Equestria Girls In Disguise: Ghosts Of Our Past
Burnin Love
Previous ChapterWe now return to the Transformers...
One Week Later...
After Wasp and Fluttershy defeated Pseudo, the rest of the Autobots made their jump over to the Everfree Forest to help rescue their Autobot allies who were stuck in the cave. All of them were still alive, but some were heavily wounded from being crushed under piles of rocks. However they recovered and they were back to their usual selves again.
Bumblebee in particular was quite happy to see Wasp was welcomed into the Autobots and he heard about how Wasp and Fluttershy worked as one to defeat Pseudo but was displeased to hear that he had escaped. But the Decepticon's escape didn't take his happiness of the situation away. He was glad to hear Wasp was now welcomed among the Autobots, and they were planning on throwing a huge celebration for Wasp's welcome to their team.
Everyone at the Autobot base was gathered together, all for the ceremony. Some of them were pleased, but others were not. Two bots in particular.
"Why are they bringing in a Decepticon fugitive in to the base? This isn't right," Tracks huffed.
"How can we even believe he's one of us after what he did to Lieutenant Bumblebee?" Strongarm asked.
Both of their remarks were stopped to see Hound giving glares to the two young recruits.
"You two need to cool your circuits, Wasp is innocent and he just proved it to all of us. Now I suggest you two cool off if you've got nothing nice to say to our new addition to Team Prime," Hound said.
Several Autobots were on the left and right forming crowds, while in the middle was Bumblebee, Wasp, and Fluttershy who had taken knees down for the ceremony/celebration. And in the front was Optimus Prime, and on his sides were Ratchet, Jazz, Wheeljack, and Ironhide. Right in front of the Autobots were the rest of Sunset's friends and the Shadowbolt girls who all stood straight and well dressed for the occasion.
A fanfare of horns played off the sides, and the ceremony began.
Optimus Prime cleared his throat, and began speaking.
"Fellow Autobots, Guardians and humans. We are gathered today to honor three of our warriors for their courage and strength for their performances today. As of now, the spying charges on Wasp are no more. While he may not be welcome on Cybertron, he is welcome among us here on Earth, as a part of Team Prime. And I am proud of the courage that he has displayed with Fluttershy... and Bumblebee."
Wasp simply gave a smile and he was met with smiles from Fluttershy and Bumblebee as well.
Ratchet came walking towards Fluttershy and Bumblebee, each with small medals in his hands.
"Congratulations, fellow Autobots," Ratchet said with a smile. He hung a medal around Bumblebee's neck, and he strung one onto Fluttershy as well. Both of them looked towards the medals with smiles, and gave they Ratchet a nod with thankfulness. Once Ratchet was done, he stepped back to stand with the other leading Autobots.
"Ironhide?" Optimus asked.
Ironhide nodded and walked off to the side. Once he came back, he was seen holding a branding iron, with the shape of the iron in the form of an Autobot logo. The iron itself was steaming hot, and Wasp gulped at the sight of the burning tool.
"Don't worry kid, this only hurts for a few moments," Ironhide said, "All of us had to go through with this when we signed up for the war."
Wasp felt himself shaking. That thing was going to burn his plating. But he felt a small hand grab his. He turned his head and saw Fluttershy pat his with a warm smile. She was gonna be there to calm him down.
"Don't worry Wasp, its okay. I know this isn't the best method of getting an Autobot symbol, but unfortunately its the only method that any of us have gotten it," Bumblebee said, "You'll be fine, besides, the pain only lasts for about 10 seconds and then its gone."
Wasp gulped again and gave a small nod.
Ironhide slowly moved down with the branding iron and pointed it to his chest. With one quick move, he slammed the iron onto his green chest which was steaming hot. Wasp let out a big of a groan from the pain as it burned his chest.
"Agh... Wasp think Autobots need better plan for insignia implant..." Wasp winced.
A few Autobots looked at each other giving agreeing nods.
"Why do we even have this method to begin with?" Strongarm interrupted.
Optimus spoke up, "Our insignias come with tracking mechanisms so if any of us goes missing we can find each other. As a safety precaution."
Wasp gave a nod, and touched a part of his chest that was still steaming. It was too hot for his small fingers which made him wince some more.
"Wasp, I hereby welcome you as a member of Team Prime, and secondary guardian to Fluttershy. Welcome, fellow Autobot. Til All Are One!"
Wasp gave a smirk and nod, "Til All Are One!" Wasp cheered as he raised a fist.
Everyone at the base gave a big round of applause and gave a few cheers. Wasp looked at the sights of the Autobots giving admiration and cheer around him. He was here, he had finally made it with the Autobots, he was going to help serve the Autobot cause, and help win the war for Cybertron. No more was he to suffer on Cybertron held in jail for a crime he never committed. He was free, he was here.... he was home.
"Lets Party!" Pinkie called.

As time went on, Wasp had been slowly adjusting to his new life on Earth with Bumblebee and the other Autobots. They taught him bits of Earth's history, and he learned more about their status with the war so far. And as another special addition, Wasp obtained an Earth-based vehicle mode to help him better blend with the code of the Autobots on Earth, their code being 'robots in disguise'.
Almost everywhere that the Autobots and the girls could see, Wasp was happy for most of the time. He was really enjoying his new life on Earth far from Cybertron. And he didn't stop there, he stayed and he hung out with the girls some more and he got to know them some more.
Wasp helped Ironhide and Applejack do some applebucking on the apple farm, Wasp accepted Rarity and Knockout's help on a little bit of new pain for his vehicle form to look 'fabulous', and Wasp even joined Rainbow Dash and Sideswipe in racing practice to work on speed. But most of the time, Wasp spent his time staying at Fluttershy's with Bumblebee. The three of them had nothing but fun when they hung out together.
Wasp lent a hand around the house whenever Fluttershy was out. He helped take care of the animals that were over at her place, he made lunch for her to take to at school, and he even took shifts to take her too and out of school. But Wasp's curiosity about Earth struck him plenty of times.
During a session when he was doing Fluttershy's laundry, his curiousity enticed him when he was looking at Fluttershy's clothes. Very strange wear that the humans wore. Wasp's eyes examined a bra in his hand, and squinted his eyes when he looked.
"Eh, not Wasp's size," Wasp shrugged as he chucked it into the washing machine.
But for most of the time Wasp was able to focus and relax while he was with his new friends. Even during times when things should have stressed him he still calmed down.
During a working shift, he ended up taking a job doing grocery shopping for Fluttershy, and he ended up with a few stares from people. The sight of an Autobot doing grocery shopping was quite strange. But the strangeness of it went away when he readied for action to stop a gunman from trying to steal cash out of the register.
--
Later that night, Wasp was seen sipping oil from a drinking can and he stood next to Fluttershy and Bumblebee as the three of them stared off into the night sky, both at peace with one another. After everything that they had gone through, it felt good to be calming down for now.
"Its great to have you back buddy," Bumblebee said as he patted Wasp's shoulder.
Wasp gave a smile, "Wasp glad to be back with Bumblebot, and Autobots. But Wasp not sure about other Autobots..."
Fluttershy titled her head, "You mean Strongarm and Tracks?"
Wasp nodded, "Wasp think Trackbot and Strongbot hate Wasp."
"They don't hate you. They just need to take some time to know you personally. They'll warm up to you, I know it. They warmed up to us when we first met them. I know they will to you."
Wasp wasn't too sure. From what he was told about the two newbies, it didn't sound like they were too friendly. But he was still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
But as Wasp stared up into the sky, something else caught his mind.
"But one thing still makes Wasp confused..." Wasp said, scratching his head. "What was big mess in cave?"
Bumblebee gave Wasp a strange look, "What do you mean?"
"While Wasp looked in cave, Wasp see strange dead Cybertronians. But Wasp don't know from what though... now Wasp confused."
Bumblebee wasn't too sure, but from Wasp's explanation and from Fluttershy said about it, it didn't sound too good. But they could only hope that whatever made it before was long gone...
Back in Canterlot City, in another part of town, in one of the abandoned parts of the dark street, one lone Decepticon walked in the darkness, hidden in the alleyways. He had been trying to find his way to the rest of those he called his allies, but he could barely find nor get a signal.
"Hm... where are they? I can't be walking out in these stupid organic streets all night..."
But as the Decepticon walked, he didn't focus on the sky above. For something above was watching him. From one of the building tops, one lone figure stood on the edge as he stared at the Decepticon walking in the street.
From the figure's eyes, everything was closed out, but the only objects that stood out were objects that were highlighted in bright blue. And all that the figure was locking onto, was the Cybertronian which was highlighted in blue. The figure made a swoop off the building and began soaring down at the Decepticon figure.
As if the swoop didn't catch his attention, he turned and froze when he heard another sound coming from the figure. An earpiercing sonic scream came right at his face, catching him in a frozen locked form. Then once he was frozen, the figure grabbed the Decepticon and swooped off into the night sky letting out another screech.
No one even noticed the strange figure taking the Decepticon away taking him off into the night sky...
The End
Author's Note
Apologies, this isn't the best way to end this, but at this point I'm just done. Okay? I just want to work on my other projects, I've got other things I want to do.
So this was Ghosts of Our Past. My final verdict... 5 out of 10. Rushed, too predictable, barely anything interesting happens. Outside of Wasp. I'm sorry, I'm just not feeling good about this one than what I did for Gallows of CHS. If you've got final verdicts, feel free to make your own, but this one just wasn't good.
