So I read the spell it was the one we needed but I knew twilight wouldn’t like it. It had to be done through shear hate and power. For a pony to complete the spell they had to be desperate as I could have bad affects…

Some of these included…

-Memory loss

-body changes

-being consumed

-Being killed

-Be corrupted

And that’s only naming the ones I remember… This was a dangerous spell but we had to try it. I didn’t even tell twilight what the spell was I just told Darkice that I was going to cast it…

“Are you sure My Prince this spell is powerful…”

“Yes, I’m sure. Twilight if I start doing anything out of the ordinary, place me in a bubble. Darkice? Can you tell if a pony is corrupted?”

“Yes I can…”

“Then twilight if he says I’m badly corrupt and that I’m like Sombra kill me immediately!”

“Wait I’m not going to….”Before she had a chance to finish her sentence I had started casting the spell. I heard her say stop but I was far too close to completing the spell. This spell was taking a toll, it hurt but I pushed through and in a flash everything went dark.

I opened my eyes to a sight of confusion… I wasn’t dead but I didn’t feel alive. I wasn’t on ground but I knew I wasn’t falling. I then heard a voice.

“Hello young Prince it’s nice to finally meet you…”

“Finally??”

“Yes finally I have heard of other ponies talking of a new prince but like I said earlier, I never got to see…” I turned around to see a big black alicorn looking down at me. He was taller than Celestia. Horn sharper and longer than Celestia and a few inches longer on wing span. He held his wings close to his body. He looked down with a smile not sinister or smug just one with the world.

“Where are we?” I was confused and blown away by his form, the stature he held and the professionalism that could battle Celestia’s any day… He was relaxed and calm though I heard a twinge of fear in his voice. Scratchy and rough.

“We are in the changing and testing part of the universe. Only the most powerful Alicorns and unicorns have ever seen this place. I believe the number is less than 10. Even some of the world’s greatest leaders have never witnessed this place many have tried and many have fail but only 3 have come here and left empty hoofed.”

“Okay so do I have to pass a test?”

“As observant as I expected… Yes you do…”

“Good job Twi didn’t cast the spell then…” He gave a hearty laugh and started walking with his wing he motioned for me to follow.

“Yes well she had her good points but getting overly nervous is her way of dealing with it I guess.” We passed an arch. “But enough about the world and what’s happening. We are here for an important reason and we need to address it quickly… we don’t have long in this place.”
