Prologue: Your Decisions Make You

Atop of a large mountain pass, A young man of seventeen walks up the path that leads to a cliff overlooking the valley below. In his hand, the kuva scepter he had taken from the Grineer Queen and dealt with ehr accordingly. He makes it to the peak of the cliff, to see Teshin waiting for him, the one who had helped him defeat the queen, he spoke to the young one.

“You don’t know what to do with it.”

“So tell me.”

“Hm...some believe that the kuva within is the blood of orokin ancestors. An elixir of power...of immortality. Others believe it to be a poison, a corrupting oil that brings madness and evil.”

Keiji looks over to Teshin, gripping the scepter a bit.

“What do you believe…?”

Teshin chuckles lightly.

“I believe them both. But for you, Tenno, perhaps the kuva is just a symbol. That what you will choose to do, will define you more than anything.”

Teshin turns and walks away, giving Keiji his space to think. His ice blue eyes looking out into the distance as he thinks on it.

I should consume it...they took everything I had away from me. The last bit of family I left. And it is because of them that all the rest of the crew turned…

He looks at the vial on the scepter, then grabs it. He nods to himself and places it to his lips, drinking it down quickly. For a moment, nothing happens but soon…

"Hey, kiddo, what took you so long?"

Keiji is then shaken out of the trance by Teshin.

“The world...lays more heavily on you now more than ever. Try not to lose yourself, Tenno.”

--Weeks Later--

Keiji sits in the back of his ship thinking. It had been a few weeks now since he had fully regained memories of his past and suppressed power that dwelled within him. What was to be his next move? Just keep on taking down grineer and corpus enemies until something else comes along? Ordis, the ship’s cephalon speaks out.

“Operator, Is everything alright? You have been rather quiet for sometime now.”

Keiji lifts his head up and nods.

“Yeah...just a few things on my mind is all, Ordis. I just...having these abilities I never knew I had. Especially since now I don’t even need this simatic link machine anymore. I don’t even know why I am still sitting in it…”

“Perhaps out of habit? You did stay in there for the longest time.”

“That is true, but now that I can freely move about, and can become one with my warframe by transference, it just makes me wonder. Am I heading towards something in the future I will need these abilities for?”

He sighs and stands up from the chair of the machine. He makes his way through the door of the room and walks up the left ramp and around to where his warframe, Frost Prime stood still, but almost as if always on watch. Keiji reaches up and places a hand on the warframe's chest, a faint ice blue energy coming from his hands as he did so, the energy lighting up Frost Prime as it becomes alive.

“You and me buddy. Whatever happens, I know I have you to get me out of trouble should it come knocking...and Ordis to.”

“Aaawwww, that warms my circuits, Operator. Ordis never knew you really cared for him!”

“Well, your violent outbursts do tend to make me laugh, especially when you go back to speaking regularly after them.”

Suddenly, the ship shakes and a loud BOOM is heard. Keiji stumbles about, grabbing onto a nearby pipe that held some wiring. He looks out the window to see grineer fighters incoming. The Lotus comes on the coms.

“Tenno, I am ready that you are under attack by the grineer! Are you alright?!”

“Yeah, I am fine! They must want my head for killing off one of their queens! Ordis, evasive maneuvers!”

“At once, Operator!”

The ship began to dodge and weave between the gunfire that was being thrown at it. Keiji jumps from where his was over to frost and uses his transference to become one with the warframe. He soon takes control of Frost and makes his way to the front of the ship. He gets to the console and activates the ship’s defenses. Shooting down any fighters that get in his way.

“Tenno, you need-to--out-”

The signal gets cut off.

“Lotus? Lotus I can’t hear you!”

Another voice came through, it was...warm and loving, very motherly.

“Ah...you have grown so much, young Void Walker...and now you have fully awaken yourself.”

“Who are you? How did you get through my coms?!”

“Who I am..is not important now, Keiji.”

“How do you even know that name…? No one but myself remembers my real name…”

“I have watched you for many many years, Keiji...let’s just say, I have plans for you to be called to a more noble purpose. The Lotus only uses you for her selfish nature, claiming that it is for the good of your kind. She has lied to you once. Who is to say she won’t do it again?”

Keiji thought on it for a second. Whoever this was, she was right. He didn’t trust the Lotus after what had transpired before. Why should he even trust her now and do as she tells him?

“And what do you want from me?”

“It is simple, I want you to come home, Keiji. Come back to the world that you truly belong to...your soul does not belong in this world, But in mine...is where you should have been born…”

“What..do you mean…?”

‘All will be explained in due time, my sweet Void Walker.”

Suddenly, a white swirling light consumes the ship entirely, making it disappear into thin air. Good timing to, the grineer were indeed starting to close in.

--Canterlot Castle, Twilight Sparkle’s Coronation--

“Today, I consider myself the luckiest pony in all of Equestria! Thank you friends, thank you everypony!!!”

The cheers below from all the ponies lasted for a few moments, then changed into screams and gasps of fear as a loud boom echoed through the sky, a large swirling light spits out an odd looking metallic aircraft, it flies down towards them, nearly landing into the crowd as it flies over the courtyard. But pulls up in time and turns around and hovers there.

“Oh Mother...is this the one from the void you spoke of…?”

Celestia asked herself as her and the others stared up at the roaring aircraft. It sounded like an angered beast, howling and growling as it eyes it’s prey. What will happen? Will keiji open fire on these unsuspecting ponies? Or will he follow through with the unknown voice that has yet to explain what the hell is going on?

Act 1: First Encounter

Keiji looked down at all the strange beings below as his ship hovered over the courtyard. His ice blue eyes looking over every single one. They were so...different. Different color, different hair color and multiple colors at that. Some of them had wings, some of them had horns and others had neither. He did take notice of the ones in what looked to be golden armor and carrying spears and swords. Guards, that much he could tell from looking at them. His attention turned to the ones on the balcony. Four of them had both wings and horns. Some kind up superiors? Rulers even? He makes a judgment call, would it be good? That is a chance he was willing to take.

“Ordis, hover over that open spot there were none of them are standing. I don’t want to spook them too much.”

“A wise decision, Operator..”

“I am going to go and get geared up, just in case things do go wrong. Keep the finger on the trigger should things get out of hand. But only fire on my command.”

“Of course, Operator. I will await your signal. Please be careful out there.”

Keiji nods.

“You know me Ordis, I try to be civil first.”

Keiji walks over to his arsenal. He grabs his most valued gun, Soma Prime and his favorite melee weapon, Serro. He goes into the lower part of the ship as he slides himself into the groove and is turned out of the ship and now facing the green grass below. He jumps off and land on his feet in a crouch, slowly rising.

They all seem to be afraid, but also curious. Still, I must keep my guard up.

Guard from every direction soon surrounded him and pointed their spears at him with glares. Keiji remained calm and collected though..

“State your name and business!”

“You can’t just fly in here unannounced!”

Back on the balcony, Celestia watched the unknown being keep his composure around the guards. It was as Faust had shown her in a dream A large flying aircraft that roared and howled like a beast, and now a tall mechanical and metallic looking being that came from the ship All she needed to see was…

“Guards, escort him to throne room. Wait till my sister and I return.”

Shouted the amazonian alicorn. Her voice full of authority. The guard lower their weapons but do not take their eyes off the being for a moment. Keiji places a finger to where his ear would be.

“Ordis, they seem to be taking me where there ruler resides. Goes find a place to dock the ship that is secure and safe.”

“Very well.”

The ship turns and flies off in the distance, leaving Keiji alone with the new beings. He looks around as the guards draw closer to him.

“Are you armed?”

“I am, for my own protection. So long as you don’t cause me any physical trouble, I will not draw my weapons.”

“Very well. But try anything that would give us a reason…”

“You have my word.”

As the guards escort him into the castle and away from the crowd, Celestia watches him intently. Luna looks up at her elder sister.

“Tia...you really think he could be…?”

“I don’t know, all the signs point to yes from what I have seen.”

Twilight looks up to her former mentor as well.

“Princess...what exactly was that?”

“I do not have time to explain Twilight. I will tell you everything I can find out from him in a letter once I ask him a few questions. You and your friends return back to Ponyville. I do not know...if he is somepony good...or bad.”

Twilight hugs Celestia tightly before her and her friends start to leave.

“Be careful princess...something about him feels...off. Not bad, but off.”

--Throne Room--

Keiji sits there on his knees and hands resting on his thighs. He is in deep thought at the moment. The guards keeping a watchful eye on him, but wondering why he has been so quiet and still.

They seem to be a reasonable bunch. At least they aren’t like the Grineer or the Corpus. Though I do have to wonder. Why did that voice call me...Void Walker? She said it like it was my actual name.

And is this even my universe I am in? I highly doubt it. Nothing this...colorful and bright would even survive in the universe I was in.

Maybe...this is what I needed to prepare for? Could this be why I was awakened and taught how to control my power?

He was brought out of his train of thought by a throat clearing, he slowly lifts his head to see two of the four winged and horned beings standing on the stairs before him. They are bipedal with hooves, but had hands. Large...rather adorable eyes and muzzles faces. Like an equine with human properties. They are both definitely female, that much is clear.

“Please rise, stranger. There is no need for you to remain on your knees.”

Said the dark blue one. She stared at him with those big teal eyes, studying his warframe as if seeking something

“I assume...you were taken from your own world, yes?”

“Keiji nods.

“I was.”

“Might I ask you of something then. I need to be sure…”

Keiji tilts his head as he watches the taller and curvier white one seem to struggle with her question. But she finally gets the courage to ask.

“Could you please show us who you really are? I sense another inside of you.”

How could she know I am inside of Frost?...?

Luna chimes in.

“We both understand that this may be strange to you. After all, you have just arrived here. Though we also believe it is not my mere chance. My sister and I have seen this in a dream. Your arrival and your true appearance. That is why she has asked you to emerge from your...I can’t say what it is.”

He stares at the sisters for a moment, then speaks.

“Forgive me if I seem hesitant, but how do I know that when I do reveal myself, you will not attack me?”

Celestia understood where he was coming from. He was a stranger in a new land, brought here by their creator. She motions the guards to leave him and go back to their posts.

“You have my word, no harm will come to you.”

“As you have mine, stranger. So long as you do not give us any reason to retaliate.”

Keiji nods. He goes still for moment, then a icy blue light starts to slowly emerge from the warframe. They widen their eyes as they see who comes out of it, Keiji himself. Both Luna and Celestia were expecting...someone of the same size as they one they had seen before him. But this being looked...so very young. But he was what they had seen in Celestia’s dream. Especially those eyes. Ice blue orbs that could make you feel just as cold.

“It is you...just like the one in my dream…”

Celestia said as she began to walk down the steps and towards him slowly and carefully. She was so very tall compared to him. He watched her movements carefully, prepare to go back into Frost should he need to. Or even use his void abilities. She finally stands in front of him. She did promise she wouldn’t try to hurt him. But could he trust her. After all, he had been lied to by the Lotus for so long. She reaches out to gently caress his cheek, but he quickly steps back away from the hand. Celestia blinked a bit and gave a hurtful look when he did.

“Forgive me for acting the way I do. I have already been lied to most of my life by someone who acted as my mother. You can imagine someone who I thought that close to me did such a thing to me, that I would not trust you right away. I was even hesitant to allow that voice to take me here. But I was in the middle of a gun fight with enemies and they had me surrounded.”

Celestia, being motherly in nature couldn’t help but feel for the young man. A mother is supposed to be true to their child. She could tell that he did not grow up with a real mother. But now wasn’t the time for that. Luna soon approached her sister’s side.

“We believe you have been brought here for a reason. That reason we are not sure of. But your appearance here in our world definitely means something. I believe introductions should be made. That will start us off at least. I am Princess Luna.”

“And I am Princess Celestia. We are the two sisters who rule this land.”

“The...only name I seemed to remember is Keiji. I have been asleep most of my life that I can’t even remember my biological parents…”

He places a hand on his head as he sees images of shadowy figures, struggling to remember. Celestia sees this and just wanted so badly to hug him, but refrained from doing so.

“Perhaps....maybe you need time to rest? I could offer you a place to stay if you wish.”

“That is kind of you, but I have my own place thank you.”

He used transference to get back into his warframe. Frost becoming mobile again. He places a finger to the side of his head.

“Ordis, come and get me. There is a balcony to the right of my position.”

“Thank the stars! You were so very quiet for awhile there. It is too much to worry an old cephalon such as myself! On my way!”

Celestia didn’t want him to leave, nor did Luna for that matter. They watched him walk over to the balcony, his ship hovers above him and he turns to look at the two alicorns.

Don’t worry, I will not cause any of your kind any trouble, I will just be up in space. I will return tomorrow once I understand why I am here and settle down.”

And with that, he leaps up into his ship, the aircraft turning around and shooting off into the sky, up, up up until it was no longer seen. Celestia looks over to Luna and frowns a bit.

“The poor child...I can only imagine what he has been through.”

“Tia...he may be young, but did you not feel that odd power coming from him? It is nothing like magic...at all.”

“I felt it, and it is frightening. It is something I feel I will not be able to control should his intentions become ill. I do hope that Mother brought him here knowing what he was…”

Act 2: Beginnings Of Potential Bonds

Keiji’s ship begins it destination that Celestia has specified him to meet with Twilight Sparkle, her former student and newly crowned Princess Of Friendship. Keiji paces around as he waits for the ship to slow at the destination he had Ordis input.

“Operator, please calm your nerves. You are going to pace a circle into the floor! It can be all that bad...right? Ordis feels this will be good for the operator.”

Keiji sighs and looks over at Frost. Then looks out the window of his ship.

“Ordis...it has been so very long since I have had actual interaction with a being that wasn’t trying to kill me and wasn’t made of metal and oilor wanted to kill me and or trying and swindle me out of every credit I had.”

“Ordis understands your hesitation to interact with the equine people. But you must remember, this is a new world. The Grineer and the Corpus are no longer a threat to you. For years you have slept, your childhood has flown pasted and whatever family you had is gone. Ordis...wants you to be able to move on from that. Make new friends and family. This world is quite possibly a new start for you. I...just want the operator to be happy is all.”

Keiji blinks as he rarely sees this side of his ship cephalon. Ever since he had found out about Ordis’ past, hen felt more and more sympathetic towards him..

“Ordis...you really think this could be good?”

“Its certainly has the potential to be. Ordis will always be there for the operator when he needs him. Especially since he puts up with Ordis’ violent outbursts. Now, go out there and--KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF-F-F--...make as many friends as possible. Ordis will be here should you need him.”

--Canterlot Castle, Earlier That Day--

Keiji hovers his ship over the balcony he had departed from the day before. And who should be waiting for him but Celestia herself, a bright smile on her face to see that he had came back. He drops down in his warframe from his ship, this time only with Serro sheathed on his back. His ship flies off to go and conceal itself somewhere.Keiji approaches Celestia and nods to her.

“So then, you said you had a dream of my appearance in your world? What is it, some kind of divine providence or something?”

“That is what it seems like, Keiji. My Mother or, Faust rather, this world’s creator showed me a dream of a form of metal and ice, and inside that form was a younger being who could control something known as…’void’.”

“And let me guess, she also told you I was to be a great hero of your kind or something along those lines?”

“She….did not mention anything like that.”

“Good, that is one responsibility I do not wish to take on. Last thing I need is to play ‘hero’. I don’t know if your ‘mother’ told you, but I am a mercenary, a killer. I may still be a considered a child because of my age, but I have seen and done things that would make others shudder. They are called ‘warframes’ for a reason.”

“I know what you are, Keiji. She told me you are a Tenno, something beyond human. And I know you have taken countless lives in the name of the one you call….’Lotus’. And that she has lied to you all your life.”

“You’re right, she did. So tell me this. Why should I see you as any different? You are a ruler of a kingdom, I get that. You want to keep order. But think about it. I was brought here because it was either that, or die at the hands of enemies that wanted to kill me, or come here in order to escape. Do you know what it’s like? To be hunted and hunt at the same time? Everything based on a lie. Only to realize that you were sleeping the whole time, thinking it was all just some horrible dream?”

Celestia knew what he was doing. He was letting out emotions that had been bottled up for a very long time now and are resurfacing from his latest hardship. She stood there and listened patiently. Her heart was going out to the young man. This ‘Lotus’ may have had good intentions of protecting Keiji from his memories and his power. But she sheltered him too much when it was time for him to wake, and he had to suffer because of it. The way he spoke, he sounded so angry and sad. Outside of his frame, he had a slightly deep and gravelly voice, but inside,he sounded metallic and more sinister.

“Keiji...please come out.”

He stops venting and looks to her.

“Why…?”

Celestia approaches him with a look of genuine concern in her eyes. She stood about eight feet tall compared to his nearly seven foot warframe. He took a few steps back as she moved forward.

“You don’t have to trust me, Keiji. But let me give you something that your ‘Lotus’ should have done a long time ago. Please come out…”

Keiji was hesitant for a few minutes, but Celestia was patient. He finally steps out of Frost and looks up at Celestia. She could see the surge of emotions in his eyes now.She knees now at eye level with him, her beautiful purple eyes staring into his own. Keiji suddenly felt something he hadn’t felt since...his own biological mother. He remembers this feeling of warmth and care. Suddenly, it grows ten times more as Celestia wraps her arms and wings around Keiji. She smelled so nice, and her body was so soft and warm. Keiji slowly brings his arms up and around Celestia, nestling his face into her neck.

“I know I am not your mother, nor could I ever be. But, should you ever begin to trust me and my sister as well, we will be happy to give you guidance. And we would never ever hide the truth you needed to know. And should you ever need comfort like this. I will be happy to hold you like this for as long as needed. You may be a seasoned warrior but, you are still young.”

Keiji could only squeeze around her tighter as she continued to comfort him. He...didn’t want to let go but, he had to. He releases his arms from around her and backs away. She was a little sad that he had left her embrace, but understood. She stand back up on her hooves and cleared her throat.

“So then, I believe that in order for you to break through your mistrust, I suggest you go and make yourself at home in Ponyville. It is the small town in the valley below. I had already taken care of your living arrangements. There is a house in town that has been vacant for a few month that now belongs to you.”

“That...is kind of you Princess, but you really didn’t have to go through all the trouble. I have lived in my ship for awhile now and it isn’t so bad. Beats being stuck in a pod.”

Celestia tilted her head at his last statement, but shook her head.

“I...recommend that you not stay in your ship. Otherwise it would be rather difficult to get ahold of you. Just...give it a chance please, Keiji I promise you, that you will no longer have to deal with what you have been through. This will be a new start for you. You are in control of your life now, the way it should have been.”

--Present Time, Ponyville--

The ship hovers over the spot where Keiji was told to land. Before he left the castle, Celestia asked him to leave his frame aboard his ship. He was hesitant about it, but agreed. If he was to make a decent impression, he would have to reveal who he truly was.

“Alright Ordis...here goes nothing”

He said as he exits his ship out onto the grassy field below. When he is out, the ship flies off. He wasn’t worried, he could always just use transference to make his way back to the ship, seeing that Frost was left aboard. It was a little after midday, Keiji looked around at his new surroundings, walking around and examining what he could. It reminded him of what earth was before the Grineer got ahold of it. It was...rather beautiful. He kneels down and lightly runs his fingers through the grass, the air here smelled fresh and the wind felt nice. Just then, he heard someone approaching behind him. He stands up to see the lavender alicorn who was with Celestia and her sister the day he came. Though she seemed...surprised at who she was looking at.

“Um...I heard your aircraft as i approached. Are you Keiji?”

She asked as she noticed how he looked. She was expecting that large being with weapons to be there. But here was this young human who didn’t look a day over sixteen. She was even slightly taller than he was. Keiji simply nodded to her.

“I am. And you must be Twilight Sparkle correct? Or should I address you as princess as well?”

Twilight brings her hand up and gives a dismissal wave.

“No no, Twilight is just fine...honestly this whole ‘princess’ thing is just..so new.”

Keiji walks up to her and locks eyes with her. Those icy grey and blue eyes sending shivers up her spine, and the glow to them wasn’t really helping. She takes a small step back from it.

“Well, I am here. I am...not sure what I should do now.”

Twilight shook her head from her slight fear and motioned him to follow her.

“Come on,let me show you to your new home. We need to get you settled in first. And then I have my friends I want you to meet. They are also quite curious as to who I am bringing into Ponyville.”

He nods.

“Very well, let us be on our way then.”

Keiji and Twilight walked along the path that lead into Ponyville. The walk was quiet, only slight gazes were met with both of them. Keiji just didn’t know what to say. But Twilight, she was trying to steal every glance she could get at him.

How could someone so young operate an aircraft like he does? And where is that other being that came during the ceremony? Just what is he…?

She thought to herself. Keiji was in his own thoughts as well. Wondering how he would adapt to such a new world around new beings. Twilight saw that his thoughts gave him a look of concern. She speaks up.

“Keiji…?”

“Oh...sorry. Just wish I knew why I was here was all. The last thing I remember a voice telling me before I came here was “Come home, my sweet Void Walker.”. She said it like she knew who I was. As if it was a name that was given to me.”

Twilight blinks a few times.

“A voice spoke to you before you came here? The only one who could have done that was Faust herself. Our creator. She must have been the one who brought you here.”

“Yes, Princess Celestia told me about that. She said that she had some kind of dream that prophesied my appearance here. I am just glad I am not some kind of destined hero.”

Twilight giggled softly, understanding how he feels because of her new responsibility now.

“You are lucky. I have to learn how to be a princess now. By the way. How...old are you, Keiji?”

“I...think I am seventeen. I can’t really remember when I was born. Some of my memories still have holes in them. I don’t even remember my own parents all that well.”

Twilight’s heart saddened a bit. He can’t remember his parents and on top of that he was torn from his world and brought here, not knowing why. What else has this being gone through? Maybe she would ask him once she gets to know him more. But for now, it was time to earn his trust, and eventually his friendship.

--Ponyville, Keiji’s Home--

The walk to his new home was a bit overwhelming. Having eyes upon him as he walked along with Twilight. Some out of concern, some out of uncertainly and some out of...cuteness? Already stealing the hearts of others here and he doesn’t even know it. The human may be adorable on the outside, but what if they saw the monster that he controlled? Best not reveal that yet. Twilight opens the door to the home and walks in, letting him come in next. He looks around at the surprisingly roomy home. It was even well furnished and had plenty of food in the cabinets and pantry. Celestia really did set him up it seemed.

“Your registration has already been sat up at town hall. Please, make yourself at home Keiji. I will come by tomorrow to check on you, give you a bit more time to settle in.”

He nods as he continues to look around.

“Thank you Twilight. You didn’t have to do this, but thank you.”

“Get some rest, I am sure you are rather exhausted. See you tomorrow. I can introduce you to my friends then.”

Twilight walks out and closes the door behind her. She smiles to herself as she walks along back to the library.

I can tell overtime...he will become a good friend.

Keiji walks over to the bed that was there. Made neatly for him and ready. He begins to fall forward and lands on the bed. It was so very soft and comfortable.

“So...this is what a bed feels like…”

He said as his eyes slowly, sending him into a state of slumber.

Act 3: And so, His New Life Begins

Keiji slowly opens his eyes as he awakens. He looks around to see he was...back at the place where he had slept for many many years while controlling the warframe, except it was more...cleaner and not full of rubble. He stands up and looks around, walking about the room in confusion.

“Was it all just a dream…? Where’s Frost?”

“No, but this is a dream, my sweet child.”

Said that all too familiar voice, the one that brought him to where he was in the first place. She appears before him out of a bright light. An alicorn with a deep red mane and tail and white fur. She was dressing in a long white dress that was quite revealing in some areas. Though that wasn’t on his mind. He lifts a finger to point at her.

“So...you are responsible for sending me to that world?”

“That I am. I took you out of harm’s way, did I not?”

He was about to say something when he knew she was right. He lowers his finger and looks up at her. She smiled warmly and approaches him. Though he backs away when she gets closer.

“You haven’t been very honest with my kind, Keiji. You lied about your age and a few other things…”

Keiji turns away and crosses his arms.

“Tch. They don’t need to know what I really am or how old I really am. And your daughter. Well, lets just say I can see through her fake kindness. She tells you what you want to hear in order to make you feel better. It is going to be a long time before I truly trust any of these beings.”

Faust frowned at how cold he sounded towards Celestia. She approaches him again, this time standing behind him and gently places a hand on his shoulder.

“You really feel that way about her…? Even after she gave you a home?”

“What do you expect from me? You claim to have seen all of my life, even during my slumber. You can’t blame me for feeling the way I do. Besides, if she knew what I could do, she wouldn’t trust me either. You have seen my capabilities with AND without Frost Prime. And if she ever found out I took down a queen, how do you think she’d react? She’d keep tabs on me twenty-four seven.”

Faust couldn’t blame him after indeed knowing what he had been through. She gently rubs his shoulder as she lowers her eyes sadly.

He has changed so so much. Even though he has the same soul as my sweet Void Walker. He is now this warborn eternal youth. Demonized by his own people because of the Orokin…

What did she mean? Well, it isn’t the right time to tell him...not yet.

“Keiji...you must let all this go. My daughter would never treat you like that. I know you are troubled by your past, but this is a new life for you here in this world. Please...let go of the hatred you feel. Don’t let the kuva you consumed blacken your heart. That is the last thing I want to see happen to you. It is just like Teshin said, “Try not to lose yourself, Tenno.”. Remember what you fought for when you slept. For honor and justice.”

Keiji lowered his head and squeezed his hands into fists, stretching the leather as he did. He jerks his shoulder away from her gentle touch and walks away. He didn’t want to admit she was right.

“Just leave me alone. I don’t need a lecture from you. I may be young physically, but I am an adult. Don’t treat me like a child.”

Faust nodded.

“You are right, Keiji. You aren’t a child. But that doesn’t mean you can’t rely on others and trust them. If anything, I will always be there for you. Whether if you believe me or not.”

She said as she vanishes into the same light she came in with, leaving him with a few echoing words.

“Until we meet again, Void Walker.”

The dream fades to white.

--Early Morning--

Keiji opens his eyes once more, this time out of the dream realm. He slowly turns over on his back and sits up. He hadn’t slept that well in quite sometime. He slowly slides off his bed and stretches, letting out a yawn as he shuffles into the kitchen. He grabs a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter and some jelly. He quickly makes himself two sandwiches and sits down at the table. He then eats quietly, falling into thought once more.

Am I really taking this mistrust thing a little too extreme? She is right...it is a new world. And everything here seems fine. No grineer...no corpus...especially no infested or orokin. Maybe I should-

His thought was cut short by a knock at the door.

Keiji…? It’s Twilight. Are you awake?”

“Yeah, door’s open.”

The door opens and she comes in. She was dressed in her usual attire. A black t-shirt with a black short skirt and black stockings with white shoes. She sets a couple of books down on the table next to the door and comes into the dinning room, seeing he had already prepared breakfast for himself, she smiled to him lightly.

“Two sandwiches? You must be pretty hungry.”

Keiji just sat there and ate silently, only nodding to her statement as a response, keeping his gaze forward. Twilight looks at him with slight worry. She walks over to the chair next to him and sits down.

“Did..you sleep alright?”

He nodded again, finishing one of his sandwiches already.

“Yeah. Can’t remember that last time I slept on a bed so comfortable.”

Twilight blinks a few times.

“How...did you sleep before coming here?”

“I slept in a pod, for many years.”

What do you mean for many years? You are only seventeen aren’t you?”

“As far as you know.”

He said before taking a bite into his second sandwich. Twilight narrowed her eyes at him. She crosses her arms under her bust. Keiji knew exactly what she wanted.

“No, I will not tell you what I truly am or how old I really am. I am not ready to divulge that information yet.”

She huffs and pouts more, but stands up.

“Fine. What do I have t6o do to get to know more about you then?”

Keiji shrugged.

“Well, considering I don’t know anything about this realm or it’s inhabitants, teach me all I need to know.”

Oh boy...Keiji just fell into a hole he is going to have issues crawling out of. Twilight’s eyes widen and sparkled. She said a big smile on her face when he had asked her that.

--Two Hours Later--

“And that is how Equestria became what it is today!”

Keiji leaned back in his chair, he head leaned back and his eyes wide, drool dripping from his mouth slightly.

“Um...Keiji? Are you alright?”

He quickly leans forward and wipes the drool off his mouth.

“Geez...you didn't have to go into that much detail…”

She blushes slightly with a sheepish smile.

“Sorry...I got a little excited there. I like to share knowledge with others when it is asked for.”

He sighs and stands up, taking his plate to the sink and removes his gloves. He washes the plate clean and dries his hands with a nearby towel, then slides his gloves back on.

“So then, you said you wanted to introduce me to your friends? Not sure how well that will go over.”

“Oh I think it will be fine! In fact we are meant to go meet them now. We have a picnic scheduled in about twenty minutes and I told them I would be bringing a new friend!”

He looks up at the clock on the wall, then shakes his head.

“Geez...a two hour history lesson…”

He said before sighing and giving in.

“Fine. I will go. But don’t expect me to be very talkative. Not sure you or your friends want to know where I came from.”

“Oh come on. It can’t be that bad!”

Twilight said as she grabbed his hand and pulled him along

“Come on, I can’t wait for you to meet them!”

She said as she pulls him out the door.

Damnit Ordis...if this goes wrong…

He thought to himself.

--Outside Of Ponyville, Open Meadow--

“So who do you think this new friend of Twilight’s is?”

Asked Rainbow Dash in her usual tomboyish voice

“Ah am not sure. But she said he ain’t from around here.”

Replied Applejack, setting down a fresh,hot apple pie and a few apples onto the picnic blanket.

“Oooh I wonder if he is a handsome stallion. Or maybe a fashion designer as well!”

Shout rarity with a dreamy look in her eyes

‘I...hope he is nice. After that scare from the other day, I don’t know if I can handle anymore visitors like that…”

Said fluttershy in her adorable quiet tone.

“And I still need to throw him a party! Everyone gets a party from me when they come to Ponyville! It’s what I do!”

Pinkie Pie said bouncing about. Soon enough though, Twilight and Keiji came to the picnic. And whenever Keiji came up beside her, all the mare stopped what they were doing and gasped, eyes wide at the new face.

“Hey girls! I brought him along! This is Keiji! Keiji, these are my friends!”

Keiji avoided any eye contact with them for a moment, then lifts his head up and waves to them slightly.

“Well...he certainly isn’t from around here. I will tell you that much.”

Rainbow said as she walked over to him, along with the others.

“Oh my...darling, I do love your style of fashion. It looks really really good on you. What materials it this made out of?”

Rarity said as she lifts up one of his arms and runs her soft hands up and down his sleeve.

“So, what brings you here kid? You and your parents just move here?”

Rainbow asked unknowing she’d just stepped on a landmine.

“I am not a kid, and my parents are long dead. In fact, I am older than all of you.”

He said in a slightly angered tone, those icy blue and grey eyes now locked onto Rainbow Dash. And they sent a shiver down her spine. He had the eyes of a killer.

“S-sorry...I didn’t mean to…”

Keiji pulls his arms away from the fashionista. He then looks at Twilight.

“Why did you bring me out here if they were just going to ask me dumb questions? And ones that would piss me off?”

Twilight gets a worried look on her face.

“Keiji..I didn’t think they would ask that of you so quickly. I-.”

“Save it Twilight. I knew this was a bad idea to begin with. I am going home. No...I am going back to my ship.’

Keiji turns to walk away to leave the group, when one of them grabs his by the hand with her gentle touch. Keiji turns his head with a death glare.

“Please...don’t leave sir. Rainbow didn’t know...And I don’t see you as a child at all. I can tell because you have the eyes of somepony who has seen much and done much. And I also believe that you are older than us. I don’t know how you are, considering your youthful appearance. But please, don’t leave. She even said she was sorry.”

Of course, this one pony was Fluttershy. Kind and gentle. Keiji searched her eyes for any deception. He could not find one hint of it. But his mind was telling him otherwise.

Hey, kiddo.

Remember, these are new beings. Don’t let the bright colors and nice personalities fool you. They may betray you in the end. You aren’t one of them…

He grabs at his head with his free hand, the slight pain stinging him from within. This is what Teshin meant when he told Keiji not to lose himself. He drank the kuva, and now he walks a line between keeping his mind his own, and losing it to darkness. Twilight and the others see that he is in pain and gather around him concerningly

“You alright there sugarcube?”

Asked Applejack as she reaches to him, but pulls back as he moves away.

“Get away from me...all of you. You will just betray me in the end...get away!”

He said as a light blue light englufs him.In his place stand Frost Prime, Serro drawn and ready for combat.

“I will not fall for your lies! Yours, or your rulers or creator!”

The grass and area around them began to slowly cover with ice, the slow creaking sound of it getting closer and closer to them as it washes over the ground and trees.

“Ordis, come and pick me up. Now.”

“As you wish, Operator”

Fluttershy approached him slowly. Keiji looked at her from within Frost, readying his weapon.

“You are just going to run away then? Retreat to someplace where nopony can reach you?”

“Don’t lecture me! I have heard enough from every single one of you!”

The ice started to form in solid spikes in the area now. But this did not stop Fluttershy from approaching him.

“I get it, you are afraid of being betrayed! You are in a new place, with new beings! I can understand your fear. But that doesn’t mean you should run from it!”

“YOu have no idea! Try having your childhood taken from you, then turned into a freak. And then placed in a nearly eternal sleep only to wake up and nearly have yourself killed!”

Something suddenly forces him out of Frost, the warframe collapses to a knee as Keiji is thrown out.

“What the…?”

Fluttershy approaches him quickly to see if he is okay, but he quickly places a hand up in front of him, which was glowing with void energy.

“Stay back...I don’t want to do this..”

Fluttershy would usually be scared when it came to something like this, but she wasn’t. She just gave a gentle smile and knelt down in front of him.

“I know you don’t. You are scared. But that is okay.”

She said as she leans in and slowly wraps his arms around him along with her wings.

“I am scared to. I am scared of you and that thing you control. But I am overcoming it, knowing that deep down, you wouldn’t hurt anyone who would hurt you. I don’t know about your past. But you shouldn’t let it hold you back from moving forward.”

She said as she hugged him a bit tighter, running her hands up and down his back comfortingly

“I don’t know what you think we would do to you. But I can promise you, I know I wouldn’t turn on you or stab you in the back. So please...Keiji. Don’t run from us we will never try to hurt you. I can promise that.”

He wanted so badly to just run, but her words and her embrace, they wouldn’t let him. Instead, all he could do is just break down and cry silently. Wrapping his arms around the yellow pegasus and nuzzling into her chest. The ice fades away and his ship hovers over.

“Operator...you are finally allowing your ice walls to melt. Ordis is...very very happy for you. You deserve this, a new beginning. One where happiness is grant to you.”

Act 4: A Side Rarely Seen

It has been a week now since Keiji had been brought into this new world. He was still no more closer to letting any of the ponies know what or who he really is though. He hardly ever leaves him home, and when he does, it is to return to his ship for whatever reason. Even after what had happened the other days, he still didn’t feel like he could just let his guard down around these beings. What he freaking out about nothing? Were they really as kind as they all portrayed to be? He was currently in his home, reading a few books that Twilight had brought him. There was a knock at the door. He looks up from his book and calls out.

“It’s open.”

He said as he closed the book and stood up, walking over to the kitchen to pour himself a glass of water. The door opens and who should be the one to enter but Fluttershy. The very pony who prevented him from making a mistake that he probably would have regretted but, that still remains to be seen. Keiji looks over at the voluptuous pegasus mare. She was wearing a for-fitting green turtleneck sweater, and light blue denim shorts which hugged her hips nicely, Even though she wore a sweater, there was no hiding that ample bust that was beneath it, and they were plentiful indeed.

“Um...hi there Keiji. H-How have you been lately?”

She said in her gentle kind tone, looking around the home to see that he was keeping it nice and tidy, which impressed Fluttershy.

“Oh you know, just staying away from others when I can. Still not quite used to this yet. Wondering if you and your friends are as genuine as you seem. You know, stuff like someone like me worries about in his current situation.”

“Oh…”

She said as she lowers her ears with a bit of a sad look on her face. She had really hoped after what had happened he had changed his view on her and her friends. Though her thought was changed when he walked up in front of her and offered her a glass of water.

“That doesn’t mean I have to be a rude host to my guests though.”

Fluttershy smiles down at him and takes the glass of water thankfully, Keiji walks over to the kitchen table and sits down, Fluttershy following and pulls up a chair near him. It was quiet for a few minutes, until Fluttershy spoke up.

“So...I was wondering...if you want to that is...if you’d accompany me today. I need to head out into the Everfree Forest and well...I don’t like going in there by myself. And it is the only place where I can find the herbs I need to make one of my sick animalfirneds healthy again...please?”

She gave him those adorable big cyan blue eyes. Which he had to admit was chipping at his ucy wall. He shakes his head and sighs.

“None of your friends want to go with you?”

Fluttershy shakes her head as well.

“They said they were too bosy with their own things...I just...I just don’t want to go in there by myself.”

Keiji could see that she really didn’t want to. He finishes drinking his water and sets the glass on the table. He then nods to ehr.

“Alright. I will go with you. I can’t stand to see you look so downi about it...and it is pissing me off that I can’t find the reason why.”

Fluttershy gasps happily and jumps up, she wraps her arms around him and hugs him tightly, burying his face into her ample bust and nuzzling the top of his head.

“Oooh thank you so much Keiji! I know that my animal friend will be very happy you came along with me!”

He wasn’t going to lie, he is a male after all and he thought she had some very very nice breasts. He actually that she was kind of pretty as a whole. Adorable voice, beautiful eyes, shy and sweet demeanor--Wait...no! What was he thinking?! He pushes her away, but not roughly. He backs away from her and simply stares at her with those icy eyes.

“Let’s just go.”

“Right...sorry…”

Once they left Keiji’s house, they walked down the street together. Not many words were said. Though the two of them did get a lot of stares. Keiji ignored them for the most part. Though he couldn’t shake off the few stares of sexual curiosity he was getting from a few of the mare and dreamy eyes of the fillies. He simply walked faster, wanting to be away from all the watching eyes. Once outside of the town, Keiji lets out a sigh of relief and looks back at Fluttershy.

“What is with some of your females here? They were looking at me like i was a kubrow looks at it’s next meal…”

“I am so sorry about that Keiji...I suppose it is because you are...a completely different being than what they are used to seeing. That can get a mare’s and filly’s attention sometimes.”

He shakes his head and facepalms.

“Great, now I have to worry about having my bones jumped as well? Even more of an incentive to not leave my home unless needed.”

“Oh it’s not that bad. I think it was rather adorable that some of the fillies seem to like you.”

They continued walking on the path that lead into the forest, he looked up at her with an ‘are you serious?’ stare.

“Fluttershy, I am A LOT more older than you think I am. I am perhaps older than you are. By far.”

She blinks a bit at this, then lenas in closely to examine him.

“But...you don’t look a day over sixteen...I find it hard to believe is all…”

“My body stopped ageing when I was seventeen. It is all a part of what I am. I am a Tenno. A warrior of the Void.”

Wait...why am I telling her this…?

He thought to himself.

“Well, it doesn’t matter what you are Keiji. What matters is who you are and how you choose to be. And an important lesson in friendship is to accept that of others. Also...I am curious. What is a kubrow?”

“A kubrow is a canine like creature that has served as a pet and battle companion before, but she passed away a year ago. Not really wanting anymore pets after that. I got too attached to her and then she was taken from me.”

Fluttershy’s eyes watered a little bit when he told her he had lost his furry companion. She didn’t like it when people’s pets passed away, knowing fully well how that feels. She walks up to him and gently places a hand on his shoulder, gently rubbing it.

“I am sorry Keiji, it must have been hard on you to lose her.”

He nodded and just kept on walking.

“It was. I’d rather not look back on it though. Let us go so that your friend won’t meet the same fate.”

Fluttershy frowns as he pulls away from her comforting touch. But follows him.

“You know...you don’t always have to hold in your emotions and hide your distress.”

Keiji stops and turns his head, that icy gaze making her stop dead in her tracks and sending shivers up her spine.

“It’s none of your business. I don’t even know why I told you what I already did.”

He said as they continued their walk into the forest. Fluttershy knew that he wasn’t trying to be rude, but she really wished he’d open up to her. He seems like sweet guy, but he doesn’t trust anypony even in the slightest. Fluttershy and her friends believe that he is just protecting himself though. It is plain as day. They finally find the herbs that Fluttershy needed. But while she was gathering them. A wolf came out of the bushes and started growling at them. Not a timber wolf, but an actual wolf. Fluttershy was about to go over to it, but watched as Keiji approached it first. It growled lowly and got in a pouncing position. But at soon as Keiji locked eyes with her, the wolf lets out a whimper and lowers her body onto the ground. Fluttershy’s eyes widen at this.

What...did he just do to her…?

Keiji kneels down and begins to lightly run his hand up and down the large canine’s back, the wolf’s tail starting to wag happily. She began panting and growling playfully as she pawed at his hand.

“That’s a good girl. Where is your pack sweetheart? Did you get separated?”

Fluttershy was astounded at how...easily he tamed a wild feral wolf. Not even she could do that right away. She watched him with a smile on her face. He seemed so...intune with the canine. He rubbed her belly a few times and scratched under her chin and behind her ears. Fluttershy saw something she never thought she’d get to see on him. A smile. A few howls were heard off in the distance, the wolf’s ears perked up and looked to the direction, then back to Keiji.

“Sounds like they are calling for you. Go be with your family sweetheart.”

He said as he pets her on the head gently. He wolf nuzzles into his hand and places her arms on his shoulders affectionately. She then runs off to reunite with her pack. Keiji stands up and turns to see Fluttershy with her arms crossed under her bust with a smile and an arched brow. Keiji arches one back.

“What?”

“Someone has a way with animals.”

“It’s only with canines. Don’t read too much into it.”

Fluttershy giggles lightly.

“I also got to see you smile. That was a treat in of itself.”

She said as she stood up and picked up the wooden basket she had brought along, now having what she needed.

“Why shouldn’t I be happy when I am around canines? They are loyal creatures. They never turn on those they care for if you treat them with respect and love. Anyways. Did you get what you needed?”

“I sure did. Let’s head back now.”

Keiji nods and they make their way out of the forest. Getting back onto the path that leads them to Ponyville. On the way there, Fluttershy stops at the path that leads to her house.

“I head off this way, keiji. Thank you so much again for going with me.I know much didn’t happen. But having you there made me feel safe.”

“Yeah, sure no problem. Well, see you around Fluttershy.”

He said as he began to walk off. As Fluttershy watched him, she squeezed her basket handle in her hands and fidgets a bit. She then runs to him and calls out his name.

“Keiji wait!”

He stops and turns to her.

“Yeah-?”

He was suddenly cut off by a hug and a gentle kiss to his cheek.Fluttershy quickly pulls back with a massive blush on her face.

“I...really meant it Keiji. Thank you.”

He blinks a few times and just nods

‘Y-yeah…”

He said as he began his way back to his home. By this time the sun was setting and night time had come. He walks up to his door and opens it, and slams it hard behind him as he enters,letting out a frustrated growl.

“This is fucking ridiculous! I let my guard down around these being too easily and I don’t know why!”

He said to himself as he walks into his bedroom and falls face first onto his bed. Gripping the sheets in his hands in annoyance.

“This is pissing me off to no end…”

Before sighing, not knowing what he should do. Should he let them in? Or should he continue to keep that ice wall up and them out?

Act 5: Dreams And Visions

Keiji opens his eyes to find himself in an open field. The wind was flowing gently, the birds chirping, and the warmth of the sun was just right. He looks down and widens his eyes at what he saw. He had...hooves?! He also noticed he had a long black tail with ice blue streaks through them, and a full long mane that dropped down to his lower back black with ice blue streaks as well. And he was covered in fur, dark grey fur. A beautiful voice calls out to him.

“Void, are you alright my sweet?”

Keiji turns around to see a unicorn mare staring at him with beautiful magenta eyes, her fur was a bright white and her mane and tail raven black. She approaches him and lightly reaches up and caresses his cheek.

“You are always in such deep thought. And you always look so serious when doing so. You will grow into an old man quickly if you do not loosen up!”

She said teasingly, leaning up to kiss him lovingly.

Raven Sky...I-”

He places both hands on his head suddenly, a major headache hitting him as the dream shifts around, the field now caught fire and the sounds of battle were heard. Clashing blades, the sounds of battle cries and screams of pain echo through the area. He looks down to see himself dressed in black leather armor and a cloak with a face mask a dagger in one hand and a sword in the other. He turns around and quickly parrys an oncoming attack, instinctively aiming for the unknown warrior’s throat and hitting his mark. Another comes up behind him, in a flash, Keiji vanishes into a dark blue fiery light, reappearing behind the other attacker with a blade straight through the back, piercing through the heart completely.

“What the hell is going on here?!”

He goes quiet after hearing his voice. It was...deeper, more grown up. The dream shifts once more, this time Keiji was back to being a human. He was now in a bright blue void, whispers echoing around him. He looks around, seeing nothing and no one. Until a figure dressed in black armor and a cloak approached him. When he got closer, the figure lowers his hood. What Keiji saw made him fall step back. His head starting to hurt again. He had the very same eyes Keiji did.

“Keiji...you need to wake up. For the good of all Equestria. Your current power will not be enough to save them whenever they need you.”

“Oooh no, I am not going to be some over glorified hero for this world. I made that clear!”

“You won’t have a choice in the end, Keiji, especially when it will involve ponies who will become very dear to you. I know what you are, and you know what I am, but your memory has been blocked out by a powerful magic. Though if you are seeing me now, that means the seal is weakening. And there are enemies out there that will prevent you from recovering those memories. Be on guard Keiji, and keep your friends and loved ones close, you are going to need them.”

“Just in the hell are you…? Why do I feel like I know you inside and out?”

“Because, I am you, Keiji.”

“W-what do you mean you are me…?”

The unicorn that stood before him lifted his hands up, his horn started to glow a dark blue aura, almost like it was...void energy?! Suddenly, these reason why he had been called ‘Void Walker’ the few times he had made sense.

“You..are Void Walker?”

The tall pony simply nodded before answering.

“Yes Keiji, I am your past life. When Faust said that you belonged in our world, she wasn’t lying. She meant every single word of it. Did you ever wonder why you felt so at ease swimming in the void when it took you? Why you were unchanged by it?”

“I...always thought that me and the other kids were just lucky…”

“No, they were yes, but being in the void is second nature to you. Even if it had affected all those children, you would still not have been affected, because of the magic I had possess and had passed on to you through spiritual transference. I..don’t know how my soul found its way to your body outside of my world, but I know it was you it chose, now it is your soul. And my memories are locked away in your mind behind the ones you just recently recovered. Your journey is far from over, Tenno.”

Keiji blinked as he called him ‘Tenno’. That confirmed it.

“So then, What is this ‘grand destiny’ you have planned for me? Some kind of last hope for these ponies or something along those lines?”

“No so much as a last hope per say, but to prevent the last hope from being needed Keiji, you are a warrior that moves quickly in the shadows and the void. I have been watching you through your eyes for a long time. And I know that infested thing you call a ‘warframe’ is part of your power. Though it possesses great power, there will be times when it will stand out too much and will cause you trouble. What was it the Lotus said once? A frontal assault isn’t always the best plan?”. You will need to learn how to strike in the dark with your own hands, Keiji. Like i did. Once you master the art of stealth, not only will you have that, but should things get tough, you always have Frost Prime to call on to handle multiple targets. You will become a valuable asset, Keiji. You will be a hybrid of assassin and warrior. And with Ordis and the ship. You can take down many enemies with assaults from the sky. You are practically a one man army with all you have at your disposal. But you need that final pieces to complete it, you have the mind of a killer, but you do not have the mind of an assassin.”

Keiji listened intently thinking about the words of the pony, which rang true in his mind.

“So in other words, you want me to learn how to become an assassin and not rely on Frost?”

Void nodded in return.

“You possess the skills, Keiji. Now use them and mold yourself into a walking weapon. However, I know the path you took, you chose to consume the kuva. I wouldn’t have done such a thing. That immortality was not yours to take.”

“Don’t criticize me on my choices, Void. I did what was fair with all they took from me. And you know it. Don’t play the old wise man with me. You and I may share the same soul, but we are two totally different beings. I will learn the things you teach me, but I will take my own path. I am not some goody-goody.”

“I don’t care how you do it, Keiji. Just don’t let the darkness prevail and let the evil that wants Equestria succeed in getting it. Please, on behalf of me and Raven Sky. I ask you…”

He said as he gets down on his knees and bows deeply.

“...cut the head off the snakes before they strike, so that peace may remain in this land. Kill them however you want to. But at least they will fall knowing not the identity of their killer. And you will not be the glorified hero that you despise so much. Just an unknown assassin. Even if you do get discovered, you can freeze your enemies to death with a flick of your wrist, or simply just destroy them with your void energy. Nobody will know.”

Void did have a point. Keiji could avoid all the attention, and still take out his misplaced aggression on people that wanted to ruin the peace for this land. A much better cause than fighting for…her.

“Fine, I will honor your request as a Tenno. And a Tenno never goes back on their word.”

Void smile up at Keiji and bows again, this time Raven Sky appearing by his side and doing the same.

“Thank you Keiji. Though you may have stopped aging physically, you have truly grown up. And you are a very very wise man. And quite handsome to I might add”

“I don’t think Void appreciates you hitting on me, Raven Sky…”

They both laugh.

“Why wouldn’t I be? I am still you, Keiji. Anyways, now that I have offered you my warning and advice, let me give you an incentive to do the best you can. This..is what will become of Equestria should you fail, but knowing you, I know you won’t.”

The dream changed up, they were now standing in the sky above a tore and destroyed land, darkness filled the air and despair along with it.

“This will become Equestria without your aid. However this is not it’s definite fate. But this is the most cruel and terrible one that could come to pass without your hand in it. Now that you are in this world however, I cannot see through your eyes anymore. However, the more you learn about becoming an assassin, the more I will teach you what you need to know. When you are ready, i will come to you in your dreams and teach you my skills, along with more control over the void and endure of it’s use. So then, work hard, Keiji. Make the evil beings fear the name of Tenno.”

The dream fades to white.

--Morning--

Leiji opens his eyes quickly and sits up in his bed. He blinks a few times as his head was still hurting from the fragments of memory he had experience that belonged to Void Walker. Were they truly locked away in his mind somewhere? Wanting to break out and show him just what kind of light the unicorn stallion lead? And why would evil beings of this land want to prevent that from happening? Was Void that terrifying? Keiji simply shook his head and got out of bed, walking over to the bathroom and turning on the water of the shower. He steps in and props himself against the wall, letting the water pour over him.

“Geez...I guess I can’t exactly stayed locked up behind my ice wall anymore can I? I am going to have to open up whether I like it or not…”

He said as he pushes himself off the wall after a few minutes. He gets out, gets dressed and makes his way to his front door, inhaling and exhaling before he opens to door.

“Come on Keiji...you can do this.”

He said before opening his door and walks out onto the street. He remembered being told by Twilight that her and the others were going to meet up for breakfast. So he heads to the place they were all meeting at. Eventually he comes up to the restaurant. He sees them sitting around a table outside and hesitantly approaches them. Stopping every few feet and clears his throat at them. They both turn to look at him with gentle smiles and wave.

“Could...I join you all?

They all blink at him a few times, but then nod rapidly. Twilight patting the empty chair next to her

“Of course Keiji! Please do!”

She was happy as she was surprised to see him coming to join them. It made her wonder what exactly was going on, but it didn’t matter now. He must finally be wanting to open up and become a real friend to her and her other friends.

“Iam happy you found us and joined us, Keiji. We were actually talking about you and we're going to come and see you after we ate. But now you can eat with us.”

And thus, a new path opens up for Keiji, the walls of ice around his heart slowly begin to melt. It will be a slow process, but once it happens, he will have not regretted it one bit.

Act 6: Frost Prime Called To Action

It has been a week since Keiji had his dream with his former life and former lover visiting him. Ever since then, his attitude and personality has changed. Could it be because he has a real purpose now?Be that the reason or not, he has taken up to training himself more. Booth mind and body. He can’t always rely on Frost Prime. Luckily the orbiter which Ordis has stationed rotating around this planet, provided him with a simple retractable staff out of the foundry that he was able to use as a training weapon. Today however, an event that was to happen would call upon his abilities. Not only that, but bring him closer to his friends more than ever

Keiji wakes up to find the then sun...and the moon apparently were both out. He blinks a few times and rubs his eyes to makes sure that he wasn’t just still half asleep. But nope, the sun and moon still stayed together in the sky. He gets up and walks over to a window and looks outside of it. What he saw certainly surprised him. Black spiked plants growing all over the place.

“What in the void…?”

He quickly picks his retracted staff up off the table and heads outside, seeing the plants attacking anything and anypony. He knew that Celestia didn’t want him to use Frost. But his was an emergency. And if he was going to make any progress with these being. He needed to act. A dark icy grey light appeared around him and soon, Frost Prime stood in his place.

“Ordis, send the ship! We got some weeds to burn…”

“Ah, Operator! Good to hear from you again! Sending the ship your way.”

Soon enough, the sound of his ship hovering overhead was heard. He wall runs up a building and leaps up inside of his ship, the vessel taking of towards the forest after Keiji had ordered it to do so.

“It seems that the strange vegetation is coming from within the Everfree. Ordis, scan for bio-signatures that match for the pony folk here.”

“Scanning…”

A few moments go by.

“Operator, I have found a group of six bio-signatures. She I deliver you to them?”

“Yes,and quick, Ordis. I have a bad feeling about this.”

--Inside The Everfree--

Twilight and the others walk through the forest, ever on guard of what could be lurking there. So enough though, they hear something roaring overhead, which puts them in a slight panic. But after hearing it, Twilight blinks.

“Wait a minute...I know that sound…”

Sure enough her gaze focused on the ship that was now hovering overhead. And out dropped Keiji, landing in front of them and rising from his descent. He was fully loaded. Carrying his Akstilleto Prime, Soma Prime and Serro. Twilight remembered seeing him emerge from Frost, so she immediately ran up to him and hugged him tightly. Though it wasn’t like hugging Keiji. Frost Prime was made up metal and very cold. Which made her jump back after hugging him. Though Keiji stood there with his arms crossed.

“You didn’t bother to come and get me? I would have came with you all if you’d asked.”

Fluttershy comes up to him, her face hidden behind her mane a bit.

“We...wanted to. But we thought that..well…”

“You thought that I wouldn’t care enough to help?”

Fluttershy shyly nods and hides more. Keiji simply shakes his head.

“Ladies...I am trying my best to become more friendly towards you all. But if you don’t reach out and give me that opportunity. How will that happen?”

“I know Keiji, and it makes me..no us very happy. I am not sure what made you act this way. But whatever happened , happened for a reason.”

Rarity walks up to Keiji and examines his frame closely, she runs her fingers along it’s smooth metal exterior and blinks a few time.

“Darling...how are you able to move this thing with such grace?”

Keiji could only think of one explanation.

“Well, I am not sure what. But there IS something inside the frame that I can take control of. Normally it was a transference signal that was linked with a machine called the ‘simatic link’. But after I gained all my memories back. It’s like I can become one with the frame. Like a possession or take over.”

Twilight’s scientific side was starting to get the best of her. She wanted to know more about this ‘warframe’. And it was driving her crazy that she didn’t know. But that would have to wait. Dash and Pinkie came up next to him and smiled up at him.

“It’s pretty cool of you to had came and found us. I got more respect you ya, Keiji.”

She said after punching him in his arm, though the metallic ‘thunk’ and the redness of her hand indicates that she was hurt more then he was. She did her best to hide the pain, which only made Keiji laugh a little. Pinkie wrapped herself around him despite his sub-zero temperature and hugged him while she slowly turned blue.

“I-i-i always kn-n-new you were a s-s-sweetheart!”

“Alright ladies, enough. We need to get and get to the root of this problem...no pun intended.”

They all giggle anyways. They begin their journey through the Everfree, Keiji taking point with his some prime ready to be fired at a moment’s notice. They all stared curiously at the rifle he held. They have never seen anything like it, and of course, Twilight was the first to ask.

“Keiji, what kind of weapon is that? It looks like it would be ineffective up close.”

“That is because it isn’t for close combat, Twilight. It stops the enemy dead in it’s track from a distance.”

He looks around in the trees, seeing some kind of wild fruit that was hanging from a branch. He lifts his rifle up and squeezes the trigger, the sound and muzzle flash of the gun frightening the mares. They watch the fruit just explode into pieces and fall to the ground...whatever is left of it anyways. Normally, a some prime rifle would be hard to control and fire accurately. But because of the mods he had put on it, it was steady and the fire rate was increased. Twilight was impressed at it power, but of course Fluttershy seemed to shy away from the weapon. Even though she knows he has used it many times.

“My goodness...that is truly a weapon of speed and power. And I must say I love the design of it. So sleek and shiney.”

Said Rarity as she admired the gun, she looked down at his thighs to see that the akstilleto was similar in design, just a smaller and more compact version. They soon get to a river and look for a way to cross it. They were about to leap across a few rocks, only to see Keiji provide a way himself. He slams his hand down on the ground and forms a wide icy bridge for them to cross. Of course Keiji just skates across it like a professional, he has made alternate paths like this before. The other follow him.

“Wow...it must be nice to have the power to control ice right at your fingertips.”

Twilight said as she and the others walked across. Keiji chuckled lightly and nodded to her.

“It’s odd, I am not sure what is in the air here in your world, but it replenishes my energy source overtime steadily. So I have nearly infinite use of Frost’s abilities. But I must still be careful when I use them. If I use them too much in a short time, my energy will be on empty until it builds back up.”

Keiji continues to explain how his frame works to the group. Twilight was cursing herself that she hadn’t brought a pen and notepad with her. They all came to an opening, Keiji stopped and puts a hand out in front of the group. He heard movement and it was close.

“Stay close to me. Dont not move.”

Keiji pushed his hands out quickly as a large icy dome formed around the group, just in time to. That movement was the black plants that were waiting in silence to attack them. Though once they entered Keiji’s snowglobe, they instantly shriveled and withered. They may be deadly plants, but they are still plants, and can’t survive the cold. Once they all drop dead he lowers the dome and looks to Twilight.

“Are we headed the right way so far?”

“I think so, the density of the strange plants is becoming higher and higher.”

Eventually, they get to a cliffside and just on the other side sat the tree of Harmony.

“How are we supposed to get there?!”

Dash asked.

Keiji and the others look to find Pinkie falling down the stairs, tumbling and rolling. Oddly enough when she lands she doesn’t appear to be hurt.

“Take the stairs, silly~!”

She shouted from below with a wide grin. They walk down the stairs and in front of the tree. Keiji looked at it and saw some strange liquid dripping from it. His mind immediately went to his memory of the infested missions he ran back in his world.

“It appears to be...dying.”

Keiji said as he approached it carefully, placing his gun onto his back and pulls out his Serro, the weapon retracting and the electrical current starts to surge through it. As he gets closer, one of the plants quickly make their way towards Keiji. He smacks the tendril out of the air and shoves the sparking end of his weapon down on it until it starts to burn.

“Stupid weeds…”

He said as he examined the tree closely/he noticed that there were six slots in the tree, he remembe4r5s seeing those exact shapes somewhere just recently, but where...where? He turns to look at them and immediately is drawn to their necklaces.

“Twilight, does your crown that you wear and the necklaces they wear hold any significance?”

“I never told you about them? They are the elements of Harmony. We use them to battle the evils of this world with their powerful magic. Why do you ask?”

“Because, look closely at the slots in the tree here. It seems like they stones you possess there belong inside those very slots. Perhaps they are needed to revive this tree?”

Twilight nodded in agreement.

“I was just thinking the same thing actually. You are quite observant, Keiji. I am impressed.”

Twilight said with a flirty smile and bat of her lashes. Though Applejack seemed a little reluctant on giving up the elements.

“Twi...the elements, they are what keep us connected…”

“You are right Applejack, these elements did bring us together, but what will hold us together is our friendship, that will never be taken away. And we will always have Keiji here with us to. If it hadn’t been for him, I fear our journey would have been a bit harder than it was.”

Keiji turned his head away from Twilight, luckily they couldn’t see the blush that was forming across his face.

“I was simply doing what I felt would help. Not that big of a deal.”

Twilight takes all the stones out of the necklaces of her friends and her crown. Levitating them over to herself and rises in the air with her wings. She begins to levitate them over to the slots, another tendril making it’s way over to her to stop her, but Keiji leaps into the air and swats it away with his Serro, pinning that one down until it stops moving.

“Touchy feely bastards aren’t they?”

Once the stones were in the sockets, the tree began to glow. Keiji leaped back from it and shielded his eyes as a large burst of magic filled the entire area and when all the way to Ponyville, destroying every intruding black plant until there was no more, eventually destroying the one that held both Celestia and Luna in them.

“Whoa...trippy rainbow magic.”

Keiji said as he placed his serro back onto his back when it collapsed into it’s sheathed form. Celestia and Luna smiled at the group. Twilight runs over to them and embraces her former mentor

“We know it was hard for you to give up the elements, and it took great courage to relinquish them.”

Celestia said as her and Twilight embraced. Keiji on the other hand stood back to let them all have their moment.

“Ordis, the mission was a success. I am ready for pickup.”

“Understood Operator. I will be their in five minutes tops.”

After he was done speaking with Ordis, he sees the group standing around a lock box that has six keyholes.

“Six locks, six keys.”

Luna said as she observed the box.

“I do not know where they are, but I have a feeling it is a mystery you will not be solving on your own.”

Her attention turns to see Keiji standing away from the group.

“And you. I asked you to not use this thing you call a ‘warframe’...though, I am happy that you did.’

She said with a smile as she walked up to Keiji.

“You selflessly helped Twilight even though this wasn’t your issue. Thank you very much Keiji. My sister and I owe you a great debt.”

“You owe me nothing Princess. My attitude towards you and the rest of your kind has changed. I am no longer hanging onto the past. I am moving forward so that I can get stronger and protect the ponies I have come to call friends.”

“And for that, I am proud of you, Keiji. You have made such progress since you have came. You may not be an element bearer. But I believe these six have grown to love you very much.”

Keiji suddenly felt many arms wrap around him in a group hug, though all of them getting cold from the contact of his frame, but they didn’t care. Keiji looks away for a moment, seeing Void Walker off in the distance with a smile and a nod before he vanishes into thin air.

I am proud of you as well Keiji. Keep up the good work.

Act 7: Invitation To Fluttershy's Cottage

It was another day in Ponyville. Keiji was on his way from the market for getting a few food items. He was deep in thought as he walked. Remembering what had happened a couple days ago. The whole chaotic plants and sun and moon issue. While in his thoughts, a grey mare with a blonde mane crashes into him in mid flight. He falls back with her landing on top of him and smothers him with her breasts. The mare rubs her head in pain, not realizing she had landed on the person she had mail for.. Keiji reaches up and unintentionally squeezes one of her breasts, just trying to get her off of him so he could breathe. The mare lets out a cute moan but quickly scrambles off of Keiji. He sits up and takes in a deep breath. He looks over to find Derpy. He shakes his head and stands up, gathering all of his items back.

“Derpy...you need to be more careful. This is the sixth time you have ran into me this month. And while I find your chest rather nice and soft, the impact kind of leaves me sore.”

She blushes hard and rubs the back of her head, lowering her gaze and ear. Though Keiji walks up to her and offers her his free hand to help her up. She looks up at him to see a smile on his face. She takes his hand and he pulls her up to her hooves.

“Don’t worry, I am not angry with you. Though if you are trying to tell me something a bit more intimate by smothering me with your breasts, don’t hold back.”

She blushes even harder and shakes her head rapidly. Then she blinks a few times and quickly reaches into her bag and offers him a letter with a sweet smile on her face. He takes it and slides it into the bag that he held his items in. He reaches up and pet’s her on the head.

“Thanks Derpy. Be careful out there.”

She nods happily and takes off heading to her next stop. Keiji makes his way home, wondering what this letter could hold for him. He makes it inside his home, and soon enough he pulls out the letter and opens it and begins to read it.

Dear Keiji,

    How are you today? I am doing alright. I haven't seen you in the past couple of days. So..um...I was wondering you you would like to come over today. If you aren't busy that is. I just...want to spend a bit of time with you is all. I really enjoyed our last outing together. And I really do hope you come by today. I will put on some tea around noon, hoping to see you then.

Keiji lowers the letter and sets it on the table. He wasn’t sure, but he felt that Fluttershy had a greater fondness of him than the others. Not that he had a problem with that. He thought she was sweet, and the fact that she is actually inviting him to her home meant something right? Well, nonetheless he wasn’t going to turn down her offer. For some reason, he would just feel completely awful if he left her all alone, expecting him to come. Keiji looks up at the clock and sees he has about thirty minutes. More than enough time to make it to her home on time. Should he make something to take over? Does he have that kind of time? He realized he is already wasting time with these question and hauls into the kitchen, quickly deciding on...peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut up into triangles.

“I need to expand my food ideas…”

He said to himself before getting to work on preparing a few sandwiches and cutting them up. Four sandwiches cut up into triangles makes eight halves...good enough! He packs them into a small container and runs out the door. He had fifteen minutes left, he best run most of the way there if he was to make it on time.

--Fluttershy’s Cottage--

The pegasus mare paced around her living room floor, she had no idea why she was so nervous about him coming. Her heart was beating heavily and her face was blushing. Her pet Angel just sat there with his arms crossed, wondering why she was making a big deal out of a friendly visit. Little did the little bunny know that Fluttershy was struggling with more than just having him over for a friendly visit. Fluttershy did indeed have a thing for the tenno. And it was driving her crazy.

“Oooh dear...I hope the tea will be perfect! And i hope the cottage is clean enough! Oooh...am I forgetting anything else?!”

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Which made her give an adorable little scream as she nearly stumbled onto the floor. Keiji heard this and arched a brow as he stood at the door.

“C-coming!”

Shouted Fluttershy as she runs over to the door, opening it to see Keiji standing there, and even a few minutes early.

“You..actually came…”

Keiji looked her up and down. She looked like she was comfortable to be sure. A forest green sweater dress that hugged her hips and thighs nicely and of course forest green knee high stripe socks that looked simply adorable on her. He smiles lightly as he looks back up to ehr.

“Come on now Shy. I wouldn’t leave you hanging like that.”

She could only turn away from him and smile shyly at him, fidgeting with the sleeves of her dress.

“Well, come on in...please make yourself at home. The tea should be just about done.”

She said as she steps aside. Keiji lifted up a container in front of her.

“I brought some sandwiches to go with the teas.”

She smiles and claps her hands together.

“Oooh good! Please take them to the living room table. And make yourself comfortable.”

He nods and takes them to the living room, he sees the table was low to the ground and had pillows on each side, this was no issue for him. He sets the container on the table, then going to one of the pillows and sits on one kamiza style. Force of habit. He closes his eyes and goes into meditation since the room was so quiet. Though shortly his meditation was interrupted by the small foot of angel kicking at his leg. Keiji looks down to see him staring up at him with a glare and arms crossed. Keiji just raised a brow at the little creature.

“What?”

The bunny simply have him the ‘I am watching you’ hand gesture. Then hops away as Fluttershy enters the room with the tea tray. She sets it down next to the sandwiches and plops down onto the pillow across from him, making a light ‘pomf’ sound when her rear hits the pillow. She leans over and takes hold of one of the cups and saucers and sets it in front of him. He caught the scent of the tea she had brewed, a smile forming across his face.

“You brewed green tea? You certainly know my weakness, Shy.”

She blushes with a smile, looking away from him for a second.

“I-it’s something new I am trying. If you smell carefully, I added a bit of lemon and honey…”

He brings to cup up to his nose and takes in a long whiff of it. It smelled wonderful, absolutely wonderful. He then takes a small sip of the tea and lets it roll around on his tongue before swallowing it. Fluttershy seemed very nervous that he was taking his time with it, continuing to fidget with her until he sat the cup back down.

“Well? What do you think?”

She asked half looking away from him. Keiji simply bowed slightly in his position.

“An excellent brew, Fluttershy. I am very impressed.”

He said with a smile as he came up from his bow. Fluttershy’s heart was ready to explode from her chest after he complimented her tea. She clasps her hands together and her eyes sparkle with happiness.

“Th-thank you, Keiji...I was so nervous for you to try it… I will be happy to make some every time you come over...if you want that is.”

Keiji chuckles and puts a hand up.

“It won’t be necessary every time. I don’t want you to drop everything just to worry about me.”

He is so sweet...and so considerate. I never would have expected this from him when he first came here…

“Also, thank you for having me here,Shy. To be honest I was a little nervous coming here myself. I didn’t think I was on friendly enough terms with you to be invited over.”

Fluttershy blinked a few times when she heard him say that, quite surprised given what he had helped them do just a couple days ago.

“You really still think that, Keiji? I want you to know,the girls and I don’t think that of you. You came to our aid even when we didn’t ask of you. If that hasn’t improved our friendships then i don’t know what will.”

“Well, it’s not that I believe they haven’t improved. I just thought that one good deed wasn’t enough is all. Then again that’s how it worked back home”

“Well, you are in your world anymore Keiji. You aren’t in a world full of being who would easily turn around and stab you in the back. The others and I would never dare do that to you. And we know that you would never turn on us either.”

“You are right Fluttershy, I would never turn on you all. After all I have been given a home here. Would be pretty ungrateful of me if i did.”

“Well, there you go Keiji. That should give you reassurance.”

He smiled to her and nodded, reaching over the table and opening the contain to reveal his freshly made sandwiches.

“Please,help yourself, Shy.”

She leans over to look at them, peanut butter and jelly...with the crust cut off?! Little did he know that is how Fluttershy enjoyed her sandwiches the most. She takes one eagerly and gently takes a bit, making and adorable ‘nom’ sound when she did. She sways her tail happily as she swallows it down.

“Wonderfully made,Keiji. You even cut the crust off. I...really like them this way.”

He smiled lightly and was happy to see her enjoy the sandwiches he brough. One thing he noticed is that she had quite and appetite for a mare. She was burning through them like no one’s business. Keiji couldn’t help but laugh.

“Shy, slow down, they aren’t going anywhere.”

She blushed a bit and nodded, slowing down ehr consumption of the triangle sandwiches. Keiji went ahead and grabbed one before she could demolish them all. He was just happy to see her enjoying herself. Over the course of the time he was at her cottage, they talked for a very long time. Keiji telling her all the battles he has been through and what a Tenno really is.

“So...you fought and killed to gain money and power in order to survive? That seems pretty cruel…”

“That was how the world was back where I am from, Shy. I killed to survive. I killed other beings, creatures, anything that opposed me. It had to be done. I know you hate violence and loss of life. But most of the time...it is necessary to save yourself. There is hardly ever an easy way out of dangerous situations.”

“I know what you had to go through Keiji and I understand. It’s just….I still hate it all.”

“I know you do, Shy. But now that I am here. I may not have to do what I did as much anymore. I hope you take comfort in that at least.”

He didn’t have the heart to tell her what his former life had asked him to do. It was better she not know about it. Keiji suddenly smelled a familiar scent..rain. He looks outside the window to see the sky hard darkened considerably. Right then it began to pour down hard. He gets to his feet and walks over to the window.

“Well, good thing I can just get Frost. I can walk home then.”

“A-actually I wouldn’t mind if you stayed…”

A loud clap of thunder sounds, Fluttershy lets out a light frightened scream and covers her ears and shuts her eyes tight. Keiji turning to look at her with an arched brow.

“Shy...are you alright?”

“Y-yeah I am fi-..”

Another loud crack of thunder followed by lightning. She lets out a louder squeal this time. She starts shaking in fear and looks up at Keiji with watery eyes. At this mere sight, Keiji felt his heart sink low. He walks up to her and places an arms around her shoulder after kneeling beside her.

“You don’t like thunder huh?”

Once he got closer to her, she pounced onto him and held onto him for dear life. Continuing to shake against him like a leaf, burying her face into his chest.

“I don’t like it at all...always been afraid of it since I was a filly...please don’t leave me alone Keiji…”

He could hear it in her voice, she was genuinely afraid. He blinks a few times.

“H-how long is this weather supposed to last?”

They said it was supposed to last into the night but wasn’t supposed to start till later…”

She said as she held onto him tightly, pressing her soft and warm form against him. Even wrapping her legs around him. Keiji gulped slightly as she did this, his heart beating heavily in his chest as such a beautiful mare was so close to him, clinging to him for her life.

“Shy...it’s alright. If you need me to stay over, I wouldn’t want you to be afraid all night.”

She doesn’t say a word, only clings to him tighter and nods against his chest.

“Alright...come on. Off the floor now. Let’s at least get over to the couch. Here, I will go ahead and start a fire for you. But you are gonna have to let me go first…”

She does so very reluctantly and walks over to the couch, grabbing one of the pillows and hugs it close to her body. He gets the fire going and walks over to Fluttershy and sits beside her. The mare immediately crawls into his lap and wraps her arms around him, nuzzling into his neck.

“Th-thank you Keiji...I am sorry about this. I am sure this is the last thing you wanted to worry about…”

“Hey come on Shy. It’s not that. I just didn’t expect you to cling to me is all.”

“Well...normally i just curl up under my cover on my bed and squeeze a pillow. But I feel safe when someone else is here with me…especially since you are here now…”

She couldn’t help but blush when she said that, only scooting closer to him, practically wrapping herself around him. She’d squeeze him and shake a little every time the thunder came, her ears pinned to her head. They stayed like that for a good couple hours.Keiji would reach up and hesitantly run his fingers through her mane as a way to comfort her. All while looking outside to see if the rain was letting up, which it was not.

She is so beautiful. So sweet. Why hasn’t she found herself a stallion? You think the whole lot of them in town would be lining up to have her all to themselves. Especially with how eager she is to please.

He thought to himself before running his fingers through her mane again. He noticed then that she was breathing lightly, he looked down to see her eyes had closed and her grip had loosened around him.

Ah, she must have fallen asleep. Maybe I can…

He lifts her up in his arms and cradles her closely to his body. He may be smaller than she was, but she was easy to carry nonetheless. He walks her up to her room and carefully lowers her into her bed without waking her up, though he finally has he down, she isn’t letting him go. The more he tried to struggle, the more she held on. She began to sniffle and cry in her sleep.

“Please...don’t leave me...alone Keiji...please…”

Keiji felt the familiar small foot of angel kicking at his ankle, looking up at him.

“I’m not going to try anything, but she won’t let go…”

Angel shook his head and patted him on the leg as if saying ‘Stay with her, she needs you.’. He blinks and looks over at her. He sighs quietly and slides in carefully next to her. Instantly she presses herself against him again and wraps her arms and legs around him. Feeling those soft large breasts against his arms makes him tense up a bit, but he shakes it off and wraps a comforting arm around her.

“I am here, Shy.I am not going anywhere…” he said as he slowly closes his eyes, drifting off into his own slumber.

Act 8: A Visit To The Crystal Empire

Keiji was fast asleep in his home, nested into his pillow and blankets rather comfortably when a rather loud knocking was heard at his door. His eyes shoot open and he falls out of his bed, letting out an annoyed groan afterwards.

“Keeiijiiii, wake up! We are heading to the Crystal Empire today! You promised you’d go with us!”

Shouted Twilight outside of his door. After a few minutes the door slowly opens with him peeking out. Seeing the sun was barely rising.

“Seriously Twi? THIS early in the morning?”

“Yes! Now hurry up and get ready, our train leaves in an hour!”

“Ugh...fine. But I am going back to sleep once we get on the train…”

He said before closing the door. He hops into the shower and gets cleaned up, not even putting his hair in the usual style he used to. He has started to let it all grow out. Hey, why not, right? He just wore it either all slicked back or parted in the middle. Once he got dressed, he transfers into Frost Prime and walks out the door.

“Ordis, whenever the train leaves, be sure to place the orbiter over the destination. You never know when we might need my ship’s firepower.”

“Of course Operator. I am just glad we will get to see more of this land and--BURN IT ALL TO THE GROUND-D-D--...witness its beauties and wonders.”

“....Seriously Ordis, I know you have violent tendencies. But if Twilight and the others heard you speaking like that…”

“Not to worry, Operator! It’s not like they can hear outside of your warframe, they would have to be on the orbiter as well!”

I wouldn’t say they won’t find a way though...magic is a thing here. As Twilight and every other unicorn I have come into contact with has shown me.”

Their conversation was cut short as he was grabbed by the hand by Twilight..

“Come on, Keiji! Let’s go!”

“Calm down Twi! we still have thirty minutes! Why are you in such a rush?!”

He asked as he nearly stumbled over his own feet from being dragged.

“I am excited to see my sister in law and I am also excited for you to meet her! She will be so excited to meet you. I have been telling her and my brother about you. And how you help me and my friends save the tree of harmony.”

Keiji sighs, luckily she couldn’t see him roll his eyes.

“Great,more ponies I don’t know…”

They reach the station and get on the train. Ponies stared at the walking metallic thing that walked passed them in concern or interest, but his group seemed to get their own car anyways so it wasn’t going to be an issue. The one who was happy to see him the most of course was Fluttershy, who hurried to his side. Once settled in, he lowers himself into a kamiza position and slowly lifts out of his frame, afterwhich he sat on the seat next to his frame, Fluttershy sitting across from him.

“You are going to love the Crystal Empire, Keiji. It is a beautiful kingdom that is made entirely out of crystal, even the ponies there shine like crystals.”

Keiji shakes his head.

“Tch, I have dealt with beings who were shiney. They are all stuck up and believe everything is rightfully theirs to?”

Fluttershy blinks a few times before shaking her head.

“Well...no, they are just like any other pony.”

“Oh, so they aren’t like the Orokin then? Good.”

Both Keiji and Fluttershy look down to see Twilight staring at Frost Prime with curiosity. Poking and prodding at the lifeless form. Taking into account that it wasn’t cold at the moment like it was last time.

“Keiji, you said there is something inside of this. And that you can take control of it by a possession technique called ‘transference’. That is some powerful magic if you can do that…”

She said as she began studying anything she could about the warframe.

“Well Twi, I wouldn’t call it magic...in fact I don’t know what to call it. It’’’just an ability I possess. I suppose you would have to understand the void in order to understand the use of my abilities.”

Rarity takes a seat beside Twilight and examines the clothes that Keiji wore and then what was on Frost, seeing the similarities. Now that she had gotten used to being around both Keiji and this thing. She could see why he felt so close to the warframe.They even shared the same sigil on their chests. Those also sparking more question from Twilight.

“Is there any particular meaning to these markings that both of you wear?”

Keiji smiles widely and nods.

These are trophies in a way. There is an assassin in my world named Stalker. When we killed off important enemies, they would often send him our way to try and kill us. But I took him down when he tried to do so and got this. He got so close to killing me at one point when I was awakened. But with Frost by my side, I made it back to my ship and into the transference device known as the ‘simatic link’ which i no longer need.”

Even Rainbow Dash and the others gathered around to here his story of how he was awakened. He told them about Hunhow the sentient and how he worked with Stalker to try and find not only him, but the other Tenno as well to kill them as they slept. He even told them that after all that. He was forced to dig into his locked memories that had been kept away from him in order to save his life from the Grineer Queens. It was a rather exciting story for the six mares.Dash was especially pumped when she learned of his awesome ass kicking abilities. The story lasted until they got to the empire.

“Crystal Empire!”

Shouted the conductor. Shouted. Keiji stands up from his seat and disappears back into Frost. Standing back up from his kamiza position as the other gather the things they brought. They walk out of the train. They were greeting by...guard. Lots of guards. And in the middle was Princess Cadence and Shining Armor. Cadence, Keiji remembered seeing the first day he came. Shining was a new one to him. The guards kept their hand on their weapons and eyes on him mostly. Keiji could feel their slight hostility. His hands twitching slightly as they lay near his akstilletos. Though, Twilight reaches up and pats him on the arm gently to reassure him that no harm would come to him.

“Twily, You made it!”

Exclaimed her brother. Cadence making her way over to Twilight and they do their little dance they did ever since she foalsat Twilight, then hugged. Once that was done and all the greetings were out of the way, Cadence turns and looks up at Keiji, her eyes widening in surprise.

“I saw you...back at Twilight’s coronation. You are Keiji?”

“That I am, Princess.”

She looks over to Twilight and back at him, still in shock.

“I..am sorry Keiji..the way she described you. I was expecting somepony else.”

Keiji laughed lightly and stepped out of Frost once more. This startled her and the guards a bit as they reached for their weapons. Keiji looks around at all them, Cadence quickly calls them off.

“Stop! He isn’t going to harm anyone…”

She then looks back to him, looking him up and down. This isn’t what she was expecting still, but Twilight was right. He was young in appearance, but those eyes, not only did they send shivers down her spine, they showed her years and years of experience. She also saw death and destruction behind them as well. But also something she didn’t expect. Warmth and kindness. Surely the influence of Twilight and her friends.

“I am Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, but I prefer Cadence. It is good to finally meet the real you, Keiji.”

She said as she extended a hand to him. Keiji slowly lifted his hand and took hers into it, giving her a firm handshake. Afterwhich Shining stepped in and shook his hand as well.

“I am Shining Armor, Twilight’s big brother. She has told us a lot about you. And how you have helped her and her friends. Thank you for looking out for her and them as well. She also tells me you are a skilled fighter. I would love to see what you are capable of.”

Keiji steps back away from them back into Frost Prime. It surprises them again when they see that.

“How in Equestria do you…?”

Keiji chuckled lightly.

“I would have to sit you down if you wanted to know in detail.”

“Well, after you have gotten settled, I would like for you to meet me in front of the castle Keiji. I want to see why my sister reveres your skills so highly.”

Keiji looks over at Twilight who was smiling a bit nervously.

“Twi...do you not understand this issues you may have just caused?”

Leiji asked before placing a hand to his frames...wherever the forehead would be.

“I..just wanted to tell them about your incredible abilities.”

He shakes his head.

“You make it sound like I am some overpowered superhero or something. Without Frost, I can;t do the things you have seen me do...yet anyways.”

“Oooh mind if I come watch?! Would love to see how Keiji handles against a few guards! Bet he knocks them right on their tails!”

Dash said with a fist pump, an excited smile on her face.

“Not you to Dash...come on…”

--Later--

Keiji was down the stairs of the castle. Seeing Shining waiting for him below.

“Ah good, you came. Walk with me Keiji.”

They started walking, Shining got a serious look on his face.

“Alright. I want to know exactly what you are. You appear as a young being, but can...merge yourself into this metal...thing. That apparently gives you power and agility. Twilight was very thorough in her letters.”

“You are Twilight’s brother. So if she is okay with you, I suppose I can tell you a few things…”

They arrive at the training grounds, Shining in absolute shock at what he had just heard, same thing he told Twilight and the others..

“Seems like you have been through a lot. Having your childhood taken from you like that. I..feel for you Keiji.”

“It’s all in the past. I made a promise to never live on it again. Now then. You wanted to see what I can do?”

“Ah yes. Twilight told me you have some very dangerous weapons when at range. I have two of my strongest huard here ready to-”

Keiji puts a hand up.

“If you mean my guns, I will not shoot live targets unless it is real danger. I suggest you point me to objects that aren’t living. For their sake.”

“Are they that powerful…?”

Asked Shining hesitantly.

Keiji draws his Soma Prime and nods.

“These weapons are designed to kill on contact.”

Shining nods and points to a few armored dummies.

"Time to show you what I mean then."

He said as he lifted his gun up and started spraying it’s bullets with deadly accuracy.. After using a few rounds on the dummies. And then holsters his Some and pulls out his Akstilletos. He gets a running start and lowers down into a slide, he squeezes the triggers on both gun and begins another spray of bullets on the dummies. Jumping up and performing gun kata on them now. After which he holstered them back on his thighs and draws his Serro, the weapon extending to it’s full self. He approaches the guards slowly

“I would suggest you get two more here if you want to see my true skills of melee combat.”

And so Shining did just that. Keiji makes sure the electrical current on his weapon was disabled. He didn’t want to seriously hurt any of them after all. They all charged at him at once, the first came into contact with an overhead swing with his blade, which Keiji easily blocked with the end of is weapon and twirled it around, yanking the blade out of his hand and slamming the weapon’s head into the side of the guard afterwards, sending him to the ground. The second one came at him full force, charging into him shoulder first, he knocks Keiji back a few feet, but he quickly recovers with a backflip,landing on his feet and Jumps forward. Flying through the air and over the guard, locki.ng his weapon under the guard’s chin as he does and flips in the air again, sending the guard flying across the training grounds. He faces the other two who both came at him at once. He chuckles lightly

“Careful…”

He said before slamming his hand on the ground, covering the entire area in ice.

“It’s a little icy…”

He said as he began to skate across the thick layer of ice he had created. Twirling his weapon about as he glides over to them. They start to panic and try there best to run off the ice without falling, but he slides right between them and knocks them both off their feet with no problem.. Holding his weapon with two hands like a hockey stick, he continues to skate across the ice.

“Who was that for a demonstration?”

He looked over to see not one a wide eyed Shining, but a small crowd with the same expression that and gathered to watch him, Dash and Twilight being in that group.

“What...how...how did you even conjure up that ice without a spell?!”

“I just did it. Always been able to.”

Keiji’s visit to this place was going to get more interesting after this display. Both in a bad and good way.

Act 9: Your New Training Begins, Tenno

Keiji opens his eyes to find himself lying on his back in a grey foggy void, which soon changed itself into a an opened area with a waterfall, grassy ground and a large waterfall. He slowly sits up and stands to his feet, looking around at his new surroundings. The place seemed so...familiar to him, yet it also felt quite new. He walks around a few more moment until Void Walker comes out of the fog and smiles to Keiji.

“You certainly are enjoying showing off your abilities to the crystal royal guard.”

He said as he removed his hood from his head with a grin.

“Yeah, so? They wanted a sample, so I showed them what I could do.”

“Yeah well, they are going to be even more impressed with you after I am done with you tonight. Your new training for your physical form begins now, Tenno. And the first thing I will be teaching you, is how to get around like you do as if you were Frost himself. I am going to train you in the art of parkour and focusing your energy to glide and leap long distances and scale buildings and other structures.”

Keiji looked at Void in confusion.

“But...I am asleep right now. How would I learn from what I do here? And take it out into the real world?”

“Just trust me, Keiji.You will see what I mean once you awaken from your slumber in the morning. Now then. Your dream state will act as a simulator. Just like your rank mastery tests. You are going to fail, there is no doubt, but after tonight, It will be second nature to you. Are you ready to begin?”

Keiji was no stranger to failure, and he was too stubborn to give up until he was dead tired. He nodded to Void firmly.

“I am ready.”

“Very well, we begin….now.”

And so the training began. Keiji did indeed fail many time from crawling up cliffsides and leaping over obstacles and leaping over gaps. Though he kept on trying and trying. Not only was this to train him to simply let go and let the air carry him, but it prepared him mentally as well for when he had to make that decision to jump to get away from his enemies. To maneuver without second thoughts of fear of wondering if he will make it. Eventually after what had felt like an eternity had passed, he was doing it just like Void said it would feel. Second nature. Void smiles to Keiji as he walks up, nodding in approval.

“Well done, Keiji. Once you wake up, you will be just as capable out there as in here. Now, I must leave for the night. I am afraid that our beautiful Princess of the Night is on her way here to check on you. And the last thing she needs to see is my face.”

Keiji looks up at Void with an arched brow.

“How come?”

“Let’s just say….me and her have quite the history.”

With that, he disappears into the mist once more, leaving Keiji with many thoughts running through his head. After a few moments, Luna did indeed make her way into his dream and to him. She looks around for a moment, then looks at Keiji.

“Keiji...I heard you speaking with someone else. Where did they goes?”

“You just missed him, Princess. He is my new mentor.”

“Your...new mentor?”

Keiji nodded and walked over to a nearby rock, sitting on it and looks up at the tall alicorn.

“Mhmm...he is my last life apparently.”

“And did he give you a name?”

“For his sake and mine, I believe I will keep that name anonymous for now. So what has brought you to my dream? I learned from the others that you have this great power to entire one’s dream state.”

Luna gives this cute little pouty face as he wouldn’t tell her his visitor’s name. Keiji couldn’t help but find the co-ruler rather adorable. He watches her approach and sit beside him.

“I am just checking in on you is all. How are you liking the Crystal Empire so far?”

“It truly is a sight to behold. Reminds me a little too much of the Orokin though….they loved their shiny golden fixtures just as much as these ponies love their crystal. But at least they are the friendly sorts.”

Luna nodded and looked over to him.

“Keiji. I know that you have a history with the metal being that you call ‘Frost’. And the technology you possess is something we have never truly seen before. But, you appear so young. How is it that you know how to operate these things?”

He looks over to Luna and sighs.

:I never told you and your sister what I truly am?”

Luna shakes her head, a curious gaze was now apparent on her face. He stands up and walks away a bit. Should he tell her? What would happen if he did? Would he be considered more of a threat? He squeezes his hands into fists. Luna saw this, feeling that he may be afraid to reveal what he is to her. She gets up and walks over to him, gently placing a hand on his shoulder.

“Don’t be afraid, Keiji. What you will tell me will not make me think any different of you. And I know that my sister will have the same thoughts.”

He thinks on it for a few more moments, then nods.

“Alright Princess. I remember you telling me what I am, but not what it means. I am a Tenno. I say ‘a’ because I am not the only one of my kind. I don’t remember how long it was ago...but back before my body stopped aging, I was simply a regular human child. We were on a ship called the ‘ten-zero’. Where the name ‘Tenno’ originated I believe.Life was alright for the most part.That is...until there was an accident…”

Luna could see he was struggling to remember the details, as he had just acquired these memories himself.

“The ship started malfunctioning...we were stuck drifting in space. The biomes were sabotaged, food stocks dwindled...things were getting bad. I remember seeing my father slowly losing his mind. And the words he said. “Something’s out there kiddo...watching us.”. As if that wasn’t enough, the ship drifted into the void. The rest of the crew aboard the ship went mad and were turned by the void itself. But the other children and I...it changed us in a different way. We felt at ease swimming through the void, as if we belonged there. What the void did to us...it gave us inexplicable powers and abilities. One know of of which I can use to become one with my frame, but before that, I was only able to connect from something called a ‘simatic link’. I’d rather not go into details of what happened between me and the Orokin. But it was bad…”

Luna nodded in understanding.

“So..what happened after that…?”

“Well, we were put into a long slumber in pods. All I remember was...endless sleeping. Until I was dreaming a strange dream...I heard the lotus. Someone I had never known before. And suddenly, I was looking through the visual of my frame, Frost Prime. After all the years of fighting enemy after enemy. I was awakened. And now, here I am. In this world trying to figure things out. Trying to find the reason why your creator brought me here.”

Luna nodded to him again. She approaches him and lightly rubs his shoulder again.

“I can only imagine the things you have gone through, Keiji. I want you to know though. That what these events made you are all in your past now. You are in this world. I am not sure why Faust has brought you to us. She only explained to my sister and I through a dream that you would be coming here.”

She gently wraps him into a hug.

“But I know this much. You are here to help us in some way...and we are more than happy to have you here.”

She then released him.

“I hope to see you again soon, Keiji. Sleep well.”

She then disappears from his dream.

--Morning--

Keiji opens his eyes slowly, the morning sun shining in on his body as he slowly sits up, his blanket falling off his half naked form. One thing he noticed right away though, was that his arms and legs flashed his energy color before going back to normal. He felt...great. Like he could run a marathon or something of that nature. He gets out the bed and heads to the bathroom, feeling like he needed a good shower.

“So something must have happened at least. That strange flash along my limbs…”

He said as he stepped into the shower and began to wash and scrub his body, Once that was done, he got dressed and made his way out of his room, as did all the others.

“Ah, good morning, darling. Did you sleep well?”

Rarity asked with a melodic tone.

“Yeah...I slept pretty well. I feel great.”

Twilight and Dash come up beside him.

“Wow, the way you handled those guards yesterday was awesome! You like BAM and WAM!

“And the way you just conjured that ice out of nowhere...without any magic! I still gotta know how you did that!”

He then sees Fluttershy come out of her room as well. He smiles to her gently and waves. She offers a smile back and walks over to the group.

“Morning Shy. You look well rested.”

“Oooh yes...I had the most wonderful dream last night.”

“Oh, what about?”

She was about to talk when a large blush comes across her cheeks. This mad Keiji tilt his head in curiosity. But of course Pinkie jumps in with Applejack.

“My dream was about cake and ice cream! Lots of it!”

Keiji laughs lightly.

“And let me guess...parties to?”

She lets out a big gasp.

“How did you know?! Ooooh, he is gooooooood…”

“Well, I don’t know about all of you, but I...am...starving…”

They get to the stairs, he looks over the railing. He spots banner hanging on the sides of walls that were outside of the stairs. He gets an idea.

“Hmmmm…”

“Keiji..are you alright?”

Twilight asked as she looked over at him.

Well...here goes nothing.

They watch him with arched brows as he backs up. They eyes widen in shock as they see him run and jump on the railing. He leaps off and soars through the air

“Keiji, no!!!” Shouted Fluttershy as she makes her way to the railing, but she was too late. He was already half way from the railing and his target. He latches onto the banner and begins to slide down. He then holds out his hand and leaps again, catching the other banner and sliding down thatone. Following the path he had laid out, he makes it to the ground safe and sound. One thing that his audience notices, is that his arms and legs were glowing and energy flowed behind him in his movements. Once on the ground, he looks down at his hands and feet, a grin on his face as he closes his hands into fists.

“That. Was. Amazing!”

He exclaimed as he hopped around, fist pumping once after he was done. Dash was the first to meet him along with Fluttershy who looked like she was about to cry.

“What the heck was that?! I mean, that was cool and all...but really?!”

Fluttershy tackled him and wrapped her arms around him tightly, nuzzling into his chuckle, pressing tightly against him.

“What were you thinking?! I was so so scared!”

She said between sobs, the waterworks happened.

“I knew what I was doing...come on Shy…”

He looks up at the others who joined them below.

“I will...explain things over breakfast.”

He said as he tried to pry Fluttershy off him, but she wasn’t budging.

Act 10: A Picnic With Fluttershy

A couple days after their visit from the Crystal Empire, Keiji and his friends all returned home and went back to their daily lives.He was back in his home, lazing on the couch while reading a book when he heard the familiar ‘thud’ of somepony hitting his door. He can’t help but laugh at her misfortune, knowing exactly how it is.

“That poor mare is going to get a bad concussion one day…”

He gets up and walks over to the door, opening it to find the gray mailmare sitting on the ground and rubbing her head. He offers a hand to her, she looks up at him with a sheepish grin and takes his hand.

“You need to be careful. One day you are going to get really hurt doing that.”

He said as he pulled her back to her hooves. She nods with a smile and reaches into her satchel, she pulls out a letter for him and holds it out to him. He takes it and nods to her.

“Try not to run into anymore buildings. The last thing I need is for my favorite mailmare to get hurt.”

She blushes lightly, then flies off, waving bye to him. He walks into his home and closes the door behind him, tearing open the letter and reading it.

Dear Keiji,

How are you this wonderful day? I was thinking...if you want to that is, we should get together for a picnic today. The breeze is nice and cool, and I...certainly wouldn’t mind your company. I will be at my home for the day. It...would make me very happy to spend time with you. Just the two of us.

Fluttershy

Keiji did indeed notice over time, that he and Fluttershy have been growing closer and closer. She seemed especially upset when he tested out his new ability that morning in the Crystal Empire.

“Dis she thinks I was going to hurt myself? It took her five minutes to finally let go of me after what I did. Ah well, she is a sweet mare. And I do enjoy my time with her. And a picnic does sound pretty good.”

He said as he placed the letter on the counter. He gets dressed in his usual suit and makes his way out of his house, locking the door when he leaves. He makes his way down the street and on the path to Fluttershy’s home.

Maybe I should have made something to go along with the picnic..then again I am not much of a professional cook.

He sighed to himself and just continued on, feeling like a bit of a jerk now that he was already halfway there and emptied handed. He eventually makes his way to her home and knocks on the door. He waits, finally hearing slightly hurried hooves before the door opens, revealing the shy stare of the mare before it widens into a happy gaze. She swings open the door and embraces him into a warm hug, nuzzling into him.

“Oooh, you got my letter!”

He has gotten used to her affections. And to be honest he was really liking them. He wraps his own arms around her in return.

“Of course Shy. I would never turn down an opportunity to spend time with you. But I really wish I had brought something along with me for the picnic…”

She shakes her head after releasing him, welcoming him into her home once more.

“It’s quite alright, Keiji. I have everything we will need.”

She said reassuringly

“ Let just go and put everything together. Please, make yourself at home.”

Keiji reached out a bit.

“You..don’t need my help with anything?”

She shakes her head, giving him a gentle smile again.

“Nono, just get comfortable. I won’t be long.”

He nods and walks over to the couch and sits down, leaning back against it. He heard her starting to hum to herself. It was a song called ‘A True True Friend’. He had heard her hum it a few times. Her voice always made him feel calm and relaxed, like a soothing sleep aid that worked wonders. He even caught himself starting to doze off from the silky sound in his ears. He also caught her giggling to herself. She seemed so so happy. He could hear her whispering to herself, but he couldn’t make out the words. He soon drifted off into a light mode of sleep from her beautiful voice. Only to be woken up by a gentle hand on his shoulder.

“Are you alright, Keiji?”

She asked with light concern.He nods and rubs his eyes as he sits up.

“Yeah, I am good Shy. You have such a lovely voice when you sing or hum apparently. I dozed right off.”

A blush forms over the mare’s cheeks as he complimented on the beauty of her voice. She squeezed the handle of the basket she was carrying.

“Oh..thank you for saying so, Keiji..I had not realized I could be heard…”

“It was really nice Shy...it reminded me of someone who used to sing to the other children and I a long, long time ago. Her name was Margulis. She was kind of like our adoptive mother in a way.”

“She must have really cared for you all…”

Fluttershy said as they began walking to the door and making their way out. She closes the door behind them after they leave and walks closely to Keiji with the basket resting in front of her/

“Yeah, she did. She saw us as children still. Despite what we had become. But when the Orokin realized they couldn’t control us, they had her executed and they tried to kill us next. But thanks to other plans, we were put into pods and placed on the moon, where it was sent into the void so that we could not be killed off by enemies.”

Fluttershy couldn’t help but feel for Keiji. He had lost his real family, then lost someone who was like a mother to him. And yet he is still going through life like it was nothing. Then again, him being immortal, things like that are nothing to him when it comes to time. Once they had finally made it to a secluded but safe part of the forest, Fluttershy sat the basket down in the small clearing. Keiji takes the covering off the basket and lays it out nice and flat on the ground. They both sit on the covering and Fluttershy brings the basket in the middle, opening it and pulling out all sorts of goodies she had prepared. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Keiji’s favorite, of course, fresh cut apples, fresh squeezed lemonade, and a couple slices of apple pie. Keiji looked up at her with a few blinks.

“You..prepared all this for us?”

Fluttershy nods with a shy smile and a small blush.

“It all looks great!” he said excitedly, wondering what he should pick first. His icy gray and blue eyes scanned over the tasty looking food, he reaches over and takes an apple slice and pops it into his mouth, the sweet and slightly sour flavor a perfect combination.

“Wow Shy...thank you so so much for this….”

“It..was no trouble...really…”

She said as she picked up one of the sandwiches and started nibbling on it quietly. Though her mind was racing.

Okay Fluttershy, you have him here...the mood is right, and the scene is beautiful. Ask him! Don’t let your shyness get the better of you with him!

She screamed to herself in her head. She looks over to him after finish the last bite of the sandwich.

“So...the Grand Galloping Gala is coming up…”

Keiji laughs a bit as she brought it up.

“Yeah, Everytime Twi comes over, she keeps reminding me.Must be some big event that goes on here huh?”

“Oh yes, it is a bunch of ponies who get invited by the Princesses get together for a party. And well...I…”

She takes in a breath and lets it out.

“I was wondering since I got my ticket. Would..would you like to go with me?!”

She asked a little loudly, at the end, probably her nerves getting the best of her. Keiji leaned back a bit in shock. Not because of how loud she got, but at her ask him of all people.

“We...are allowed to bring plus ones with us….and I thought since nopony has asked yet...well...oooh this is so stupi-.”

Keiji placed a hand on Fluttershy’s shoulder and smiles at her lightly.

“Yes Shy. I would be happy to go with you. I am honored that you would ask me. Just a little shocked is all.”

It took nearly all the willpower of the pegasus mare to not jump up in happiness and wrap her arms around Keiji and squeeze him tight, and she would have if she hadn’t heard his words after he said yes.

“What do you mean Keiji…?”

He couldn’t help but chuckle.

“You are a beautiful mare Shy. I bet all the guys would line up to go to such an event like that with you. I was surely expected to be the last you would have to go with you.”

Fluttershy lowers her head and places her hands in her lap.

“Well, normally yes, you are right. But for some reason, I feel more comfortable around you than any other male in Ponyville. You are always so sweet to me. Going out of your way to come and visit me everyday. Especially when storms come around. You stay with me until they pass. Even if it is overnight. Even though I know what you are and what you have done. I can’t help but be attached to you. The others like you very much as well. We all believe you have come a long way from when you first came here.”

Keiji remembers when he first came here. He was mistrustful, distant and even sometimes to the point where he’d get a little too tense and may hurt somepony. But now he was here with Fluttershy. He was having a picnic with her and just spending time with her. Something he never thought he would be doing when he first got here. The rest of their picnic went quite nicely. But little did Keiji know. That the night of the gala was going to be one he’d never forget. As things would indeed go good, but also very badly.
