Chapter 1 - Fair Who?
The city of dreams they say. Manehattan,  And I live in the heart of it! Who am I? oh how rude of me, I am FairView and this, this is my story
So it started when I did, my birth many many moons ago, I lived  in Cloudsdale with my parents and lived a normal life. Well at least as normal as it can get. Id wake up go to school come back home and repeat, I kept silent for the most part and I was happy how everything was going. My mum was caring, her love was strong and she would always make sure I was happy but she never seemed … right.
One day we both went off to enjoy the sun soaked city and I couldn’t help but ask “mummy, wheres daddy”, she winced and sighed a heavy sigh and just said “his on holiday for a long vacation”. I smiled and continued on my way, I was only five and had never seen him but I hoped hed comeback from holiday.
It was my 14th birthday, id got my mum and some close friends around, Amber Sun, Cresden Flight and Bright. We were having the pest party ever! Music, Lights, Dancing and gifts. My friends went home and that seemed to be that. Then the night came, A burning pain hit my jaw and I screamed in agony, my eyes changing from their dazzling yellow to a glowing, crimson red. Then the pain stoped just as suddenly as it had started my mum burst into the room “Sweetie are you o ……” She stopped shaking like a leaf. “Mum?” she just stood there, not saying a word as she pointed her hoof to a mirror.
The next day she sat with me in the livingroom, we exchanged glances. “I think its time you knew” she paused “Your father was the same. He was the King of an entire city named FairView. We named you after it.” I looks at her, curiosity burning through me “ok but what happened to him? Why arnt we at the city? Wh-“
“The city was destroyed FairView, and your dad” she sighs “went with it”. A long pause follows a tear rolling down her face “the Vamponies started attacking Equsetria, he tried to stop them but it was too late, so he destroyed the city, with no where to hide the Vamponies eventually died.”
I look at here hopefully “where was the city?”
“Manehattan, north of the statue. Go there, be safe and do what you must.” I turn giving her a hug “and olease, comeback” and with that I packed my bags and flew north.
