Chapters Chapter The First: The Bloody Beginning
It's a normal day at the Sweet Apple Acres. Applebloom is at school, Big Mac is fixing the barn, Granny Smith is making apple-scented candles for her to sell soon. Sadly, the barns condition hasn't been checked ever since their family reunion. There are some holes and broken pieces of wood that need to be fixed, some paint has chipped off the rich apple tree wood. The roof needs some fixing-up. This all needs to happen before winter.
Applejack is helping too, right now she's buying supplies at the Ponyville market, looking for the same paint she used at the reunion. Sighing in relief, she finds the same paint shop she bought the blood red paint from. She quickly runs toward the stand and throws five bits on its table. "Two buckets of yer best red paint please!"
The market pony replies in a scratchy, loud tone: "The price has gone up by five bits since last year."

Chapter The Second: A Sudden Helper

"What?", the mare asked. Macintosh was speechless. Now the rest of the family turned around. "What in the hay are doing here? Go lay down!", Granny Smith shouted. Applebloom trotted over to Princess Twilight's castle, to pay her a visit and tell her what had happened to Applejack and if she could help her. For the rest of the small trip, the two mares were both silent. They were very worried about Applejack, and tried to get to the farm as fast as possible. "No you're not!", Granny cawed. Applebloom sighed. "Please heal her, Twilight!", she said. Twilight lowered her horn. "Okay Applejack, I need you to stand still", Twilight said. "Sure thing, Twilight", the orange mare replied. The Princess of Friendship closed her eyes and focused on the spell. A small gleaming light flickered from her horn, and got bigger by the second. Chapter The Third: An Unexpected Twist
