After an interruption of the annual Summer Sun celebration, Equestria is now in the hands of a new ruler who has seemingly perfect claim to the throne. With freedoms being revoked left and right, and a war with the griffons imminent, what will the ponies do?

The Crystal Empire has gone silent Most of the Mane Six are missing or held by the one who claimed the throne. The Princess of Friendship has fallen.

Is there any hope left for the ponies?

With no sign of Discord, Luna, or Celestia, fear permeates the land. Until out of nowhere a signal broadcasts far and wide, and the sparks of hope ignite anew. A revolution is in sight.
