Chapter 1: I have Mondays
I hate Mondays, of coarse thats propably everyone's opininion,especially a certain lasanga loving cat.However my reasons are a bit different for hating that day as you will soon see as you keep reading this. I am not a normal human being, I have no family nor do I have any friends to make the life I had bearable,but I do have theses special 'gifts' powers one could say. I can lift thing with my mind,I can move from one spot to anoher without takeing a single step. But we will get more into detail in those latter.
The reason I hate Mondays is because my luck goes from average to shit. I don't want to talk about it too much but lets just say that the worst a Monday has been for me is when I almost died eieght times,yeah the unisvere loves me right?But enough about the bad and allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Don which is short for Donald,I am 19 teen years old and I work at Mcdonald's for almost two months,wich isn't too bad with how fun it is to sass my co-workers and mamager from time to time. My favorite past time is playing on my Xbox one,watching netflix and watching Youtube comic dubs. My favorite is Undertale considering the thrill and fun I have when I imagine myself in that world. My favorite character is Sans who is a talking skeleton that makes bad but funny jokes,he acts lazy but the truth is he's a real badass fighter with magic powers that are like mine,except my eye doesn't glow and I cant summon bones or blasters.
One day I went to a convention cosplayed as a human version of sans, I dyed my hair white as bone and I wear a blue light coat similar to what sans wears,but the shorts and slippers didn't really fit in my opinion so I went with dark blue jeans and black shoes,oh and a black T-shirt too incase you wondered for whatever reason. So there I stood in the crowd of other cosplayers feeling incredibaly nervous cause like I mentioned befroe I have no friends so my social skills is pretty lacking,until I saw her.She was standing nervously behind the counter of a merchandise booth dressed in a pink sweater and a greeen skirt,her hair is a deep red color that It wouldn't surprise me if it was natural.
When I walked up to her to see what she was selling she greeted me like an old friend.
"Hello Don,enjoying the convention so far?" She seemed like a friendly girl but there was somthing off that I could tell about her,at the time I didn't know what it was execpt for one thing.
She knew my name without me telling her.
"How do you know my name,I don't think we met and I am definetly sure I didn't say say it." Despite how suspicious I am of her I still asked the queston calm and nicely, I was always good at manipulating my emotions for when acting is needed for times like these. The girl was panicking and I could see it clear in her sky blue eyes that she had sliped up with greeting me.
"lucky guess?" She said as she backed up from the counter, yeah like I was gonna make a chase scene lik some tv show,so with my powers I lifted her in the air and moved her closer to me,once she was close enough I touched her forhead with a single finger.
"Nice try." I said before teleporting us to my apartment where I live alone with no neighbors close enough to hear screaming should there be any,hopefully there won't be. I say here down gently but not letting go of my hold Incase she runs or retaliates.sigh The one time I have a girl over and it's not because of my charm.
"Okay,so you know who I am and yet I don't know a thing about you,so let's start with your name." I demanded lightly,the girl lets out a soft sigh as she hung her head. When she looked back up her right eye had changed from blue to green,that startled me a little but not enough to make me let go.
"I am Marry,and I am a being known as a displacer." She said in a firm tone. I looked closely for any indication of her lying,when I didn't see any I went to my next question.
"I'm guessing that being a displacer has a part in knowing who I am?." I never heard of displacers before but I didn't see anything that proves what she said is a lie.
She could be crazy though."Yes, it's my job to find those with potential to be a hero of the world I sent them." she said, again I found no lie in her as she said that but I still didn't believe her and thought of her as crazy.
"Yeah,I'm afraid that I'll have to call the police and take you to get help."
"I promise this is all true,I'm not crazy." she said as I reached for my phone, a mistake people should avoid saying when trying to prove they are sane.
So yeah I though she was a crazy stalker.
Just when I was about to dial the number there was a sudden green flash that blinded me for what I could guess three minuets,when I could see again I saw that I was in some kind of black void.It was empty with the exception of me and her,who I am now satarting to suspect to be a little less crazy.
"Still think I'm crazy."she said with sch a smug grin on her face.
"A little bit yeah." I admitted much to her annoyance,which is good cause that what I was going for.Marry rolled her eyes as an imagae of a giant light blue tree appered next to us,it was like looking at a hologram from some sci-fi movie.
"This Don,is what is know as the a Multiverse tree,they represent diffrent universes of other Multiverses ." She explained,then another tree about identical to the first one except the color was red.
"And this is image you see represents a Multiverse tree when it dies,each and every alternate world that braches from the original world has its core stolen,erasing that world from both time and space,this is a tragedy I was tasked to stop as a displacer by finding a champion ."
My mind nearly exploded with such information,and if she is telling me this must mean that,"You want me to be that champon don't you." I said more of a staement than a question,she gave a nod saying that I was right.
"Yes,I'm counting on you to protect the tree I was assigned to with the power I will give you." she made it sound like I didn't get to say no to this,but I'm not upset about is since my life hasn't been so great at my world anyway so why not.
"Will what are you waiting for lets do this." I said eagerly,she smiled in gratitude of my willingness to help.
"Great,but there may be some complications when you arrive though." Hearing her say that made me a little nervous but not too much,I mean it's not like this is her first time right?
"I'm sure it well be fine, you've done this a bunch before right?" I asked,and immediately regretted it when I saw her expression.
"Actually your my first." She said with embarrassment,I would have done some dome sex joke but I was a bit occupied freaking out enternally.Sigh,of all the multiverse gods I end up with the noobie,I'm definitely fucked aren't I? Anyways she gives me this watch explaining that it well tell me details of the AUs I come to save,she also tells me that when a AU is in danger the watch we'll make it easier to travel to it as well as any AUs I wish to explore. It also functions as a watch to,neat.
"Well good luck in your new reality,Sans." Marry said before I became blinded by a bright light,when my fission returned I find myself standing in a snowy field, surrounded by what I guess is the locals of this world. Not even a whole minuet and I'm already in trouble.
Did I mention how much I have Mondays?
