A man in a black trench coat with a black feather cape with a silver helmet and hair coming out the back of it. He stood in front of a massive misshapen beast. The beast skin hangs off it shoulders and head like a shroud. Its limbs were long and lanky and its fingers were long and narrow with sharp claws at the end. It screams could chill the blood of those who heard it, while its eyes had a red glow to them. He tighten his grip on the blade in his hands and stared down the blood staved beast.
The beast charged him with its maw open wide to bite him. As the beast was about collide with him the man slid under it. As he slid under the beast he raised his sword to piece its underside and drag it downward. When he came out the other side of the beast, its back leg graze the side of his helmet while the beast fall down. He took advantage of the beast predicament and went for its neck.
Slashing downward the man beheaded the beast. Its head rolled across the ground to a stop while its maw twitch opened and closed. The man took a look around to see if there was anymore threats to him. All he saw were the dead bodies of the half-man wolf creatures that he killed before ending the blood staved beast. Most of their bodies were cut apart cleanly, while others had gunshot wounds in their head.
He proceeded to sheath his sword and then took off his helm. The man has long sliver hair ending at his lower back, his skin was pale and his eyes had cat-like pupils and were the color green.
The man examine his helmet checking the damage that was done to it. There was a long gash that was going through the design that covered the front of the helmet on the left side. Dissatisfied about taking a hit, but happy enough that the damage wasn't too serious he put the helm back on and begun to reload his revolvers.
"I need to get out more to train if I got hit by such a slow beast." The man said while loading the last round into his gun. He then pulled out a old fashion pocket watch that has two clock-faces on it. One was moving at a normal pace while the other was moving at a much slower pace.
Looking at the slower clock-face the man said, "Hmm... Two in the morning. I still got some time to get back home in the real world and get some sleep before school. And hopeful avoid mothers wrath."
The man began to walk down the blood covered streets of this nightmare filled world. During his walk he began to think about who he use to be, and how he got where he is today.
"Two-hundred."
"One-fifty."
"One-ninety"
"One-sixty"
"One-eighty and I won't go any lower," said the man dress as the merchant from resident evil four.
I stood there trying to haggle the price down on the sword I want. I mean, really, when is the next time you will find a replica of chikage from bloodbrone that doesn't cost a arm and a leg, and isn't made of plastic and looks like a two year old went at it with a hacksaw.
Thinking back on how I was drag here with my friends. I realize I was kinda happy..... Okay that was a lie on so many levels. I mean I 'was' drag here against my will. So I and I quote "Have a good time and live a little"..... Yeah, no thanks. As soon we got here they started to run around like little kids in a candy store and left me to rot..... again. But I can still can make the most out of this, if I just buy some stuff that will make happy me.
And by happy, I mean junk that will fill a hole in my heart, but will eventually serve no other purpose than take up some space in my attic and be forgotten. Depressing I know.
"I don't know," I said uncertainly to him. "I mean I want it. I REALLY want it, but..."
"Hmm.... how about I sweeten the deal then," he then pointed towards a replica of the blades of mercy. "I'm sure you will agree that every hunter should have a second weapon on them." The man continue to speak in the same voice as the merchant.
'Okay that came out of no where. But then again I have been here for the last twenty minutes so.... yeah I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.' I look towards the blades of mercy thinking 'maybe I said get it too' but I saw something in the corner of my eye that caught my attention. It was a plushy of Sephiroth from final fantasy 7. Now as a man I shouldn't even consider asking. But as a final fantasy fan I say screw it.
"How about the plushy of Sephiroth instead of the blades," I ask the merchant.
He raised a eyebrow at me and look towards the plushy and said, "You rather have a plushy instead of the blades of mercy?"
I shrug and said, "Yeah. It's like reliving my childhood." And at those words the merchant seem to smile underneath his mask.
"Very well then. The sword and the plushy for one-eighty."
"Its a deal." And at that, I dug out my wallet gave him the money for the items.
"I hope you enjoy your purchase." He said with a creepy laugh from the game.
As I walk away thinking on how I finally got the chikage that actually look and feels real. I felt the ground give away on my next step and I started to fall. As fast as I could I angle my new sword to catch on the edge of the hole. As I dangle there for a moment I said, "HA! Its take more than a little hole to stop me. I fall in them all the time cause of my friends obsession in making pitfall traps."
"......"
*Sighing* "I really need to make new friends."
As I started to pull myself up. The hole suddenly expanded, causing the ends of my sword to fall through.
"Oh fu-ofa." The plushy that landed on the edge of the hole suddenly fall and hit me in the face and everything went black.
*Dip*
*Dip*
*Dip* "Ughh.... My head." I said while trying to stand up. "What happen?"
*Dip* "AND WHERE IS THAT DIPPING NOISE COMING FROM!?"
Looking around I found a bucket that was being used to stop water from leaking onto the floor from the ceiling.
".... Oh, that's where." I said half-asleep. "I need to fix that in the morning," I said while yawning. Laying back down back down to get some more sleep. I soon realize that-
"I don't have a leaky roof!? And when did I home!?" I said in a panic. Looking around, I then notice that I wasn't home but somewhere else entirely. The room look like a old fashion clinic, with the out-dated medical equipment and those roll-away beds they put patients on. All of this was kinda freaky, but I find a problem in all of this.
"Why is everything so freaking big!? I mean really, am I in the giant house from jack and the beanstalk?" During my little rant I realize something important.
"What's wrong with my voice!?" My voice sounded young. Like it belong to a four or five year old. Looking around I found a mirror, and I didn't like what I saw in it.
Standing in the mirror was a small child. He had sliver hair that went to his shoulders, with green cat-like eyes. As I stared at the boy, I slowly raised my left hand and his hand mirrored mine. I continue do different kinds of poses and he mirrored every one of them. In the end I had to accept it.
"This is my body now, isn't it?" I said with a frown.
But how? The last thing I remember was going to that damn convention and buying some stuff.... from someone who was dressed as the merchant. At a convention.... oh god I been displaced haven't I.... strangely enough I'm okay with this.
My life was kinda shitty ya'know. My parents were drug addicts, relationship in my family never in ended well, and my cat died!.... Okay the last one was irrelevant but my does life sucks okay! *Sighing* Anyway lets see where this goes.
Looking around the room one more time, I notice a object near the spot I woke up at. Picking it up. I realize it was the chikage I bought and probably the source of my problems and I shouldn't take it with me..... But I'm gonna. I mean what could possibly wrong?
EVERYTHING THAT COULD'VE GONE WRONG, HAS GONE WRONG!!!! I mentally screamed as I was chase by a group of werewolves. God, first it was those alien things in the clinic, then that mob of half-wolf men, now this! I swear someone has it out for me.
Seeing a open window I decided jump through it. Just in time too, one of the wolves seemingly crash into it. Its head made it through, snapping its jaws like its life depended on it. So I did the most reasonable thing to do.
I made faces at it and taunted it on how stupid it was.
..... I have a feeling that something else was change along with my body. But then I heard it. A creaking noise coming from the door. I look towards it and saw the other wolf pushing it open.
I ran through the building hoping to out run the wolves again. They chased me to a room with a mirror in it.
Seeing no way out, I turn to face my soon-to-be killers. The slowly made his way towards me, as I slowly back away until my foot hit the rim of the mirror and I had to stop.
The wolf swipe at me with his claws. Knocking me back were I felt nothing but cold then I hit the hard ground. Laying there waiting for the end to come.... Ughh where the end?
Opening my eyes I notice I was in the room with the mirror anymore but in a alleyway with a large mirror at the end of it. Holding my bleeding left side I made my way to the mirror. It was kinda simple in design but still elegant..... Until I saw the wolves staring at me from the other side.
I stood there like deer in car headlights. I stood frozen until one the wolves try to touch the mirror. I immediately lifted my sword and broke the mirror as fast as I could. Shards of glass flew through the air, as I went at the mirror until there was nothing left but the frame.
*Huff* "Never again, *Huff* will I *Huff* insult health nuts for over exercising.... Nah still gonna do it.... cause I'm a dick. Turning around I started to head down the alleyway to the sounds of human civilization, and hopefully find a doctor for my injures.
Seeing people who wasn't trying to kill me, brought tears to my eyes.... for the first five seconds until there was a car crash causing one to swerve and head towards me and hit me.
The last thing I saw was a woman whose hair was like an aurora and a girl whose hair was like fire, getting out of their car and running towards me.
