After Onyx had made his introductions he found himself wandering to the nearest pub 'in the middle of town' for some Apple Acre's Ale where he found a peculiar being as a guard, the guard looked human but also acted like he was feral and not from any sort of city or area you'd find a human.

It was like he was born and raised in the wild by the way he talked and acted towards others but he also seemed to have an unusually refined look to him that I'd never thought to see him have at the sight of it he was like two people balancing out each counterpart of himself and that made made me curious about him and his actions.

I walked up to the bar and sat next to the guard and asked "what is you name if I may so imply?" Von looked at me in bewildermentand answered "my name is Von Steel Soul what is your name?" I looked at Von and said "ooh, it seems I forgot my manners and hadn't introduced my self my name is Onyx Bolt I am new in town and well you seemed to be something I had not seen, you seem like a human and a wild animal intertwined in the same body and I seemed a bit confused about the way you acted am I right or wrong ?"

Von answered "well you are right and wrong , I am a wolf that was turned human by a human that had magical capabilities his name was Blake Steel Soul and he died the day I became human and gained magical capabilities as well as took his middle and last name "Steel Soul" if I may say I don't know much about him but I know everything about him at the same time so you are right on both occasions in your question Onyx Bolt ."

I looked at him and said "just call me Onyx, and what are you joking because I was not expecting to be right on this occasion I have never thought about it that way but now that I think of it your silver eye does look like it comes from a wolf." Von looked at me and replied"this is my original eye and the blue eye was his we mixed consciousness and body so we are one in the same."

I looked to him and said "ok" I looked away and to a waitress and said "can I get an Apple Acres Ale please" and I looked back to Von who seemed to be sad about something and asked "yo Von what is wrong? you seem a bit down" Von replied " just remembering earth, my home and my sister who is probably dead since we had separated and I just cant get those memories and/or night mares out of my head since I became human I've had those dreams every night and they are wavering on my consciousness and I really think it is messing with my job as a guard for Princess Celestia."

I looked at him and replied"you probably should go see Princess Luna and see what she can do for you she had told me that she could do some sort of therapy on you and your night mares in order for you to get past them and that thought and conquer it for the rest of the time you have these night mares."

I looked to Von after I drank my drink and said "well looks like I got to go find where I'm gonna be staying at because I have a long week ahead of me and well I don't need to be drunk to find a job and all that sort." after I said that the voice in my head started talking and said "hey I think it would be good for you to join the guards because of your magic and the books that contain magical spells that could help you train yourself in the magical arts!" as I stood there I went back to Von and said "do the guards have any open positions for me to fill in?"

Von looked at me and said "yeah there is one that we need to fill and that is to keep an eye on Ponyville and protect Princess Twilight discreetly, I was here looking to recruit someone I guess you just made my day and don't worry I will help you fill out the work for your new job!" I looked at him in awe and said " thanks man you are a life saver I needed to find a job and to make sure I will fit in would you think it wisely to allow me to go around doing other jobs so I can better observe discreetly around Ponyville and get a little extra bits here and there?"

Von looked at me and said "Yeah I guess so couldn't go wrong to have a bit more of a convincing cover and also I will come next week with your new armor but don't use it unless you really need to it bonds with you in a way you can't imagine and you wont be able to take it off you body without a spell from one of us."

I also looked at Von and said " would it also be alright if I were to date and all of that stuff?" Von looked at me and said "yeah that would be ok just make sure you don't lie to them because you'd regret it but also make sure they don't blow your cover! also keep your distance from Pinky Pie I swear she would find you out some how it is like she is and alien and can read minds and all of that freaky stuff hell she can jump on clouds and stand on nothing up side down and it is freaky!"

I looked at him in confusion and said "ok that would be a bit much and ok I wouldn't go out with her anyway it isn't her I got a crush on it is Spit Fire and I don't think she would sell me out!" Von looks at me and gives out a hearty 'Guffaw' and says "man are you in for it, I think if you can stand her than you'd have one of the best mates around here and woo wee she would give it to you like no pony else!" I look at him in confusion and surprise at what he said and said "well what makes you say that?"

Von said "because she is a Wander bolt, that is what makes me say that, I mean she has the most heard rumor among the guards and she is also one crazy pony once you get to know her!" as he finally stops kicking and swaying on his chair he says "and I know her pretty well we are drinking buds! but nothing else."

I looked at him in surprise and stated "wow looks like you two are close and what do you think about her?" Von looked at me in surprise "well one part of me says I like her intimately and the other says that she is annoying but I don't know what side it is that is me thinking these thoughts so if you could please keep this on the down low if you start dating her please?" I looked at Von and just nodded sincerely and he gave me a look that said "thanks I mean it man!" I asked him 'hey wanna go hang out at my place? Also I really don't know where I live in this town!" Von looked at me and asked what is the address of where you live and I said "147 Square Central" he looked at me in surprise and said "Wow that is the house next to mine and and DJ Pon3's house.

I looked at him in confusion and said "DJ Pon3 who is that?" Von looked at me and said "well shocker here looks like Vinyl has not seen the newcomer into town and that means she must be in her house practicing for some sort of party or event with Octavia and when that happens everything goes wild in town so be on the ready for them to show up in your house and blare speakers ok?" I looked at him and said "okay... guess I will be on my best defense for that or I'll just be ready, so we going?" Von answered "hell yes, but I'll give you a fair warning whenever you see Octavia please don't get mad at her she kinda acts like a stiff but she is a very warm hearted mare on the inside."

I answer him back and say "alright I'll keep that in mind but I can't keep any promises that I wont be able to control my actions if she makes me mad but I won't dare hurt her in any way."Von looked at me and said "alright I'll keep you to that word and if you break you'll pay dearly in my book, I am feral after all."
