Equestria Divided

Sweetie Belle, old and grown, sat around a campfire with 2 other children whom she was caring for. She began to tell them a story. "My life fades and my vision dims. All that remains are memories. And what I remember is a time of chaos... discord... this wasteland. But what I remember most of all, I remember The Warrior. We called her "Silent", because she was quiet. To understand who "Silent" was, you have to go back, way way back, when the world was sprouting with happiness .. friendship.. Gone now... swept away. For reasons I have slightly forgotten, monsters escaped from their prison and wreaked havoc on the ponies of Equestria. The princesses, Celestia and Luna, talked and talked and talked. But nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. Cities exploded. A whirlwind of fear, a firestorm of death. The princesses finally made their decision and we were told to hide in shelters for the bombs, the bombs fell and after that, Equestria was different.. Stallions began to feed on other stallions. Only those who were mobile enough to scavenge and brutal enough to pillage could survive in this terrible land.. And in this twister of decay, ordinary ponies were battered and smashed... ponies like "Silent"... The Warrior "Silent".. In the sound of a gunshot, she lost everything... and became an isolated pony... a desolate pony, a shell of a pony. A pony who wandered out into the wasteland in search of her friends, the wasteland where she finally learned to live again." She finished. The children looked in awe, one of them raised their hoof, "Yes?" Sweetie Belle said. "How do you know all of this?" The little one asked. "I was your age when the war happened, I also knew The Warrior personally when I was younger." They widened their eyes in shock. "Wanna hear more?" Sweetie asked. The children nodded their head in a 'yes' motion frantically. "Alright," She said. "This is about the time I met her again after about 5 or 4 years, I sadly forgot her name in that time.. but anywho, let's start.."
