Labyrinthian
"Blasted Frost Trolls!" a average size nord shouted blasting multiple Frost Trolls with fire. Looking around the pass he noticed a single mage ahead.
"Ah Arch mage Zanicar you made it!" shouted a young Nordic mage.
"Yes i'm finally here Onmund." Zanicar replied. "How did you get here so quickly?" he asked seeing no blood or signs of battle on him.
"Just snuck around the trolls sir." Onmund replied pointing in the direction he had come from.
"You'll never get better with destruction magic if you never use it Onmund." Zanicar scolded, being careful not to attract attention.
"Sorry sir I just figured I'd get plenty of practice while you closed the rift here." Onmund stated pointing to a large vortex in the middle of the ruins. Walking down the steps to the courtyard of the ruins the two came to a stop.
"Alright Onmund, keep an eye out, there's no telling what will try to kill us when I begin." Zanicar stated charging his magic before releasing a stream of arcane energy straight into the vortex. Upon activating the spell wisp appeared floating towards the two mages. "Onmund now!" Zanicar yelled erected a barrier around himself. Onmund blasted the wisps with a continuos flame causing them to explode upon death. Grunting Zanicar sent more power into the vortex causing it to shrink visibly.
"You will not prevail mortal!" screamed a demonic voice that seemed to come from all angles.
"Onmund, prepare for daedra!" Zanicar yelled with a strain from using excessive amounts of magic.
"I see them but they seem more focused on the wisps." Onmund yelled running to assist with the vortex.
"Take the vortex, i'll deal with our guest while my magicka recharges." Zanicar stated releasing the spell as Onmund began to cast. Drawing his [Ebony sword] as it glowed with magic. Zanicar grunted as a Daedric arrow persed his armor. "Damed archers." he growled pulling the arrow and cast a healing spell. Trowing his blade Zanicar hit the archer before switching to magic. "Die damed you!" he screamed releasing a bolt of lightning at a group of daedra running for Onmund.
"Archmage!" Onmund yelled over to Zanicar. Looking at the vortex Zanicar saw it had be gun to grow once more.
"Go to the college, I will finish here." Zanicar stated taking over the spell. "What did I tell you, GO!" he yelled at Onmund's hesitation. "Eight guide me." he whispered as he put every last ounce of energy into the vortex. Zanicar closed his eyes as a bright flash consumed him.

Dragon high
"Hey you alright sugar cube?" asked a tan girl leaning over Zanicar. "Hey Rare can you call the hospital?" she asked a slender paste white girl behind her.
"Of course darling." the white girl responded pulling out a small object.
"Where am I?" Zanicar asked groaning. "And who are you?" he continued looking around.
"I'm Applejack and this is Rarity, and you're at Canterlot High." the tan girl answered.
"Where is Onmund?" Zanicar asked sitting up.
"I don't know who that is." applejack responded.
"What did you do to my armor and blade?" Zanicar asked with a growl noticing his armor and blade missing.
"What are you talking about, all you had on you was this." Applejack responded producing a small ring. Snatching the ring Zanicar put it on feeling power surge within him. Getting to his feet Zanicar stumbled before seeing a small glint. Noticing the glint as well Applejack pulled a sword from the bushes. "Is this your blade?" she asked holding it out. Nodding Zanicar took the blade in his hand, tying it's sheath around his waist.
"Thank you." Zanicar stated getting to his feet with greater ease. "I am Zanicar, Archmage of the College of Winterhold." he greeted.
"Wait mage as in you have magic?" Rarity asked looking up from her phone. Nodding Zanicar cast a magelight spell.
"Well sugar cube I have to go to school." Applejack stated knocking on the guest room door. Seeing a note Applejack read it silently.
'I must thank you for your hospitality to a stranger, but alas I must leave to find my armor. Good luck with your learning today, but be wary I sense a growing darkness. I will begin where we met should you wish to help.'
"Hey Sunset you at school yet?" Applejack asked holding her phone as she walked to her families red pickup truck.
"Yea and there's some guy here looking for something, says he knows you." Sunset Shimmer responded. "Why?" she asked.
"Just keep him there." Applejack ordered hanging up and starting the truck.
"Ok, hey mister can I talk with you real quick?" Sunset Shimmer asked running up to Zanicar. Nodding Zanicar continued to look. "Well what are you looking for Applejack said you might need help." Sunset Shimmer asked as she came to a stop.
"Yes I could use help but be wary the armor I seek is enchanted." Zanicar warned. Squinting he saw the [Ebony Mail] armor along side the reast of the armor. "That's better." Zanicar stated sliding the helmet on. "My blade." Zanicar ordered as Sunset Shimmer handed him the ebony sword.
"Sorry bad...." Applejack trialed off after seeing Zanicar.
"I should delay you no longer." Zanicar stated bowing slightly with his left hand resting on his blade. After saying good bye the girls left and entered the school.
"Don't worry i'm letting him stay at my house until he finds a way home." Applejack stated opening the front doors of the school.
"Oh, FIREWORKS!" Pinkie screamed pointing at barrage of light.
"yol toor shul!" Zanicar shouted, a burst of flame coming fro his mouth. He burst open a ward as fire rained upon him.
"zu'u fen ni dir dovahkiin!" screamed a large dragon as it chomped at Zanicar. "zu'u fen du hi dovahkiin!" the dragon yelled angrily.
"tiid klo ul!" Zanicar shouted as time came to a crawl. Moving around the dragon Zanicar continued to attack befalling the dragon. "All will be explained." Zanicar stated looking at the seven girls.
Magic show of the century
"So you're saying you're from another world?" Sunset Shimmer asked before taking a sip from he milkshake.
"Yes, born and raised in Skyrim." Zanicar responded.
"Um sugar cube what did that thing say?" Applejack asked.
"That dragon was a fool, not only did he engage the one thing that could kill him permanently but a battle mage as well." Zanicar stated. "It said it would consume me." he continued noticing he did not answer the question.
"Oh look a magic show, and it's free!" Pinkie Pie shouted excitedly looking at a small flier.
"Magic show?" Zanicar asked with a confused expression.
"It's not really magic more so tricks and misdirection." Sunset Shimmer explained.
"Ah, I would love to join you but I must find a way home." Zanicar stated. "But it would be best to take a break, a tired mind will not find the solution that a rested mind would." he continued.
"Sounds like Twilight." Sunset stated as he bag began to vibrate. "What the?" she gasped as she reached into her bag.
'Hey Sunset, just got your message about the dragon i'll be there as soon as I can.

"Twilight's coming." she stated closing the book.
"Twilight!" five of the girls shouted in unison.
"A friend I take it?" Zanicar asked looking at Sunset. Nodding she drank more of her milkshake. "I look forward to meeting her then." he continued looking down at his glass of water.
"Heck maybe she can help you get home." Sunset stated putting her cup down after finishing it.
"Now prepare to be amazed as the Great and powerful Trixie performs her final act!" a skinny blue skin girl shouted over the speaker system .
"So far I am not impressed." Zanicar stated with a board expression. The audience gasped as Trixie vanished. "Up there." he whispered to Sunset pointing to a small catwalk where the silver haired magician began to descend on a crescent moon.
"And vala the Great and powerful Trixie has returned!" Trixie stated climbing down from the moon. The audience cheered in enjoyment. Just as the cheer came to a close a small purple vortex appeared.
"Daedra." Zanicar growled clenching his fist. Walking up to Zanicat shot forth a firebolt at the daedra. "I will not bow to you or your master demon!" he shouted summoning a glowing blade from nowhere. Clashing blades the two grunted from the force exerted upon them. "krah diin fo!" Zanicar shouted as a wave of ice consumed the daedra, freezing it in ice. Picking up a pice of wood Zanicar swung it at the frozen daedra shattering it across the stage. Early the next morning Zanicar walked down the stairs before hearing female voices shouting outside.
"Listen all of ya'll, he's just looking for a way home alright!" Applejack shouted to a large mob outside the house. Putting on his armor Zanicar walked outside.
"What is the meaning of this!" he shouted scanning across the crowd. Getting annoyed at the incoherent yelling Zanicar drew his sword. "strun bah qo!" he shouted as rain began to poor and lightning struck the ground. Screaming the crowd fled the homestead for their cars. "That should deal with them." Zanicar grumbled shething his blade and heading inside after Applejack.
"What in tardnation was that!" Applejack screamed at Zanicar throwing her trade mark hat on the ground.
"Storm call." Zanicar replied simply. "But I have more pressing matters then mobs showing up on your doorstep." he continued opening a book.
"Luckily for you I have to go to school, but I what a explanation when I get back!" Applejack shouted heading out the door.
Author's Note
Next chapter will go more in depth into Zanicar's abillities and hold backs.
"Well explain." Applejack demanded.
"Very well, as Archmage I fell it is my duty to master all schools of magic." Zanicar explained. "These schools of magic include Illusion, Conjuration, Destruction, Restoration, and Alteration." he continued showing a different spell to represent each school.
"I'm going to guess Illusion is the most harmless." Twilight stated looking at Zanicar.
"Far from it, all classes of magic can be equally dangerous depending on the situation." Zanicar explained, casting a spell on Rainbow Dash. Dash shielded her eyes from the red light as it came in contact with her. Looking at Applejack she screamed as she threw a fist at the farm girl.
"What in tardnation did you do to her!?" Applejack asked trying to hold Dash back.
"Furry, a basic illusion spell that clouds minds with pure rage for about a minute." Zanicar explained.
"Um what's going on?" Dash asked seeing her fist had just collided with Applejack. "I'm sorry!" she screeched leaping of her beaten friend. All six girls gasped as Applejack was surrounded by a golden glow.
"Healing hands, basic but healers use it to quickly aid the wounded." Zanicar stated as the glow disappeared. "Now back to more pressing matters that should concern you more than I do." he continued.
"Oh the dragon and that guy that came out of the portal!" Pinkie yelled excitedly.
"Yes, but the dragon concerns me more he should be unable to come here unless...." Zanicar trailed off before widening his eyes in fear. "Some of the senior magi have been looking into new ways to permanently kill dragons, that must be sending them here." he continued as a purple vortex appeared.
"Um darling." Rarity stated shakily.
"I know." Zanicar stated writing a letter. "Take this to Tolfdir at the college of Winterhold." Zanicar ordered the daedra.
"As you wish master." the daedra stated disappearing. "For you." the daedra stated handing the letter to Tolfdir.
Tolfdir cease all recerch into the spell for killing dragons, those spells are sending them here.

"I hope that got though." Zanicar stated pacing the room. With a flash the daedra returned handing a letter to Zanicar. "Yes, thank the divines!" Zanicar shouted thrusting his fist to the air.
"Um what's the divines?" Twilight asked walking into the café.
"Twilight!" the six girls shouted in unison. Hugging the group of girls greeted the purple girl.
"Ms. Twilight, I presume." Zanicar greeted holding out a hand.
"Um yes, and you are?" Twilight asked shaking Zanicar's outstretched hand.
"Yes, and to answer your question the divines are the entities that created all life in the mortal realm." Zanicar explained letting Twilight take his seat. Opting to stand he and Twilight began to discuss solutions to take Zanicar home. "Yes that might work." Zanicar stated. "I'll get my armor, you prepare your friends." he continued walking to the guest room of the Apple family home.
"Well what's the plan?" Sunset asked.
"If our theories are correct we can use the elements and my own magic to open a rift similar to the one that brought me here." Zanicar explained. "Alright off to the school." he ordered.
"Keep the pace!" Zanicar shouted at the seven girls following him.
"Ya know we could've just took the truck right?" Applejack asked walking up to his side.
"A dragon could tack your truck far easier than us on foot." Zanicar replied. Stopping he looked up.
"Is that a bird?" Fluttershy asked looking at the sky.
"Too big and ugly." Zanicar replied drawing his sword.
"Dovahkiin zu'u fen tinvaak voth hi." a dragon spoke rumbling the earth beneath it.
"Fine but like this if you can." Zanicar replied putting his blade in it's sheath.
"I can speak little of your tongue." the dragon spoke. "My brethren come dovahkiin. You must seal the luv between het and keizaal." the dragon continued.
"Oh my your scales are rough." Fluttershy stated rubbing the dragon's scales.
"Stop joor!" the dragon cried out angerly.
"Sorry." Fluttershy squeaked running over to her friends.
"How in Oblivion did she get past me with out my knowledge?" Zanicar questioned as a demonic roar cracked though the sky. "Never mind, we must reach the school to get me home and seal the rift between our worlds!" he shouted.
"Allow me dovahkiin." the dragon shouted allowing the eight to climb on top.
"Damed daedra!" Zanicar screamed casting balls of fire at the archers as the group drew near the school. "No." Zanicar stated eyeing a large red portal near their destination. The dragon roared as an arrow pierced it's hide. Crashing the group stumbled to their feet. "Blast it!" Zanicar shouted examining the dragon. "It's dead." he stated, anger rising in his voice. Motioning his hand Zanicar continued as the dragon rapidly decayed. Reaching the school Zanicar noticed two more portals had appeared.
"Sugar cube what is going on!" Applejack screamed.
"The daedra are going to open a grand gate to a plain of Oblivion." Zanicar stated as the earth shook. He drew his blade as a larger gate appeared. "Girls get in the school, I need to deal with this first." Zanicar stated. Heading inside Rainbow Dash looked back and bolted back towards the gates. "I told you to get in the school!" Zanicar shouted plunging his ebony sword into an daedra archer.
"You did but this is my home!" Dash shouted back picking up a daedric sword. "This thing is heavy." she stated attempting to swing the sword.
"Here!" Zanicar shouted tossing his blade to the rainbow haired girl. Catching the sword Dash swung it at a daedra mage cutting though cloth and skin.
"Um darlings, where's Rainbow?" Rarity asked looking around. Eyes widening the seven girls looked outside to see Dash fighting alongside Zanicar.
"You're pretty good with that!" Zanicar shouted summoning a glowing blade.
"I took classes, never thought i'd need them like this though!" Dash shouted back. a few minutes into the fight the [great gate] opened.
"We need to close that gate SOON!" Zanicar shouted running or the portal. Following Zanicar and Rainbow Dash found themselves surrounded by lava and faced with a large machine crawling towards them. "Can't believe i'm doing this again." Zanicar wispered.
"What!" Dash screamed. "You mean this isn't the first time you've done this." she continued.
"Yes, but i'll explain later." Zanicar replied. Motioning his hand the duo ran for a wall running across the lava. Slowly fighting their way though Zanicar and Dash reached a large tower. Looking back at the gate Zanicar noticed how close the machine was tho the gate. "I've got it from here, go home." he ordered.
"But..." Dash trailed off after Zanicar gave her a stare filled with hunger and blood lust. Running Dash saw Zanicar hunch over and be consumed by a dark cloud. Roaring Zanicar burst from the darkness as a [vampire lord] floating above the ground. "I am Zanicar, lord of the Valkhar vampires and you will kneel before me!" he shouted telekineticly chocking a scamp.
"Where is he?" Sunset asked Rainbow Dash as she walked into the school.
"Still in there, but I don't know if he's even human." Dash replied nearly studdering. "He turned into some kind of monster." she continued.
"What kind?" Sunset asked putting her hand on Dash's shoulder. Rainbow Dash shrugged before explaining what she saw.
"That doesn't sound equestrian." Twilight stated looking over notes she took of the description.
"Finally." Zanicar stated turning back to his Nordic form. Taking the [sigil stone] . As Zanicar took the stone the room burst into flames as it dispersed. All at once the gates outside the school closed. "This should help." Zanicar stated holding the sigil stone.
"What is going on here?" Principal Celestia asked as she and Vice principal Luna ran down the halls.
"Nothing." Zanicar stated rhetorically crossing his arms. "But if you are refering to past events a great gate to oblivion opened so Ms. Dash and I went in and closed it." he continued. "Now this sigil stone should give us an extra boost." Zanicar explianed turning back to Sunset.
"How exactly?" Sunset asked.
"Sigil stones in theory can amplify magic, depending on the specific stone." Zanicar explained. Kneeling Zanicar placed the sigil stone in the center of the girls. "One more thing, the spell may send you to my world with me." Zanicar stated. Charging his magic Zanicar unleashed a torrent of arcane energy into the stone while the seven friends held hands. After a few moments a bright flash appeared, blinding the group.
"Um, where are we?" Applejack asked looking around, seeing nothing but rock and snow.
"For love of!" Zanicar shouted covering his eyes.
"Oh." Sunset stated looking around noticing none of the girls had clothes. Bringing out a map Zanicar found their location.
"Well I've got good news, we're near a town where we can get you some clothes." Zanicar stated. "So you ready for a trip?" he asked looking around. Nodding the seven girls began to follow him.
"Um darling." Rarity stated, pointing to a group of men and women approaching.
"Now now, what to we have here?" one of the men asked.
"Don't know, but it could be some fun on legs." another man responded.
"Oh shut up boys." one of the women commanded.
"Stand down, I am Zanicar Archmage of the College of Winterhold." Zanicar stated stepping forward.
"And I don't give a crap." the woman stated pulling out a large battleaxe.
"Very well, I guess we must do things the fun way." Zanicar stated lighting his hand a blaze. Launching a fireball Zanicar struck the female bandit in the chest as her comrades burst into flames. Zanicar struck down the bandit, shoving his blade straight though her.
"Was that necessary?" Twilight asked, shocked at the brutality.
"Well unless you like others having their way with you, then yes." Zanicar retorted. "We're near Winterhold." he continued. Walking into the town may guards looked cautiously in the direction of the girls.
"Archmage you're back!" Faralda shouted running up to the group. "I'll go ahead and get some clothes for them." she continued running back up the bridge.
"Come some robes and quarters will be ready soon." Zanicar explained gesturing for the girls to follow. Leading the girls to the Hall of Attainment. Putting on the robes Rarity complained on how the garments clashed with her complexion. Smacking his face Zanicar groaned.
"Ah Archmage this was brought to us by the Companions." Tolfdir stated handing a shard to Zanicar.
"Hm, I don't recognize this." Zanicar stated holding the shard to the light. "I'll check the Arcaneum." he continued heading up flights of stairs.
"Oh hi." Twilight whispered, waving her hand at Zanicar.
"Ms. Twilight, I should have known you'd be here." Zanicar chuckled shaking his head.
"Oh, this book on artifacts is fascinating." Twilight commented enthusiastically.
"Wait may I see?" Zanicar asked outstretching his hand. Nodding Twilight handed him the book. Looking though the book Zanicar shouted in victory.
"What got you so worked up?" an old orc asked sitting behind a counter.
"Ok so, I didn't find what I was looking for, but there are multiple references to the artifact." Zanicar explained before handing Twilight the book. "I need to make a list." Zanicar continued enthusiastically, rushing up the stairs. "Dammit!" he shouted coming back, snatching the book and running back up. Mumbling to himself Zanicar scrabbled words onto parchment.
"Alright, what's going on?" Sunset asked leaning in though the doorway.
"What Twilight found in the book , the thing about artifacts, may have a way to take you home." Zanicar answered. Rolling the scroll up Zanicar hurried down the stairs. "Twilight, quickly gather the girls in the Hall of Enchantments." he shouted quickly.
"Ok, what's this about sugar cube?" Applejack asked as the seven girls in the Hall of Enchantments.
"I don't know, but Zanicar thinks he has a home for us." Sunset explained.
"Alright with this we can take you home, and possibly travel between worlds at will." Zanicar explained.
"Alright, alright just get on with it!" Dash shouted angrily.
"OK, OK, i'm getting on it now." Zanicar stated backing away from the rainbow haired girl. Charging what appered to be a blue flame Zanicar touched the magicka well in the center of the room. As the well started to glow brighter, a bubble formed over it.
"Um, darling is that supposed to happen?" Rarity asked as the orb expanded.
"Don't know, but that's the excitement." Zanicar stated with a smirk. In a brief moment the orb exploded consuming everyone in the room. "Well, i'd say that worked." he continued looking around at the high school.
"Well how do you plan to get home?" Applejack asked crossing her arms.
"That's the charm of this little trinket." Zanicar remarked, putting on a small silver amulet. "Alright so where a high concentration of magic here?" Zancar asked looking at Twilight.
"Well there's the portal." Twilight stated, pointing to the center of the school courtyard. Nodding Zanicar walked up putting his had to the portal and charging the blue flame once more. Walking though he found himself once more at Skyborn Temple. Sighing Zanicar trudged towards Dawnstar.
"Well, I've got a long story for the kids." Zanicar stated walking down the stairs.
