Adventure of a Lifetime

I set foot onto solid road, my back turned to the vehicle of shouts and head-aces. I walk down a street that seems like forever, not having a single care for the world around me. I pass houses with loud music and cheerful plays. Also hateful bark of large dogs who seem to see to through the fence, threatening to stay away. I remain to head straight, ignoring what is going around.

I reach into my pocket, take out a set of headsets and and iPod. Scrolling through the lists of songs and stories, I reach one that I haven't finished. I place the headset around my neck, and play the audio.

"The (Mis) adventures of Nava. Chapter 1, worst wake up call ever".

I laughed at the name of the chapter, basically describes my mornings. As the audio continued to read, I imagined, what it would be like to actually live in a place like that. Where you can run, and soar high without the world being on your neck.

I closed my eyes, leaned my head back, and listened to the narrator as he went on with the story. I was soon disrupted by a high blow of a car horn. I looked behind me to see a driver yelling at me through the windshield.

"Move it you moron"!

I simply flicked him off and continued to walk. I finally reached the tree, the oak tree, it was only half way but I didn't feel like going all the way home this time. I took off the bag, and sat. I continued to listen as the story went on, how the character found himself in the everfree. I closed my eyes again and laid back. The last thing I felt was the wind blowing across my face, then I fell asleep.
