Celestia had heard tell of a beast in the kingdom of the dragons. She expected it to be horrifying. Perhaps it was.

Remus is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, a stranger in a strange land. Receiving education from the Princess of Equestria would be more than any other pony or dragon could wish for. Training to fight ancient evils with feats of magic not mastered in a thousand years is quite another matter, though. Between the cracks of sanity and beyond the limits of his own mortality, all he has to rely on are three ponies he has learned to call his friends. The clock ticks forward as he must face the monsters lurking in the shadows of the world and the demon in his own mind.

It's a pity the demon had to be right about so many things.
