In the kingdom of Somorrah, Princess Estelle has been trained for the day she would become queen as well as a huntress. However, her naturally wild-hearted spirit clashes with the views of her traditionalist mother. When a mysterious creature named Akari find her way into the city, the two develop an instant connection. After helping Akari escape, Estelle is left with a mysterious book.

Upon a shocking discovery, Estelle defies her city's laws and ventures out into the world beyond their protected gates, where she once again stumbles upon Akari and new friends on a journey to search for a magical totem which can save her people from an inevitable threat.

But Estelle's departure has awaken an ancient evil, one which will stop at nothing to make sure the princess fails in her quest. Along the way, Estelle uncover new secrets, new powers, and will face her worst fears and struggles in order to defeat the darkness that has plagued their world.
