With a clean-enough coat, I flopped back into my bed and gave the ceiling a frustrated growl. It was so confusing!
I didn't get a single minute more of sleep that night – I spent the whole time tossing and turning, remembering that dream, wondering what it meant for me...
And I never did find out if that was just a regular wet dream, or if it was something more. Nor did I ever have any more dreams of Luna, none that I remembered after waking up, anyway. But it did change me ... now I at least have the confidence to talk to mares without choking on my own tongue. Why, just yesterday I finally worked up the courage to ask Scootaloo out on a date! Let's hope that goes well ... I'll never forget my night with Luna, but it left me longing for more.
