Equestria is in turmoil. Three years have passed since the devastating Invasion on the City of Canterlot. The Changelings had shown no remorse. Despite overcoming the ferocity of the enemy, the invasion has shown just how vulnerable Equestria had become.

Princess Celestia, adamant to prove Equestria's might, brought together what forces remain of the Royal Guard and set out to mount an offensive against the Changeling Army. Seeking aid from otherworldly yet familiar beings, the Equestrians were able develop weaponry unlike any spear or magical spell seen before. Equestria had entered the age of an Industrial Revolution and soon followed by the fall of the Changelings, Celestia showing no mercy. The benevolent caliber she held, all but forgotten, dwindling over the years and with it the citizens trust in their Princess.

Throughout it all, throughout that dark period, the Princess of the Night stood by and watched as her morals were crushed for better or for worse, as her sister turned from a fair leader to a tyrant, as her world was fractured. She found herself questioning her sisters authority, her rule and now her loyalty. Realizing action is necessary and that her sister must be stopped, Luna sets out with one thought, one goal; to restore Equestria to its former glory, no matter the cost.
