*Deep inside a cave within the deepest parts of the Everfree forest. A sacred ritual between bat ponies was taking place. SEX! Meanwhile about a year after that. That bat pony mare had her foal and the tragic tale began. For this thestral was of the rarest breed because of the unique trait they possess. To live they had to take the very life essence of others. To live, they had to drink.Creatures.BLOOD. And that is why this thestral was immediately marked for death. However, saved by the loving parent, the foal was carried into the woods. The other thestrals knew that if the foal was allowed to live that tragedy would surely follow. They pursued her until they were sure they couldn't find her. Disappointed they returned home hoping that the weather took care of them. Unfortunately, the mother and her child were strong and they survived until they found shelter in another cave. They stayed in there for months and months until the mother began to grow weak and started to die.
"Mama, what is wrong with you," the young bat pony asked. The mother looked into his eyes and saw the fear of the future. But she also saw the determination in his eyes to live.
"My son, my time in this world is running out," she told the foal.
"But mom you can't go what about me and if you go then there will be no one to get back at those meanies who kicked us out," the foal said, crying now that what the mother had said started to sink in. The mother motioned for him to come closer for she was getting weaker.
"My son, you are a special one of our kind," she stated. "You are a vampiric bat pony. I am sure there are times that you won't like what you are but I want you to continue living on. If you are finding it hard then just do it for me," she continued. She lifted a weak hoof and caressed his cheek.
"I want you to live so...," she said as she tilted her head and showed him her neck. The feeling inside of the foal was immediate as he was almost knocked off his feet by the over surging urge to bite and suck and... The foal shook his head to clear it.
"Mom I can't. With how weak you are you could die," he pleaded with every ounce of will he had to not leap on her right then and there.
"Son, I am dying anyway. At least this way a part of me will always be with you," she stated with the care only a mother could manage in this situation. She reached out a hoof and brought him closer so that his face was right in front of her neck. The foal tried with all his might but eventually, his will crumbled. He opened his mouth and bit into his mother's neck.
He may have lost his will to stop but he didn't lose complete control. He uses one of the venoms in his fangs to numb that part of her skin so that it wouldn't hurt. The mother's sorrow was evident now but she held a hoof up to his head just in case he tried to pull away. "That's it my son... drink...up", she stated in between labored breathing. The foal was crying now but he knew his mother would insist he continue so he did. He could see him sapping her of her strength which only made him cry harder. "Remember, even when it all seems hopeless just keep on living my little thestral. My...little...Night Treader," and with that, she went limp drained of almost all of her life essence. The foal had let go of her neck and looked down at his mother with sad eyes. He wanted to cry. He wanted to cry next to his mother until he eventually starved but, mama wanted him to live so he would. He would live and he would never forget.
"Night Treader," he repeated. A small smile graced his lips. "Thank you, mama. Thank you for everything," he said and let just a few teardrops fall to the cave floor. That night he brought his mother outside and buried her. It was hard and by the time he was done he was sore. He laid down next to the grave and put his head in his hooves. I'll never forget. Not for as long as I live.
I heard birds twittering and assumed that was what woke me up. I stood up and felt a stiffness in my back. I bent forward much in a likeness to how a dog would crouch getting ready to play. After I heard a rather sizable crack and felt the stiffness slowly melt away I got up and looked around. It was rather nice on a spring morning and I would have enjoyed it were it not for two things. One was the fact that the sunlight actually burned on my coat just a little enough to make it sting but not enough for me to start smoking thankfully. The second was a grave that was right beside me. Mama told me stories about a lot of things and some of them were graves. In one was a person with dirt on top of them. One thing I was just now remembering, however, was the gravestone that sat atop the grave telling who was there. I immediately face-hoofed myself and started into the forest. I was looking for a decent size rock that was light enough for me to carry but was heavy enough to not get affected by outside forces too much. It also had to be kinda wide and tall so that it could fit all the lettering onto it.
I had been walking in the forest for awhile now and then I saw it. A heap of rocks was just within eyesight. I galloped over to them and started sorting through them. The array was astounding. They were of all different sizes and shapes and I knew I was going to have trouble picking out the best one.
I was frustrated. I had been looking through this rock pile for at least an hour and still had not come across a rock that would be good enough. I was about to let out a yell of frustration when I heard a twig snap. I instinctively spread my wings and darted for the nearest tree with enough cover to hide me. I was just in time because as soon as I had silently settled in the tree a creature came out of the bushes. I had no idea what it was until I saw a picture on its flank. A pony was here. Mama told me stories of ponies and how if we did not hide they would wipe us out. She looked around before she spoke
"Hello, is anybody there," she said in a raised voice. I did not respond and that seemed to unnerve her. She called out again this time with fear evident in her voice. "H-hel-lo," she stuttered. She turned her head and I saw her neck. I was almost overcome with an all too familiar feeling. In my blood lust induced state I moved forward an inch and shook the branch I was on hard enough for her to hear.
She turned her head to look directly at me and our eyes met. She had light green eyes. She had a yellow coat and an indigo mane. Her eyes lit up with fear as her eyes saw my slit yellow ones that you would normally find on a cat or something. "H-hello there," she said. I just continued to stare at her and she took a step back. "Would you mind coming out into the light so I could see you," she asked. I contemplated my answer a moment before returning her words.
"Are you sure that is a good idea," I said. I think that she thought I couldn't talk because her eyes lit up with surprise and her mouth hung open. When she finally gathered her wits again she nodded and I let out a sigh to calm myself. I spread my wings and took off out of the tree. I landed at her feet crouched and then stood to my full height. Slowly I started to tower over her. When I was done I was about a foot above her head.
Her face contorted into fear and I was kinda satisfied that I could make one of these evil murderers cower before me. "u-u-um," she continued to stutter. A thought came to my mind and I let my curiosity get the better of me.
"What is a mare like you doing out here in the forest," I asked her. She hadn't blinked yet and she was shaking.
"I was doing research for a forest guide I was working on," she answered.
"A forest guide," I queried.
"Y-yes I write guides and pamphlets for touring forests like this one," she explained. I rolled what she said over in my head before a thought struck me.
"By any chance does this guide of yours feature special or strange occurrences such as oh I don't know," I paused to give my words a little effect. "Maybe they would feature a weird looking pony-like creature that was exploring around a rock quarry," I finished.
The mare looked completely confused before she looked around her and connected the dots. Once she did her expression became one full of terror. She took a step back to try to create some distance but I stepped forwards so that she only managed to back herself against a tree. She looked like she was about to make a run for it so I got really close and put both my hooves on either side of her head. I then extended my wings to cover the gaps that were made. "I can't let anyone else know I am here so you prove to be a difficult problem," I said until we were touching bellies.
When I got closer her face turned extremely red. It was then that I realized that my back right knee joint had drifted into her crouch and felt something very wet. She looked away and blushed even deeper. Just to test something I moved my knee in big circles. It had the desired effect as she let out a small moan and got shaky legs. Even though I was expecting that reaction it still surprised me. I took this time to examine this situation from a third party perspective. A strange creature trapped a pony between his legs and wings in a secluded part of the forest and was now so close they were touching. I let those words roll around in my head before a certain thought came to light. Oh no. It was a long shot but I put my face level and right in front of hers. Sure enough, there was a small look of lust in them.
"I'm going to ask a question and I want you to answer honestly, ok," I said.
She looked at me and gave me her answer in a sort of tired and drawn out way. "Ok," she replied.
"What do you want me to do right now," I asked.
She seemed surprised by my question. "You mean you're not gonna just eat me," she asked.
"Only if that's what you want me to do," I replied.
Well, kinda...," she hesitated. I leaned in toward her face and when she looked up our eyes met. In hers, I saw embarrassment, lust, curiosity, with only a slight undertone of fear. What I think she saw in mine was a hungry predator ready to eat her completely. If that was what she saw and she asked if it was true then she wouldn't be far off. "I-I w-want you t-to... Can y-you...," she stuttered. I kept looking in her eyes just to make sure and saw the lust not only still there but growing.
"Tell me if I'm close," I said. With that, I bent down and gave her a long slow lick right up to the middle of her lower lips. She gave out a loud, shaky, pleasurable sigh that could have been interpreted as a laugh if you didn't listen to close. It was kinda hard keeping my wings around us at this position so I readjusted to a more comfortable one. Looking up I saw that she had a smile on her face and her eyes were closed in anticipation. I gave her another lick and got a similar response. I kept licking but it seemed that for every drop of her I licked it was replaced by two more. I drove my tongue in deeper and licked faster. She let out a small wail and put her hooves behind my head and pushed a little wanting me to go deeper. I was actually kinda happy to oblige. I drove deeper making her ecstatic. She was close. I could feel it in more ways than one. Her pussy was tightening around my tongue with every lick. After a couple more licks she came. Her mare juices covered my face while I licked as much as I could causing her more pleasure.
Once she was done her legs gave out and I caught her but she was kinda heavy so we tumbled to the forest floor. I was getting squashed so I rolled over so I was standing over her. We both just stayed like that before my eyes wandered to her neck. The feeling hit me but this time was accompanied by a stabbing sensation in my stomach. I was really hungry. My breathing became a little more rapid and my pupils dilated more than normal. Alarmed by my actions the mare looked up and saw the blood lust in my eyes. All emotion immediately left her face and was replaced by fear. I saw that look and tried to calm myself down. Unfortunately, I had skipped breakfast and now the urge to eat was in full force. "I'm sorry but you'll have to do something for me now," I said.
"And that is," she replied. To her credit, she didn't stutter but the fear still showed.
"Tilt your head to the right and keep it there," I said. She hesitantly did as I said and I let my head get closer to her neck. Once I got close enough I opened my mouth and sank my fangs into her. She let out a whimper and a tear went down her cheek. I noticed it and mentally punched myself and started injecting the venom I had in my mind. After it started to take effect the whimpers were replaced by moans. I kept drinking in her succulent life juice until she started to go a little limp. I felt that and let go. I looked at her chest to make sure she was still breathing. Once I saw she was I noticed she had passed out. I smiled and managed to get her lying on my back. I started walking back to my cave and wondered how tomorrow would turn out.
I woke up in my cave. It had been like this for the past couple of days. Waking up in a cave all alone with no one to comfort me after the nightmares finally brought him back. It was a process he didn't like much. I went to get up but was held back by something furry holding on to my hoof. I looked up and almost yelped in fright when I saw a mare holding on to my hoof with a wing under her. After the initial shock passed the memories of what happened the day before came back to me. After the mare had passed out from our...activities...I brought her to my cave and she was so cute I ended up sleeping with her. While I was thinking about what to do I felt her stir. A fast series of thoughts came to mind. Pull my wing and hoof at such an angle that she lets go of my hoof and rolls off my wing. Bite her again and make her pass out. Hit her over the head and knock her out. She was getting closer to waking up so I settled on the option of pretending to be asleep. I used my sonar to detect everything around me. She opened her eyes and yelped. It seemed that she was as surprised as me. Carefully she let go of my hoof and got off my wing. Once she was standing and saw that I "hadn't" woken up she let out a sigh of relief and took a step toward the door. "Where do you think you're going," I said. She stopped dead in her tracks and looked at me with fear. I got up and folded my wing while looking at her with me yellow eyes.
"Just going out," she responded with a nervous smile. I didn't buy it one bit.
"So, in other words, you were gonna go running through the forest yelling for help like a lunatic," I deadpanned. She looked at me and started to sweat. She then turned around and ran out of the cave entrance into the forest screaming for help. I smiled and chuckled a bit. I read her better than I would have read a book. I walked up to the door, spread my wings, and took off.
The mare was running through the forest yelling for help when she saw a shadow pass over her. She stopped and looked up hoping to see a pegasus. What she saw, however, was a blue form hurtling towards her. I landed right onto her back and pinned her to the ground. She resisted a bit before giving up and just lying there. I kept standing there for a few more seconds before getting off her back. She stood up slowly and didn't look at me. "Walk in front of me and go to the cave," I said with a glare. She started walking towards the cave and I followed. When we got to the cave she stopped and looked at me. In her eyes, I saw fear and despair. I let out a small sigh and looked her dead in the eye.
"There will be no punishment this time but, if you try to run away again then there will be consequences," I said. She simply nodded and went over to a corner. Once there she laid down and closed her eyes while a tear dropped from her eyes.
I didn't like this. I didn't like having to put up a mean and commanding front to keep her from running away. She shivered. I could tell she tried to hide it but I noticed anyway. I walked up next to her and laid down next to her. I put a wing around her and kept her warm. She could give an act of displeasure and defiance all she wanted but I could tell she liked it by the way she snuggled up to me. She also let a small smile grace her lips as she fell asleep. I found it adorable as I also let the tendrils of sleep wrap around me.
