OnyxBolts past Two years ago today in Onyx Bolts past, before he ever knew anything about magic or Equestria he one day had a sudden urge to go out one day and set up for a camping trip with his family, he had done this because they all needed time away from home and he decided that camping would be the best solution though no one knew of it yet. While he was setting up camp he felt like something was watching him so he decided to ignore it, but it kept edging at the back of his mind so he said something so if anyone could hear him they'd answer "is anyone there if so please say something" no answer at first, but he did see a shadow coming closer it looked to Onyx as though it was injured as the shadow had came into view and he was correct, the man was injured and he went over to the man to help the what looked like a hunter. The hunter (who was bleeding out due to severe injuries) told onyx "my friend...please....save.....him" he said as he was bleeding out and Onyx had burst back to his truck to where his phone was to call "911" for an ambulance to take this guy to the E.M.R and call police to help find his most likely dead friend in the woods. The police had shown up later (after the ambulance had left with the severely injured man) to help him find this guy's friend so they got all of the police task force dogs to help him, after a while of searching the forest one of the police officers said "well turns out that there was no sign of his friend or anything dangerous that may have attacked him." Onyx said "there is no way that something that could do that could just disappear!" little did he know that there was a secret temple to which he stood on top of. Onyx decided to take off on his own and find that man's friend who might be in worse condition than he had been in or dead when he had started to sprint he had ran for two minutes and fell down what seemed like a trap door and not only that he found that mans friend but with some strange creature doing some kind of blood ritual or sacrifice Onyx could not believe his eyes at what he saw. Onyx heard a voice one that he had never herd before in his head the voice said "kill the him not the creature but the man it should stop the ritual and we should be safe for a while." Onyx thought to himself "why is this happening to me who are you?" the voice answered in an ominous tone "all in due time Onyx" as the voice faded away slowly but surely. Onyx seemed to have no idea on how he'd accomplish that, but then realized that a rifle was setting right next to him he had shot the rifle and it had killed the man instantly but as the creature tried to lunge at him it disappeared into a black haze. Onyx asks the voice in his head "What the fuck was that creature" the voice replies in a tone that makes the last seem less ominous "it was a creature known as a {Demon}something that should not be in this world or in the counterpart opposite of this universe as it says so quaintly thought if you want the power to stop one permanently I'm afraid you must leave this universe and go to the next before it comes after you. Because of your magic that I'm keeping under control and as for you all you need to do is go to your parents room and find a book that they hid under their bed under the first tile to the far right of their room and I suggest you do it quickly now that the {demon}knows you are in this universe and dimension it will be coming after you and not in a small pack I'm talking about a horde of them that will relentlessly chase you until they have a power to take over that other dimension know as Equestria where your power will grow stronger not in just strength but in magic and stamina." "But why should I leave my world and go there to train I think I can train in secrecy on Earth to hone my powers just fine here thank you!" the voice answers back in a more over powering voice and says "No! you listen here and listen now I am not leaving you here to die I am fulfilling my promise to your ancestors that had this power before you and you cant stop me I will take over your body if I have to! We do this the easy way or the hard way!" "I think I will go the easy way because of the way you worded that and now I think I can trust you!"the voice answers back "thank you I can understand that you are under a lot of stress and confused by all of what I'm telling you not only that but you have never even known about your history because your father had never told you of your lineage because he thought it was all rubbish." Onyx answered "well lets call it even we had been going through a lot today and I had never suspected this to happen!" while we escape I go to the house and leave a note for my family and so after that I go to the old house that my family owns on the woods to where the power to open the portal to the other world is and so I can train and finally take my place back in this world nut while I'm there I might as well make myself useful to the natives and earn some cash while I'm training.as I make this plan I realize that I'm standing right at my trucks door and I am now subconsciously ready to do what I noted in my mind, the voice told me "yeah I think that is a good idea so that no one goes looking looking for you anywhere your family owns and it leaves you on the down-low so you can live life peacefully before you have to go to the next and come back to save your world from complete annihilation." //-------------------------------------------------------// A new life in Equestria //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note To all readers this is a big switch I am changing the story perspective from 3rd person to 1st person this is so you guys can get past the past tense of his past don't get me wrong there are times the past will pop up again so be prepared for it to pop up at random in the A new life in Equestria Once I had gotten to Equestria it had taken me several moments to process what the voice in my head said because to me it all seemed fake and I could not believe any of it was true and once I had gotten up from the ground I was greeted by and ethereal alicorn I was too lost in thought and fear that I didn't notice that she was talking to me once she had realized that she had snapped me out of that state. The alicorn that had greeted me picked me up with her magic and sat me down on a bench that was near by and re introduced herself she said " hit there my name is princess Luna what shall I call you if I may ask?" I replied "you may call me Onyx Bolt or just Onyx either way is fine"as I said so bluntly princess Luna looked at me in concern and asked "how did you get here and why did you come here?" I gave her my reply it took several minutes to explain the situation I was in but I had left out the parts about the voice in my head and that I had magical capabilities. Princess Luna gave me a concerned look and one that I had expected from one who had no idea of how it is to leave every thing you once knew and loved behind to save yourself and the others you care so much about behind. Luna shook that look off her face and replaced it with a serous look on her face and resumed her questioning of me and I had complied. Luna asks me "okay but if you had a way to get here were you able to close it or did it close all on its own" I replied "it looks like it only had enough strength to allow transport of one person alone and no more so I'd say it closed about midway through because the warp dissipated as I was coming through." Luna looks at me in relief and says "so ok now that this is done we should probably take you to the castle in Canterlot and introduce you to Celestia and find a place for you to live and everything to help you and allow you to get on your feet from now on." I just nod my head to signal that I agree. Once we arrived at the palace and introduced to Celestia or Celest as I now have begun to call her I begin to understand what happened and that I wasn't the only human in Equestria and though I'm not the only human I may be the only one that has the capability to use magic and kill all the demons on earth where I whence came. Once I was finished with the meeting and lectures of princess Luna and Celestia I was asked by both of them where I wanted to live they gave me a list of cities and villages that had residences that needed to be filled I had chosen a little town known as Ponyville and they had asked what kind of skills I had back on earth I had explained what kind of things I did for my job and they gave me a coy expression that I could understand once I had explained in more detail they decided to have me work on almost everything that involved metals and physical labor because being a welder and an electrician with the add on of having a great personal skill of making furniture and allowing me to use these skills to an extensive use kept me busy. ____________________________________________ Once I arrived in Ponyville I had an overly overjoyed pony named Pinky-Pie just come out of nowhere scaring the living hell out of me and when I had just realized it she also seemed to defy the laws of well everything and that made me flip the hell out but other that that there was nothing else seemed weird other than her tail seemed to twitch and I looked in confusion as she put on an hat with and umbrella on it and I had seen something just fly across town it seemed like a green and purple lizard just way too oversized so I was looking in confusion as I had seen it was heading towards a random pony and I before I could even think about it but my body had just moved on its own and just shoved the pony out of the way and I was now thinking "how am I going to explain what just happened because I just pushed her and what ever flew this way seemed to be gone like it was never there!!" Once I had finished my thought a Purple alicorn had appeared out of thin air and a purple smoke had appeared this time once the smoke dissipated I saw the lizard that was flying towards the pony that I had shoved out of the way as the lizard nearly hit me. The lizard and 'purple alicorn with a purple stripe' were looking at me in a in awed expression once she had cleared her throat and straitened her face in order to say "Hi there my name is Twilight and this is my faithful servant/companion Spike and if you are wandering he is a dragon I am sorry he had almost hit you, he had been blasted out of the library across town due to one of my science experiments gone wrong and if I may ask who are you?" I looked at her and the other two and replied "my name is Onyx Bolt I am a newcomer to this land known as Equestria and I had been chased out of my world by demons from your world that were expelled due to magic." once all of that was explained they all began to look at me with a coy expression on their faces. Princess Twilight had been able to get a grip on that and process what I said and began to understand what was going on, but the other two who are still confused just began to get all that information and suppress it to the back of their minds for the time being and set their minds back to functional state and began to ask me questions. But as they had started to ask questions I had just came to realization that I had left the pony I had just pushed out of the way and not helped her up so I had walked up to her and apologized and helped her back onto her hooves she had introduced her self but I toned it out when I was thinking "damn she has a fit body and tone muscles! and she looks cute I wander if she is seeing some-one?" she had snapped me out of my thought and re introduced herself "Hi my name is Spit Fire and no need to introduce yourself to me I had overheard you talking to the others and may I just say, wow you had it hard if you need anyone to talk to just give me a holler I will be staying in town for a while but I usually come here often because one of my friends lives here but just say something if you want to talk to me!" after she said that she flew off but before she flew off I had an odd feel hit me my body had felt warm and I couldn't stop thinking of her for the rest of the day!! As I went to the place I'm staying at I had an odd feeling that I was being watched by a being that knew more about me than I did so I followed my gut feeling to the the source that was watching me and to find out it was a god of chaos and he was a mix of all of the species in Equestria but he was a bit well how should I put 'not right in the mind' when he spoke to me he spoke of the truth of the situation I was in but not only that he some how knew I had an ancient magic that comes down my blood line and so I asked "how come you know I have magic in my blood line and how do you know of my predicament on Earth and here but most of all how do you know of the voice in my head!'he answers in a some what unknown voice tone to me and says "well my dear boy I know everything that goes on in all of the other worlds and universes mostly the chaos in those worlds." After I spoke to the god of chaos Discord I wanted to wander the town to find some where I could think and calm my nerves from what Discord had told me and spoke to me over I wanted to also find something to drink the voice in my head told me "if you need a drink you should look for a place near the center of town." //-------------------------------------------------------// ✡The introduction to non-human and human wolf named Von✡ //-------------------------------------------------------// ✡The introduction to non-human and human wolf named Von✡ After Onyx had made his introductions he found himself wandering to the nearest pub 'in the middle of town' for some Apple Acre's Ale where he found a peculiar being as a guard, the guard looked human but also acted like he was feral and not from any sort of city or area you'd find a human. It was like he was born and raised in the wild by the way he talked and acted towards others but he also seemed to have an unusually refined look to him that I'd never thought to see him have at the sight of it he was like two people balancing out each counterpart of himself and that made made me curious about him and his actions. I walked up to the bar and sat next to the guard and asked "what is you name if I may so imply?" Von looked at me in bewildermentand answered "my name is Von Steel Soul what is your name?" I looked at Von and said "ooh, it seems I forgot my manners and hadn't introduced my self my name is Onyx Bolt I am new in town and well you seemed to be something I had not seen, you seem like a human and a wild animal intertwined in the same body and I seemed a bit confused about the way you acted am I right or wrong ?" Von answered "well you are right and wrong , I am a wolf that was turned human by a human that had magical capabilities his name was Blake Steel Soul and he died the day I became human and gained magical capabilities as well as took his middle and last name "Steel Soul" if I may say I don't know much about him but I know everything about him at the same time so you are right on both occasions in your question Onyx Bolt ." I looked at him and said "just call me Onyx, and what are you joking because I was not expecting to be right on this occasion I have never thought about it that way but now that I think of it your silver eye does look like it comes from a wolf." Von looked at me and replied"this is my original eye and the blue eye was his we mixed consciousness and body so we are one in the same." I looked to him and said "ok" I looked away and to a waitress and said "can I get an Apple Acres Ale please" and I looked back to Von who seemed to be sad about something and asked "yo Von what is wrong? you seem a bit down" Von replied " just remembering earth, my home and my sister who is probably dead since we had separated and I just cant get those memories and/or night mares out of my head since I became human I've had those dreams every night and they are wavering on my consciousness and I really think it is messing with my job as a guard for Princess Celestia." I looked at him and replied"you probably should go see Princess Luna and see what she can do for you she had told me that she could do some sort of therapy on you and your night mares in order for you to get past them and that thought and conquer it for the rest of the time you have these night mares." I looked to Von after I drank my drink and said "well looks like I got to go find where I'm gonna be staying at because I have a long week ahead of me and well I don't need to be drunk to find a job and all that sort." after I said that the voice in my head started talking and said "hey I think it would be good for you to join the guards because of your magic and the books that contain magical spells that could help you train yourself in the magical arts!" as I stood there I went back to Von and said "do the guards have any open positions for me to fill in?" Von looked at me and said "yeah there is one that we need to fill and that is to keep an eye on Ponyville and protect Princess Twilight discreetly, I was here looking to recruit someone I guess you just made my day and don't worry I will help you fill out the work for your new job!" I looked at him in awe and said " thanks man you are a life saver I needed to find a job and to make sure I will fit in would you think it wisely to allow me to go around doing other jobs so I can better observe discreetly around Ponyville and get a little extra bits here and there?" Von looked at me and said "Yeah I guess so couldn't go wrong to have a bit more of a convincing cover and also I will come next week with your new armor but don't use it unless you really need to it bonds with you in a way you can't imagine and you wont be able to take it off you body without a spell from one of us." I also looked at Von and said " would it also be alright if I were to date and all of that stuff?" Von looked at me and said "yeah that would be ok just make sure you don't lie to them because you'd regret it but also make sure they don't blow your cover! also keep your distance from Pinky Pie I swear she would find you out some how it is like she is and alien and can read minds and all of that freaky stuff hell she can jump on clouds and stand on nothing up side down and it is freaky!" I looked at him in confusion and said "ok that would be a bit much and ok I wouldn't go out with her anyway it isn't her I got a crush on it is Spit Fire and I don't think she would sell me out!" Von looks at me and gives out a hearty 'Guffaw' and says "man are you in for it, I think if you can stand her than you'd have one of the best mates around here and woo wee she would give it to you like no pony else!" I look at him in confusion and surprise at what he said and said "well what makes you say that?" Von said "because she is a Wander bolt, that is what makes me say that, I mean she has the most heard rumor among the guards and she is also one crazy pony once you get to know her!" as he finally stops kicking and swaying on his chair he says "and I know her pretty well we are drinking buds! but nothing else." I looked at him in surprise and stated "wow looks like you two are close and what do you think about her?" Von looked at me in surprise "well one part of me says I like her intimately and the other says that she is annoying but I don't know what side it is that is me thinking these thoughts so if you could please keep this on the down low if you start dating her please?" I looked at Von and just nodded sincerely and he gave me a look that said "thanks I mean it man!" I asked him 'hey wanna go hang out at my place? Also I really don't know where I live in this town!" Von looked at me and asked what is the address of where you live and I said "147 Square Central" he looked at me in surprise and said "Wow that is the house next to mine and and DJ Pon3's house. I looked at him in confusion and said "DJ Pon3 who is that?" Von looked at me and said "well shocker here looks like Vinyl has not seen the newcomer into town and that means she must be in her house practicing for some sort of party or event with Octavia and when that happens everything goes wild in town so be on the ready for them to show up in your house and blare speakers ok?" I looked at him and said "okay... guess I will be on my best defense for that or I'll just be ready, so we going?" Von answered "hell yes, but I'll give you a fair warning whenever you see Octavia please don't get mad at her she kinda acts like a stiff but she is a very warm hearted mare on the inside." I answer him back and say "alright I'll keep that in mind but I can't keep any promises that I wont be able to control my actions if she makes me mad but I won't dare hurt her in any way."Von looked at me and said "alright I'll keep you to that word and if you break you'll pay dearly in my book, I am feral after all." I had gotten ready for the job I had just mentioned I have to go and sign the papers with Von and as we are heading to sign the papers Von asks me "hey are you sure you want to be a guard?" I replied "yes I'm quite sure I want to be a guard I am one of the last human magic users that was born on Earth.I'm sure I have a place in your regime and could you keep the part of me being able to use magic on the down low please I will tell Spit Fire you and Twilight when I see fit I will tell the other two but if you could could you please teach me how to use my magic in a more reliable way so I could control it?" Von looked at me in awe and said "well that takes my suspicion of why you asked that question and ya know I think I can do that and now I have another human that has magical capabilities within him the guy that died had that same capacity in his being that was transferred to me but to all of that I say yes to your question but it is harder than you think to train in magic." I looked to him and said "well if you and him could master all of your magical capabilities I think I could try and do the same with that said now lets continue to the guards admission office and get me that job." as we continue to the guards admission office to get the admission papers signed we encounter a mare with a sky blue coat and (strong/dark) pink eyes she was in the same category as Spit Fire in terms of fitness and muscle hell she was just as fast if not faster than Spit Fire and looked just as beautiful I wander if she and Spit Fire are acquaintances or friends, well lets see, as I was about to say something she said "like what you see?" I stuttered and said "n...no it's not that I was just thinking that you and a mare I met just yesterday accidentally look kinda similar in fitness and tone of your bodies and muscles look alike If I may ask do you know Spit Fire?" as I said that she seemed to kinda recoil in so I'm sure she knows her. Rainbow Dash POV as this random stranger says that I kinda freak out I mean it is not like Spit Fire to not say anything about this to me or anyone on the team for that matter I then regain my former composure and asked "are you sure that was Spit Fire?" he looks at as if what I said was strange to him but shrugged it off and replied "her coat is like a yellow and he mane is like the flames of a fire she is a Pegasus like you are and she is very fit i mean military training everyday fit like you but she is unlike any mare I have ever met from my world but she also has this aura that says she can defend herself and if you mess with me you die!" I looked at him and said "Yep...that's her alright and you were right she is X military and the captain of the Wander Bolt's she is my captain and my friend but what surprised me is that she didn't say anything of meeting you to me yesterday!" he replied "well I kinda asked all of the ponies to kinda keep low about me for now I kinda had to get here under horrible circumstances and left my family,friends,and loved ones (not like I have even had a family of my own yet) behind and well it is a life or death situation for me! you understand right?" as he asked that I immediately without thinking of it gave him a hearty hug and he responded with a grunt of pain and confusion. Onyx Bolts POV "...well that was unexpected...I..I mean you hugging me that is"rainbow responds "Um.... could you not tell anyone that just happened it would hurt my reputation and that is what keeps me going most days."as she said that I seen her face flush the color red and I just decided to ignore it and ask her a question "If I may ask but what kind of relationship do you have with Spitfire and... please be honest with me I'm not judge mental and well I kinda like her her personality we didn't talk long but I could tell that she had a sensual side on her and well it seemed kinda repressed but she seemed to tap into it when I kinda knocked her outa the way when spike kinda went flyin across town and well almost hit her then me and disappeared and well ya know what happens after that." rainbow dash steps back a bit and says"I'm a friend of hers but ya know I kinda want to be more than that don't get me wrong I like where I'm at now but well I don't just like her but I like well...you a little you seem to remind me of when I started to hate my parents that always got on my nerves but well ya know forget it I'm not good at expressing my feelings so..." what happens next is a big surprise I get kissed very passionately by the rainbow mare and well I don't exactly dislike it but I also don't know how I feel about it either and as the kiss begins to get more passionate I get more into it and go with the flow of things and decide to break away and ask"okay...ya know I also like you and I like her and so do you why don't we see if she is in a relation ship if not mabie we can start a herd with you me and her and you would be the lead mare?" at this she kisses me more intensely and this continues on for 5 minutes after all of that she replies "YES!yes!yes! I would love that" as she does a back flip in the air with one of the biggest ear splitting smiles on her face and all flushed in the face.
