… do for it.”.”
“Really? I… don’t think it’s corrupting me.” I said.
“You're just starting out so you won't feel anything, but other then that you did good.” he said with a smile.
I smiled, playing with the crystal I made, making it form into a small dagger. “Look!” I said, holding it out to him.
“Good work Jade.” he said with a big smile.
“I wonder how it’ll go up against real weapons…” I mused. He ruffled my hair a bit.
“We’ll see in the future, right now baby steps.” he said.
“Okay.” I said, smiling. I twirled my new dagger, smiling, before I realised something that made me frown. “I… won’t be able to carry this around, will I?”
“As is no.” he said. He showed me a necklace with a few crystals on it. “As like this you can carry as many as you want.”
I smiled, shrinking the dagger and grabbing a random small piece of string, tying the small dagger to it and putting it around my neck. He smiled at this.
“Sticking with daggers?” he asked.
“Well, I figured I have ninja minions, and a shadow thing going on, so I’ll go for sneaking kills, and I can always make it into something else if I need to.” I told him. He stared at me for a moment.
“I should be worry about how you said that but I don't know anything about your race.” he said with a chuckle.
“I’m talking ‘what ifs’, I’ll probably just make it dull and knock people out with it.” I told him, shrugging.
“Right, so if I find anyone knocked out I know who to find.” he said with a smirk. I pouted, crossing my arms and huffing. “Anyway let's get something to eat.”
“Okay.” I said, turning to the shadow ninjas. “Hide yourselves, I don’t want people panicking.” I ordered, them seemingly vanishing from view.
“Neat, anyway follow me.” he said. I nodded, doing so. He lead me into a large dining hall, me sitting down next to him.
“What do they have to eat here?” I asked.
“Dandy Flower sandwiches, salads, fruit, and lasagna.” he said as he opened a book and started to write in it. “Those are what we have today.”
“I’ll have some fruit.” I said. After a few moments some servants came and put a bowl of fruit in front of me and some lasagna in front of Sombra.
I tore into my fruit mercilessly, gobbling it down to the core.
“Hungry?” Sombra asked as he was eating his food slowly. I nodded.
“This is the first bits of food I’ve gotten since I got to this world.” I told him. He nodded as he went back to his food and book.
We somehow managed to finish at the same time, which confused me a little, though I didn’t bother asking how. “So, now what?” I asked.
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“I mean…” I started, before yawning. “What do ya wanna do now?”
“Well I have some work to do, you probably should have a nap.” he said.
“But I’m… not tired…” I mumbled sleepily, yawning mid sentence.
“You say that but your body seems to have other ideas.” he said with a chuckle.
I pouted, crossing my arms. He chuckled again and rubbed my head.
“You should rest, you had a long day today.” he said with a smile.
“Okay.” I mumbled, giving in. “Ninja… take me… to my room.” I mumbled, one appearing and taking me away to my room, putting me in bed and tucking me in. The ninja then disappeared into the shadows as the door closed.
The next day when I woke up, I saw that my skin was the same color as my ninjas. “Get me a mirror.” I ordered, one appearing at my side and handing me a hand mirror, me seeing my eyes as nothing but pools of red.
“Huh… get me something to wear.” I mumbled. The ninjas vanished for a couple seconds, before bringing me a black dress with a strange purple thing on it to wear.

I shrugged, changing into the clothes. “Take me to breakfast.” I ordered. The ninja nodded, taking me back to the dining hall and putting me in a seat. I saw both the princess and Sombra were there with some guards, the guards tensed up at the sight of me and the ninja.
“Morning.” I said. Sombra only nodded at me as he continued eating.
“Good morning Jade.” the princess said.
“What’s on the menu?” I asked.
“Fruit, or cereal.” one of the guards said.
“What’s the cereal made of?” I asked.
“Dried out wheat and some raisins.” the guard said.
“Fruit then, please.” I said, not really interested in that. The guard nodded and in a few moments a bowl of fruit was placed in front of me.
“So, what’s everyone doing today?” I asked, eating the fruit I was given.
“Work.” Sombra said. The princess nodded as she eat her food.
“Sounds boring.” I said, before blinking. “Anyone else notice the echo my voice has now?”
“Now you mention it yeah.” the princess said. “Are you getting a cold?”
“No.” I said, shaking my head. Sombra looked at me and narrowed his eyes.
“Maybe you’re just settling into this world.” he said.
“Maybe.” I said, shrugging.
“Anyway… what do you have planned today Jade?” the princess said.
“Nothing.” I said, shrugging.
“Sounds like any child's plan.” Sombra said with a smile.
“I have nothing to do.” I said, shrugging.
“Well, you can explore the castle if you want.” Sombra said as he stood up. “Good day princess.” and with that he left the room.
“I guess I’ll do that, see you later.” I said, getting up and walking out of the room.
“If you get lost ask one of the guards.” I heard the princess say.
“Okay!” I shouted back. After dismissing my shadows, I just started wandering, before I ended up outside somehow, by a heart shaped crystal. The crystal seemed to react to my presence as it started to glow a bit brighter.
I tilted my head, staying cautiously away from it and deciding to wander the streets. As I wandered, I came upon a group of crystal ponies… that immediately screamed and panicked upon seeing me. They yell something about me being a monster. Rude.
I decided to ignore them, continuing to wander around. A lot of the ponies kept their distance from me and the guards were watching me as I wander.
I started getting annoyed at the looks, turning to the ponies and growling. “What are you looking at?!” I shouted, unaware of my eyes glowing in my anger. The ponies took a few steps back and the guards went to there weapons.
I huffed, spinning on my heel and angrily walking away. I continued until I was back at the castle. When I got there, I immediately saw guards blocking my way.
I tried to just walk past them, but they wouldn’t let me. “Let me through!” I shouted.
They didn't move, me feeling myself get even more angry until a voice spoke out.
“Is there a problem?” Sombra asked as he walked up. The guards told him that they were keeping me out of the castle because I was some sort of threat. Sombra sighed.
“She's with me.” he said as he stood beside me. “Come along Jade.”
I smiled at him, following him, making sure to turn my head back and blow a raspberry at the guards.
“Manners.” he said as we walked into the castle.
“Spoilsport.” I said back, pouting.
“You also need to keep your anger in check, I felt dark magic from inside the castle.” he said.
“Sorry.” I said. He shook his head a bit.
“You didn't know so it's not really your fault but you have to keep calm.” he said.
“Okay.” I said, nodding.
“Also try to stay in the castle, before no one knew you were here.” he said as he frowned. “But now they do, this is going to make things harder.”
“How so?” I asked.
“Questions, a lot of questions.” he said with a chuckle. “ Being a ruler of a place isn't easy.”
“It’d probably be easier if your subjects didn’t talk… like my ninjas.” I commented.
“Maybe but how will the kingdom grow?” he asked.
“I dunno.” I said, shrugging.
“Well just know that sometimes you need someone to question you.” he said with a smile.
“Fair enough.” I said, shrugging. “Do you have time for… practice?” I asked.
“Want to get back to training?” he asked. I nodded. “Alright follow me.”
I followed him back to the study for the training.
A few hours later…
I had a bigger crystal in front of me, this one my size, literally.
“Good work, I'm impressed by your progress.” he said.
“Its coming more naturally… when are you gonna teach me that shadow thing?” I asked.
“Hmm… I don't see why not right now.” he said.
“Alright!” I said excitedly.
A half hour later…
I was giggled, going through things again and again, it giving a tingly feeling whenever I did.
“You look and sound like a giggling ghost.” Sombra said.
“My voice somehow has more of an echo like this.” I said, giggling again. He shook his head as he watched me before someone walked into the study. I watched the two talk for a few minutes before the being walked out. Sombra frowned a bit.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, re-forming next to him from where I had hidden.
“The two princesses are coming here to talk to Amore.” he said.
“Great, one of them I don’t mind, but the white one, Celestia I think, attacked me when she realised I summon these guys.” I said, motioning to a shadow ninja near me.
“That's why you’ll be hiding until they leave.” he said. “They'll be here in three days.”
“Where will I hide?” I asked.
“Don't know, start looking.” he said as he left the room.
“Find me a place to hide.” I ordered the shadow ninja near me.
Three days later…
I was hiding up on a ledge in the throne room, peeking over the edge and looking down, so I could see what was going on.
“That should be the last of it, we’ll send some gems over to Canterlot in about a week.” Sombra said. Over the three days I learned things about the Crystal Empire, like the fact that it has one of the biggest gem mines in the land. It seems that the two princesses came to make a trading deal with Amore.
“Thank you, by the end of that week some farmers will come over and help with your crops.” Celestia said. Luna stood by her silently as she looked around. She looked up where I was but didn’t see me.
“Well it was so nice to met you again Celestia, Luna, but I have some things to do.” Amore said to them.
“Of course, oh and one last thing.” Celestia started. “Have anyone seen a girl about twelve years old?” she then made a image of myself when I met her, she told them that I was dangerous and what not. Sombra and Amore looked at one another for a moment as Luna shifted nervously.
“We have not.” Amore said. “But if we do we’ll send word.”
“Thank you Princess Amore.” And with that Celestia and Luna disappeared.
I waited a couple seconds, making sure they were gone, before I hopped down, floating gently down, turning to the two. “Thanks for not giving me away.” I said.
“Not a problem dear, really I don’t see what goes through Celestia’s head, sure those shadow ninja are a bit odd but you get used to them and I don’t see why you’re so dangerous.” she paused for a moment. “Other than your temper.”
I pouted at this, crossing my arms and huffing, somehow managing to make the action adorably despite my demonic look. Amore giggled a bit before looking at Sombra.
“Are you sure she’s not yours, she acts like you when you were younger.” Amore said. Sombra groaned a bit.
“For the thousandth time no she’s not.” he said. I put a horrified look on my face, making gagging noises.
“See! Just like you!” She said happily. Sombra face palmed.
“I’m done, I’m going back to my study.” he said before marching out. I let out a creepy echoing giggle in amusement at this.
“You’re enjoying this, aren’t you.” Amore asked me.
“A little.” I said, tilting my head, before grinning. “It’s like we’re a big happy family.”
“Careful, if you say that near Sombra he’ll be annoyed.” She said with a smile.
“Aw, I was hoping that’d fluster you.” I said, pouting and crossing my arms again. She blinked at me for a moment.
“Wait… you meant that?” she asked.
“A little.” I admitted. She stared at me for a minute before blushing.
“I… have stuff to do.” she said before disappearing. I giggled, much more please at this reaction.
I decided to go see what Sombra was up to, having a Shadow ninja carry me to his study, because it was faster… and I was lazy. I saw Sombra reading a book, before he looked up at me.
“You know you have two non-broken legs.” he said.
“I know.” I said, having the ninja put me down. “I just didn’t feel like walking.” He rolled his eyes and went back to the book he was reading.
“Whatcha reading?” I asked, suddenly peeking over his shoulder.
“Just something I found by Starswirl, it seems that there’s these masks with different powers to them, any magic researcher would do anything to get even one of them in their hands.” he said.
“Wait, what do they look like?” I asked, suddenly much more interested. He gave me the book to look through.
“There were reports of others finding them but they all are fakes.” he said. He grumbled a bit as I looked through the book.
“Are you sure they were fake? Maybe they just… couldn’t tap into them?” I suggested, looking through the book.
“Most of them had a label that they were made in some other place, one had something that said. ‘Made in China’ what and where is China?” he asked.
“Somewhere from my world.” I said. He nodded.
“Maybe… wait back up what do you mean by couldn’t tap into them?” he asked me while eyeing me.
“I mean I don’t want copies of my masks running around.” I said simply. He stared at me and leaned closer to me.
“Your masks?” he said. “Now that’s interesting to know.”
I put my hand behind my back, like I was reaching for something, before pulling out one of the said masks. I showed it to him as he stared at it.
“And you have one of them all this time…” he said looking at me.
“I have all of them, they’re mine… but I don’t remember exactly what they do.” I told him. He stared at me for a moment and then put his head in his hands.
“You have all of them, of course you do, you have all the masks that every magic researcher wants their hands on.” he said. “You… are impossible.”
“I try.” I said with a giggle. He took a deep breath and waved his hand, making the door closed.
“Well, lets see them.” he said as he pulled a table out with nothing on it. I watched him pull it out with his two hands. I nodded, reaching back and setting the masks together on the table one by one. Sombra looked at each one closely without touching them.
“Well, these are the real thing, that much I can tell.” he said as he looked at the book.
“Yep.” I said, smiling.
“This is most interesting, supposedly each of this masks are part of one of the nine ninja clans.” he said as he looked at me. “The same ninja that you seem to summon at will.”
“Really?” I asked, tilting my head. He nodded as he went to the first one, a red one with yellow horns.
“This one to be in fact.” he said. “I think there’s more to you than I thought, you have some sort of connection to these masks.”
“Do you think I could summon the other tribes?” I asked.
“Maybe, this is something that I have never dealt with before, this is something older than the Empire… heck even all of Equestria.” he said.
I looked at one of the shadows in the room, concentrating on summoning something other than my ninjas. Slowly, a form started raising from the shadow.

“That’s a yeees~” I sing songed, smiling widely. Sombra chuckled at me.
“Well, now I seen this I wonder about the other items that are out there.” he said.
“What other items?” I asked. Sombra walked over and pulled out two books and opened one of them.
“Well, one set is some Talismans that give the users different powers, depending on what the symbol is.” he said as he showed me. The Talismans are arranged like the chinese zodiac and have an animal marked in each one. The other book showed a odd looking puzzle box.
“This is something called the Pan’ku box, it’s the key to open eight doors that will release a terrible demon.” Sombra said.
“Okay… SHADOWS!” I called, bringing many of both the regular and razor ninjas to my side. “Go find these for me.” I ordered, pointing at the box and the talismans. They nodded and went off, I looked at Sombra as he stared at me.
“This… is going to be interesting.” he said. “You’re going to bring every magic artifact here… boy you’re full of surprises.”
“I want more superpowers.” I said simply, shrugging. “Though I’m locking that box up somewhere.”
“... You have all nine masks, about to get all twelve talismans and the box that will open the doors to the most powerful demons… all in the hands of a twelve year old… I think that’s the most scariest thing I have ever heard.” Sombra said.
“You’re just scared I’m gonna get more powerful than you.” I teased, sticking my tongue out at him.
“That, and you have no idea how to use these powers.” he deadpan.
“I seem to be ordering my shadows around just fine.” I said, crossing my arms and pouting.
“Yes, but for how long?” he asked. “So far only two are listening to you but do you think the others will so easily?”
“Unless someone puts one of the masks on, yes.” I said, picking said masks up and putting them back where I had them. He nodded.
“Just… be careful.” he said softly.
“Okay.” I said, my voice managing to lose its echo for a second, eyes regaining the white in them for a second as I smiled at him. He smiled and ruffled my hair a bit.
“You’re still a kid and have a lot to learn, I believe you’ll become a great mage in the future.” he said.
“Thanks.” I said, before I impulsively gave him a hug. He was shocked at first before giving me a hug.
Four years later…
I blasted at the target with my dark magic, it formed a beam from my hands, shattering the target and covering the splinters in crystal. “How was that?” I asked.
“That was good, very good work as always Jade.” Sombra said.
I smiled, my eyes going back to having whites in them again. “Thanks, daddy.” I said. He smiled as he ruffled my hair a bit.
“Now, don’t you have a meeting with the princess about something?” he asked.
“Probably.” I said, shrugging, eyes going back to their normal. He waved me off to go see her. I turned and went off to see the princess. When I found her she finished talking to some nobles as they were walking out. She smiled at me as I walked in.
“Jade, it’s good to see you.” she said.
“It’s good to see you to.” I said, smiling.
“How have you been, I hope you haven’t picked up more of Sombra habits from all the time you spend with him, who knows what I’d do with two of you running around.” she said with a chuckle.
“Be very amused?” I asked sarcastically. She rolled her eyes at me.
“So, how’s your studies going, I’m kinda curious with all the relics that go through the study.” she asked.
“Good.” I replied with a smirk, idy grabbing onto the necklace with almost all the talismans on it around my neck. She nodded and looked around before standing up.
“Mind walking with me.” she asked.
“Sure.” I said, moving to stand next to her. We walked through the halls for a bit until we were alone.
“Jade… I’m worried for Sombra.” she said. “Have you seen anything… strange about him?”
“No…” I said, trailing off, sounding confused.
“I thought maybe it was nothing, with all the research of dark magic he’s been doing.” she said. She looked at me with a sad smile. “Trust me Jade, you and Sombra are two powerful mages but I have my ways.”
“Well, I haven’t really noticed anything off.” I said honestly.
“Well… you do look up to him like a father, right?” she asked me. I nodded, wondering where she was going with this. “I’ve known him since when we were young, we’ve been friends for the longest time but now… something is off, he hides it well but there’s somethings that seem… off about him.”
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“It’s the way he does things, he’s a bit of a creature of habit he does things a certain way but he’s doing things differently.” she looked down. “I fear that he’s poking at something that shouldn’t be poked at, I just worry Jade.”
“I hope he’s okay.” I mumbled worriedly. She stops and gives me a hug.
“Please keep an eye on him, if you see something that’s off please pull him out of it.” she said softly.
“Okay.” I said softly back, eyes in there more human like appearance. She pulled back and smiled.
“You two are the closest friends I have ever have, I don’t want to lose you two.” she said. I nodded, before hugging her again. She pulled away and walked back the the throne room. She gave me one last smile before leaving me alone in the hallway.
I decided to get back to daddy, turning and going to his study. When I got there I saw him reading some books. He didn’t seem the notice me. Curious, I moved behind him, peeking over his shoulder to see what he was reading. I saw some more shadow magic that was a bit darker than what I have already learned and some notes on the crystal heart.
“Whatcha reading?” I asked. He quickly closed the book and looked at me.
“Oh… uh nothing important, how was the princess?” he asked.
“Just wanted to talk to me about my day… and tell me she knows about our… extra project.” I said, flashing my dark magic. He chuckled a bit.
“I figured, she’s good at finding out things.” he said as he shook his head.
“Remember when she found out it was me that did that prank when I was thirteen?” I asked.
“Yeah, she had you clean the throne room for a month.” he laughed. I smiled a bit but… I notice something about his laugh, it wasn’t the same, it sounded the same but it just didn’t feel the same.
“Are you alright?” I asked, worried.
“What do you mean? I feel fine.” he said.
“You feel off.” I told him. He frowned a bit.
“Trust me Jade, I’m fine.” he said.
“If you say so daddy.” I said, deciding to not push him on this.
“Anyway I have some things to work on and I want to work on them alone if you wouldn’t mind.” he said turning away from me.
“Yes daddy.” I said, turning and leaving.
A couple months later…
It only got worse from there, Daddy only acting more and more different, me having grown distant to him because of this and hanging around the princess more, me feeling depressed about how things were going. Amore tried to talk to him at points but he snaps at her to leave him alone, now he locks himself in his study and keeps everyone out of it.
“He’s completely changed, he’s not the Sombra I knew from before.” Amore said sadly.
“Yeah.” I agreed sadly.
“Jade, I’m worried, what if he does something that would damage the Empire? As a princess I can’t let that happen.” she said. “Is there some way to stop him? Turn him back to his normal self?”
“I don’t know.” I whispered. She shook her head a bit and sighed.
“As much as I know you don’t like it if anything happen I might call for the other two princesses for help.” she said.
I said nothing, simply looking at the wall.
“Let’s wait and watch, if something happens we’ll act.” she gave me a sad smile. I said nothing again, remaining silent. She pulled me into a hug without saying a word. I hugged her back, shaking. She rubbed my back as she rocked me back and forth to calm me down.
I ended up falling asleep from this, looking peaceful when I was.
Hours later…
When I woke up, one of my ninjas was there… holding the dragon talisman. I smiled, taking it and putting it on my necklace. With all twelve I felt the power of them hum in unison. The talismans glowed, before they seemed to phase into me.
My eyes widened as I looked at my arms, two on each of my upper arms and forearms, four on my back, and four on my legs, tattoos showing where each one was. The ninja bowed to me as I looked at the tattoos. “Good job, dismissed.” I said, waving my hand at the shadow, it nodding before vanishing.
I walked out of my room, to see the guards in a panic. One of them almost ran into me as I moved out of the way.
“The princess been turned into crystal! Lord Sombra lost it!” he yelled as he ran. My eyes widened, before I started running to the throne room, bursting in. Standing in front of me was Amore, turned into crystal. Daddy was sitting on the throne smiling.
“Ahhh, hello Jade.” he said.
“Daddy, what’s going on?” I asked.
“Getting what I deserved, I’ve been this mares underling for too long, now that she’s out of the way I can rule, as King Sombra!” he said with a laugh.
“But… she was your friend.” I said, sounding confused.
“She was using me, I’ve been told that but now she’s out of the way.” he said. “What’s with the confused look dear? Now she’s like this she can’t use you.”
“Use me?” I asked, only more confused.
“You have a gift Jade, one that she fears, I was told about you and now.” he said leaning in. “It’s time we show the world that they should fear us.”
“What do you mean, daddy?” I asked. He smiled as his eyes turned red.
“What I mean is that we will rule this world.” he said as he tilted his head. “Jade, where are my Talismans?”
“The strangest thing happened when I got the dragon, they all glowed and went into me, I got these cool tattoos from it.” I told him.
“I see… mind… giving me them back.” he said in a different voice.
“I would, but… you’re possessing my father you demon.” I growled. “Shadows, attack!” I called, jumping back and levitating away as some from every tribe of shadows appeared. He growled a bit as he made a crystal claymore appear.
“Guess I have to rip them out of you, you brat.” he said as he charged at me. The shadows jumped at him as he started to cut them down.
“...Run Jade…” a voice said to me. I looked around until I looked at the crystal Amore. “... get… help…”
I looked torn, before nodding, shooting lasers from my eyes at Sombra before I turned and flew off. I looked back at the castle which looked darker than before. I felt tears running down my face as I flew off.
I flew straight to Equestria, stopping outside of the castle of two sisters. I had my shadows get me a cloak to put on, before walking up to the gate.
“Halt!” One of the guards yelled out. “What do you want?”
“I bring a warning.” I said, voice echo greatly subdued for now. “The princesses must hear it immediately.”
“And what warning is that?” the guard asked.
“Sombra has been possessed by a demon, and Amore turned to dark crystals.” I said. The guard looked at the other for a moment.
“And why should we believe you?” the guard said.
“You can feel the negativity from here.” I deadpanned. The guard stared at me as I notice the other stood at attention.
“What's going on here?” I heard a familiar voice said. I turned and saw Luna with two of her guards with her. “Jade? What are you doing here”
“Sombras been possessed.” I told her.
“She could be lying princess.” the guard said. Luna stared at him, then at me then, up at the sky.
“I can feel the dark magic from here.” she deadpan.
“Uhh…” the guard started before Luna taking my hand and porting me to her room.
“Now, tell me what happened.” she said. I did so, tears in my eyes by the end of it, legs against my chest as I hugged myself, sniffling. I felt her arms around me as she gave me a hug.
“It's okay Jade, I'm here.” she said before chuckling. “Seems like only yesterday that you were doing this when I had my mental breakdown.”
“Y-yeah.” I mumbled, sniffling again. We stayed like that for a bit before pulling away.
“Feeling better?” she asked as she looked at me. I nodded. “Now, as much as it will pain the both of us to do, we have to talk to my sister… tomorrow, she gets cranky for waking her from her “beauty sleep”.” she said doing the quotation marks.
I giggled a little. “Okay.” I said, yawning tiredly. She got up from the bed.
“You can sleep in my bed, I'll make a mattress for myself.” she said while making gestures in the air.
“Okay.” I mumbled, falling asleep.
The next day…
I woke up extremely groggy, looking around and realising where I was, and what happened, starting to tear up. I looked over and saw Luna sleeping on her mattress. “L-luna.” I said, sniffling, waking her.
“Five… more minutes.” she said before sitting up. I sniffled again, looking at her with my eyes having red irises and their whites ther. She looked at me before giving me a hug. “It's okay Jade, I'm here.”
We stayed like that for a bit before I heard her mutter something. “W-what was that?” I asked, sniffling, not having heard her.
“Umm… n-nothing.” she said blushing.
“Okay.” I said, sniffling. She pulled me closer to her.
“We have… a few hours before my sister wakes, want to talk while we wait?” she asked.
“I guess.” I said depressedly. She frowned and sat cross legged in front of me. Now that I looked at her, other then being thousands of years old she looked a few years older than me, maybe just a year.
“How about you ask me a question and I'll answer and I'll ask you.” she said.
“O-okay… how’ve t-things been here?” I asked.
“Oh things are going fine, we finally finished cleaning up the mess Discord made a long time ago.” she looked away frowning. “It was really odd and it took a long time.”
“F-from w-what you told me, h-he w-was the spirit of chaos, s-so odd should be normal.” I said. She rolled her eyes.
“Well cleaning up his mess is a pain in the ass.” she said with a giggle. “Now… what to ask you.”
As she thought on her question she shifted a bit and I saw that… she wasn't wearing any underwear. “Okay, why are you blushing?”
“Y-you’re naked.” I said, shuffling embarrassedly. “Why are you naked?”
“I like sleeping naked, besides we're both girls so what's the problem?” she asked.
“N-never seen someone else nude before.” I said, looking away. She giggled a bit.
“Aww, you look cute when you're embarrassed.” she teased.
“S-shut up!” I shouted in embarrassment, pulling the covers over my head. I saw a flash and she was under the covers with me.
“And I'm back.” she said sticking her tongue at me. I yelped, jerking back in surprise and falling over the side of the bed, my dress falling a little… to reveal I went commando under it last night. “Oh, well that's somethiaaaaahhh!”
I looked up to see her fall on top of me. I groaned a bit and saw that she was really close.
“Sorry about that.” she said. She looked at me for a moment. “You know, you have pretty eyes.”
“T-thanks…?” I said, blushing, sounding a little confused before I blushed more, realising I was still upside down, covering myself and sitting myself upright. She gave me the blanket as she made a robe appear around herself.
“Sorry, I kinda act like a kid when I have less clothes on.” she said blushing. “I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable.”
“J-just a tiny bit.” I said, covering myself with the blanket as I slipped my underwear back on.
“U-umm… I have one question for you but… it's a bit out there.” she asked nervously.
“O-okay…” I said. She shifted a bit.
“D-do you… swing that way?” she asked me. I blinked at her as she started to freak. “Ahhh, I'm sorry that's way to personal for you and…”
“N-no, i-it’s okay.” I told her. “I-i think I’m Bi, actually.”
“O-oh… o-okay.” she said blushing a bit more. I raised an eyebrow at her.
“What is it?” I asked.
“N-nothing.” she said quickly. She was looking all over the place but not me. It took me a few moments before I realised what's was going on.
“D-do y-you ‘like like’ me?” I asked. She didn’t say anything for a few minutes before nodding.
“A-a little.” she said. “We’ve seen each other for a long time and…”
“Let’s handle my father figure being possessed by a demon first, then see where this goes, okay?” I asked softly. She nodded as she fidgeted with her robe.
“We still have a few hours, what else do you want to talk about?” she asked.
“I dunno.” I said, shrugging.
“I do have to ask, what’s with the tattoos?” she asked pointing down at my legs.
“Oh, I got these from absorbing the talismans without meaning to.” I told her. “I was just gonna wear them as a necklace, but this works too.”
“Can… can I see?” she asked. “Unless it’s a bit uncomfortable for you to then never mind.”
“I don’t mind.” I said, moving my dress/robe thing so she could see the tattoos.
“Wow.” she said as she traced one of them with her hand. I shivered a bit from the touch. “S-sorry.”
“Bit sensitive, they went in literally minutes before I found out…” I trailed off, looking off to the side. She pulled me into a hug again as she saw this, I’m getting all the hugs from her.
I let her hug me for a couple minutes, before pulling away. “Maybe we should strategize while we wait?” I suggested.
“Yeah.” She said as she made a Captains hat and put it on. “What? This is my strategize hat.”
I giggled a little at her silliness, amused. We spent the next few hours talking and strategizing, at times I see her shifting in her robe a bit, it looked uncomfortable.
“Are you okay?” I asked.
“Robe is a bit uncomfortable, not used to wearing one for so long.” she said as she started scratching her arm. “How does one wear these?”
“Then change, I won’t p-peek.” I promised.
“If it gets me out of this robe.” she said before getting off the bed. I closed my eyes, waiting for her to say it was okay to look.
“Okay.” she said. I opened my eyes to see her… still naked with only the hat on. I yelped and closed my eyes as she laughs. “Sorry I had to do that, you look cute when you’re embarrassed.”
“Meanie.” I said childishly. After a few moments I felt someone got back into the bed.
“There I’m clothed… for real.” she said. I hesitantly removed my hand from one eye, peeking out at her. She was wearing clothes, only they were just her underwear.
“Come on!” I shouted, blushing and covering my eyes again.
“Oh come on they are clothes, I feel comfortable in them.” Luna said with a huff.
“G-get dressed, please.” I said. I heard a sigh and her getting out of the bed for a few minutes before getting back in. I peeked out, dreading what I’m going to see. I saw her wearing a tank top and some shorts.
“You’re no fun.” she said with a huff.
“I think it’s almost time for your sister to wake up.” I said, looking outside.Luna nodded as she offered her hand to me. I decided to take it, smiling at her. With that we ported in front of a set of doors with the sun on them.
“You ready?” she asked. I was about to answer before realising that I was still holding her hand. I blushed, quickly taking my hand back and nodding my head.
“Sorry.” she said blushing.
“I-it’s fine… you go in first.” I said, hiding behind her.
“Right…” she said before knocking on the door. “Sister? Are you awake?”
“...No.” I heard someone say from the doorway. Luna looked back at me.
“For someone who controls the sun, she’s not a morning mare.” Luna said. I giggled.
“Is there someone out there with you?” the voice said before it opened. I saw a very groggy Celestia wearing a tank top that says, ‘Mondays can go suck it!’ and some panties. She looked at Luna and then at me, her grogginess disappeared as she narrowed her eyes. “Oh.”
“H-hi.” I said nervously, knowing I could most likely beat her, but not wanting to fight. She slowly looked at Luna with the same look.
“Why is she here?” she asked.
“She needs our help.” Luna looked back at me and smiled. “She’s not here to hurt us.” Celestia looked at the two of us before thinking.
“Fine, come on in and we’ll talk.” she said moving out of the way.
I nodded, shuffling in, keeping Luna between me and Celestia. We sat down at the table as she stared at us. I looked at Luna for a moment before nodding. We told her everything that happened. After a finishing Celestia looked at the two of us.
“So, Sombra is possessed by a demon dragon?” she asked. I nodded.
“Yeah, I had my ninjas stall him so I could come here for help.” I told her. She stared at me for a moment.
“Hmm… stand up for a moment.” she said. I looked confused, but did so anyway, nervously standing. She snapped her fingers, making my clothes disappeared. I yelped as I covered myself.
“Sister!” Luna yelled.
“Hush, just checking something.” she said as she looked at me. “I don’t see any marks that would be used for listing in to us.”
I was too embarrassed to speak, one arm covering my breasts and the other covering my privates. Luna quickly made a robe and covered me with it. “T-thank you.” I said, still blushing. Celestia looked at the two of us for a moment.
“So, Princess Amore is trapped in crystal and Sombra is possessed so you came here for help.” she said. I nodded. “Normally, I would've not believe you with all you have done, like having your shadows go and steal a relic from three different museums.”
“I just told them to get the stuff, I didn’t know where it was coming from.” I said. Celestia pointed at me.
“You owe me some funds for them.” she said as she gestured at my body. “As it seems they have bonded with you.”
“Can we deal with this after the demon possessing and taking over the crystal empire?” I asked. Celestia stared at me.
“For once I agree with you.” she said.
“Uhh… you never talked to her before.” Luna pointed out.
“...Shut up.” Celestia said. I chuckled a little at this.
“So, the two of us have been working on some ideas that might work.” Luna said. The three of us went over the plans that both me and Luna came up with.
“Hmm, these are good plans but there’s one problem, if Sombra is possessed then he’s alone but I don’t believe that he would be, I was told that he was looking into Dark magic and some of it deals with mind control, we need another to help us.” Celestia said while shooting me a glare as she said Dark magic. I thought about it until I saw something that looked odd on her bed.

“What’s this?” I asked, pointing at it. Celestia looked over at me.
“I don’t know, found it in a field somewhere one day and thought it was cute.” she said. Luna snorted a bit.
“Yeah, and freaked out that some voice came out of nowhere and spoke to her.” Luna said. Celestia glared at her sister as I looked at the stuffy. Curious, I picked it up.
‘Yo, Names Laharl, Overlord of the NetherWorld blah blah blah, if you need me just summoned me, also if you have a kid give the token to him or her, kids seemed to love the prinny stuffy.’ a voice said. I looked back and saw that the other two didn’t hear the voice.
“Okay…” I mumbled, using the tiniest bits of magic on the toy.
“Well this is new.” a voice said. The three of us looked up to see a woman laying on Celestia’s bed.

The woman looked around and looked at me. “So, you’re the one who summoned me?”
“Yeah.” I said, nodding and blushing a tiny bit at her appearance.
“Who in Tartarus are you!?!” Celestia yelled as her body started to glow. The woman looked up at her and made a gesture which Celestia sat back down. “Hey!”
“Shut up, and get some clothes on, you have guests.” the woman said as she looked at me. “So, who are you, you have a name right?”
“Jade.” I said simply.
“Nice to meet you Jade, names Laharl but you already knew that.” she said as she looked around. “So, why did you summoned me, I was taking a really nice nap for a week.”
“A demon is possessing Sombra in the crystal Empire.” I told her. She blinked at me and frowned.
“Oh so you summoned me, who’s a demon, to fight the demon possessed Sombra, that’s kinda rude if you think about it.” Laharl said crossing her arms.
“Wait you’re a demon!” Both Luna and Celestia yelled at her.
“Yes, didn’t my eyes give that away?” she deadpan.
“You never said I couldn’t in your little message there.” I commented.
“I know, still kinda rude.” she said before looking back. “And no I’m not evil, kinda.”
“I’m not even going to question that.” I said, deadpan.
“Right, anyway why summoned me, doesn’t those two,” she points at the two sisters. “Go and turn Sombra into a smoke monster and what not?”
“I don’t know, I was just going to have them help me, but Celestia suggested more help, then I saw that toy, and decided I didn’t really want to look for someone.” I said. Laharl looked at the three of us and sighed.
“Well no point of going off and search for someone else, guess I’ll help.” she said as she looked at the two sisters who one was trying to pull the other out from the chair, her expression softened a bit as she looked at me. “So, what’s the plan.”
Hours later, at the Empire…
“Okay, everyone ready?” I asked. I stood by the two sisters and Laharl.
“I am, so the idea is I go off and make a lot of noise and the three of you go in and stop smoky or something like that?” Laharl asked.
“Yes.” I said, before summoning ten of my ninjas. “You can use these guys to help you do that.”
“Kid, do you know who you’re talking to, I’m Overlord Laharl I’m strong enough to level the place.” she said with a smirk before looking at the ninja. “But with the plan I guess a little help wouldn’t hurt.”
“Whatever, let’s go.” I said, rolling my eyes… even though no one could tell from them being pools of red.
“Alright, remember wait ten minutes after I make some noise then sneak in.” She said as she made a samurai helmet and a claymore appear. With that she headed out towards the Empire with the shadows following her.
Ten minutes later…
“Okay, let’s go.” I said after we heard some explosions. We sneaked into the empire and headed to the castle. On the way I we saw Laharl’s distraction, the place looked like something came charging in and destroying everything in it’s path.
“Maybe we should of told her not to destroy everything.” Luna commented.
“I’ll have my ninjas fix it later.” I said dismissively. We got closer to the castle before Celestia stopped me.
“Okay, you’ve been here the longest, is there a way in without us being seen.” she asked.
“This way.” I said, floating up to a seemingly normal part of the wall, putting my palm against it and sending a little energy in, it revealing a secret passage. “Nobody knows about this, I made it myself.”
“Nice.” Luna said. I blushed a bit at this as Luna headed into the passage. I was about to go in but Celestia stopped me.
“I know that this isn’t a good time but… do you have feelings for my sister?” she asked.
“Maybe, haven’t talked in person enough to tell.” I said honestly. Celestia narrowed her eyes at me before heading into the passageway.
We snuck through the passage, before ending up looking over the throne room. Luna looked over and then at me.
“I knew we were being watched all those years ago.” Luna said as she looked at me. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
“Your sister here kinda wanted me dead.” I deadpanned.
“Not dead, not anymore.” Celestia said. “I banned execution two years back, so I would of banished you to the badlands.” she said with a glare.
“And that’s better how? At least with the first you would’ve killed me quickly, out there I’d probably starve or dehydrate.” I said. Before She could say anything the doors open and Sombra came marching in with a guard running behind him.
“What’s taking so long! Can’t you stop one woman and a group of Shadowkhan from tearing up my empire!” he yelled at the guard.
“W-we are trying the best we can but the woman is knocking the soldiers away as if they were nothing but flies!” the guard said.
“Then the rest should do better.” Sombra said as he cuts off the guards leg. The guard screams out in pain as he fell onto the ground. The guard looked up as Sombra pointed the sword at him.
“P-please my king, I-I have a wife and kids… please no…” the guard whimpered. I saw Sombra falter a bit before turning away.
“Get out before I kill you.” he said. The guard dragged himself out of the room as Luna covered her mouth.
“That’s why.” Celestia whispered. “Shadow and Dark magic is nothing but evil, it should be killed before it can grow.”
“He’s being possessed, remember.” I reminded her. “None of this is him, it’s the demon… except for the mercy there, at least.”
“You say that, but what if there was no demon, he will get corrupted enough by the magic to change into this.” she said glaring at me. “Dark magic is evil, that's for certain.”
“Only when you bite off more than you can chew.” I said, growling, eyes flaring. The two of us glared at each other for a bit.
“Okay, look you two can stay here fighting but we have a job to do so can we do that so after you can go at eachothers throats later.” Luna said.
“Fine.” I said, turning away.
“Okay, on three… one… two…” before she could say three there was an explosion that sent us down from where we were. I looked up to see Sombra grinning down at us.
“Nice of you to, drop by.” he said.
“I’d have said ‘drop in’.” I commented. He stared at me before looking at the other two.
“Do you really think these two will help you? You must be joking.” he said as the crystal claymore formed in his hand.
“Well, I always did joke around.” I said, bringing out my crystal dagger. Sombra didn’t say anything as he raised his claymore up to slash at me.
“You know, I never showed you everything I can do.” I commented, dodging the slash and stabbing at his back. He grunted as he turned to slash at me. I jumped back a bit as I stared at him. I saw Luna stepping beside me with a spear.
“Don’t think you’re going to have all the fun.” she said with a smile.
“Of course not.” I said, grinning. The two of us charged at Sombra and started attacking at him. Sombra took some blows but still held strong as he swung at us. We dodged his attacks as we kept coming. He then did a sweeping kick, knocking us to the ground. I saw him standing over Luna with his sword pointing at her.
“Guess I have to kill the moon first.” he said. I glared, eyes glowing as I shot the beams out at him. They hit him and sent him into the wall, I ran over and helped Luna up.
“My hero.” she said with a giggle. I rolled my eyes at this, amused.
“Less flirting more fighting.” I said, turning to the possessed Sombra and holding a hand out, blasting a stream of fire. I heard him scream in pain as I stopped. He came burning as he looked at me.
“It seems, that I have to take what’s mine.” he said. He charged at me.
I quickly summoned my ninjas to block him, summoning a Sumo above him that fell on him as he was preoccupied. He cut the Sumo and used his magic to get closer to me… only to get a morningstar to the face.
Celestia slammed her weapon and shield to bash him away.
“Nice for you to join in.” Luna said with a frowned. “Don’t mind us, we’re just fighting an evil stallion who has a demon in his head.”
“Can we focus, please?” I asked, shooting more flames at him. The three of us fought Sombra for a bit as he tried to get the talismans from me but remembering that I had other powers then just lasers and fire I moved around him using super speed.
“Jade what demon possessed him?!?” Luna called out as she hit him in the back with her now broken spear.
“The one the talismans came from, Shendu!” I shouted, using my super speed to start hitting said demon possessing Sombra from everywhere at once. Sombra growled at me and got a lucky shot on me, sending me into that wall. I saw him raise his hands up, making the crystal floor rise up and incase the sisters in crystal.
“Now, it’s just us two.” he said before walking towards me. Then a fire ball hit him, sending him into the throne.
“Make that three of us.” Laharl said as she walked in. She looked at me with a grin. “Having fun~.”
“A little.” I said, charging my beams in my eyes and flames in my hands, before shooting both attacks at once.
“Okay kid, I think we have to banished the demon in his head, you know how?” she asked me.
“I think I remember reading something about needing to turn Shendu into a statue, but that was when he was free, not possessing someone.” I said.
“Okay… so how do we get him unpossessed?” She asked as she blocked Sombra attack. She pushed him back and punched him into a wall.
“No clue.” I admitted.
“Great…” she said as she dodged his attacks. “Okay, look I may know a way but it will mess with Sombras mind.”
“How so?” I asked.
“By ripping the demon out of his mind, I don’t know what will happen but I believe the chances are that he’ll be either a vegetable or forget everything.” she said. “If you have any other way, speak up now.”
“Actually, just remembered something, protect my body!” I said, laying down and putting a crystal barrier up around me. I used one of the talismans, sheep, feeling me leave myself, before turning and looking down at my body.
“So good so far.” I thought to myself, before turning to the possessed Sombra and shooting into him.
When I could see again, there was fire and dark magic crystals everywhere. “DADDY!” I shouted into the mindscape. “WHERE ARE YOU?”
“J-Jade?” I heard his voice from behind me. I turned and saw him chained to a large dark magic crystal.
“Daddy, there you are!” I said, floating over to him.
“W-what are you doing here?” he asked me. I saw him pretty beat up as one of his eyes was swollen and bruises covered his body.
“I came to get the demon out of you.” I told him, starting to work on the chains.
“And how are you going to do that, child?” a voice said. I turned to see the demon standing behind me.

“Laser eyes.” I said, shooting them at him and sending him back. He got back up and charged at me, hitting me into some more crystals. I growled, speeding forward and punching him back, sending him into the air where I made crystals appear around him, clenching my hand and making them stab into him. I heard Sombra grunted at this as I looked at him as I could hear a voice in my head.
‘Oi kid, whatever you’re doing it’s hurting him.” Laharl said. “If you’re going to do something make it fast.”
I nodded to myself, flying up and grabbing the weakened Shendu, before I pulled, leaving Sombras mind with him. Before Shendu could get any ideas, I threw him across the room, returning to my body and lowering the crystals. Laharl looked at me as I saw Sombra’s body fall onto the ground.
“Okay… what now?” she asked.
“If you can get Shendu, that’d be great, he’s right there.” I said, pointing to the spirit of said demon. She looked around before her eyes glowed.
“Great~ a ghost, I love fighting ghosts.” she said sarcastically. And jabbed her sword into the ground and cracked her fingers. “Okay, come here ghosty!” With that she charged at the demon.
“You have fun with that.” I said, before I turned to daddy, picking him up and floating off into the secret passage.
“J-Jade?” I heard him try to say.
“It’s okay now daddy, I got you.” I said, floating through the passage. I heard fighting going on behind me as I pushed forward. I also heard some thuds and something rolling coming behind me. I saw three balls rolling after me, I moved out of the way as they rolled past me.
“What… were those?” Sombra asked.
“I don’t know, daddy.” I said. We floated out and saw the three balls as one of them opened and Celestia stumbled out, then another opened and Luna stumbled out.
“I think I’m going to be sick.” Luna said. Celestia put her hand over her mouth as she looked a bit green.
“Why did you roll out in a ball?” I asked.
“Laharl, she put us and the statue of Amore into them and rolled us out, she’s still in there.” Luna said.
“Whatever.” I said, setting daddy down and going to the Amore statue. “Daddy, how do I make her normal again?”
“I...I don’t know… I didn’t do it… the demon did it.” he said.
“Oi.” I heard someone said behind me. I turned to see a bloodied Laharl, her clothes were ripped up and her bikini was being held up by a string. She was holding a bag that was moving around. “Did anyone call for a demon in a bag?”
“Not really, but thanks anyway.” I said. “I am going to find the deepest darkest corner of this planet and bury this thing there.”
“Well then, have fun.” she said tossing the bag to me. She then went and sat down by a tree that was nearby. “I’m going to take a nap.”
“How do I de-summon you?” I asked.
“Something about saying ‘Your contract is finished’ or something, but I’m seeing myself out.” with that she disappeared.
“That was strange… whatever, daddy where are your books on dark magic? I need to find a way to free her.” I said, idly handing the bag to a shadow to hide somewhere.
“I don’t think I’ll get the chance.” he said as he looked at Celestia as she stood in front of him.
“Sombra, as Royal princess of all Equestria I have to put you under arrest for everything you have done.” she said.
“Umm… sister, you know that most of everything he did was being possessed by a demon.” Luna said.
“That’s true and normally I don’t have any right to do this but since Amore is a statue she can’t say anything and his charges are that of practise of dark magic.” she said.
“You know, I would feel betrayed here, but I was expecting this… shadows, send them away, please.” I said, the two sisters turning to see thousands of the various shadow ninja surrounding them.
“Wait.” Sombra said. He stood up and walk over to them. “I’ll go.”
“Why?” I asked, tilting my head.
“Jade, you’ve done so much for saving me, for that I’m grateful but… I knew this was coming if I had been found out. I wouldn’t forgive myself if you help me escaped.” he kneels down and looked at me. “As much as Amore teases me about it, you were like a daughter to me.” he then gave me a hug.
“... I refuse.” I said simply, eyes glowing. “I refuse to let you be taken away from me.”
“Sister, please you can’t do this!” Luna yelled at Celestia.
“It can’t be helped, Jade Sombra is coming with me to Canterlot to be put in prison… but he’ll be there to research a way to turn Amore back to normal, after that she can cast judgement on him.” Celestia said.
“Jade… allow me to atone for my sins.” Sombra said.
“What sins? The demon did this and I will not allow this.” I growled, eyes glowing a darker red.
“But I allowed the demon in, I was foolish…”
“You were tricked, it’s what demons do, now enough.” I said, turning to the two princesses.
“Shadows, escort them out of here.” I growled, grabbing my daddy and floating back inside. I heard a sigh from him.
“Jade… I’m sorry.” he said as he rubbed my back. I felt my body lock up by a spell. I looked at him as he stepped away as Celestia stood by him.
“WAIT!” Luna yelled as she charged at them. Before she could get them they disappeared and she slammed into the wall. “No…”
I was shaking now, emotions whirling in my mind. Luna stood up and looked around.
“She can’t do this, they can’t do this.” Luna said as she walked over to me. “I-I’m sorry Jade…”
I suddenly broke free of the spell, growling, fury in my red eyes as they glowed with power. “Shadows… attack Equestria, bring him back.” I growled, the thousands quickly obeying and charging.
When we were alone I turned to Luna as she was in front of me with tears in her eyes. I was too mad to really care, simply floating into the palace and towards the throne, sitting in it. Luna walked in and looked at me.
“I'm sorry Jade for this, if I was faster…” she looked off to the side. “ What are you going to do with me?”
“Nothing, it’s not you that I am mad at, it is your sister.” I said, before pointing a hand out to the side, magic glowing as a second, smaller throne appeared. “Take a seat.”
She nodded as she sat down beside me. I looked at the passageway and had the statue float into the room. I summoned one of my ninjas. “Go into my fathers study, bring me all of his dark magic books, I need to research.” I ordered it. It nodded and went off.
“Jade… I want to help, is there anything I can do?” Luna asked.
“Make sure your sister doesn’t interfere.” I said simply, grabbing the books in a telekinetic hold when they got to us, having them float around me as I started reading one. She nodded before looking like she was about to say something but stopping and turned away.
“What is it?” I asked, still reading the book.
“... I was… wondering… you said we were going to talk about… what we talked about this morning but… this is a bad time.” she said.
“Bad time, yes.” I said, switching the book I was reading for another. She nodded sadly as she went back to what she was doing.
