You may not think it, but Rainbow Dash harbors her close secrets in darkness.
Including her tendency to wet herself.
She's always been good at hiding it; her fast movement allowing her to duck out of sight of friends and other ponies that may otherwise compromise her status in Ponyville's social hierarchy; she was a bit of a diva sometimes sure, but she wanted to remain 20% cooler than all other ponies around, and if that meant keeping her accidents concealed and an utter secret...then so be it.
Luckily for her, sometimes it was easier to hide a secret. Such a time would be similar to now; in her own home.
Rainbow was alone this particular night, her blue body nothing more than a small piled of mostly tangled blankets across her soft bed; and only highlighted by the occasional flash of lightning through the large windows of her room. She was warm and comfortable here, safe from the raging storm outside.
She was tired beyond belief; even for her, to fly all day and work hard to keep the weather in check was tiring, exhausting even. Today she'd have the day off, and that meant a long lie in. But for now, the darkness of the early hours of the morning were still shrouded by the heavy cloud cover outside, as other on-call pegasi fly to try and tame the storm winds and thunderous clashes outside.
She was used to the sound now, having worked with it herself. And, when you're so tired and deep asleep, you're not so prone to waking, even in such a storm.
Her body however, had other ideas.
She hadn't used a bathroom most of the day, and while this is fairly normal to most ponies, for Dashie it would prove to be a large error in her routine. She had been drinking plenty during a work day in summer heats, and having arrived home too tired to even take a warm both, she had entirely skipped her usual pre-bedtime relief. Now her body aches for a little relief, and though it's not pain inducing at all, the rain in the outside storm calls to her body, feeds into her dreams.
It's the soft pitter patter that's so enticing, sounds so much like a stream hitting the bowl of a toilet basin, sounds like glorious relief.
Her body wouldn't give up right away; instead turning over to attempt a more comfortable position while she remained asleep, wings stretching and laying out across one strewn pillow. It wasn't much of an effort; and her bladder gives a soft throb, trying to call to the sleeping mare's attention within her dreams.
Normally she'd wake up, any pony would. But so worn out, so happily warm and tucked in blankets, Dashie wasn't pulling out of her dreams anytime too soon, even with the loud crashes of thunder sounding not far from her home in Cloudsdale. This would be her downfall; now as her body almost fights to free itself of the blankets- almost knowing she should be waking up, that now would be the closest call to the bathroom she may have ever had-
But then the rain picks up outside, and the fast movement and twitch of her leg muscles pushing the blankets away from her hind quarters is the final straw on an already ballooning bladder. It had enough of waiting for her to move.
The first few drops escape; a warning to move now or face some dire consequences in her sleep. The small golden dribbles first sitting at the lips of her marehood, before slowly rolling off the curve of her thigh and lower leg; balancing on the flat inside join of her pale blue coat. It darkens a little with the droplets that rolled over it.
At this point her dreams turn to think of moving; of her aching need and desire, yet Rainbow resists; instead, her mind thinking of her beloved toilet, of her long day at work- coming home to a sweet sweet relief, as if she were living that moment.
And so, her body gave up its hold.
Her body trembles softly; and there's a gentle gasp of her unconcious reaction to a real feeling of relief. First a slight squirt escapes her; rolling down the same path the first droplets had, only this time continuing over the join of her leg to fall to the bedding in a small, coin-sized damp patch. Her lips trembled to try and hold back in a last-ditch attempt, but ultimately failed now.
A soft hiss begins to join the sound of pattering rain outside the windows; the sound of soft streams of gold starting to come more and more viciously out of Dashie's marehood as her body relaxes into the feeling, and she almost breaks a gentle moan of relief herself.
The warmth under her hind as it slowly becomes far more than a small patch was felt; and the mare rolls onto her back softly, as if knowing of the flood she was creating. Her muscles tensed in that moment; but quickly resume pouring out into her bedding.
The soft stream becomes a torrent now; unblocked by any position; the hissing grows louder than the rain outside for all but a few long moments, as the golden stream arcs out; some stray drops hitting and dampening the many colourful streaks in her nearby tail, but otherwise create a large circle of dampness in her bedding, even catching the edges of her kicked-off blankets.
The stream cannot last forever; and as her bladder finally empties its worth, the now damp-reared mare breaths a soft sigh of relief.
Even the storm outside becomes quieter; and casts some early morning light into the slightly golden puddle formed across Rainbow's bedding, and where her pale body remained in complete bliss, unknowing of what she had done.
