A Day in Glacial's Life

Glacial Break couldn't help it. She was obsessed with anypony and everypony, but she guessed it was because of her part

time at the Ponyville Times Her favorite job, though, was breaking ice off the rooftops. She was born for it, as her name

suggested. The fast and furious pony loved the cold more than anypony else especially when soaring in the clouds above the town. Most ponies loved the other seasons better, in fact Glacial and her friend, Apple Jack disagreed about the seasons more vigorously than the others. Apple  Jack thought that fall was obviously better, but Glacial has to point out that winter was the time to break the ice. But this story takes place in neither of these seasons, for today was a fresh, spring day, and everything n Ponyville was relaxed. which in turn, made Glaciers coat stand on edge. Every nerve in her body was itching for something to do. The pegasus pony could fly in loops for hours with her pent up energy.. wait.. Fly in loops.. Rainbow Dash! She was always willing to go on a cruise through the clouds! She pulled her wings from her body and with a mighty stroke she was soaring to Rainbows home in the clouds.

       "Sorry Glacie, no can do!" Rainbow shrugged apologetically. "im scheduled to help someponies  start a thunderstorm this  afternoon!" she rushed past Glacier and zoomed into the sky.

  "Can't! Pinkie pie yelled over the noise of the twins she was foal itting. "Mr. and Mrs. Cake need me to watch them!" it was the same with everyone. Apple Jack was tending the farm, Twilight had a report to finish, Rarity had an order to fill, and Fluttershy was taking care of her animals. Even Derpy Hooves was busy with her mail job. Glacier Break sat down defeated. "well," she

though to herself. "since everyones so busy, why don't i go on a adventure myself?" She wrestled with it for a moment then nodded to herself. "Lets go to the Everfree forest!" Thick headed, as always, she packed her saddle bag with only a few apples and headed to the edge of the town.

The everfree forest, as ominous as ever loomed above her. but never the one to actually think things through, she took a deep breath and charged into the darkness.
